when kiyomi was only a few months old, her parents had left her and she was left to survive on her own, no one to depend on but herself. by sheer luck she'd managed to survive.
at the age of three, orochimaru had found her, wandering along the path near his relatively new village, otogakure and he gave her a home. once her guard was down and she trusted him, he began to experiment on her and needless to say all of his experiments were very painful. even as a little girl, she knew not to trust anyone but she foolishly did so. she knew she couldn't trust anyone from now on. after that everything she did was fake, her smile, kindness, it was all a lie, it was an act.
when she was eight, she had mastered all the things that was taught to her; kenjutsu (the practice of swords), weapons, summonings, the technique of the six paths, puppets, forbidden jutsus, bombs/explosions, phase and travel through surroundings as well as have the ability to talk to animals. orochimaru made her train with many great shinobi; haku, zabuza, the akatsuki, danzo, hanzo as well as going undercover to train with jiraiya, tsunade senju, ลnoki, mei terumi, yagura, roshi, yugito, chiyo and many more.
orochimaru gave her multiple curse marks, one on the her back, the right side of her neck, her right wrist, the left side of her hip and her left shoulder blade. after mastering her curse mark, he taught her sage mode and without orochimaru knowing she began to train with the 'beast and demon' inside her. although she's planned to escape, she hasn't been able to, due to her loyalty to her friends and the thirst to know more.

after getting experimented on and lied to, it can't be helped to see that kiyomi has a very tough exterior. although underneath her tough exterior she has a heart of gold and is very loyal and soft-spoken. she is very level headed and patient, rarely losing her temper. she often displays her intelligence and wisdom during missions and tasks.
kiyomi prefers to be alone, aside from the few people she actually likes being around. she is very sarcastic and cold, though due to her looks, she often portrayed as innocent and nice, which she is not.
although she prefers keeping to herself, she is very fierce and confident often making clear that she's not afraid to speak her mind no matter what anybody says, which can come off as rude.

kiyomi has long brown hair which lands just above her bum, styled with bangs and a side fringe. her hair is often worn in a bun or otherwise not tied up at all. she has light fair skin and with greyish blue eyes. she has a scar that runs from under her left eye all the way to her right cheek. her centre right tooth is pointed, much like a fang.
she usually wears bandages around her forearms and hands as well as her legs, that is, if she's not wearing her elbow high gloves or her thigh high socks. she has hidden weights all over her body. she wears a necklace that contains extra chakra, only for emergencies.
she has the crest of her clan on the back of her neck, it is even on the back of some of her clothes. she has a seal on her stomach like naruto to prevent kuro and hageshi getting out. she has her summoning seal on her back.

when her curse mark is activated it spreads, the design similar to that of sasukes. she gains many other abilities along with the curse mark, seeing as it affects people in a different way. when her curse mark is activated her skin turns grey and she gains wings, horns and arm blades. she has managed to control and subdue her curse mark. her heaven curse mark is located on the right side of her neck, the left side of hip and her back. the earth curse mark is on her left shoulder blade and her right wrist.
when her sage mode is activated her eyes change to gold while she gains blue pigmentation around her eyes extending to her cheeks. she also gets a golden glow around her eyes. once she undergoes sage transformation in addition to that, she gains small horns, shoulder spikes and arm blades.
