We were at the crime scene in California. It was a possibility of one of the two girls that went missing. When we arrived, people were standing by, trying to get a look.

"Have you ID'd the body?" Hotchner asked the head detective on the case.

"It's a girl." We headed down a steep hill, Rossi had to help me down there.

"One of the missing girls?"

"All I can tell you right now is it's a girl."

"Did you draw up a list of those involved in the search?"

"You're gonna find the parents of the girls on that list."

"Please tell me they didn't discover the body." I said as we followed the detective, still. Imagine that, you're parent- it just gives me goosebumps.

"No. As soon as our dogs caught her scent, we kept them away from the scene."

"She'd been missing 18 hours?"

"That's correct. We found the body 5 hours ago."

"The parents have been here all this time?" I turned around with JJ, looking at the parents who were trying so hard to get inside but where being held back.

"Yeah. And I'm running out of excuses."

"I'm gonna go talk to them." JJ said as she heads to them.

"JJ, I'll come with you." Morgan follows. I pulled out my gloves, to examine the body.

"Her face and her hands have been obliterated." We hovered over the body. This was gruesome. I'm just glad that the parents didn't see this. Reid and I squatted down to examine more.

"Developed bruises, cuts, layer upon layer." I started to point it out.

"Bindings cut deep into her flesh."

"And around her neck there's heavy bruising. She was strangled to death."

"A belt was used. You can see the indentation marks of a buckle."

"But why destroy her hands and face?" I picked myself up, taking off my gloves.

"It indicates she knew the attacker." Due to this, we didn't know which girl it was. She was unrecognizable. I started to get a little headed.

"One thing's for sure-- this is only the dump site. We need to figure out where she was killed."

"And which girl we're looking for." Aaron noticed that I took a moment and helped me up the hill and into the car.

We headed up to the Chula Vista police department as Garcia send us the audio of the phone call that the girls made. Supposedly there was a call made from Katie's phone and might help us.

"It lasts exactly 54 seconds, and then it goes dead. I think she was strangled." Garcia said through video call. By the sound of her voice, it wasn't pretty. Hotch played the audio. It was so disturbing. One of them was screaming out for her dad, crying, hoping that they come and save them. Rossi said to let the parents hear the audio, even though we said not to. But it was the only way to know who was killed. And DNA would take forever to get back to us.

We gather the parents, played it for them. Even though the audio was 54 seconds, it felt like an eternity to hear the screaming.

"P-play it again." Mr. Owens was in denial. It was Katie screaming for help.

"Mr. Owen..." I said softly.

"That's not Katie. I know her voice. That's not her. That's not Katie." He kept repeating. The mother, god, she lost it. Lindsey's father took both parents to get fresh air.

"I want Lindsey's picture everywhere."

"What they did to Katie took a long time. It was very violent and we know Katie screamed. Yet no calls from complaining neighbors. Why?"

"They're weren't any."

"The abduction site is 9 miles north of the dump site on the edge of town." We followed Reid into the conference room and he showed us the map. "Both are indicators of a comfort zone, so I'm assuming the kill site is somewhere between these 2 points."

"That's a wide area."

"Do a grid search. Narrow it down to wooded areas, industrial sites, abandoned houses. He needed privacy and he needed a controlled environment."

"What's critical right now is a heavy police presence."

"Rossi, in the morning I want you, Reid, morgan to go in and search jack Vaughan's house. Prentiss, you and I will go to where the girls were last seen. Santos, you stay with JJ and comfort the parents." Hotch made it real clear that I'm grounded. No more chasing down unsubs, no more talking to possible unsubs. Pretty much anything that will harm me or the twins. Sucks but hey, i get to spend some time with JJ.

As we let Mr. and Mrs. Owens calm down, JJ and I sat down, taking a break as well. I slowly sat down on the chair.

"How it is like having twins?" JJ smiles.

"Two of everything, my boyfriend and I have been over the walls. Then his mom is staying for a while, So will my dad and stepmom." They had fought with us, they didn't take no for an answer, even Marissa and my dad joined forces. "But at the end, It'll be worth it." JJ looks at my stomach, she just had something in her face. "You want any?"

"Thinking. Any names?"

"We're sticking with Xavier, but we we're thinking about Ezekiel or Enrique."

"Their all pretty names." The fantasy was over when the team came back. They found one of the unsubs dead. JJ and I were putting up the profile on the board and putting his picture up. He couldve been 18 or so, still young.

"His name's Doug Silverman. He went to the same high school as Katie and Lindsey." Mr. Owens confirms.

"Maybe. I don't know. Why? Has he got something to do with this?" The mother said, looking closer to the picture.

"All we know right now is he was involved. There are others." I told him as I put the picture down.

"So this has nothing to do with Jack."

"No."

"Why, I vetted every boy that came into Katie's life, made sure I knew everything about them." The father excuses himself to apologize to Jack. JJ and I headed back to the table. Later on, I sat down with Reid, looking at the other possible Ryans that went to the school.

"He's taken my car." The Marshall, Pat, the one looking out for Jack came inside, covering his bloody nose. "The bastard took my car. This is pat mannan. All units, all units, I want an APB out on Jack Vaughan." He called it in. Spencer went to call Hotch, to warn him.

"You gotta find him, and fast." Pat tells Reid as he was trying to find the location on the map.

"What does it look like I'm doing?"

"Coloring in a map." He scuffs.

"Back off! Let him do his job, at least he does his." I called him out. Pat stands back.

"All the activity is focused in the southeastern district. The abduction site, the dump site, Ryan Phillips's house." Reid circles the area. An officer comes in and gives us a statement.

"There's gunshots coming from Jackson street." Could be where they have Lindsey. Pat turns to Reid, and again, Reid still on the board. "Are you coming?" He said nothing and Pat left. I stayed with Reid in case of anything.

"Call Hotch for me, please." I took out my phone and dialed and handed to Spencer. "After inputting all the sites, I've come up with a 2-dimensional probability service overlay map that indicates the offenders' operating area." I can just hear Hotch telling him where are they. "I know it sounds crazy, but I think he's taken her to the Mayford high school 2 blocks from here." Reid hangs up, gives me back my phone.

"Papito!" I called for him just as he was going to leave. Reid turns around. "Be careful."

"I will." He nods and leaves.

I made it home, Luke wasn't back from work yet. I plopped on the couch and turned on the tv. I couldn't stop looking at my swollen belly. Just a couple of months until they're going to here, in my arms, in this home, loved by me and Luke.

"I promise you both, you will be so loved. Nothing will ever happen to you." I got hungry so I headed to the kitchen. I opened the fridge door, humming, tapping my fingers to see what I can have. "What do you want? Peanut butter sandwich? Grilled cheese?" Why not both. I pulled the stuff out, started to make my food. Is it possible that food can be so much better while pregnant?  This peanut butter sandwich tastes wayyyy better than it did before I was.

"We're back!" Luke sang as he comes from the front. I peaked my head out and saw that Marissa was with him.

"Aye mira!" She smiles, giving me a hug and then looking down. "You need to sit, I'll finish cooking for you. Relax Hazel." Luke playfully rolled his eyes and gives me a kiss.

"And it begins." He whispers to me. I gave him a bit of my sandwich and he sat next to me. "How you been?"

"Ive been okay. The boys been a little kicky today."

"Here you go mija." Marissa hands me the plate of the other sandwich. "Have you finished the second room?" She looks at Luke.

"I just have to build the crib and the dresser." She shakes her head at him. "Sorry I have a job mami."

"Good thing abuela is here." She started to organize the kitchen. Luke tells her not to but she doesn't listen. "Hazel, are your parents coming?"

"Yeah in a few weeks when the date is closer." My dad is excited, already pack a bag just in case the due date was earlier. Ever since he found out that it was boys, man I never seen him this happy ever since Gerardo finally got a girlfriend. "Marissa, thanks for staying. Luke and I are very happy."

"Its no problem mija, I cant wait for these ninos to come. Plus i do think Luke already wants me to leave."

"I did not say that." Luke laughs it off.

"Mijo, I gave birth to you. I know you. You have that look that you're already tired of me. Your father had the same look whenever tu abueltia came over."

"Im happy you're here mama." He kiss his mom on the cheek as he made his way to get something to drink. "You are always welcomed to come by."

"Well, Im going to bed. I'll see you all tomorrow." I said as I hopped off the chair. Marissa ran to my side, held my arm, helped me up the stairs and to my room. When I got to bed, I heard her and Luke arguing about how he needs to help me with the stairs and all. The argument stopped and Luke came in. He changed into his pjs and hopped in bed with me, wrapping his arms around me, kissing my shoulder.

"This is going to be fun."

"Oh come on Luke." I faced him, playing with his hair. "She's just trying to help out."

"Or just here to hover over me." I cracked a smile.

"She loves you. Just a few weeks and everything will be back to normal." He kisses me again. "Good night."

"Good night mi amor."
