As days turned to weeks, Amane and Y/n had gotten closer as usual. You would see them roaming around the hallways and do things together.

      Y/n started to move on from Hanako little by little.

      Everyone in their class has been speculating the two of them whether if they like each other or just plain friends. But the truth is they love each other.

      They just can't admit it to each other.

      In a cold spring night, Y/n laid down on her bed staring at the ceiling. She's been busy throughout the weeks for planning what to do in the school festival.

      She took the idea of having an astronomy observation on the rooftop which was approved by her friend Yashiro since they planned for the festival to last at night.

      Y/n felt sleepy at the moment so she decided to close her eyes.

      Y/n felt the cold night breeze touching her skin which made her slightly shiver. She was on top of the clouds with the moon shining so bright and the stars illuminating across the night sky.

      Her night gown flowed to every step she take while looking around and there she saw Hanako infront of her. "Hanako-kun!" she cried.

      "Hi~!" he waved hello to her. Y/n wasn't used to seeing him in a black and red uniform with a hat, not to mention the two tsueshiros that were supposed to float around him.

      He was wearing white, like an angel.

      "Hanako-kun, why did you sacrifice yourself for your memories and being a school spirit?" Y/n asked.

      "Because I love you Y/n." Hanako gleefully smiled. "I wanted you to live, reach for your dreams, find someone you love and all that!"

      Y/n felt tears slipping down to her cheeks. "It's fine now, I saved you." Hanako says wiping her tears using his thumb. "Because of you, God had forgiven me and I can now go to heaven."

      "Y/n, thank you."

      "No Hanako, thank you." Y/n told him. "Thank you for being my soulmate, my friend, and my love. My life was full of misfortune and pain before I had met you. I used to think that it's better that I should die than to live like this."

      "And then." Y/n puts her hand on his cheek. "You came to my life."

      "I felt so many emotions that I didn't felt before."

      "You made me feel like I'm in a euphoric serendipity."

      "Hanako-kun, you're the most beautiful moment in life."

      Y/n gave him a smile. "And I'm happy that you can go to heaven now, Hanako-kun."

      Hanako felt his eyes water as he pulled Y/n into a tight hug. The two of them fell on their knees and cried together.

      The light from the end of the stairs began to shine brightly. Hanako pulled away and turned around to the direction of heaven. "I need to go now, Y/n." he said as he gave her a kiss on the forehead.

      Hanako stood up and stepped on the stairs towarding to heaven.

      Y/n woke up in the middle of the night because of the dream she had about Hanako. She sat up and clenched her chest while inhaling and exhaling. Tears were streaming down on her face as cold sweat rolled down from her forehead.

      "I dreamt about Hanako-kun going to heaven." she mumbled.

      Y/n ran her hand through her hair and sighed. She wiped her tears and smiled. "Haaah!" she said.

      She checked her alarm clock next to her. It was 2:00 am in the morning and she can't go back to sleep since she felt restless.

      Then someone knocked on the door. Y/n raised an eyebrow wondering who the hell would be knocking at her door at 2:00 am in the morning?

      Y/n got out of bed as she staggered towards the door. She opened the door and her eyes widened as she saw Amane holding some paper bags. "Amane-kun?" she questioned. "What the hell are you doing here at this hour?"

      He grinned. "I bought takeout!"

      Y/n turned on the lights as she beckoned him to enter inside. "Make yourself at home."

      "Place them on the kotatsu at the living room." she said as she went to the kitchen to get some drinks. "Want some soda?"

      Amane placed the takeout on the kotatsu he puts his legs under the table to get himself comfortable. Y/n puts the bottle of Sprite with two glasses.

      "Want to watch a movie?" Y/n asked as she took the remote to turn on Netflix in the television.

      "Sure I'll text Tsukasa that I'll be staying in your place." Amane nodded as he pulled his phone.

      Amane narrowed his eyes as his younger brother sent him a lenny face. He puts down his phone as he took some fries from the takeout. "So what are we watching?"

      "Disney movies." Y/n answered.

      Instead of sleeping together the two of them went through a disney movie marathon and eventually got bored few moments later.

      So they decided to stargaze at Y/n's roof since there are still some stars at the sky. "So why did you wake up early?" Y/n asked while hugging her knees and looking up to the sky.

      "I can't sleep." Amane answered casually. "How about you?"

      "I had a weird dream."

      "About?"

      Y/n shook her head and smiled. "Just something." she answered.

      The two of them spent the whole hour talking about astronomy and their favorite constellations like the geek they are, and all of a sudden Y/n yawned causing tears to appear on the corner of her eye. Amane smiled. "We should go back to sleep now." he said.

      Then Amane yawned. "I forgot yawning is contagious." he chuckled softly.

      Y/n and Amane went back inside her bedroom. Y/n hugged herself and shivered. "Oh my, it's cold." she said.

      "Well it's not that cold." Amane commented.

      "You're wearing a shirt and a pair of jogging pants, how come you're not cold?!" Y/n asked.

      "Cause I'm hot." he winked. Y/n scoffed and looked away from him.

      "Look I don't want you to sleep on the floor so I suggest...that you....should sleep....next to me." Y/n mumbled the last part under her breath.

      Amane giggled at her attitude as he pulled Y/n into a hug and fell on the bed. She yelled out a small 'eep' at the sudden action.

      Y/n puts the blanket on top of them to make them warm. Amane wrapped his arms around her waist as he put his chin on her shoulder.

      Y/n couldn't help but smile as her heart is beating faster. She felt warmth enveloping her during the cold air surrounding them.

      Y/n turned around to bury her face to Amane's chest and wrapped her arms around his shoulder. She can hear his heartbeat thumping inside his chest like a melody.

      They were soulmates.

      They love each other.

      And they wouldn't mind waking up into each others arms smiling warmly and hearts beating together as one.
