Selena sneaked our and grabbed her bike, she was quick to pedal away following the bright blue and red lights along with the loud sirens.

She peddled through figure till the sirens grew louder and she finally saw a crowd of people. They seemed to be looking around so that was a good sign

John B was still out there.

She peddled slowly were a car alarm was going off and a blonde bumped into her

"Hey."

"Hi. Have they found the guy yet"

"No but I heard he's this way, come on." The blonde ran towards Shem creek.

She wanted to follow her but her gut told her something else, she remembered something John B had said to her

I'm the Pogue life, we also follow our gut

She sighed before turning back and peddling towards the bell tower.

Her whole body was exhausted from the day she had but she kept peddling faster not realizing that someone was watching her.

She dropped her bike and ran inside the tower she tripped over something causing the object to fall and make a loud thud.

She climbed up the rusty ladder and open the little door leading into the room they one had fun in.

She was caught by suprise when she opened the door and John B stood there ready to hit someone with something gold in his hand.

"Hi." She breathed out happily and Johnny eye's widened

"Hey, What are you-"

"Oh my god." She laughed lightly embracing him in a hug

"I though I'd never see you again." He grinned wrapping his arms around her waist "are you okay." He asked pulling away.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She reassured before pulling into a soft kiss. Of course this moment was too good to be true so something had to ruin it

"What are you doing here top?" John B yelled protectively hiding Selena behind his back

"Hey, just take it easy man." Topper whispered climbing into the room with them.

"Don't fucking move." John B mumbled over his greeted teeth

"Please, I just need to talk to Selena." He held his hands up in surrender

"What the hell do you want topper." She asked

" it's not too smart, is it, meeting up with a fugitive like this?" Topper said cockily " hey. I'm not... I'm not... I'm not gonna do anything, alright? What are you gonna do, kill me too?"

"Heidi Christ topper, seriously! What do you want. He didn't kill anyone." Selena yelled

"Listen, listen, he literally brainwashing you Selena-"

"No he's not, is as there!"

"Snap out of it!" He said "Everybody he's up here! Come get him!" Topper began to ring the bell and John H lunged at him

"Topper stop! Stop!"

"Shut up!" John B grabbed him pinning him to the wall.

"He's up here." Topper shouted one last tome

"Shut your mouth!"

"Alright!"

"Topper knock in off!"

"You done." John B stepped back slightly but not to far

"I'm sorry." Topper mumbled "we're good just take it easy. Selena I warned you about these Pogue's."

"He's innocent!"

"Then who did it Selena."

"Rafe."

"What are you talking about."

"Why would I Say my own brother did it if it wasn't true, I was there topper."

"Don't lie to me Selena."

"Sheriff Peterkin was trying to arrest Ward and then Rafe shot her."

"No."

"Topper he is sadly my brother and we're talking about murder, why would I lie. And you already how honest I can be."

Topper looked down in disbelief, he wanted to believe her but he couldn't, Rafe was one of his bestfriend.

The sirens that once were a little noice In the background grew louder and soon they were outside of the bell tower.

"Shit." John B mumbled walking to the window to reveal the blue and red sirens the 2 teens hated

"We gotta go." Selena said grabbing his arm

"Selena you don't realize that I'm the one who loves. I always have-"

"Listen, I don't care! Do you understand what's going on right now!? Not everything can be about you, I'm sorry it has to be this way but we don't have tile to discuss this."

"Selena we gotta go." John mumbled his breaths getting shorter the Kong's they stayed in that church

"Selena you don't understand that he doesn't love like I do! I know that I use to date Sarah but I have always had my eye out for you. I really love you!" Topper argued, Selena head began to spin due to all the pressure of the situation

and John B mom mente away from getting out in jail for something he didn't do.

"Jesus, just, shit up. You wanna probe your love to me, please do me said favor."

"Anything, anything i can do to prove it."

"John take off your jacket." Selena mumbled

"What?"

"Take it off and hand it to topper." She explained

"Oooh, okay." John B realized and slipped of the jacket and gave it to the blonde

"Put it on."

"Alright, Yeah, of course." He stumbled to our it on and but he succeeded

"Let's go!" John B mumbled opening the door

"I'm sorry Top." Selena muttered pulling him into a hug

"Me too."

"Let's go." She pulled away quickly climbing down the ladder to reveal a huge fire engulfing the building

"Oh fuck."

"C'mon." John B shouted up as she jumped down topper not far behind. The ran out the back door as topper walked out the front coughing due to the smoke.

John and Sarah escapes by a single hair

"We did it." Selena grinned

"Yeah we did." John chuckled grabbing her hand and running into the forest.

He had no idea were he was going but he knew it The cops were all surrounding the church so the coast was clear

Selena on the other hand had an idea.

"Follow me." She whispered running towards a empty road the led into a small neighborhood. A few of the houses were owned by Rose so they were empty and safe.

"Are you sure this place in safe?"

"Yeah, it's belongs to Rose. It's empty." She reassured running to the porch and noticing the lock, lucky she knew the code "wards birthday." She mumbled and punched in the code.

It was unlocked and she let out a sigh of relief but he breath hitched as a officers voice was heard in the distance

"Shit, hurry." She mumbled pushing the boy under the house. They hid behind the door inches away from a small window that could possibly get them caught

"Nothin here." One Officer said

"Check the porch."

"I got his one, you check the other one."

"Okay, will do."

"Sh." John placed his finger on his lips signaling for her to be more quite since she was breath very heavy due to all the running and her nerves.

A light flashed through the window along with a knock. Selena has to over her mouth as the door handled raddled sending chills down her spine.

"Nothing here, he's probably headed over tot he cut." The Officer gave up and Selena finally let out her breath

"Let's go, come on let's go, upstairs." John B mumbled grabbing her hand.

She nodded standing up and following him up the stairs into a room were they could hide in a closet.

They wandered around the room looking out the window due to the blue and red lights.

"This way." Rafe's voice shouted at Kelce

"I can't believe that's my brother." Selena sighed

"There're headed to the cut." Rafe said his voice slightly muffled due to how far he was front when house

"Let's go down banks road." Kelce ordered running after his friend Selena rubbed her head and felt arms wrap around her waist

"Hey, it's alright." John mumbled kissing her head

"We should get some sleep." Selena requested grabbing the blankets and pillows from the bed and placing them into the closet.

They slid closed the closet door and finally For the first time in 2 days.

The roof of the closet had little stars forming into the Big Dipper. Selena smiled at the sight

"Wow."

"Cool right."

"Yeah. Hey did you Uh, know, the bottom 2 stars in the Little Dipper point to-"

"The North Star." They said at the same time

"Yeah." Selena giggled "That's the centerpoint, everything spins around it."

The noises outside caused John B to tense up and immediately go into panic mode. His breath got quicker and he sat up.

"Hey, calm down, it's okay, it's okay." Selena calmed him down placing her hand on his chest and pushing him back down next to her

"Sorry." He mumbled

"It's okay, I've got you."

"Could you, could you remind me of the happy ending?"

"We're Going to meet the crew at the dock tomorrow,You're gonna have to get away boat-"

"Then we go to Mexico." John B finished

"Mmhmm."

"And you're gonna be a fishing instructor."

"Your damn right."

"And then I will open up a little bakery we're I'll bake little cakes everyday. then we buy a house on the beach we're we watch the sunset and sunrise everyday. With a dog and a boat, we'll remake the pogue and everything gonna be okay." She explained till John B's eye's closed and he drifted off to sleep.

Selena on the other hand was up a little longer, keeping guard and making up a plan. She decided that the next morning she was gonna explain everything to the cops. She was tired of the constant threat every time they even thought they found John B.

So she was gonna tell the truth about
