Where's the "Unsubscribe from these Visions" Button?
Sylvia looked around the snow-covered camp, feeling Fawkes shift on her shoulder as she did so. She could tell Percy was confused by the snow, which made sense.
See, the camp has the ultimate magic climate control. Nothing got inside the borders unless Mr. D wanted them to. He was unpredictable on the days he chose snow, though. They'd had multiple sunny winter days and vice versa. That day was definitely a snow day, though. Frost covered the chariot track and the strawberry fields. The cabins were decorated with tiny flickering lights, like they were before Sylvia left. Only thing different about them than normal Christmas lights were the fact there were real balls of enchanted fire.ย
"Whoa," Nico said from behind Sylvia as he climbed off the bus. "Is that a climbing wall?"
"Yep," Sylvia said, turning around and smiling at him. "It's great. Very fun to push people off if they annoy me." She glanced at Percy. "Not that I've ever done that or anything."
Percy grumbled something about no-good competitive cheaters.
"Why is there lava pouring down it?"
"Little extra challenge," Percy said. "Come on. I'll introduce you to Chiron. Zoe, have you met--"
"I know Chiron," Zoe said stiffly. "Tell him we will be in Cabin Eight. Hunters, follow me."
"I'll show you the way," Grover offered.
"They know the way, Grover," Sylvia reminded him, not wanting them to have to deal with an overexcited satyr in love with them their entire stay.
"Oh, really, it's no trouble. It's easy to get lost here, if you don't"--he tripped over a canoe and came up still talking--"like my old daddy goat used to say! Come on!"
Zoe rolled her eyes, but seemed to realize there was no getting rid of Grover. The Hunters shouldered their packs and bows--which were awesome and extremely pretty, by the way--and headed off toward the cabins. As Bianca was leaving, she leaned over and whispered something in her brother's ear. She looked at him for an answer, but Nico just scowled and turned away, grabbing Sylvia's hand. She sent the older di Angelo an apologetic smile.
"Take care, sweethearts!" Apollo called after the Hunters. He winked at Percy and Sylvia. "Pay attention to those dreams and visions, Sylvia." Then, in a voice that seemed to travel straight to her ear and went no where else, "Don't tell anyone about them yet. Trust me." Then he was back to his normal voice. "Take care of Lux, they'll need it. And, Percy, watch out for those prophecies. I'll see y'all soon."
"What do you mean?" Percy and Sylvia asked at the same time, immediately scowling at each other.
Instead of answering, he hopped back in the bus. "Later, Thalia," he called. "And, uh, be good!"
He gave her a wicked smile, as if he knew something she didn't. Then he closed the doors and revved the engine. Sylvia watched as the sun chariot took off in a blast of heat and light. Then she turned to Nico, who was still looking grumpy.
"What d'you think you'll love about this place the most will be?" she asked him.
"Uh...what's the bedtime?"
She winked. "Depends on who you ask."
"That's got to be one of my favourites, then," he decided. "Also, who's Chiron? I don't have his figurine."
"Our activities director," Percy said. "He's...well, you'll see."
"If those Hunter girls don't like him," Nico grumbled, "that's good enough for me. Let's go."
As they walked, they passed none other than Finn Nakamura, who was arguing with faer brother over something. As soon as they saw them, though, they both stopped, Ethan waving goodbye to faer and walking away while Finn jogged toward them.
"Hey!" fae greeted. "You're back! Also, was that your dad over there?"
"Yep," Sylvia confirmed.ย
"And who are you?" fae asked, spotting Nico.
"Nico," he said. "Nice to meet you. I like your blue hair! What's your name? And...sorry, I can't tell. Are you a girl or a boy?"
Sylvia tensed slightly at that question, but Finn just smiled. "I'm non-binary."
"So...you're a they/them person?" he asked.
Finn shook faer head. "My pronouns are fae/faer."
"Oh, I didn't know that was a thing." He thought about it for a minute. "That's so cool!"
Fae smiled. "Thank you!"
They made it to the Big House, which was decorated with strings of red and yellow fireballs that warmed the porch but didn't catch anything on fire. Inside, flames crackled in the hearth. The air smelled like hot chocolate. Mr D, the camp director, and Chiron were playing a quiet game of cards in the parlor. Finn bade them goodbye and told them fae'd find them later, when they weren't busy.
Sylvia suddenly felt a wave of nausea. She paused for a moment, gauging how bad it was. She finally decided she'd definitely end up with her snacks she ate in Sally's car on the floor if she stayed like that, so she announced, "I feel sick," and left, apologizing to Nico and promising she'd show him everything about camp when she felt better. Fawkes decided to stay so she could tell Sylvia what happened after, which was nice of her. Or she just wanted to be with Nico.
She made her way to her cabin, which was empty, and, as soon as she stepped inside, she crumpled to the ground.

It was the darkness again. Footsteps disturbed the endless silence.ย
"Laomedon cheated me! I saved the maiden, and he gave me nothing!" the voice from her last dream--Heracles--said.
"Um...Heracles," Ceol said, his voice sounding a lot more subdued and nervous than it was in the last dream, "didn't...didn't I save the maiden whilst thou watched, calling out 'encouragements?'"
"What did I just hear spew from thy mouth?" Hercules's voice was low and dangerous. There was a sound of a slap, something Sylvia was very familiar to. "Never, ever even imply that again, Ceol. If thou dare to, I will not hesitate to murder thee. Am I understood?"
Ceol gave a whimper that sounded like a "Yes."
"Good. Now, use that persuasive music power thou have to convince others to join us."
"Join us...in what, Heracles?" Ceol sounded fearful.
"In an army, of course. To capture Laomedon's city so I may get my prize for saving the maiden."
"Heracles, isn't that too agressive, even fo--"
"Silence, fool! Do as I told thou or there will be consequences."
"...Yes, Heracles."
The vision ended with footsteps, this time walking away from the scene. The darkness started to fade, and a voice boomed, "Do not tell anyone until it is said to be okay by an Olympian."

"Sylvia! Via! Can you hear me? Are you okay?" Sylvia groaned.
"She's awake!" cheered someone--Austin.
"Sylvia, what happened?" Finn asked.
Sylvia opened her eyes and saw she was still in the Apollo cabin, just on the couch this time. Her dream--vision?--came rushing back to her.
"I--" she struggled to think of a believable answer. Both the vision and Apollo warned her not to tell anyone. "Probably sleep deprivation. Haven't slept in a while."
She sat up carefully and looked around. All Apollo campers that were staying at camp at the moment were there, plus Finn.
"We were so scared!" Will said. "Finn just rushed up to us in the middle of archery. Said fae saw you collapse on the ground."
"Sorry," she apollogized (Yes, I'm spelling it that way for this entire fic now. Deal with it).ย
Kayla hugged her. "It wasn't your fault. Actually, it sorta was. Never go without sleep! Get at least eight hours! Please!"
Sylvia smiled at her. "I'll try. By the way, how long was I out for?"
"Just a few minutes," Will informed her.ย
"I need to go show Nico around the camp, then," she decided, standing up and immediately feeling a wave of nausea. She held onto Lux's shoulders for support.
"No way!" said Will. "You have to sleep!"
"How will I get a good sleeping habit if I fall asleep right now, Will?"
Lux tilted their head to the side for a moment. "She-she has a po-point."
"Thank you, Lux."
"Well, you can't just leave by yourself!" Will protested. "What if you collapse again?"
"How about you go with me, then?" Sylvia asked. "Also, stop being a worrywart for your siblings. That's my job."
"I...sure, I'll go with you," he decided.
"You 100% sure you'll be okay?" Finn confirmed, faer brown eyes shining with worry.
"I'll be fine," Sylvia reassured. "Thank y'all for the concern, though."
"Oh, I just realized I have sword-fighting right now," Finn said suddenly. "I need to go back to that. See you!"
Fae rushed out quickly, faer curly blue hair bouncing behind faer.
"Well, see all of you later," Sylvia said, grabbing Will's hand and dragging him out with her.
"Do you even know where he is?" Will asked.
"He might still be at the Big House. I'm actually not su--oh, hey, Fawkes!"
"Who?"
"Remember me telling you about how Dadsaid I could get my birthday present at any time? Well, I asked him for one while on the way there." Fawkes landed on her shoulder. "Fawkes here can shrink herself and other things. Because of her, I was able to shrink and hide Fiendfyre while I was at Westover."
"How was that, by the way?" he asked.
Sylvia winced, her thoughts turning to Annabeth. She had to be okay, right? "Not...not the best. Annabeth--she got...captured? Kidnapped? And one of the kids joined the Hunters." She refrained to mention how she'd also been offered toย join them.
"I'm so sorry, Via!" Will said immediately, crushing her with a hug.ย
She managed a weak smile. "So am I."
Ahem, said Fawkes.
Sorry, have I been ignoring you? Sylvia asked.
No. Just needed to get your attention. You're looking for Nico, right? He's outside of the Big House right now.
Thank you!
No problem.
"Fawkes says Nico's at the Big House!" Sylvia announced.
Will stared at her with wide eyes. "She can talk?"
"More like we have a sort of mental connection."
"Huh. Well, let's go meet him!"
They jogged to the Big House.ย
"Nico!" Sylvia said when they arrived. "I wanna introduce you to someone. This is my brother, Will!"
Nico smiled, looking sort of shy, at him. "Hi."
"Hi!" Will said enthusiastically. "We're here to show you around!"
"Cool!" he said. "I saw the orientation film, but it was sort of confusing."
"Ask us any questions you have," Sylvia told him kindly. "Also, what'd you think of the film? I'm pretty sure you and I are the only ones who've actually seen it. There's always some excuse not to."
"My excuse was they weren't sure my I'd be able to pay attention long enough," Will piped in. "Even though Via has a shorter attention span than me."
"It was awesome! There was so much blood!" Nico said.
Sylvia laughed. "Now, how about that tour, huh?"
Ten minutes into the tour and Will had a new bestie.
Twenty minutes into the tour Sylvia realized Will definitely wasn't straight, something she already knew but just could tell on a whole new level.
Thirty minutes into the tour Nico declared Sylvia his sister.
At the end of the tour, Nico gave Sylvia and Fawkes a hug and high-fived Will.ย
"You better take care of him, Travis," Sylvia warned. "Or I will hear about it and personally deal with you."
Travis looked like he wasn't sure if he should laugh or bow.
"Oh, and is Finn there?"
"Why?" he asked with a smirk.
"Travis I will shoot you in the eye."
"No, fae isn't. Don't know where fae is, actually."
"What a good cabin counselor. Well, I'll see you at dinner, Nico!"
"Bye, Syl! Bye Fawkes! Goodbye Will!" He waved, then disappeared as he closed the door.
"So, Will." Sylvia turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "What d'you think of Nico?"
He flushed. "Doesn't matter."
And thus Solangelo was born
Once again, don't really like this chapter and it's unedited (well, parts of it, anyways), but it showed a few things that are sorta essential, soo yeah.
I was considering putting Clarisse in the "worried siblings/friends" scene, but then decided "nah, she'll have her moment later" (which I have already planned already. If I write it properly, it'll show their relationship)
