The next day, Christy lays in her hospital bed, sedated, in her patient room with Klaus sits by her bedside.

Klaus looks at the wall-mounted hologram TV. It has channel and commercial ads, gently holding Christy's hand.

Christy gently squeezes her husband's, Klaus's, hand. Klaus looks at her and she weakly looks at him.

"Hi." Christy said weakly.

"Hello." Klaus said.

"Where am I?" Christy asked.

"You're at the medical center. You've been comatose for two days." Klaus tells her.

"I have?" Christy asked.

"Yeah." Klaus said.

"Vardemas?" Christy asked.

"Don't concern yourself with her right now, just focus on recovery." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Do you remember anything?" Klaus asked.

"Me and Vardemas had this fight. She transformed into his big Hornet and I transformed into my Fawkes form. She was tense." Christy explained.

"You were hurt badly, we thought you weren't gonna make it." Klaus said. "You scared the hell out of us."

"Sorry." Christy apologized.

"It's okay, Love. Just relieved that you're alive and will be okay." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He pecks a kiss on her knuckles.

Klaus looks at the window blinds. Christy follows his gaze at her parents, Elder King Ames and Elder Queen Nadia is outside of their daughter's, Christy's, patient room.

Christy small waves at her parents. Ames and Nadia small waves back at their daughter with small smiles.

Later that day, Christy is sitting upright in her hospital bed, eating a tray of food and a bottle of water.

"Did you and Elijah defeat Annalisa?" Christy asked.

Klaus looks worried. "Not yet."

"What happened?" Christy asked.

"Annalisa tricked me into something." Klaus said.

"What did you do?" Christy asked.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and he tells her.

"First, Annalisa was scheming with Marcalos." Klaus tells her.

"And second?" Christy asked.

"Annalisa tricked me into hurting Ivy and Josh." Klaus told her. "She threatened to kill them, but then, she turned it around to where Elijah, Rebekah and Kol got in trouble."

"So, you hurt Ivy and Josh because Annalisa told you too?" Christy said.

"I didn't know how to tell you. It was Annalisa's doing, but it was Marcalos's evil scheme." Klaus told her.

Christy doesn't say anything processing what her husband has told her.

"Say something. Please?" Klaus said, with a concerned look on his face.

"Are Ivy and Josh okay?" Christy asked.

"Ivy was revived by the Golden Fleece and Josh was cured from my hybrid bite with my blood that Marcel had." Klaus said. "Ivy and Josh will be okay."

"Even though, I'm a little mad, you were tricked into doing a bad thing, so, you're good." Christy reassured him.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. A gentle knock is on the door and gently opens.

Zenith, Thalia, Max, Gia and Ana slowly walks into Christy's patient room.

"Hey, you guys." Christy said.

"Hey, Christy." Ana said. "Luna and Trinity and the kids sends their sincere regards."

"How are you feeling?" Zenith asked.

"I'm a little bit weak, but other than that, I'm okay." Christy reassured them all. "What happened to Vardemas?"

Zenith, Thalia and Max exchange worried looks at each other.

Which Christy notices. "Zenith? Thalia? Max? What's going on?"

"While you were comatose and hospitalized, Vardemas took your crown and proclaimed herself "Queen Vardemas. She threatened the Orasanian citizens if they didn't kneel to her, she was going to have her Salvadorian swordsmen bodyguards kill them." Thalia told her.

"What about The Elders?" Christy asked.

"They allowed Vardemas, but Vardemas thinks you're still comatose." Zenith told her.

"So, the Elders came up with a plan; to allow Vardemas to become Queen and rule over the Orasanian citizens?" Christy said.

"Yeah." Max said.

"The Handmaiden Assistants?" Christy asked.

"Vardemas threatened them too, if they didn't serve her, she would kill them herself." Thalia said.

"How do you guys know of this?" Klaus asked.

"Theseus and Andriani told us. The Orasanian Guardsmen and Guardswomen talk among themselves too, as well as the palace housekeepers and housemaids." Max told.

"So, we're pretty much screwed?" Gia asked.

"Yeah, pretty much." Thalia said.

"And according to Theseus, you can't go back to the palace for your own protection." Max said.

"So, Mount Orasani is in deep trouble with Vardemas and she has a small army of silver-masked swordsmen?" Christy said.

"Yeah, she does." Max said.

Nurse Doctor Giannis slowly walks into Christy's patient room. "Hello."

"Hi, Giannis." Christy said.

"Alright then. We'll see you later, Christy." Ana said.

"Okay, and you guys be careful." Christy said.

"We will." Ana said. "It's good to have you back, Christy. It's been dull without you."

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. And everyone walks away.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Klaus? I'll be fine." Christy said.

"Alright, I'll be with Ames and Nadia." Klaus said.

"Okay." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy shares a passionate kiss and he gets up and walks away.

Nurse Doctor Giannis looks at Christy. "I assume that you've been filled in on everything, Lady Christiana."

"Yeah, I have." Christy said.

"It is good to have you back." Nurse Doctor Giannis said.

"Me too." Christy said.

- Third POV -; HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- PALACE GUARD HOUSE

Later that late afternoon, Klaus, Zenith Thalia Max, Gia and Ana are with Dementrio, Serafine and Interpol Agent Jun Lee in the bullpen main room with Theseus.

"According to The Elders, they want Vardemas to think that Christiana is still hospitalized and in her comatose condition, but we know she is not." Theseus said. "Vardemas herself, has become jealous and envious of Christiana's fame and glory. What we need to do is keep this to ourselves, at least, until Christiana has fully recovered."

"So, what do we do in the meantime?" Jun Lee asked.

"In the meantime, we pretend like Christiana is braindead, and need I remind you all, this is The Elders plan until Vardemas has been dealt with." Theseus told him.

"We understand, Theseus." Klaus said. "We all do."

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- MEDICAL CENTER

Klaus slowly walks into Christy's patient room and sees her sleep. He gently closes the door behind him and slowly walks over to the window blinds and peeks out through them.

Christy stirs awake and looks at her husband. "Hey, Klaus."

Klaus looks at his wife and small smiles at her. "Hi."

"You look cute in the sunlight." Christy playfully teased him with a small smile.

Klaus lightly chuckles to himself. "I appreciate the compliment."

"What's going on?" Christy asked.

"According to Theseus, The Elders wants Vardemas to still think that you're still in your comatose condition." Klaus tells her.

"All part of The Elders plan until I'm at full recovery." Christy said.

Klaus nodded. "Yeah."

"Well, I'm done with my checkups by Nurse Doctor Giannis, so, I will be discharged soon." Christy said.

"That's some good news." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her and gently sits down on the bedside. "Luna and Trinity are eager to see you."

"I'm eager to see them too." Christy said, and gently sits upright in bed.

Klaus and Christy exchange soft looks at each other. They gently holds each other's hands.

"It's good to see you." Klaus said.

"It's good to see you too, Klaus." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a passionate kiss.

That night, in the kitchen, Christy, Luna and Trinity sits at the kitchen countertop with a plate of mango peach slices.

"Are you sure you're okay, Mom?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Christy replied.

"Mount Orasani is in trouble." Trinity said.

"Yeah, I know everything from Zenith, Thalia and Max." Christy said.

Klaus slowly walks into the kitchen.

"Hey, Dad." Luna said.

"Hello, sweetheart." Klaus said.

"Klaus? Can we talk?" Christy asked, slowly walks away and into the foyer.

Klaus slowly walks after Christy. "Christy?"

Christy looks at her husband, Klaus. "I need to go back to New Orleans."

"I had a feeling that you were going to talk about it." Klaus said.

"You have to go back to New Orleans and finish what you started with Annalisa." Christy said.

"I know." Klaus said.

Christy gently cups Klaus's face with her hands. "You and I both have our hands full of trouble. You and Elijah have to deal with Annalisa before she comes up with something else. You and Elijah have to finish this tension with Annalisa."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she gently removes her hands from his face.

"I need to go back to New Orleans in the morning, Klaus. I'll be right here when you get back." Christy said.

"Alright." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He pecks a kiss on her forehead. She chuckles softly and gently puts her thumb on his chin and lowers her hand.

"I'll see you when you get back." Christy said.

"See you when I return." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy shares a passionate kiss and he walks away. Luna and Trinity are at the kitchen doorframe. Christy looks at them and slowly walks over to her daughters.

"Where's Dad going, Mom?" Trinity asked.

"Your father is going back to New Orleans to help your Uncle Elijah with something." Christy said.
