EDEN HARGREEVE stood in front of the familiar building that she had called home years ago. Eden walks inside of the academy to hear no one around, her eyebrows furrow when she hears shuffling inside of the living room. Eden peaks inside of the living room and smiles widely when she sees her brother, Diego, narrowing his eyes at every object as if he was checking for anything unusual making her laugh. Diego's head snaps up and he smiles seeing Eden who hadn't aged a day since he last saw her.

"Diego!" Eden exclaims running forward and wrapping Diego in a huge bear hug and Diego smiled at her families hugs. He wasn't going to admit it but he had missed his youngest sisters bear hugs.

"Eden! Baby sister! You haven't aged a day!" Diego says and Eden rolls her eyes pulling back to look at her much older brother

"I'm the same age as you!" She laughs as Diego raises an eyebrow

"Well look at you! You're all grown up!" Eden exclaims running her eyes over her brothers face

"And I'm glad you've stayed out of trouble, I've been paying attention to the news praying that the headlines wouldn't say 'vigilante dressed in all black with the familiar umbrella academy mask was caught outside of a robbery' " Eden jokes causing her brother to roll his eyes at the girl, she was always the jokester and mischievous one of the group

"I don't ever get caught" Diego brags with a proud feeling flowing through him that Eden had caught

"Whatever you say brother" Eden says flopping onto the couch with a smile

She hadn't been home in forever

Her smile widens when she hears the door open again.

"Family reunion!" Eden exclaims and Diego grumbles underneath his breath as Eden rushes to the door to greet whichever sibling showed up next.

"Allison! Vanya! I've missed you guys so much!" Eden yells wrapping her sisters in a hug

"Eden we talked on the phone last week" Allison laughs and Eden rolls her hazel eyes

"Yeah that was last week Ally! And Ms. busy over stopped calling me!" Eden says with crossed arms and a slight pout on her face

"I-I just didn't think you would want to after everything" Vanya stutters and Eden gives her a small reassuring smile

"Of course I would want to talk to you! Your still my sister!" Eden says with a large smile feeling Vanya's emotions and pulling her into a tight hug

"You'll always be my sister no matter what" Eden whispers into Vanya's ear and smiles before pulling away from the hug and going to say hi to Luther.

She walks by her fathers office and stops when she hears shuffling inside. Her eyebrows furrow and she steps inside the office, leaning over the desk to see who was rummaging in their fathers desk. A large smile spread across Edens face when she sees her other brother, Klaus.

"Santa!" Eden yells in excitement and Klaus stands up abruptly with excitement in his eyes when he hears the familiar nickname.

It was snowing and the first day of December, Grace sat in a chair reading to Eden. The book was about Santa and how he delivered gifts to children that were on their best behavior. Edens eyes were open wide with wonder while listening closely to Grace who was reading the book to her. Her siblings were downstairs playing around and Eden didn't feel like playing and instead wanted Grace to read to her. Right when Grace ended the book Eden was sitting up straighter with a curious face.

"So is Santa Clause really real?" Eden asks in a little voice as Grace smiles widely at the little girl

"Yes he is and he comes every day on Christmas Eve to deliver presents to good kids" Grace explains and Edens eyes widen

"Will he come to our house?" Eden asks in excitement her smile widening

"Of course he will, you are all good kids right?" Grace asks and Eden nods her head rapidly making her black curls shake

"Yep!" Young Eden says

"Can we make cookies and milk for Santa Klaus when he comes?" Eden asks curiously and Grace glances up to see Reginald watching them and he nods softly

"Yes we can but on the day of Christmas Eve" Grace agrees with a soft smile and watches as Edens smile widens

"Yay!" She exclaims before her eyes widen with realization

Grace watches as the young girl hops out of bed and runs down the stairs as if she was on a mission and in Edens head she was. She stormed into the room where her siblings were playing and narrowed her eyes on Klaus who was laughing at something. At the age of six Eden was the most childish and smallest one of the Hargreeve children, all of her siblings towered over her but that didn't stop Eden. She walked over to Klaus and pointed at him

"You're Santa Klaus!" She yells, her voice filled with betrayal as her eyes teared up a bit. Klaus's eyes widen as he stared at Eden in confusion wondering who Santa Clause was.

"Who's Santa Klaus?" Luther asks in confusion

"It's Klausy and he didn't tell me" Eden cried, tears falling down her chubby and rosy cheeks

Klaus stared wide eyed at the bawling Eden who wouldn't stop crying.

"Okay! Yes, yes I am Santa Klaus! Now quite crying!" Klaus panickly shouts and Eden continues to cry

Number Five stared at Eden before walking over to the small girl.

"Come on Eden let's go and read another book, yeah?" Number five gently says to her and Edens tears suddenly stop as she stares up at number five

"Okay" she cheerfully says skipping up the stairs and following Number Five into his room so he can read her another book.

"Little miss Eden?" He asks holding his arms out for a hug and Eden laughs loudly hugging her brother tightly

"I've missed you so much Klaus!" Eden says and Klaus laughs, hugging her breathing in her calming familiar scent of vanilla

"I've missed you to baby sis!" Klaus exclaims and plops himself on their fathers chair right when Allison comes into the office hearing Klaus and Eden talking.

"Klaus?" She asks and Klaus stood up

"Allison, is that really you? Wow" He says gesturing her over and wrapping a hand over her shoulder and Allison turned to Eden with a knowing smirk

"Hey, I just wanted to get your autograph. Add it to my collection you know?" He says putting his hands under his chin with a goofy smile on his face. Allison eyes his wrist and raises her eyebrow at Klaus

"Just out of rehab?" Allison asks and Klaus quickly pulls his sleeve down

"No, no, no, no" He rejects

"No, I'm done with all that." He sighs

"I just came down here to prove to myself that the old man was really gone. And he is! He's  dead. Yeah!" Klaus exclaims and Eden raises her eyebrow

"You know how I know? Because if he were alive, not one of us would he allowed to set foot in this room" Klaus says and plops down on the chair putting his feet on the desk

"He was always in here, our whole childhood, plotting his next torment, right?" Klaus chuckles

"Remember how he used to look at us? That scowl?" Klaus says pointing to the portrait that hung above the fireplace

"Thank Christ he's not our real father!! So we couldn't inherit those cold, dead eyes!" Klaus exclaims and opens his eyes wide, intimating Reginald causing both Allison and Eden to laugh at him

"Number three! Number Zero! Nu-" Klaus was cut of by Luther

"Get out of his chair" Luthers firm voice rang through the room and Eden turned around to see Luther standing in the doorway. He looked different, bigger but he was still her brother

Eden smiled widely at her brother and rushed over to give him a hug, her small arms not fully able to wrap around him but she still tried.

"Lulu!" She smiles and Luther grumbles at the nickname, Allison laughing lightly

"Hey little one" Luther greets her with a small smile, he didn't question why she still looked seventeen.

"Oh, wow, Luther! Wow, you really, uh.." Klaus trails off, stands up from his chair and flexing both his skinny arms

"You really filled out over the years, huh?"

"Klaus" Luther says in a father tone

"Save the lecture. I was already leaving" Klaus says and starts to leave

"You guys can talk amongst yourselves" he chuckles and goes to leave only to be stopped by Luther

"Drop it" Luthers says in a firm voice, staring Klaus down who stare right back with an offended face

"Ex-squeeze me?" He dramatically says

"Do it. Now" Eden steps up just in case she has to stop something watching Klaus rips his arm away

"All right. All right"

"It's just an advance on our inheritance!" He exclaims dropping objects in front of Luther

"That's all it is!"

"No need to get your little panties in a bunch" Klaus says to Luther and Eden smiles as Klaus leaves the room

She looks between the two and she could sense the tension. Eden smiles softly at her two siblings and waves both her hands.

"Toodles" she says and leaves the awkward space going into the living room.

They all sat in the living room in silence and it was getting slightly awkward. Klaus was raiding their fathers liquor and Luther cleared his throat.

"I guess we should get this started" Luther stood up

"So, I figured we could have a sort of memorial service in the courtyard at sundown" Luther proposed and Eden rested her head on her knuckles

"Say a few words, just at dads favorite spot"

"Dad has a favorite spot?" Allison asks

"You know, under the oak tree. " Allison looks confused

"We used to sit out there all the time. None of you ever did that?" He asks and Eden shakes her head

"No, he just showed up at my boutique to check up on me" Eden quietly says and Luther nods

"Will there be refreshments?" Klaus asks with a large cup of alcohol in his hand as he sat down next to me, smoking what she assumed was drugs.

"Tea? Scones?" He questions and Eden perks up

"Oooh Cucumber sandwiches" Eden says and Klaus points at her

"They are always the winner" Klaus says and Luther looks at the in disbelief

"What? No. And put that out. Dad didn't allow smoking in here" Luther says and Eden rolls her eyes 'dad says this, dad doesn't like allow that, dad wouldn't want that'

"Is that my skirt?" Allison asks Klaus and Eden finally noticed that Klaus was wearing a leather skirt causing her to laugh.

"What?" Klaus ask walking around the couch

"Oh yeah, this. I found it in your room. It's a little dated, I know but it's very breathy on the bits." Klaus says doing a few poses causing Eden to laugh louder at her silly sibling. Luther looked irritated with Klaus and closed his eyes for a second

"Listen up. Still some important things we need to discuss, all right?" Luther says trying to get everyone's attention but Eden was already bored with the conversation and when she's bored, she's not very cooperative.

"Like what?" Diego finally speaks

"Like the way he died" Luther says and Edens eyebrows furrow, slight interest in the conversation now

"What do you mean? They said it was a heart attack" Eden speaks with Vanya nodding in agreement

"Yeah, according to the coroner." Luther says and Edens eyes narrow already knowing what's going on

"Well wouldn't they know?"

"Theoretically"

"Theoretically?" Allison questions leaning in

"I'm just saying, at the very least, something happened. The last time I talked to dad, he sounded strange" Luther explained and Eden clenched her jaw, her eyes narrowed at Luther

"Oh, quelle surprise!" Klaus gurgles from beside her and Eden gives her brother a small smile

"Strange how?" Allison asks

"He sounded on edge, told me I should be careful who to trust."

"Luther, he was a paranoid, bitter old man" Diego says standing up from his spot

"Who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles." Diego says gettin closer to Luther and Eden scoots to the edge of the couch ready to stop something if needed.

"No. He must have known something was going to happen. Look, I know you don't like to do it, but I need you to talk to dad." Luther ask Klaus who was sprawled against the couch

"I can't just call dad in the afterlife and be like, "dad, could you just stop stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?" Klaus says leaning forward and making gestures with his hand

"Since when? That's your thing" Luther says and Eden snorts

"Im not in the right frame of mind." Klaus Says and Eden raises her eyebrows at Klaus

"You mean your high?" Allison accuses and Eden didn't like the way this conversation was going

"Yeah, yeah. I mean how are you not? Listening to this nonsense" Klaus says looking around at everyone

"Well sober up, this is important" Klaus just sighs

"Then, there's the issue of the missing monocle" Edens eyebrows furrow

"Who gives a shit about a stupid monocle?" Diego spits out and Eden nods

"It's just a monocle" Eden says and Luther glared at her

"Exactly. It's worthless. So whoever took it, I think it was personal"

"Someone close to him. Someone with a grudge."

"Where are you doing with this?" Klaus asks in confusion and Eden glared at Luther

"Isn't it obvious? He thinks one of us murdered dad" Eden spits out and everyone stares at Luther in disbelief

"You do" Klaus says in a high pitched voice, betrayal on his face

"How could you think that?" Vanya says in disbelief

Luther opens his mouth and stares at us with wide eyes.

"Great job, Luther. Way to lead." Diego says and exits the room, Klaus stands up and points at Luther

"That's not what I'm saying"

"You're crazy, man. You're crazy" Klaus says grabbing dads ashes

"I'm not finished" Luther says

"Sorry, I'm just gonna go murder mom. Be right back " Klaus says walking to the kitchen, Vanya following

"That's not what I was saying" Luther says and Eden purses her lips and stands up, following her sister and brother walking to her room

Luther watches as Allison stands up giving him a look and leaving, his heart broke a little.
