- Third POV -

The next day, at the MIKAELSON COMPOUND, Klaus and Elijah sits at the table, awaiting for Marcalos.

A portal opens; Elder King Marcalos steps through it and the portal closes.

"Elijah? Come to see Klaus Mikaelson off before he departs to my Underworld Palace?" Marcalos asked.

"Let's get this over with." Klaus said, getting up and walks up to Marcalos.

Marcalos just looks at Klaus. "I must say, Klaus, I was impressed by how you were going to my Underworld out of love. So, I will release you from your deal."

Klaus looks at Marcalos, not believing him. "You're bluffing?"

"Does it look like I'm bluffing?" Marcalos said with a serious look on his face. "Yes, I am obsessed with your immortal soul, Klaus, but I'm not crazy about it."

"What's the catch?" Elijah asked, not falling for whatever trick that Marcalos has up his sleeves.

"There is none, Elijah." Marcalos tells him and looks at Klaus again. "You deserve your comeuppance and whatever punishment that comes upon you, by me, of course, so, I'll back off from you. I enjoy toying with you and messing with you. But know this, Klaus, you will always be my favorite soul. Klaus Mikaelson, I release you from your deal."

Klaus and Marcalos exchange tense looks at each other and Marcalos vanishes into a puff of red smoke.

In the study with the fireplace, Klaus and Elijah sits on the armchairs.

"Have you spoken to Christy?" Elijah asked.

"She blocked my phone." Klaus said.

"Go to her and make amends with her." Elijah said.

Klaus and Elijah exchange looks at each other. Elijah gets up and slowly walks over to Klaus, gently puts a reassuring hand on Klaus's shoulder and Elijah walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- PALACE GRAND FOYER

Later that day, Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy sits on the steps.

[Christy Uniform Outfit]

"How are things going with you and Klaus?" Thalia asked.

"Klaus and I are separated." Christy told them.

Zenith, Thalia and Max looks glum.

"Damn, I'm sorry about that." Zenith said, expressing his sorrow.

"Yeah, me too." Christy said.

"Are you and Klaus going to work things out?" Max asked.

"I don't know. Klaus will always be Klaus. I really thought he had changed, but somehow, he always finds himself in the darkness and he expects Elijah or me, to rescue him every time." Christy said.

"I have changed." Klaus said, as an astral projection.

Zenith, Thalia and Max looks at Klaus. And then, Zenith, Thalia and Max looks at Christy again.

"We have some errands to do, so, we'll see you later, Christy." Zenith said.

Zenith, Thalia and Max gets up and walks away, leaving Klaus and Christy together.

Klaus looks at Christy, not knowing what to say to her.

"Elijah is okay. I borrowed the Golden Fleece." Klaus told her.

"That's good, I'm glad Elijah is going to be okay. But I'm going to make sure for myself." Christy said.

"I also made a deal with Marcalos, but he released me from it." Klaus tells her.

"That was stupid of you." Christy said and looks at him. "Why would you do some stupid shit like that?"

"So, Marcalos would stop bothering me." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other for a short moment of tense silence between them.

Christy gets up to her feet. "You're an idiot. You're a complete fucking idiot."

"Christy?" Klaus said.

"You know damn well that Marcalos never keeps his word and once you make a deal with him, there is no way out." Christy said, walks down the steps and walks up to Klaus with a serious expression on her face. "So, I assume that the only reason that the Underworld Elder God released you from your deal was because of Elijah and me. Or maybe, he has a blind spot for you, his favorite soul."

"I get that you're angry with me, Christy. But I am trying to make amends." Klaus said. "You and I may have our quarrels, but you and I find our way back to each other. I believe that."

"Elijah believed in your redemption." Christy told him with a serious expression on her face with tears in her eyes.

Klaus looks at her, hurt.

"I used to, but what's the point of your redemption if you keep going down the dark path again and again." Christy tells him. "Compared to the blood on your hands and the lives you have destroyed, you're no better than Mikael."

Klaus looks at her, even more, hurt. And Christy just looks at him with a serious look on her face.

And then, Majordoma Andriani slowly walked into the grand foyer with her iPad tablet.

"What is it, Andriani?" Christy asked, not breaking eye contact with her husband, Klaus.

"You are being requested to meet Elder Queen Ismene in the throne room, Milady Advisor Christiana." Andriani informed her.

Christy walks over to Andriani and they both walks away. And Klaus magically vanishes.

- Third POV -

That afternoon, a dejected Klaus makes a mess in his room, remembering the good moments that he and Christy shared together. Except for damaging his personal canvas paintings of Christy.

After breaking and flipping over tables, Klaus gently slides down against the wall and onto the floor, whimpering softly to himself.

Elijah slowly walks into the now, messy room of Klaus's and Christy's room and sees Klaus whimpering softly to himself with his head in his hand.

Klaus looks up at Elijah and gently wipes his face with tears away.

"I assume that it didn't go well with making amends with Christy." Elijah said.

"She wants nothing to do with me anymore. She compared me to Mikael." Klaus tells him.

Elijah slowly walks over to Klaus and sits down next to him.

"What is wrong with me?" Klaus asked. "My whole life has been nothing but darkness. And then, suddenly, Christy, comes into my life and brightens it. Christy wants nothing to do with me. She loathes me."

"Christy doesn't loathe you, Niklaus." Elijah said.

"You didn't see the look on her face, I did. I've seen that serious look on her face whenever we quarrel with each other." Klaus said. "What if this is my greatest punishment? To lose the love of my life and have my marriage destroyed?"

"You and Christy will find a way back to each other. You always do." Elijah said.

Klaus and Elijah exchange calm looks at each other.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- PALACE THRONE ROOM

Later that afternoon, in the palace throne room, Elder Queen Ismene sits on her throne with Christy standing next to her.

Bryer and Tash, the Trink leaders of the Trink's Castle.

"Our castle was destroyed while in Vardemas reign. We have 100 Trink soldiers." Bryer told the Elder Queen Ismene.

"Do you have 100 more of your Trink soldiers?" Elder Queen Ismene asked.

"We do, Your Highness Ismene." Tash replied.

"We The Elders will provide you with repairs to your castle." Elder Queen Ismene said.

Bryer and Tash bows their heads and walks away.

Elder Queen Ismene looks at her niece, Christy. "Christiana?"

Christy crouches down to Elder Queen Ismene. "Aunt Ismene?"

"Whatever is going on between you and Klaus, I hope that you both seek reconciliation." Elder Queen Ismene said.

"You and my Mom talk, huh?" Christy said.

"We do." Elder Queen Ismene said. "You are dismissed."

Christy gets up and bows at her Aunt Ismene and walks down the steps and walks away, walking out of the throne room.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, in the courtyard, Elijah and Christy sits on the lounge sofa chairs.

"I appreciate you visiting and coming to see me. I assure you that I'm alright." Elijah reassured Christy.

"Well, I had to see myself you're okay, Elijah." Christy said.

Elijah and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. Her small smiles fade away upon seeing Klaus.

"I'll see you guys later." Christy said, getting up.

"Christy, please?" Elijah said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other. And she golden-dust teleported away.

"She will come around, Niklaus." Elijah said.

"Will she?" Klaus said.

Klaus and Elijah exchange looks at each other.

"She will." Elijah said.
