      The ghostly orbs began to transform Hanako's form with a cape. "It is true that I murdered someone." said Hanako. "But God told me, that if I could fulfill this role, my sins would be absolved."

      "So I didn't let myself get exorcised." Hanako pointed his knife at Kou. "I'm sorry about that."

      As Kou tried to attack Hanako with his spear which is useless because Hanako is dodging his attacks until he held on to his spear. Kou's eyes widened in shock as Hanako examined his bruised wrist.

      Kou had the chance to electrecute him. "You never learn." he said. "Disappear for good this time!"

      'God, I've been watching too much anime.' Y/n sighed as she puts her hands on her face.

      "Hey, boy, I want this staff." Hanako says with a menacing face to Kou while grasping at his spear. "Give it to me and I'll let you go."

      "I'm not gonna run." Kou tells Hanako.

      "Fine, then" Hanako simply just let him go as Kou fell to the ground with a thud.

      Hanako raised his knife to stab Kou, Y/n was about to move to make him stop, instead Hanako just flicked him on the forehead. "Got you!"

      'J-Jeez Hanako-kun I thought you will stab him' Y/n sighed in relief just as she knew Hanako wouldn't kill him that easily.

      "I win." Hanako cheerfully smiled at Kou was on the ground, helpless. Hanako grabbed Kou's staff as he puts a seal on top of it. "It won't hurt anyone, anymore!"

      Kou's eyes widened in disbelief as he grabbed his staff from Hanako. "What the hell do you think you're doing from my family treasure!"

      Kou tried to scratch off the seal from his staff using his fingers. "I-It won't come off!"

      "Take it off!"

      "I don't want to."

      Hanako grabbed Kou's hand to check his palm. "I knew it, you haven't mastered that staff at all."

      Hanako's clothes went back to normal. "No need to rush, one day you'll become a great exorcist." he told the exorcist. "Good enough that exorcising me would be a snap."

      "I have high hopes for you."

      "High hopes? But I'm tryin to exorcise you." said Kou in confusion.

      "Of course." Hanako balled his fist ready to punch Kou on the stomach. "You're a weakling now."

      Hanako swiftly punched Kou on his stomach. "N-no fair."

      "Vibe check." Y/n muttered while Yashiro is playing with the strands of her hair.

      Kou fell to the ground unconscious. "Winner! Yay!" Hanako cheered. Y/n facepalmed really hard on the situation.

      Yashiro ran up to Kou's unconscious body. "Is he going to be alright?!" she asked the ghost.

      "I doubt he would have given up otherwise." Hanako stated.

      Y/n examined Kou for a while until realization hits her. "Wait a second, this dude is Minamoto-senpai's brother!" she pointed out. "He bumped into me yesterday after I gave the two girls some candies."

      Yashiro's face heated up as Y/n mentioned her puppy crush. Y/n picked up the staff next to Kou. "Should we do something about this thing though?"

      Yashiro ran off thr building, leaving Hanako, Y/n and Kou's unconscious state. "Are you worried about me?"

      "Heck yeah, I'm worried about you." Y/n answered him. "You're my friend."

      "I see"

      Hanako turned around. "You can even make friends with murderers,Y/n."

      As Hanako walked away from her bringing Kou's staff along with him. The h/c haired girl stood there in silence as his figure disappeared to the stairs.

      The girl pressed her lips into a thin line and looked back at Kou who is currently mumbling about exorcising Hanako.

      'Even if we were friends' Y/n looked up into the sky. 'I don't know anything much about him'

      Y/n was helping Aoi to water her plants at the window. She is in deep thought about what happened yesterday between her and Hanako.

      "Y/n-chan?" Aoi called her.

      Y/n turned her head towards her direction. "Yeah?"

      "You always have your head in the clouds lately."

      "Ahaha~" Y/n scratched her head. "Sorry, it's just that a lot of things had happened recently and my mind decided to replay them."

      "Oh, do you have a crush on someone?" asked Aoi. Y/n slightly blushed at her question, but smiled instead.

      "Well, I really don't want to have a lovelife right now." Y/n placed the potted plant by the window. "Considering that I was ghosted."

      "Cheer up Y/n-chan!" Aoi tells her friend. "I know, have you heard this story?"

      Y/n raised a brow. "What story?" she asked.

      "The second of the Seven Wonders is..." Aoi paused for a dramatic effect to make the mood spookier. "The Misaki Stairs."

      "You must never step on the fourth step, if you break that rule, you will be dragged to the world of the dead. You'll be ripped into countless little pieces. And at twilight, that stair drips with the blood of it's victims." Aoi tells her. "It's the B stairs infront of the Art room."

      "You sure know a lot Aoi-san." Y/n stated as she crossed her arms.

      "Akane-san, aren't you forgetting something?" The two girls turned their heads to see a teacher leaning against the door. "Career Counseling, 4:30 in the Art room."

      "Hi Aoi-chan." Yashiro greeted Aoi as she entered the classroom. The purple haired girl smiled as she left the classroom.

      "Eyow Nene-chan." Y/n greeted her. "How's looking around for tall handsome boys?"

      "I-It's not like that." Nene swatted her hands to deny that she did try to look for one.

      "Haha~" Y/n says. "I'm just kidding~"

      "Aoi's plants!" Yashiro exclaimed as they arrived inside the classroom. "They're gone."

      "Did someone cleared it away or something?" Y/n wondered to herself.

      Just then their teacher entered the classroom. The two girls are still speculating Aoi's absence, not to mention her desk also disappeared.

      'Don't tell me she stepped into that Misaki stairs thingy' Y/n stood up and grabbed Yashiro's hand.

      "We're getting to the bottom of this!" Y/n told her. Yashiro nodded as she pulled out her phone while running off with her.

      "L/n-san! Yashiro-san!"

      Yashiro tried to dial Aoi's number but there's no service. "Try to call her family number or something."

      The cream haired girl dialed the Aoi's family number.

      "Hello, Akane residence."

      Yashiro asked about Aoi but no luck, no one even knew her. Y/n puts her hand on her waist. "The hell's going on?" she asked.

      Then realization hits her. 'Art room, B stairs, shit it's the Misaki stairs'

      "I think I know where she is." Y/n mentioned. "Ever heard of Misaki Stairs?"

      Yashiro nodded. "It's one of the wonders in this school."

      "I knew it." The girl clicked her tongue. "Whelp, we're going to consult Hanako-kun about this thing."

      Just as Yashiro turned around someone hit her face that made her fall to the ground. "Nene-chan, are you——oh god."

      A tall brown haired boy picked her up as if he was a prince. Y/n wanted to take a swan dive off the roof on the situation they're in.

      "Are you okay?" The boy said while handing her phone.

      "Y-yes." Yashiro replied with heart eyes. Y/n bit her bottom lip then shook her head.

      "Sorry about that, senpai." Y/n apologized to the boy. "We're in a hurry right now, thanks for helping though."

      "Don't think about it." The boy winked as he left the two of them.

      'Well Hanako-kun we go then!' Y/n turned around to go to the direction of the third floor bathroom.

      What she didn't know that a black origami swan was following her all along.
