"Who's up there?" Stinger asked, walking into the control room as Mustang looked at him nervously.

"Cougar and Merlin with Maverick and Goose"

"Yeah and who else? Don't bullshit me" Stinger looked at him while crossing his arms.

". . .Chaos and Bullet" He almost whispered.

The man sighed "Great. The Mitchell siblings" He said sarcastically.

"Bullet, talk to me" Chaos asked her RIO.

"Roger, I got him. Contact, twenty left at thirty miles. Nine-hundred knots closure" Bullet informed after picking up the bogey on their radar.

"Cougar, you hear that?" Maverick asked, his infamous smirk on his face.

"Roger, Merlin, you got him?" Cougar asked his RIO.

"Roger, I've got radar contact" Merlin replied, looking at the radar.

"I'll get a visual ID" Maverick told them before his sister spoke up.

"Already on it Mav" Chaos peeled off to the right, to high cover position; five o'clock as Maverick chuckled.

"Alright Cougar, you hook him"

"Mustang. Mustang, this is Ghost Rider, 203. I've got him inbound, bogey heading 270. We're at ten miles, nine hundred knots closure" Cougar told the control tower.

"Merlin, see if he's a single" Cougar told him.

Merlin nodded, looking at the radar "Roger. Bullet, you see a trailer?"

"Negative, Merlin" Bullet responded before speaking again "All right, looks like he's a single"

"Cougar, I'm gonna go head to head with him"

Cougar then looked over at the girl's aircraft "Take it easy, Chaos. I don't like the crazy shit you and your brother seem to pull. I'm gonna break high and right, see if he's really alone"

"We've got 1,000 knots closure, Mav" Goose told his partner "He's coming towards Chaos"

"Okay, buddy, what's on your mind?" Maverick whispered looking at the unidentified aircraft when suddenly they split, revealing another one flying next to it.

"Oh shit Chaos, there's two of them, MiG-28s" Bullet exlaimed "No one's ever been this close before"

"Okay here's the plan. Cougar, Mav, you've got MiG one. I'm going after MiG two" Chaos told the two as her eyes were dead set on the aircraft she needed to take down.

It was a few seconds before Cougar spoke "I lost him in the sun" He informed "Shit. What he's doing? You got him, Merlin?"

Merlin started to look around for the aircraft "He's coming around. He's coming around on our tail"

"God damn it. This bogey's all over me" That's when Cougar started to panic and everyone could hear it in his voice.

"Air speed, three hundred" Bullet told Ivy "Go get him, Chaos"

"I'm going for missile lock" Chaos made everyone aware as she switched to missiles "Let's shit this motherfucker up" She then tried getting a lock on the MiG but it was proving to be slightly difficult "Come on, lock up baby. Lock up"

"Bingo!" Chaos cheered "I got him locked"

"We got him Maverick, he's bugging out and going home" Bullet told them before contacting the control tower "Mustang, this is Bullet. MiG two is headed home"

"Cougar, he's got missile lock on us" Merlin said as a loud beeping sound broke into their headsets "Get away from this guy"

"What the hell is this shit? He's engaging me. God damn it, Mustang. This is Ghost Rider, one, one, seven, this bogey's all over me. He's got missile lock on me. Do I have permission to fire?"

"Do not fire until fired upon" Stinger said what everyone expected even though it was wrong.

"Bullet, there they are" Chaos said to her RIO after spotting Cougar and the MiG "Right below us"

"The MiG's in perfect firing position. He's right on Cougar's tale" Bullet analysed how close the MiG was to Cougar and Merlin's aircraft.

"No way, Bullet. He'd have fired by now. He's just trying to piss us off" Maverick added in.

"Well it's working" Ivy mumbled, starting to fly her aircraft lower.

"Chaos, Maverick. I don't care which one of you it is, just get down here and get this asshole off me!" Cougar panicked.

"Easy, Cougar. Don't go all batshit crazy on me now. Bring it back, hard right. Help me engage. I'm on the way"

"I can't shoot this son of a bitch" Ivy cursed before turning her head slightly to look at Theo behind her as she smirked "You ready to have some fun, Bullet?"

"Do I even have a choice-oh shit Chaos!" Theo shouted as Ivy just flipped into an inverted dive like it was nothing "A warning would've been nice!"

"What's the fun in that?" Chaos chuckled as they were nearly canopy to canopy with the MiG aircraft. The pilot acknowledged them with a weak wave and Chaos stared at him for a second before flipping him the bird "Greetings"

Maverick and Goose were flying beside Chaos and Bullet as he chuckled at his sister's antics "Watch the birdie" Goose joked and took a polaroid of the two aircraft's "God, I crack myself up"

Theo had also took a polaroid of the MiG aircraft and it's pilot. He smiled when he saw the finish product "This is a great shot, Chaos. I should be a photographer"

Ivy chuckled "Yeah whatever you say Bullet. Okay Cougar, your tail is clear. MiG one's bugged out" But Cougar couldn't even come out with a response and instead he just sat there, shaking in fear and gasping for air.

"Cougar, this is Maverick. We've had enough fun for one day, don't you think? I'm getting a little low on fuel, so we're heading home" Maverick said into his headset, taking a sharp left towards the aircraft carrier.

"Don't be too long, Cougar. We'll see you on deck" Chaos told him before she too headed towards the aircraft carrier when she heard Merlin shouting at Cougar that they were low on fuel and needed to land.

"Mav, it sounds like Cougar's in trouble can you get to him or do you need us?" Ivy asked her brother.

"Don't worry about him Chaos, we're gonna bring him back in" Maverick told her as she nodded even though he couldn't see her.

"Chaos, you're at three-quarters of a mile, call the ball" Someone in the control tower ordered.

"Roger. Chaos has the ball" She then landed her aircraft while Maverick took back off as soon as his landing wheels touched the ship. Ivy smiled knowing he was doing the right thing.

Cougar came out of Stinger's office and bumped into Goose and Maverick on his way out as the two pilots plus Chaos and Bullet were waiting to be invited in to the office.

"Cougar!" Maverick called out to him as he stopped in his tracks and turned to them.

"Thanks, Maverick" Was all he said before walking off leaving four confused navy aviators.

"Maverick, Goose, Chaos, Bullet. . .get in here" Stinger called out as the four walked in to his office and stood to attention.

"Maverick, you just did an incredibly brave thing" Stinger said, taking a very long drag from his cigar "What you should have done was land your plane. You don't own that plane, the taxpayers do. Son, your ego is counting checks your body can't cash. You've been busted. You lost your qualifications as section leader three times. Put in hack twice by me"

He sighed "And don't even get me started on you Chaos. You both have a history of high-speed passes over five air-control towers and Maverick, one admiral's daughter"

"Penny Benjamin?" Goose whispered to Maverick who just shrugged honestly which Chaos took as a yes.

"And you, asshole" Stinger said, getting out of his seat and standing face to face with Goose "You're lucky to be here" He then glanced over at Bullet "Both of you"

"Thank you, sir" They said at the same time while standing up straighter.

"And let's not bullshit you two, your family name ain't the best in the Navy" Stinger told the two siblings and Ivy had to bite her lip to stop herself from snapping at the man "You need to be doing it better and cleaner than the other guy. Now what is it with you two?"

"We just wanna serve our country, be the best fighter pilots in the Navy, sir!" Chaos said as Stinger took a seat on the edge of his desk which was directly in front of Chaos and Maverick.

"Don't screw around with me Chaos. You two are hell of instinctive pilots. Maybe too good. God Chaos, you're the first woman to ever make it through the Navy's academy and when I tell you I'd like to bust your butts I mean it. But I can't, because I've got another problem here. I gotta send somebody from this squadron to Miramar" Ivy couldn't believe it as she looked at her brother who shared the same shocked expression as his sister "I gotta do something here. I still can't believe it. I gotta give you both your dream shot. I'm gonna send you up against the best. You four characters are going to Top Gun"

Ivy smirked as she looked her RIO beside her who also had a small smirk on his face "For five weeks, you're gonna fly against the best fighter pilots in the world. Chaos you were number two and Maverick number three. Cougar was number one. Cougar lost it, and turned in his wings. Chaos you're number one and Maverick you're number two. But you remember one thing. You screw up just this much" Stinger held up his hands showing the tiniest bit of room between his fingers "You'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir!" Maverick and Chaos said in unison.

Stinger nodded and went back over to his desk "That is all" He dismissed as the four aviators walked towards the door with smiles on their faces before coming to a halt when Stinger spoke.

"Gentlemen, Lady" Stinger said as they all turned their heads to look at him "Good luck"

"Thank you, sir" They answered and as soon as they were out of Stinger's office, Maverick wasted no time in pulling his sister in for a hug as he spun her around.

Ivy chuckled as she looked at her brother "We're going to Top Gun baby!" Maverick proclaimed.

"Hell yeah we are! The best of the best" Ivy said as Theo then pulled her in for a hug while Maverick went and hugged Goose.
