The alarm clock that was blaring on the side of your bed read 6:45am. It was Thursday and there was only one day in between till your date with Peter. You were hoping nothing would go wrong so you'll be able to at least enjoy it. Maybe I can wake up a little later. I won't be late. I always make it a couple of minutes before the first bell anyways so that's perfectly fine.

Brazen and Penelope were usually gone in the morning working before headed out to school. Hence the reason why they were always home when you got there from school later on in the day. You didn't expect to hear anyone's voice except for your owl's that was playing with one of her toys with her beak.

"(Y/n)! Hurry up before you're late!" Brazen yelled from the bottom of the stairs. You opened your mouth to say something but was a bit surprised when you heard his voice. Did he not go to work today? He started up the stairs when he didn't hear you response and that's when you spoke up. "Just 5 more minutessss..." you complained and he chuckled but made it to your bedroom door due to his long legs.

Opening up your door he grabbed one of your nearby cushions and threw it at you. "Come on. I'll get you a (f/s) on the way to school. I'm going walk you to school for safety reasons. So let's go." He told you and you mumbled in your pillow but laughed then sat up. "Fine fine." You replied and you knew he was just being protective by trying to make sure that the same person wasn't following you on the way to school.

He exited your room so you could get ready and headed back downstairs to grab something he wanted to eat. You sluggishly got up from the comfort of your bed and walked over to the bathroom. You were in and out in less than 4 minutes. Taking showers were always something you managed to do before bedtime and it saved you time in the morning. (Unless you shower in the morning then switch that or something)

Getting dressed up in under 2 minutes and petting your owl before grabbing your school bag. You were about the head out when you had almost forgotten about your sketchbook. Besides your best of friends, it was practically the only thing to keep you from getting bored in class or making awkward glances at people.

Heading downstairs, you met up with Brazen who was shoving the rest of his half eaten muffin into his mouth. "You're disgusting sometimes Braz." You told him as you giggled and he did nothing but smiled with his mouth full. After taking a minute to swallow, he opened the front door and looked back at you over his shoulder before telling you "Let's go. I made you an agreement to get you that (f/s) if you hurried up."

"I was thinking about having a sleepover at my house. Girls only of course so we can talk about, you know." Blossom had started off as you smiled and saw Mj nodding her head. The face Ned had made Brandi laugh before she commented "That's of course of the boys would like to join and do spa masks and gossip." Ned and Peter shook their heads quickly no, which made you laugh softly. Where you were sitting was right across from Peter, Mj across from Ned and Blossom across from her girlfriend. You all were smiling now at each other. That's when you heard it.

"I will come for you. There's no way you'll be able to stop me from getting to you. I'm closing in and there'll be no where you can run to." The voice spoke in your head. It was clear that someone was coming for you.

Mj and Peter were the ones to notice how you had blanked out into space. Just staring at the table. Mj noticed fear in your eyes as your hand started to shake lightly and Peter saw how worried you were. "(Y/n)?" Mj asked but there was no response from you. "Hey, (Y/n/n). Are you alright?" She asked again and once she gently placed a hand on your shoulder, you snapped out of it. "Hm? What?" You said looking up at your friends then at Mj directly. "Oh, uh I.. Yeah. I'm f-fine. Everything's fi-" you started to finish but was cut off by Brooke. "Oh hey guys. I wanted to speak to (Y/n) here." She said and looked at you.

I'm-not-in-a-good-mood tone "What do you want?" And she raised her eyebrow but in an annoyed angry way as she crossed her arms. "I need to tell you something in the hallway. Now." She replied and made sure to emphasize the last word at you. Dropping your fork that was in your hand on your tray, you stood up. "I'll be back guys." You told your friends you looked at you with faces full of wonder.

Walking down the isle, out of the cafeteria doors and into the hallway, you crossed your arms and looked over at her. "What do you want." You said in an annoyed tone and she gave you an evil smirk. "Hearing voices yet? Or do you need a little shove for them to process through that little loser head of yours." She started to say making you wide your eyes slightly but not much so she doesn't notice. You tried to maintain a bitch face you were noticed for.

"I don't know what voices you are talking about or referring to. So if you don't mind, I'm going back to the people who actually like me and appreciate me. They're called my friends by the way if you didn't know that. Or maybe you did but no one will truly know in that bully type of head of yours. Now if you don't excuse me. I'll be on my way." You told her and as you were turning around to leave, she spoke up again. "So you don't have that connection to them?"

Stopping in your tracks, you rolled your eyes and turned back around to face her. "Oh you know. The connection from one experiment to their Hydra commander? Am I mistaken and you're not actually (Y/n) Maximoff? The younger sister to the siblings?" She continued and it made your face fall as it turned a bit pale. "I.. I don't know what you're talking about." Brooke laughed lightly and pointed to the necklace around your neck. "So you're trying to tell me that the necklace you're wearing right now is not in fact Wanda's? Look I'm not dumb and I have my resources. He is coming for you if you like it or not."

You were lost for words at the moment and it broke when she said "Well I need to go. I have more.. important business to attend to. Chao!" And with that she was gonna walking down the hallway. Standing there surprised, you walked back into the cafeteria and to the table where you sat with your friends. They all noticed how pale your face look. As if you got spooked by a ghost. "What's wrong (Y/n)?" Peter spoke up for everyone when you looked over at them.

"I.. I need to go.." You told them when they had their faces full of concern and you started to grab your things. "I-I will message or talk to you guys later." Was all you told them as you quickly scurried out of the cafeteria and down the hallway. Peter was about to stand up until Ned grabbed his arm. "Later bro." He told him and Peter felt like he really should be going after you just to make sure if you were okay but he knew Ned was right. "Yeah.. alright.." He said.

The rest of your friends were walking out of the cafeteria to the bell ringing for the next class when they all spotted with a tall man walking down the hallway towards the office. "What's Brazen doing here?" Peter asked and his question got answered when the principal's office door opened showing you sitting on the chair. "Why is she in the office?" Brandi asked. "I don't know but I'm guessing that it had to be that Brooke bitch that must've said something for her to go to the office like that and act the way she did at lunch." Blossom added and everyone nodded their heads in agreement. "Whatever it was probably wasn't good for Brazen to come." Mj stated and then Ned asked "Why would you say that?" - "Because Brazen is the most protective between her guardians. Penelope is too but not as much as Brazen." She finished off.

Not a second later after she told him that, both you and Brazen walked out of the principal's office. The principal gave you a moment along with him so you could explain exactly what happened during lunch. Which is why when Brazen walked out of the office, his face wasn't a happy one and your face remained the same pale look as you walked down the hallway alongside him. Your friends were both shocked by the way the both of you looked and angry. Shocked because they never saw you like that and leaving school, and angry for whatever Brooke must've told you to make you act like that towards them. It automatically changed the mood for the rest of the day after they saw you go through the school doors.
