𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬
𝘼𝙬𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝘽

The couple arrived at the run-down church that was probably abandoned years ago due to the paint chipping of the roof and the graffiti littered all over the walls

"You trust me?" John B asked

"Is this my official initiation?" Selena giggled

"Noo, come on." He grabbed her hand leading her to the side of the building

"Okay, okay, I'm coming."

"You ready for this?" He asked stopping in front of a door and Selena exhaled a large breath

"More then ever."

"Check it out." John said widening his arm to show case the beauty of the dusty interior.

"Yeah, it's actually really beautiful."

"Yeah, my....uh....my dad use to come here as a kid."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, he said it was relic from the old island." John informed

"Ooh, an antique?"

"Yeah something like that." John sighed thinking of his dad "Before all the condos and the development." He listed as Selena's attention went to a bell at the top of the building

"Oh that's the bell tower, they use to ring the bells when the boats would come in."

"There?" She asked pointing up

"Yep." He followed the curious brunette grabbing  a few candles on the way

"Can we go up?" She questioned

"Yeah, oh wait! Let me go up first, you know, sort it out type of thing." He said climbing up the rotten wooden latter "rats and whatnot."

"Mhm." Selena hummed in response

Once John secured the roof he called for Selena to come up and she quickly climbed up the latter as John helped her with at the last few steps with his un-injured arm

"Oh, watch your head." He mumbled pulling her up "It's pretty cool, right?" He asked looking around

"Yeah." She smiled

"Check this out." He leaned against the wooden wall that's as right next to the window and in the was the words

"Awww is that little B John." Selena giggled

"Yep, I was, 10 at the time. It's me and my dad." John slightly frowned but Selena squeezed his hand

"Hey come over here." He whispered walking towards another window as Selena followed closely behind slightly tugging the rope causing a small ring to come form the giant bell

"You ready for this?"

"I don't know."

John quickly opened the window and there was the beautiful view of the outerbanks. the horizons perfectly split between pink and yellow

"Wow, the outerbanks, it truly is the paradise on earth." She smiled at the calm view of the island

"Pretty cool huh."

"Why do I get the feeling I'm not the only girl who you have brought up here." She faces the brunette a small smile forming onto her lips

"You think I bring all my random hookups to my secret spot."

"I don't know what you do with all your random hookups, and I don't really wanna know." She giggled slightly making a disgusted face at the thought

"Mm, first time."

"Okay this might sound a little morbid, but I had a lot of fun today."

"Enjoying life outside the bubble-wrap?" He asked

"And I got to spend more time with my favorite person." Wrapped her around his neck as he leaned in slowly

The butterflies Irrupted in her stomach as they kissed even though this wasn't there first, it still felt like a fantasy

But knots quickly builded up in her gut as she realized the kiss to John B was very hungry and desperate, she panicked and placed her hand in his chest slightly pushing him away

"Um-" she stuttered not wanting to make it awkward

"Hey."

"No, no, umm....."

"Sorry, I-"

"No, I, uh feel like I should warn you. When it came to this with boys I get very scared, I guess, it's just-"

"Maybe we should stop."

"Okay."

"Hey, it's okay, I promise."

"Thanks." She grinned and sat in a near by box

"Hey I have a question."

"Shoot away."

"Ha-......have you ever....-"

"Yeah, a couple times, why that freak you out?" She chuckled

"No, actually."

"I mean, a lot of guys try, but I usually turn them down. But yeah I actually a few times."

"I sure you have had plenty of chances."

"I remember how scared I was, the last time I did it, it went horrible." Her expression dropped

"What do you mean?"He chuckled lightly and she bit her lips a few tears threatening to come out

"Promise you won't be mad?"

"Yeah, I promise, what happened." He realized it was seriously and he frowned a bit

"I....uh....well...um, I got........pregnant." She said tears running down her face "and I had to abort it, it still hurts, sometimes I can hear it calling out. 'Mommy mommy why did you leave me' " she cried as John took her into a tight hug

"Hey it's okay, it's okay." He ran his finger down her her and lifted her chin up to look at him

"It's alright, I'm not mad, you see happy." He smiled and Selena chuckled lightly wiping her tears

"Thank you, so much Johnny." She pecked his lips

"Yeah, of course." He smiled widely as he held her tightly to her chest

"Hey was it special for you?"

"What do you mean."

"You know, your first." She giggled

"Oh, yeah, it was super special. She was a girl form Cincinnati, we met at a party, and minutes into it she just.......asked."

"Ooh, she a straight shooter."

"Yeah. And uh we went back to her condo and it lasted a total of 25 seconds." She finsished

"25? Wow, marathon. You and JJ probably high-fives after that."

"No, actually, I felt like shit." He admitted

"Aww." Her expression softened and she squeezed his hand "thank you."

"For what?"

"For actually being cool about me not wanting to do it."

"Oh, yeah, of course. We'll wait till your ready."

"Yeah?" She chuckled

"Yeah." He smiled and she pulled on his bandana causing him to lean forward. She smiled and closed the gap between them into a soft kiss. At first he was surprised but soon melted into the kiss.

Laid back causing her to move forward so there were on top of each other

"You sure?" He asked

"100%." She smiled blowing the candle out

The couple sneak inside the Cameron mansion as it was pretty late and everyone is asleep. Selena and John B went into there own rooms and laid down on the comfortable bed soon drifting off into sleep.

Hours later an alarm went off meaning that it was time for John to get ready because he still had to go fishing with Ward.

He quietly got ready and quickly walkeddown the stairs into Selena's room. He slowly laid on the bed wrapping a arm around her waist causing her to shuffle and open her eye's

"Hi, I'm leaving." He whispered and she gave him a quick kiss

"Bye." She mumbled

"Bye." Selena pouted slightly when his warmth was lifted off her as he left her room. She still was tired so it was no problem going straight back to sleep.

Selena woke up pretty late it was already 1:30 and she fluttered her eyes open as a yawn escaped her lips. She stood up and do her little stench before walking out to the bathroom, she washed her face and teeth before practically running up the stairs into John B's room only to be met by a empty bed.

She was very confused because they should've been back by now, she shrugged it off and walked back downstairs to eat.

"There she is." Sarah smiled

"Hey." She giggled

"Sooo, what were you and John B doing so late last night."

"What do mean." She asked pulling out strawberries and walking to the sink

"Oh c'mon don't act dumb, last night you and John came home at like 1:00!"

"Okay we were out, doing stuff." She said Hesitantly while washing the strawberries and placing them on the counter

"What type of stuff?"

"You know, things couple do." She winked biting the fruit in her hand

"Did you do it!?" She chuckled

"Do what?" Wheezie questioned walking into the kitchen

"Nothing double E, when your older you'll understand." Selena replied glaring at Sarah

"Whatever." She mumbled grabbing a strawberry from the basket Selena was eating out off

"Hey speaking on John B, have you seen him?" Selena asked

"No, wasn't he out fishing with dad?" Sarah replied

"Yeah, but he left at like 3 am, I don't think it should take 10 hours to go fishing."

"Hmm weird, ask rose." Sarah shrugged

"I will." Selena replied anxiously walking into the office Rose usually hanged out in

"Hey Rose."

"What."

"Have you seen dad or John B?"

"No, I've been working all day Selena, so can you close the door and leave me alone."

"Okay, okay." She rolled her eye's closing the door behind her

Maybe he was out with the Pogue's and will return later. Or he just outside int he garden, or in the pool.

She ran out it the backyard but still no sign of her boyfriend

"Where the hell are you." She whispered as a car approached and she ran back inside the house excitement replacing her anxiety

"John?" She said as her father walked through the door but no John "hey dad where John?"

"Sweetie listen to me, I need you to go up to your room, please."

"Why, where is he."

" listen, we were on the boat just talking and then he began talking crazy about me killing his dad or something. Then he stabbed me! do you want to see it!" raised his voice

"What, no. What do you mean."

"you don't want to get involved with this sweetie, now go to your room."

"No, tell me whats going on."

"go to your room, now!" He yelled

"Okay." She flinched walking up the stairs to her room.

Her hands where shaking as she opened the door to her room, she pulled the drawer handle and quickly Grabbed her headphones out.

She placed each one in her ear and played soft music to calm her nerves. She had Small tears prickly in her eyes begging to be unleashed but she held them back grabbing her journal, she never admitted it but she would always write down her thoughts and feelings which usually helps with the anxiety.

She probably was writing for hours because once he's looked up the stars shine bright in the sky and the moon was beaming down on the room. Her door open causing her to look up and there was her boyfriend. She smiled till she noticed the gun in his hand.

"John, why do you have a gun?"

"Did you tell Ward about the gold."

"Where are you getting that from?"

"Answer the question."

"No." She said in a soft but terrified voice

"Then how'd he know? Hm." He asked through his graded teeth and Selena whimpered mortified of the boy "answer the question." He kicked forward grabbing her wrist

"John B please stop your scaring me." She breathes heavily

"Is life outside the bubble wrap scary for you?"

"Selena!" Ward shouted was John B Signal for her to be quiet by placing my finger on his lips. He grabbed her hand and pulled her outside the window.

"Where are you taking me." She asked still scared

"Somewhere where we can talk."

"Selena!" Rose voice faintly shouted as John groaned in frustration

" John B, look at me, breath, what's going on." She asked calmly placing each hand on his cheek

"Your dad, killed my father."

"What? What do you mean."

"I need you to listen to me. I think they were working to find the royal merchant together. There was some sort of conflict and nobody knows what happened to my dad other than scoote Grubbs." He explained and of course Selena's first instinct was denial

"No, it can't be, are you sure, like actually. Because this is not something to joke about." She stuttered

"Selena." Ward shouted

"He tried to kill me Selena, on the boat." He said seriously

"He wouldn't hurt anyone, John please tell me your lying."

"Selena, I'm not, just please." He had tears running down his face and Selena chewed on her lip

"He told me you stabbed him-"

" what are you talking about? He killed my father!"

"I- I don't understand." She whimpered "he-he killed your dad?"

"Yes, Selena, please."

"I'm sorry, I love you so much." She cried giving him a quick kiss

"Selena."

"I'm sorry." She cried running from behind the bush

"Ward she's here!" Rose shouted hugging the girl as she stared at the boy behind the plant she mouthed one last I love you before she was forced inside the mansion

Her thoughts were all over the place. She hand no idea who to believe in

Nattie speaking:
So what are you thinking? How's the story so far I'm enjoy writing it , but I want to know what you guys feel about it.

Sometimes the Outer Banks stories or any Netflix-based stories are annoying to write because I have to keep switching from Wattpad to Netflix. I write on my phone so I have to do that which sucks because I'm a perfectionist and want every single line to be exactly right

I'm actually really sad but also excited to finish the story because I'm working on a new one right after this one. I've been wanting to work on it for a long time but I wanted to wait until I finish the story to start it can you guess what it is?
