Author's Note: This song really suits the situation between "(Y/N)" and Jimin so I decided to put it here :)

Chaeyoung: It's been ages since we all got out together to eat someplace nice right?

Jisoo: I knoww I was craving for some good Chinese food

Dad: I'm sorry girls. I know how much I used to take you guys out for dinners like these back when you were way younger. I swear if I get more time off from the hospital, then I'll make up for it.

Jennie: Come on Dad, we know you and Mom work hard for us. No need to be sorry about anything at all

(Jennie exclaims in a reassuring voice while holding Dad's arm at the table as he smiles sweetly at her)

(We're currently in a Chinese restaurant, quite luxurious too, I suppose Dad finally thought it was about time to take us someplace a little nicer for their 20th wedding anniversary)

(It was Mom's idea to allow Jennie and Jisoo to bring along Samuel and Jimin, I guess she did so to show appreciation to both of the them for taking care of my sisters. And the rest of us crackheads)

Dad: Jimin, you really have become much taller. I heard you got into basketball

Jimin: Uh yes sir, haha well I thought it's abt time I give it a go. Plus your daughter really likes to cheer for me. She's the loudest too

Jennie: Shhh stop

(Jennie pinches Jimin's cheek as he cries out but laughs afterwards. This is exactly how I want to see the two of them, happy together. And Jimin actually is having a good time. It's nice to see that since he's been sad for some time. Does Jennie even know? Maybe they talked?)

(Oh right, it's been a few days since the
...well....kiss....and I know Jisoo told me to talk it out with Jimin but UGH it's just so hard. I'm really bad at confrontations and always look for an excuse to not talk to him)

Mom: Samuel, I heard you got into the debate club?

Samuel: Um well

Jisoo: Mom he's the president of the debate club...

Mom: Oh really??! Well that's great! Handsome and smart. You have chosen wisely my daughter

(Mom says sarcastically while drinking her glass of wine and Jisoo glares at her in a funny way. Samuel laughs out loud)

Dad: How come you're not in the debate club Jimin?

Jennie: Jeez don't grill him Dad.

Chaeyoung: That's right, everyone plays by their strengths

Dad: Haha sorry sorry

Jimin: Well I guess I could give it a go. I am very persuasive *smiles*

(They all laugh)

Dad: So Chae...when are we going to meet your boyfriend?

(She hesitates for a bit)

Chaeyoung: God Dad...thanks for reminding me I'm singleee on this nice Saturday night

Dad: Haha I'm sorry sweetie

Mom: Well I do hope (Y/N) and Chaeyoung don't get boyfriends until they're in University. They should focus on their studies for now

Jisoo and Jennie: Ouch

Mom: *Laughs*

Dad: Or maybe.... do you have a boyfriend (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Wha? Noo no of course not!

(I noticed Jimin looking at me)

(Chaeyoung moves her chair closer to mine and hugs me tight)

Chaeyoung: Oh no no no she is not leaving the "SSC"

Jimin: The what?

Chaeyoung: The "Single Sisters Club"

(Everyone laughs and soon the waiters came with our food and we had a lovely dinner)

(After we finished our dinner, everyone started to chit chat amongst themselves as the waiters started to pick up the leftover food and plates. I decided to get up from my chair and go outside for a bit. I don't know what's wrong with me...I just don't feel like talking to anyone right now)

Chaeyoung: Hey where you going?

(Y/N): Just need some fresh air. I'll be back

(And I leave the restaurant and stand outside. It was chilly but refreshing)

~3rd P.O.V~

Jimin: Jen I'm gonna go to the washroom for a bit okay?

Jennie: Uh..yeah sure

(Jimin gets up from the table with the purpose of meeting you outside the restaurant, since he thought it was the perfect time to talk about everything as you two would be alone, at least for a little while)

(Jimin does go to the washroom for a bit and then makes his way towards the main entrance. He stops for a while as he could see you standing outside through the tall glass windows at front. For some reason, his heart beat increases. With a long exhale, he opens the door and walks up to you)

Jimin: You shouldn't stand here for too long. You'll catch a cold

(Y/N): I'm fine thanks..

(He takes off his jacket and puts it on your shoulders. You jump up a bit in surprise because of that gesture. But then you remind yourself that he's always been that way. Way too kind. One of the reasons why you fell in love with him. But "not anymore" as you don't fail to remind yourself that either)

(Y/N): So what are you doing out here?

Jimin: Well I came to talk to you so...

(You notice that the jacket he put on you had the dragon in the back. It was the same leather jacket he was wearing that night at the party. Your heart beats faster as the image of you kissing him flashes in front of your eyes. You close your eyes quickly and shake your head a little to get that out of your head. Not that it helped much)

(Y/N): Like..what?

Jimin: Are you really gonna do this?

(Y/N): I don't know what you're talking about

Jimin: That. That's exactly what I meant

(He laughs a bit and you do too. But there was clear tension, no doubt about that.

(Y/N): Okay...you're right.

(You turn towards him)

(Y/N): Jimin, I'm sorry for what happened that night. I was majorly drunk but still that's no excuse for what I did. I hope...we can get past that? I really don't wanna ruin our friendship

Jimin: .....

(Y/N): ........

Jimin: That's it?

(Y/N): Uh...for my apology? Yes..?

Jimin: Wow..

(He looks up at the sky in frustration)

Jimin: I was hoping...a bit more than that

(Y/N): What do you want me to do? Kneel to the ground and apologize?

Jimin: No! I just-

(He keeps on looking around, for nothing. He's just trying not to make any eye contact)

Jimin: Was that it?

(Y/N): Jimin...I don't know what you mean but yeah that's it. Like I said, I was drunk and it was a stupid mistake.

Jimin: Mistake?-

(Y/N): .....Besides I didn't even know it was you haha

(His eyes widen up and he looks at you intently and in disbelief)

Jimin: What do you mean you didn't know it was me?

(Y/N): Yeah I...it's silly actually. I just wanted to kiss a guy haha so...and what are the chances? I kissed you! *Laughs*

Jimin: So...you would've kissed just any guy?

(Y/N): Yeah I just...wanted to be wild for one night *laughs*

(Jimin nods his head slowly with a "Are you serious right now?" look on his face which surprised you because that wasn't the reaction you were expecting at all)

(Y/N): Something wrong? You're not saying anything

(He kept on walking back and forth on the pavement, still shaking his head in amusement and disbelief)

Jimin: What do you...haha....want me to say?

(Y/N): Well...I thought you'd...laugh?

Jimin: Oh right

(He laughs a little but it was so obvious that it was fake and he sounded angry actually)

Jimin: No you're right...this is funny

(Y/N): Why are you...? What's up with you?

Jimin: I don't know *shrugs* I just thought...maybe you...kissed me...

(He looks at you straight in the eyes while his hands were in his pockets)

Jimin: ...for a reason

(Y/N): *Laughs* And what would that be?

(Suddenly the sarcastic smile on his face faded away and turned into a melancholic one)

Jimin: You know...

(Y/N): Um...no? *Laughs* What reason?

(He sighs and steps forward)

Jimin: (Y/N)...you know

(You stopped smiling and had just about enough of this)

(You go past him quickly to your way towards the main entrance door when Jimin starts to follow you)

Jimin: No no (Y/N) listen! Just listen please! Stop please for one second!-

(You stopped and he stood in front of you)

(Y/N): What?

Jimin: Just listen to me-

(Y/N): *In a shaky voice* Now? Really?? You wanna talk about this now?

Jimin: I-

(Y/N): It's been over a year and you choose tonight?

(You can feel lump in your throat building up from the pain inside you. You try your best to suppress your feelings from overflowing and especially..your tears. But it was obvious you would almost cry from how shaky your voice was and Jimin noticed that)

(Y/N): I'm sorry...I can't do this. Not again. Let's just forget about it and move on-

Jimin: I can't...you never forgave me..

(Y/N): *Laughs in amusement* Forgive you? Should I do that Jimin? Huh? You tell me, should I?

(You step closer to him but he just looks away, thinking of an answer)

(Y/N): Nothing to say huh? Just like always...

Jimin: (Y/N)...

(Y/N): You didn't say anything back then too Jimin...You just ignored everything I had said in that text. And I'm sorry that I never got the courage to come up to your face and said those words out loud but you know what? I'm glad I didn't do it, because I think you would've just walked away without saying anything.

(He looks down and stays quiet)

(Y/N): You know..I..never expected you to say "Yes" but the least you could have done was say something...idk like "Hey thanks for saying that. I gotta be honest with you, I just don't feel the same way but we're cool"....you know?...you could've just said that and it would've been ENOUGH.

(He looks at your eyes. Pain surging behind his)

(Y/N): One word. And that's all I would've needed. You didn't even give me that...but instead later on I see you kissing my sister at school. Yeah that was a good day

(He finally replies)

Jimin: I swear to you I didn't know Jennie and you were sisters! I wouldn't have ever done that if I knew-

(Y/N): So even if we weren't related you would've just...never said anything to me?

(He opens his mouth again to say something but no words come out)

(Y/N): Huh..okay...

(You both stay in silence for a while and soon you realize Chaeyoung calling you from inside and Jisoo, looking worried, was beside her. I guess the bill was paid and it was time to go)

(Y/N): We should back inside. But before we do, I just wanna say one last thing. I did love you....

(He looks up at your eyes. His cheeks were red. That always happens when we he's really excited....or really upset)

(Y/N): I did... but now there's nothing. So... *exhales* no need to worry abt it any longer.

Jimin: I never meant to hurt you...

(You were ready to walk away again but stopped when he said that. You look at him, your eyes teary)

(Y/N): It doesn't really matter Jimin...in the end it all hurts just the same..

(You walk away and rub a tear from your cheek as you go inside with a smile on your face)

(Jimin puts his hands on his waist and sighs deeply in exhaustion and agony with his eyes closed)

("Shit..." he calls out in a whisper under his breath. And he finally straightens up and walks back inside the restaurant as well)
