"So like, you want me to come with you to the 4PM bookstacks to find out more about Hanako-kun? Also, how come you're willing to have an adventure after getting in trouble?" Yashiro asked while cleaning up her pencils to put them in her pencil case.

[Name] shrugged. "Yes and, it was only for one day—they let me get off the hook. Anyways do you want to come with me?"

"Sure!"

"Great. Meet me by the library later before 4:30 PM because I will be asking Kou-kun to see if he can go too." [Name] gave her bestfriend a thumbs up before heading out to find Kou. He could be anywhere in the building but in two certain places, either on the rooftop or guarding the girl's bathroom to try and fight Hanako.

And she was right about the last part because when she got to the third floor girl's bathroom, Kou was there and he was arguing with a teacher. [Name] decided to approach them to get to know the situation. "Minamoto-kun, my dudes, is there something wrong?" [Name] asked as she was getting closer to them.

Kou's eyes seemed to light up at the sight of his senior coming to save him from this evil entity known as his teacher (half-jokingly) "Senpai! Good timing." Kou quickly hid behind [Name], glaring at his teacher. "It's this guy! He's my homeroom teacher, and he's being mean to me." Kou explained as he narrowed his eyes.

"Oh? L/n? I didn't know you two are accquainted with one another."

"Sensei—didn't expect you'd be here." Y/n nervously chuckled while rubbing the back of her head. "Um, did Kou-kun do something?"

"Oh no, I just had a bit of favor to ask him." Tsuchigomori replied.

"And what is that favor?"

"I was hoping he would stop going into the girl's restroom." [Name] made a sound of realization and as for Kou, he was being a hissy fit. "We're getting complaints from our female students."

"But I'm doing it to protect the students!" Kou defended, then turning to look at [Name] to get some support. "Right [Name]-senpai?" [Name] inhaled and clapped her hands together knowing that she needed to back up the version of his story but then again—Tsuchigomori has a point.

"I hate to break it to you son, but I do see that you're trying to protect the students from the bathroom and knowing that I am aware of your intentions, it may not be the same for others and they will think that you're a weirdo for a guy who goes into the girl's bathroom." [Name] explained calmly in hopes that Kou will understand.

"I'll report you to your guardian." Tsuchigomori added.

"No!" Kou whined while holding the sides of his head. "No...not you too Senpai...and Hanako's not even here, how am I supposed to keep my promise to Teru-nii...?" [Name] was a little curious about Kou's agreement with Teru and she could tell it has definitely something to do with Hanako, and speaking of Hanako, he's not here.

"Wait—Hanako's not here? I just talked to him a while ago." [Name] tilted her head in confusion. Kou pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and showed it to [Name], indicating that he saw the note minutes ago. The note has a drawing of a Godzilla monster breathing fire to two stick figures with small doodles around it. "I'm off to a meeting?" [Name] red.

"A meeting? [Surname]-san, what time is it?!" Tsuchigomori asked in a panicked state.

"A little after four."

"I have a meeting at four, Minamoto-kun please stop going to the girl's restroom!" Tsuchigomori reminded him as he went away to attend some meeting. [Name] thought it was weird because Hanako had a meeting and Tsuchigomori also had a meeting, if she put two and two together meaning—

'Right, I have to ask Minamoto-kun!' [Name] composed herself before turning to look at the blonde haired junior. "Minamoto-kun, do you want to go to the 4PM bookstacks with me and Yashiro, we're trying to get some information about Hanako-kun and knowing that place it has all records of the students who went to school here."

"Sure, Senpai!"

"Great!" [Name] clapped her hands. "Nene is probably waiting for us by the library so we're going straight there." And soon, Kou and [Name] started to make their way to the library. While they were at it, [Name] started to tell Kou about how she got in trouble after beating the shit out of two girls who talked shit about her two lady friends and as punishment she had to clean the bathroom with Ezura which she disliked—sounds familiar from another book, right?

Meanwhile, in another perspective, Teru and Emi were walking through the hallways carrying worksheets for their class since their teacher already checked them so they have to hand it to the owners. "Minamoto-kun, how are you so good in Pre-Calculus?" Emi asked while looking at Teru's paper on hand. "Like, I know you do part time jobs and shit but this is just something..."

"Yet you say you're smart enough to do homework." Teru says with a smug. Emi rolled her eyes as they continued to walk with a bit of banter there and there. The green haired girl noticed [Name] walking with Kou, so she decided to become playful for a little bit.

Emi held the papers on one arm so that she could release her free hand. Just as [Name] was about to approach, she puts a hand on Teru's shoulder and pushed him close to [Name]. "Oh shit—sorry I thought it's a fly!" Emi whistled. Teru bumps against [Name] causing the latter to trip and Kou was surprised on what's happening.

"Teru-nii?!" Kou exclaimed.

"Oi what the fuck—" [Name] was about to fall flat on the ground until Teru grabbed both of her shoulders to prevent her from falling. Emi's eyes widened in shock, covering her mouth at the beautiful sight of her plan getting to work. [Name] stood still as she looked at Teru's icy blue eyes, she didn't know whether it was fear that made her heart race or is it because their faces are now closer to one another.

Teru winced. "Are you okay? I'm sorry—Sukuro-san is just being..." Teru glanced at Emi who was giving him a thumbs up and Kou doesn't know what's happening in front of him. "Herself..." He sighed.

"It's fine, but be careful next time." [Name] dusted off her shoulder after Teru had released her. She's confused as to why Emi suddenly pushed Teru towards her, is there meaning about that? Emi was known to joke a lot so it's understandable if she did that to Teru as a joke. "How about you Minamoto-senpai, are you alright?"

"I'm fine~" Teru replied with imaginary sparkles all over him to convey that there is nothing wrong.

Kou stared at Teru with a blank expression. "Nii-chan do you like—mmph!" Teru immediately covered his little brother's mouth to interrupt him from continuing his question. "Senpai! I'm going to catch up to you, go ahead to the library! I'll go talk to Teru-nii!" [Name] nodded as she bid farewell and headed to the direction of the library. What a weird day that has been.

"So this is Minamoto-senpai's younger brother, how come I don't see him that often?" Emi questioned while pointing at Kou. Teru explained that his younger brother is from the Middle School department and that you don't see him that much in the Highschool building unless Teru asks him to, but recently he's been going to the Highschool Department lately. "I wish I had a sibling like him, my little sister literally messes up her own life decisions and that we're not this close."

"Nii-chan, do you perhaps have a crush [Name]-senpai?" Kou questions with an innocent smile on his face. Teru hits him with his clipboard with a small smile on his face. "O-Ow, Nii-chan what was that for?!" Kou whined while holding the crown of his head in pain.

"Don't question such things, Kou." Teru replied. Kou had completely forgotten that he has to meet up with [Name] and Yashiro by the library to find the Four o'clock Library. Kou had to bid farewell to his brother along with Emi before running to the direction to where the library is. "Jeez, seeing you interact with Kou makes me nervous that you're going to tell him."

"Well—I was gonna tell him but I didn't because you hogged him away from me."

"Thank you, I hope you get a boyfriend."

"I don't even want one."

"Girlfriend then?"

"I like the concept of romance and relationships but I don't want to experience it."

Meanwhile, Kou arrived just in time as he walked in to [Name] and Yashiro searching for books that could maybe trigger the Four o'clock Library, or maybe the chosen ones get to see it. "Sorry for dragging you two here, I figured that it's better to go with friends rather than getting bored of finding books here." Kou was astonished on how many books are inside the library as if he never been inside that much.

"No sweat, [Name]-senpai!"

"Yeah, that's what friends are for."

[Name] smiled at the two before pulling another book to see if there's something going to happen. "Anyways, did you guys know that there's a part of the library where it is haunted by one of the members of the library committee?" Yashiro asked while putting back the book she recently pulled. "Aoi told me about it but she thinks that the rumors died long ago because nobody was talking about it anymore, there are specific steps to summon the ghost but it was forgotten."

"I think I know what you're talking about Senpai!" Kou's eyes light up. "My Dad mentions that there's a ghost around here but it was decades ago when it was last seen." As Kou and Yashiro were gossiping, [Name] suddenly reminisced that she had her fair share of memories in the library as well.

Like that one time where [Name] and Souho went to the library to "review" for their quizzes but ended up talking instead. But when it was time for them to leave, Souho carried her bag on the way to the entrance of the library and just as [Name] reached for the door—Yamabuki, Akane and Fuji were there witnessing the two of them together. Basically that's how everyone in class found out that she and Souho have something together.

And that one time where [Name] directly told Souho to lay on her shoulder even though PDA is not allowed in the library (no one gave a fuck that day). He even claimed that they looked like a couple even though they weren't technically together yet. [Name] slammed the book against her head for suddenly remembering her moments with Souho. "Focus [Name] —we're here to search for Hanako-kun's book."

"[Name]-chan are you alright?" Yashiro asked.

"Does your head hurt, Senpai?" Kou added with a worried tone.

"I'm fine." [Name] clarified.

"You said that you were searching for Hanako-kun's book in there right?" Yashiro smiled at [Name] as she leaned against the bookshelves. [Name] nodded, she wanted to check her book first before finding Hanako's.

"I'd like to know more about Hanako too." Kou mentioned while putting back some books on the bookshelves. He rubbed his head sheepishly. "I realized that I actually don't know about him. So I thought it might not be right to exorcise him just cause he's an apparition."

Yashiro opened her mouth to speak before [Name] raised her palm to interrupt her friend. "No no, he's got a point." [Name] grabbed Kou's hands which made his heart skip a beat. "Minamoto-kun, we share the same braincells sometimes and I officially announce that you're my favorite kouhai. Let's do our best~!" She cheered.

Then, a butterfly passed through, catching [Name]'s attention since it looks kind of odd. "You guys know about the butterfly effect?" [Name] questioned as she followed the butterfly till it landed on the spine of a book with a spider web imprinted on it.

Yashiro vigorously nodded. "Small things, bigger change?" Kou answered in a questionable manner. [Name] remembered the butterfly effect because of watching a certain concept theory on one of the kpop groups she listened to (you know what it is if you're an old army) and it states that your small actions can cause a bigger impact in the future.

It's like going to the past as a time traveler and you suddenly kick on a rock then it alters the whole timeline after that.

Smoke began to appear out of nowhere that the group stepped back to cough and fan their faces. The smoke eventually cleared out to reveal a big door with a butterfly on it. "Could this be the Four o'clock Library?" [Name] wondered before putting a hand by the handle. The three of them opened the door slowly, peeking through to see its dark surroundings. Once it was fully opened, they were greeted with the sight of the bigger version of the school's library.

There were thick cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, the bookshelves, even the books. The small lanterns were the only source of light in this place. [Name] was not surprised anymore when she saw the water on the ground. Knowing that this place is one of the seven wonders of the school, it's obvious that this place is going to be a boundary. "Wow!" Yashiro said.

"Another boundary." Kou looked around the place, holding his staff in case there's something dangerous going to pop out of nowhere. "This border is between this life and the next. We better watch out."

"It's so dark. I barely see shit." One of the mokkes handed [Name] a lantern for her to use. She thanked the mokke and went on their way. "White books are for the living and the black books are for the dead ones, do not read the red ones."

"So Hanako's book should be black." Kou concluded. "Alright, let's get looking."

"Wait—if I remembered correctly, the library consist records of students who went to school here, we can only assume that the black ones are for the supernaturals unless theirs are red, then there goes your problem." [Name] scanned the bookshelves, then deadpanned. "Now the real problem is, how are we going to find Hanako-kun's book here?"

"Hoard every black books in this library and pile em up for us to scan?"

"Chaotic but it would be difficult to clean them up after."

Kou snapped with a big smile on his face. "If we can see a passage where the person becomes Hanako written in the book then we got our prize!" The three nodded in agreement as they scattered around the area to search for black books. [Name] pulled out a black book from the shelves, it seems that the books were arranged in alphabetical order that indicates the names of the students that went to school here.

Then again, how come the black books aren't in one shelf and they're just randomly sitting there amidst the white ones? Unless the white books turn black when a student dies in the school, because technically the books here record the things you do when you first enter the school. The question is, where are the red books?

Moments later, the three were in verge of giving up because until now, they still couldn't find Hanako's book. "At this rate, I'm this close to hoard every black book in the library—I literally read dead peoples book and still empty handed." [Name] groaned in frustration. She picked up another book and began scanning the pages. "We don't know shit about Hanako so it's really hard, no clues—not even the slightest ones."

"If you guys notice that there are names on the spine of each book, we can find Hanako's book if we do know his real name, it may lessen the work of cleaning up the books afterwards."

[Name] deadpanned. "But the real problem is that, we don't know his fucking name so how are we supposed to find his book." They were about to call it a day since it was getting dark until Yashiro pointed a finger at [Name]. "Is there something on my face, Yashiro?"

"[Name], there's something on your hair."

"Huh?" [Name] brushed her hair using her fingers, then shuddered when her fingertips met with a random butterfly sitting on her head. The butterfly ghosted her hair just like Souho did and flew away to a certain direction. [Name] beckoned the two to follow, grabbing the lamp before the butterfly was out of sight.

The butterfly landed on a random white book as [Name] lifted the lamp upwards to see her name engraved on it. "Oh man holy shit—is that my book?"
