BRINA'S POV:

When I walked into the penthouse with Bree, Chase and Mr Davenport I was shocked. It was HUGE.

"Holy moly! This place is humongous!" - BREE

"I am so excited!!" - BRINA

"You guys can explore more later, I have some people I'd like you to meet" - DONALD

"Oh yeah we get to meet the rest of this so called 'elite force'." - CHASE

'They better be cool." - BRINA

Donald starts walking towards the balcony. Me, Bree and Chase look at each other confused, before following slowly behind him. On the balcony before us, theres some weird hologram which looks like some weird logo. It's probably the stupid logo for this stupid elite force. I mean like why did Davenport let me into this team when I was only a student at the Bionic Academy. To be fair, I feel like since I'm on the powerful side of all the people with bionics, so I think that's why I was always on missions with them. My thoughts got interrupted by Chase asking Mr Davenport 'why they were there'. I was confused, but I looked up and there they were.

Oliver, Skylar and Kaz.

I looked at Mr Davenport and then back at the trio I haven't seen in a year, maybe?

"We're working with them?" - CHASE

"Yeah. Uh me and Oliver have powers now" - KAZ

"Really?!" - BRINA

"Yeah! Oliver has Ice powers and Super strength. I have fire powers. We both have flight" - KAZ

"Oliver has super strength?" - BRINA

"Why do people get so confused when we say that!" - OLIVER

"We can see your ribcage through your shirt Oliver." - SKYLAR & BREE

Everyone chuckles. Oliver wraps his arms around himself, hiding it away. I look over at Kaz, he's already looking at me so I look away. Gosh I am going to make a fool of myself anytime he's around. I can bet money on that. All the money I have, which is not a lot but I'm willing to bet it.

"So what bionics do you guys actually have? I'm not sure you never actually told us" - KAZ

"Uh well I have Super speed, an enhanced jump, enhanced agility, invisibility, vocal manipulation and enhanced durability" - BREE

"I have super intelligence, a force field, a commando app which doesn't go off as much anymore, I have a bionic vision/scan vision, I have super durability, a magnetism app, Molecularkinesis-" - CHASE

"What is a 'Molecularkinesis'." - KAZ

"It just means that he can move almost anything with his mind" - BRINA

"Can't it just be called moving things with his mind?" - KAZ

"No. It has to be some stupid sciencey thing." - BRINA

"Hey! You have those bionics as well!! You can't be judging me!" - CHASE

"Oh go away Chase!" - BRINA

"My bad, forgot you were bonding with your boyfriend Kaz." - CHASE

"Chase I am about to use my laser eyes on you. Don't even try it." - BRINA

"Well Kaz seems to be enjoying this seeing as he started smiling when I said he was your boyfriend" - CHASE

"Will you all shut up?" - BREE

"You guys are so loud." - SKYLAR

"Shut up Skylar!" - CHASE & BRINA

I looked over at Kaz and saw him and Oliver laughing.

"Brina y'know if you stop looking at Kaz, maybe Chase will stop calling him your boyfriend." - BREE

"I am not looking at Kaz!" - BRINA

"Then who are you looking at? Because we know it's not Oliver." - SKYLAR

"Oh shut up!" - BRINA

I get up and walk away, going down the hyper lift and down to mission command. Honestly, it's so cool down here. I'm definitely going to hang out down here more often. I sit down against the wall and sigh. This elite force is not going well so far.

"You okay?" - KAZ

I look up, Kaz has suddenly appeared down here. I didn't even hear the hyper lift.

"Yeah I'm okay." - BRINA

He comes and sits down next to me. If I start blushing I'm literally going to blow myself up immediately.

"So uhhh" - KAZ

"Why did you ever flirt with me?" - BRINA

"What?" - KAZ

"When I was at mighty med with Adam,Bree,Chase and Leo. You flirted with me." - BRINA

"I'm not sure." - KAZ

"Oh alright" - BRINA

Kaz gets up and puts his hand out, to help me get up. I take his hand and get up, we both go up the hyperlift. Him still holding my hand.

"You're still holding my hand." - BRINA

"You're letting me." - KAZ

I move my hand away, grinning slightly. Kaz and I stood quietly in the hyperlift, our hands now separated. Despite the awkwardness, our smiles were bright and genuine. I couldn't help but notice how handsome Kaz looked, and I was sure that he took notice of me as well.

As the hyperlift lurched to a stop, I quickly looked down, embarrassed at the way I'd just stared at him. But when I looked back up, Kaz was still smiling at me.

"So, we're going to be working together again, aren't we?" - KAZ

"Yeah. Yeah, we are." - BRINA

Our eyes met and held, my heart fluttered against my ribs with anticipation. I felt my breath quicken, and I could sense Kaz's heart pounding as well. The intensity of the moment was palpable, and without saying anything, we both knew what was going on.

"I guess I'll see you in the morning then?" - KAZ

"Yeah, we'll see each other in the morning." - BRINA

Me and Kaz stepped out of the elevator. We stood there for a moment, neither one of us willing to break the connection. Finally, Kaz nodded and turned to go. I watched him go with anticipation, my heart swelling with every beat.

CHAPTER 1 FINISHED

This is probably really bad but this is the first story I'm putting real effort in. I feel like I mostly never put effort into my stories and I always feel bad. But I hope you guys enjoy! Thank you to anyone who reads this, I appreciate it.
