Fact
yugyeom
She started walking toward the main part of town while I followed closely behind, not feeling comfortable enough to walk right beside her.
It was kinda weird being so close to her, not to mention during an awkward situation, due to our past encounter earlier this week.
I'd wanted to ask her why she'd been crying.
Why she was singing strangely.
Why she kept talking to a so called 'Youngjae'.
So, I figured now was a better time.
Though I didn't want to just throw the question on her.
I wanted to be subtle and get to know her first.
Get to know the reason why she was so strange and why people at school accused her of having a mental disability.
I wanted to know her.
And so that was my mission.
"E-excuse me, Chaeyoung?" I said shyly.
She turned slightly but continued to walk.
"Yes stalker?" she spoke cheerfully.
The happiness in her voice and on her face confused me, not to mention the embarrassing nickname.
Wasn't she just crying 3 days ago? She's suddenly normal being around me again?
Weird.
"Um, just wondering.. Where are we going?" I asked.
She thought to herself for a second before turning to her side and whispering something.
She was doing it again.
She was conversing with.. Jae.
For some reason it made me slightly uncomfortable that she did it so easily in my presence but to be honest, she never really cared about what people said about her.
Either that or she just didn't notice.
But either way it was interesting.
After 'talking to Jae' she turned toward me again and smiled.
"Bubble tea," she replied.
I nodded my head and looked away.
She stared at me for a moment before whispering something I couldn't hear.
It gave me a weird feeling again.
Knowing that she was comfortable enough to talk to her imaginary friend right in front of me.
Then my mind remembered Mook.
I was debating on whether or not to tell Kunpimook about it or not, but decided to put it off for a while until he noticed on his own.
I didn't need my best friend to start teasing me or making fun/ questioning me on why I hung around her.
Why I hung out with the weirdo at our school.
This was, in a way, classified business that would only be revealed when people chose to see it.
Though deep down,
I was secretly hoping that nobody did.
