Y/n and Hanako were playing hanafuda at the corner while Kou and Yashiro were talking to each other. "Y/n-senpai..." Kou called his favorite senpai.

      "Yeah?" Y/n places the bright card at its match as she took the two cards and placed another card.

      "What do you think is the difference between a peck and a kiss?" he asked. Y/n chuckled, he's too pure for this world.

      "Well a peck is like doing it gently while a kiss like——"

      "It is of course the presence of the tongue." Hanako interrupted. Y/n smacked the hell out of him and glared.

      "You're saying unpure things to the cinnamon roll!" Y/n hissed.

      "I'm so pure."

      "I'm so pure." Y/n mocked his voice while rolling her eyes.

      "Anyways what's the deal with the Summer Festival?" Hanako asked them.

      "I invited Y/n and Kou to a Summer Festival this coming July 7th." Yashiro explained.

      "How about we'll do a Summer Festival in this school?" Hanako suggests, he really wanted to come along with them, but he's bound to live in the school. "Let's meet at Misaki Stairs!"

      The four teens arrived at the Misaki Stairs with the help of Yako. "Well, us girls have some things to prepare." Yako pushed the two boys to the portal.

      Yako helped Yashiro and Y/n by giving them a makeover, atleast the fox did something for once. "Wow Y/n! You look beautiful!" her friend complimented.

      Y/n was wearing a patterned yukata with red camellia flowers on it. Her hair was tied up in a bun with small flowers tucked on her hair. "You look so beautiful too, Nene-chan." she smiled.

      "Okay enough complimenting with each other, let's go." Yako pointed at the portal as they went inside.

      As they went inside the boundary, they spotted the two boys. "Hi guys!" Yashiro grabbed Y/n's hand and showed her to them. "What do you two think?"

      "You guys look great!" Kou complimented as he nudged Hanako. "Say something!"

      "Same what kiddo just said." Hanako sheepishly laughed then he held up some heaven's crown. "Here, you two should wear this, so everyone thinks you guys are supernaturals."

      Hanako helped Y/n to put on the crown making sure not to mess up her hairdo. "You look really pretty, you know that Y/n?" he smiled.

      "Uh huh..." Y/n deadpanned.

      "Anyways, let's go to the festival!" Hanako punches the air cheerfully.

      The four of them went around the festival to buy candy apples and play games to win prizes. Y/n had bought a lot of candy apples since she secretly stole the mermaid scales from Hanako.

      Kou grabbed a tanzaku from the paper bag. "What's this paper?"

      "You usually get them from shopping stalls." Y/n answered. "My sister and I used to collect them when we were kids."

      The Tabanata Festival, also known as the Star Festival, usually gives you a tanzaku when you shop at a booth. When you collect them all and write your wish, you can hang it from the bamboo tree at the banquet hall.

      "So our wishes will come true?" Yashiro asked excitedly, wishing about making her legs skinnier.

      "Legit? Any wish of ours will come true?!" Y/n asked. "Wowwww!"

      "Well what are waiting for!" Y/n grabbed Yashiro and Kou's hand as she raised it up high. "Let's go! Go go!"

      And so they played....

      And played....

      "I can't freaking find the last one." Y/n groaned as she showed Hanako the tanzakus that she got from the booths.

      "I only need one more." Kou sweatdropped.

      "Life is so unfair." Yashiro added.

      "I told you it's like this every year." Yako tells them.

      "Let's just give it up and make our wishes." said Hanako as he walked towards the bamboo tree. "It'll be closing soon."

      "Now now, cheer up now." Y/n patted Kou and Yashiro's head as the two of them pouted. "Hanako says that there will be fireworks!"

      "Yay!" The two of them cheered.

      The surroundings became more crowdier than usual. Y/n was busy looking around until she lost sight at Hanako. She jumped up and down. "Hanako-kun!" she called.

      "Y/n!" Hanako went over to Y/n. "How did you end up here?"

      "It's crowded." she answered.

      Hanako chuckled as he held out his hand for her to hold on. "Hold my hand so you won't get lost then."

      Y/n smiled as her cheeks were dusted with pink. She happily accepted his hand. "Lead the way, Hanako-kun." she said.

      The two are now holding hands together until a bull decided to ruin the moment by getting in the way. "Coming through!"

      "Oof!" Y/n stumbled backwards.

      The helpless girl rubbed her forehead to soothe the pain. "Ow what was——" Y/n looked up and saw that Hanako, Kou and Yashiro were gone already.

      "H-Hanako-kun?" she called out.

      Y/n decided to remove her bun as she let her hair down. Her flower ornaments stood still to her hair. She looked around and saw people instead of supernaturals.

      It reminded her the day she and Hina last went to a Tanabata Festival.

      "Onee-chan!" Hina waves her candy apple at Y/n who is counting her tanzakus.

      "Hina if you keep waving your candy apple it might fall." Y/n playfully scolded her.

      "Look! Let's hang our tanzakus to the bamboo tree!" Hina grabbed her hand as she dragged her older sister to the banquet hall.

      "What about mom? Should we be worried?" Y/n asked.

      "Don't worry, we haven't hung out for a long time." Hina assured. "Oh here we are! Did you write your wish?"

      Y/n smiled. "But I ain't telling you."

      "Onee-chaaaannn!" Hina whined.

      "What? You shouldn't tell your wishes or they may not come true."

      Hina hung her tanzaku at the bamboo tree. She smiled. "I'll wait for you at the cotton candy store." then she left.

      Y/n checked her tanzaku before she hung it on the bamboo tree.

      Y/n bit her lip. 'What was my wish that time?'

      "Hey."

      Y/n looked up to see a child who has black choppy hair and amber like eyes. "Are you okay?"
