Poppy's POV

Ugh, the egg just hit on Branch. It should hit on Kaylee!

And they kept on flirting on each other!

UGGHHH!!!

Okay. Calm yourself, Poppy. It's just for their work.

I WOULD RAISE MY MIDDLE FINGER IN FRONT OF HER AND SLAP HER FREAKIN' FACE-

N-no way! I'm a queen. A queen should be a good role model to everyone. She is a Troll like the rest of us, and I shouldn't do that to her.

But she's too much!

Okay, calm down.

"Umm, Poppy?" Creek asked, curious about my actions. He waved his hand to my face, bringing back my consciousness. "You look angry."

"Oh." I said, realizing that I'm too obvious. "Sorry."

I fixed myself and continued on tossing glitter and flowers to everyone.

Branch and Kaylee kept on flirting each other, eh? Well then, let the jealousy game begin.

The parade ended on the center of Sunshine Village. Everyone went on to the dancefloor and the host, DJ Suki, started the Evening Party.

"Are you ready, everyone?!" DJ Suki shouted to the microphone she's holding.

Everyone screamed in excitement and started to dance. DJ played the party music and started to sing.

Creek and I held our hands and danced to the beat. But my eyes kept on looking at Branch. And it turns out that Branch is doing the same thing too...

"WHOO! Great song, everybody!" DJ cheered. "Do 'ya want more?!"

"Yeah!" everyone answered.

"Okay! But before we start, let us call the Snack Pack to join me."

We all smiled and went to DJ.

The music started to play and then she asked, "alright guys, are 'ya ready?!"

They all shouted, "Yes!"

Today is dinner and we are assigned to be seated at a specific table.

DJ Suki grabbed a paper and read it. "Okay. Table #1 will have Poppy, Creek, Branch, Kaylee, Guy Diamond, Cooper, Biggie, Smidge, Satin, Chenille, Fuzzbert, and me."

Kaylee? Ugh. Now I feel pessimistic about this.

"Please seat there," DJ added, pointing at table #1. "I'll be back. I will just be assigning the others for their respective tables."

We all nodded and started to sit on table 1. It was great feeling, having all my friends at one table. But soon I feel disillusioned, remembering that Kaylee was also assigned to be seated at table 1. And what's worse is that Branch is sitting beside me and Kaylee.

"So, what should we talk about?" Guy Diamond asked. He saw Branch and I, with the Broppy breakers beside us, and so he smirked. "So, how's your day, Poppy?"

"Uhh...I'm fine!" I answered, lying about what I really feel. "Right, BEST FRIEND?" I furiously added and elbowed Branch.

"Yeah," he answered in annoyance and rolled his eyes. He crossed his arms and looked away from me. Trying not to lose, I also did the same.

DJ Suki's POV

I wish I could put Kaylee on the other tables, but I can't. Branch and Poppy should be together, not like this. And I can't just put Creek at the other tables nor seats just for them! Creek is one of the Snack Pack and he's also Poppy's partner in the parade. So there's nothing I can do for them, even though I want to help.

And because of this tragedy-like situation, they are becoming distraught on each other.

Branch's POV

"Umm... What's happening?" Smidge asked, knowing that there is something between us.

"Nothing!" We both answered and fake-grinned.

"There's nothing to worry about." Poppy added.

"Are 'ya sure?" Cooper asked and we both nodded gravely.

DJ Suki came back, very exhausted, and sat between Guy Diamond and Creek. "Hey, guys! Phew, that's a lot of work there... Let's eat then?"

Everyone nodded and each had a slice of Black Forest-flavored cake.

"Branchie!" Kaylee called, making me look at her. She was holding a spoon with a piece of cake on it, trying to tell me that she will feed me. Even if it was a bit awkward, I opened my mouth and ate the cake.

My eyes suddenly turned to Poppy and saw her pink face full of fury.

Poppy immediately scooped a spoon of cake and fed it to Creek.

"Mmm... Tastes good!" Creek said and smiled at Poppy.

She turned her fuming eyes to mine and rolled them. Subsequently, she looked at Creek. Seeing a pinch of icing on his mouth, she started acting that she is a lot worried. "Oh Creek!" She exclaimed, grabbing a tissue and wiping the icing on his mouth with it.

Ugh. Why is Poppy doing that? It was just a simple wipe on his face, but it makes me jealous!

Startled, I gave a profound stare at those exasperating lovebirds while trying to feed Kaylee.

"Mmm!!" Kaylee yelled. I haven't noticed that I'm too focused on what Poppy is doing to Creek that the piece of cake is already pressed on her cheek and the icing is already spreaded on it.

"Umm...oh.." I said, pretending to be alarmed on what I just did to Kaylee and so I wiped her cheek full of icing using a tissue. "Sorry," I added.

"Umm, is this a jealousy game?" Cooper whispered to Guy Diamond, distressed about me and Poppy's case.

"I'm really sorry, babe," I said, apologizing to Kaylee. The reason why I said babe? To make Poppy jealous.

Poppy was flabbergasted when she heard me say that word to someone else. I suddenly remembered how I promised Poppy not to call anyone else with sweet nicknames but her.

Meanwhile, our attention turned to DJ Suki at the stage when the speakers boomed as she spoke to the microphone. Because of the jealousy game Poppy and I are doing, we did not even noticed that DJ was already on the stage.

"Everybody go to the dance floor and dance with this romantic music." DJ said serenely.

The music started to play and everyone began dancing.

Kaylee pulled me to the dance floor, wrapped her arms around me and we started to sway. But my eyes are still locked on Poppy's, even though she's with Creek. And it turns out, Poppy was doing the same too.

This magic spell you cast.... ♪

I think Poppy feels so battered because Kaylee is too much with her actions. She hugged me tighter and rested her face on my chest-which bothered Poppy even more.

"Creek, excuse me for a moment." Poppy said and walked out.

♪ ...This is la vie en rose... ♪

Something might happen. I should follow them too.

Poppy's POV

And though I close my eyes

What the heck are they doing? Are they intentionally trying to flirt right in front of me?!

I can't take it. I went beside the restrooms and cried to release the pain inside me...

Tears fell down my cheeks even though I feel like I don't even need to cry.

The music is still playing from the stereo. Those guys are probably flirting on each other until now.

"Poppy?" A familiar voice said. I turned to see who it is and saw Creek.

I didn't answer anything and quickly wiped the tears from my eyes.

Everyday words seem to turn into love song... ♪

"Look, Poppy. You don't deserve to be treated like that. You deserved to be loved."

"But...I know it's just acting-"

"Poppy, can't you see? Your boyfriend's taking advantage on you. But me, I can love you with all my heart. I can love you more than how Branch can do. I-I love you." Creek said and held my hands.

"C-Creek. I...uh..."

Creek held my cheek and was just going to lean on me for a kiss, but then Branch came in my sight, giving a distraught look, and walked out.

I quickly pushed Creek and yelled, "B-Branch, wait!"

Creek did not speak a word but I can see on his deep, purple eyes how guilty he was.

I turned to him and asked, "Creek?! Why did you did that? You know that I have a boyfriend, right? How many times do I have to tell you that-that you need to accept the truth, that I don't have feelings to you anymore. Don't you understand?!"

"I-I'm so sorry..." Creek answered, looking like he was apologetic about what he have done.

"Just...just don't do it again." I said, not looking at him.

Creek sighed and looked down to his feet in shame.

"I...I better go." I said and went back to the dance floor.
