Luke and I went out for our daily jog at the park. We jogged next to each other, watching other joggers, moms pushing strollers and kids playing around. As we took a break, I stared at the woman who was smiling down at her baby. It brought me happiness.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" I turned to Luke. He hummed as he was chugging his water.
"Whats up?" I wiped my sweat from my forehead.
"I was thinking, its been in my head for a while actually." Luke looked at me. "I want to start a family." I blurted out. The face Luke made. I didn't know if it was an off guard or shocked. "Before you say anything, I think it'll be great for us! We are doing amazing, we're financially stable, we can definitely turn one of the guest rooms into the babys." I started to smile as I started to imagine. "Spencer helped me with the financial, if one of us quits or gets fired, hopefully not, we still can do it!" He saw the way I was reacting, making him smile. "Schools around us are amazing, we can even take it to private school!"
"Definitely not private school, you know this." He laughs.
"Sister Maria." I squinted my eyes. "Something was up with her, I know it." Hated catholic school, they're do strict, but thats where I met him, not all bad. It was a win win.
"You really thought this through, huh." I nodded. He saw how happy I was? Just by talking about it."Lets do it. But I want a boy." He smiles. I jumped up with joy and into his arms.
"Wait-" i looked at him. "I want a girl."
"We cant really choose really." I kissed him.
"Imagine, a little Luke or Hazel running around the house." We started to walk back home.
"That sounds nice." He wraps his arms around me and kissed my cheek. "If i have to be honest, I would love to have a family with you."

One Day Earlier
"1996. The ribcage of a male was found in the desert rose national park. It was never identified." JJ projects the body parts on the screen. "This morning, the remains of two victims were found in almost exactly the same area."
"Well, one year later is cause for concern, but 10 years? That could be a coincidence." Emily shrugging as I gave her a cup of coffee.
"It would be... If the unidentified male wasn't missing a right rib bone." Spencer said as he walked around the table.
"And the torso found this morning is missing exactly the same bone." I said as I tossed the file to the table.
"Both of them seem to be surgically removed, and the advanced rate of decomposition on the male means that he died far before the female."
"Oh!" JJ clears her throat. "katherine hale. They found a bracelet on her wrist. She ran away about two weeks ago from her small colorado town."
"Unsub's crossing state lines. He's mobile."
"If the remains are related to the same killer, where's he been for 10 years?"
"Killing." Gideon walks in with a box. "Unsolved case files going back 30 years." He slapped the files down to the table. We all picked up a file. "Every case, the victimology is the same. The unwanted. This box is just the tip of the iceberg. 13 cases spanning 30 years. Same m.o. Right rib bone is missing. It's him, hotch. It's the same killer."
"All the remains were dumped in remote areas and always near interstate 80. And up till now, no remains this intact or this close to the actual time of kill have been found."
"Never two victims dumped at the same time in the same place."
"All of these killings the work of just one man?" Emily questions as Gideon looks up at the screen.
"The most prolific serial killer ever."

Emily, Spencer and I went to Golconda Police Station to set up. We showed them our badges and we felt unwanted.
"Is it just me, or do you get the feeling that we're not welcome here." Spencer says as we walked away from the front desk.
"Oh, it's not us. It's what we represent. Government's not all that popular out here." Emily tells him.
"No! No, you can't make me go!" We saw police dragging a women out. Screaming. "I know what my rights are! No, don't make me go! No, I don't want to go home! I know my rights! Come on! What are you looking at, princess?!" She yells at me, making me back up. The officer tells her that she will be staying in jail again, she pushed him off and grabbed Spencer, I put my hand on his chest. "He's coming. He's coming back, and there's nothing you can do about it! Do you hear me?! Nothing, nothing!" The officer stands up and grabs her. As he pulls her away, she drops something.
"Hey officer. She dropped this." I said as I picked it up." He puts his hand up. "It's harmless." I shook my head. The women grabs it out of my hands.
"Thank you." She calmed down.
"What is it?" I asked her. She begins to play it. It was a whistle.
"A psycho with a whistle. That's not too weird." Spencer jokes. I chuckled.
"Perks of having this job." I smirked back at him, walking in. Later in the day, the men came back from the crime scene.
"Early toxilogical investigations of the victim's blood indicated high levels of ketamine." Spencer said as he printed out the toxic-screen of our victim, giving the paper to Hotch.
"Ketamine is primarily a horse tranquilizer. It's also used as a date-rape drug. In street lingo, it's known as being stuck in a k-hole." Hotch tells the police men, giving out the profile.
"So his victims were completely conscious when he killed them?" The sheriff asked. "Imagine what she must have gone through."
"It's essential for this unsub that he sees the terror in his victim's eyes. That is what gets him off."
"He's either had medical training, or he's honed his skills over the years." I sat up from the desk I was siting on.
"Look for a man in his mid- to late-fifties, highly intelligent, methodically and obsessively clean."
"His vehicle is most likely an rv, muted in color, neither old nor new, in perfect working order."
"It will have a cb, radar detectors, and police-band radio. All these things have helped him evade you."
"And this vehicle is his killing room. It'll be soundproofed. Surgical instruments are on the walls. There's a stirrup chair or an autopsy table in it."
"All of his kills are recorded... If not on video, in a journal that he carries with him in his right-hand inside jacket pocket."
"How could you know that?" Asks one officer.
"Tool marks on the remains indicate that he's left-handed."
"This man is void of all normal human feelings."As we were done giving the profile, we headed out.
"We have roadblocks on every interstate, track or laned in or out of this town. We'll shut down this state if we have to." Said Silo, the officer, getting his gun.
"Stop every rv, truck, and trailer." Hotch announces. We headed to a place that had RVs after Gideon and Emily were done talking to the women from earlier. "We set up a nationwide tip line, but all we've really got so far is white male, mid- to late-fifties, tall, with a medium build."
"From the remains discovered this morning, we know he doesn't keep his victims long."
"We've got more cops arriving by the hour to help find this guy. We also put out a nationwide a.p.b."
"If he is still in this town, and we believe he is, hes not going anywhere." I said as I crossed my arms.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go catch this s.o.b." We all spread out. I went with Hotch knocking on doors, getting no answers an even they haven't seen a guy like we described to them. Hotch, Gideon, Morgan and I walked up to the sheriff, telling them the new lead we got.
"We have to get back into town and search garages, warehouses, any place someone could hide a large trailer." Gideon marches up to them.
"Like you said, he never takes victims when he's here. So if he's not going anywhere and he hasn't got anyone, we can wait till the morning." We cant wait till morning, by then, he'll be gone.
"Wait? We can't wait."
"The men are tired, I'm tired. We got roadblocks on every road."
"Gideon, she's right."
"We could wait till first light, gideon."
"Gideon, we gotta rest too." I told him. He scuffs.
"Do what you like. I'm gonna find him." He storms off. We all sighed.
"It's gonna be a long night." Morgan chases after him.
"I'm sorry. I got to relieve my men and get back to the office."
"I understand. I'll talk to him." Hotch and I followed the men. We finally caught Gideon, calmed him down and drove back to the motel where we were staying. It was late, I just wanted to sit down, these heels were killing me. Then I heard a knock.
"God no." I made my way to the door.
"The sheriff is missing, lets go." Hotch said, i grabbed my heels and gun and headed to the car. We made it to the sheriffs house, scanning the room.
"All clear." I shouted, putting away my gun. Silo came around, and was going to pick up the jug that was on the floor.
"Silo, silo, don't touch anything. We need to profile this room." Derek stops him.
"Profile?! You said the call was made 5 hours ago by the unsub right outside this house! Now what's the profile?! He took george!" He yelled at us, pointing fingers.
"Why?" Gideon whispers. This doesn't make sense.
"All right, we need to work fast."
"All right, she enters the house, and then does her regular routine." I turned back to the team.
"Ok, she drops her keys, hits the answering machine, takes off her gun belt. Then moves throughout the kitchen."
"He's never taken anyone of prominence. Why take the sheriff?"
"And not her gun." Hotch looks down, there was her gun. "Silo, call your office. See if she was planning to meet anyone."
"No way a cop would take chase without their gun. Definitely looks like she tried to make a go for it." Reid puts on a glove and bent down to get something from under the table.
"But she didn't make it." Spencer holds up a needle.
"Guys..." Silo gets off the phone. "George brought crazy jane home with her."
"So, he takes control of george, then goes after what he came here for."
"Crazy jane."
"Those footprints," we looked back at the juice that was spilled on the floor. "they got to be jane's. They go to the back. She escapes. The unsub knows the ketamine's gonna wear off, so he's got to act."
"No. He hasn't got what he came here for."
"So for leverage, he takes the sheriff, which means sooner or later, he'll contact us." We looked around for more clues but came up empty until Hotch got a call. "Katherine hale's cell phone just came back on in the middle of town."
"Let's do this." Silo runs out.
"He thinks we have jane." Gideon follows Silo.
"Which means he wants a trade." Morgan walks out.
"Whatever he wants, we need to find jane and the sheriff fast."
"Morgan go to town, we'll go to jane's." Morgan and Gideon left, while Reid, Emily, Hotch and I went to janes. We drove to her house, surrounding the place. The four of us had the front door, and I looked at the chimes that we're hanging on front.
"Guys!" I raised my voice. "These wind chimes are made of bone! I think it's human rib bones." We all looked around, there were a lot of chimes, the right rib, the missing ones from the victims. The one I touched to give Jane. We kicked the door, scanned the room again. Nothing. Emily and I took down every rib bone, giving it to evidence.
"Well, he's obviously been here before and left these gifts for her."
"How romantic."
"definitely telling my boyfriend to gift me this." I joked as I put a bone in the bag.
"His version of romance."
"What... are you trying to say you think he keeps coming back here because he's in love with her?"
"That's impossible. A sexual sadist can't feel love."
"Well, define love."
"Chemically, it involves surging brain elements called monoamines, dopamines, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Love chemicals controlled by phenethylamine, also found in..."
"Chocolate." Emily finishes.
"I love chocolate." I hummed, smiling with Emily.
"Peas, too! It's also found in peas!"
"Peas?" We turned to him confused. Alwaysed hated peas.
"Reid, stop. Please. Spread out, everybody. Keep looking." Hotch cuts him off. He kept looking in this barn that was on the premises. "Lets go." We followed Hotch to the barn, getting our guns out. "Fbi!" We waked around, Spencer opens the curtain. There was the RV we were looking for. Reid opens the door, Hotch and I got in. The RV was filling with medical equipment, posters. "Clear." I saw the table that was filled with blood. "I thought I'd seen everything. Guys." All of us were shocked to see this. Hotch pulled our attention.
"What is it?"
"It's a coffin." He opens it and there was a dead body already in there. I looked down, I was stepping on one.
"Hotch, there's another coffin over here." Emily and I opened it. The sheriff was in there, alive. Hotch jumps in.
"It's ok. Don't try to speak. We've got you." He helps her out.
"Thank god." She gasps out. We took the sheriff to get check out, once she got the okay, she wanted us to go to the diner were Gideon and Morgan were, since her husband was already there. We arrived and she ran to her husband's arms. They were talking about the women Hotch found was her sons teacher and then a school bus, the driver was killed.
"How?! We had the whole town shut down. There was no way out." She turned to us.
"What was the one vehicle we weren't looking for?" Hotch asks us.
"A school bus."
"More importantly, where are the children?" I pointed out. A cop car came, we all headed to the man.
"Sir, I found her walking the streets." He opens the door and Jane came out.
"Jane, he's been coming back to this town for years to see you." I helped her out.
"All those years? why?"
"He says he's in love with you."
"He's in love with me? Why?!" She started to panic.
"That's what he says."
"He hides out in your old barn, and he watches you, and when he leaves, he leaves these wind chimes as gifts." Emily steps in.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" She showed her the bone.
"They're not beautiful. They are the remains of people he took, tortured, and killed. He is not an alien. You were abducted by a serial killer."
"But he did come for me, didn't he? Not george! He came for me, didn't he?"
"That's what he says."
"You told me to run, but I didn't want to run. I wanted to see him again, to see his eyes and see his face. And I don't know... Somehow it just felt like I was coming home."
"Jane!" The unsub cried out. Janes gasps, George, Emily and I held her back.
"He has the children, jane!"
"He has our children."
"And we will find them." Morgan says as he grabbed the unsub.
"And if we don't, they'll die of exposure! He hasn't got tommy, george, but what if he did? Hand him over."
"Silo." George hold him back.
"What choice do we have?"
"Not this one!" The unsub looks at Gideon. Talking to him, smiling. Jane kept fighting with me and Emily to get to him, we were pulling her back.
"Leave her alone!" He yells. Silo charged up to him but Morgan pushes him back. Gideon took the unsub to where the missing kids were, by himself, only him Jane and the unsub. Nobody was allowed to follow. We stayed back, blinded, waiting for Gideon. Night fell, we got the call from Gideon, meeting him. He found the kids safe and sound. Emily and I went with kids who's parents were here yet, calming them down as the others went west. The son of a bitch got away.
