"Aww, thanks Theo" Ivy smiled up at him as he came round the side of the car and opened her door for her before she even had chance to touch the handle.

"Anything for my favourite lady" Theo winked making her chuckle as she got out of his car.

It's been a hard couple days of classes and training at Top Gun so what better way to relieve some stress than to play Volleyball down at the beach. Ivy whistled jokingly when her and Bullet walked down to where the Volleyball net had been set up "Looking good boys"

It was Maverick and Goose versus Iceman and Slider, all of them apart from Goose had their shirts off to show off their abs "Hey, you made it" Pete smiled at his sister who came over to hug him then Goose. Well it was more of a side hug because of how  sweaty they both were.

"Hey man" Theo said and gave Goose and Maverick a brotherly hug.

"Yeah well I couldn't miss the looks on their faces when we kick their ass" Chaos shrugged, smirking over at Iceman and Slider.

"Alright Chaos, how about you and Bullet play the winners which is clearly gonna be me and Slider over here" Iceman looked at her, a confident expression on his face and of course gum in his mouth.

Chaos nodded "You're on Iceman" She then turned her head back to Goose and her brother "Good luck"

"Let's go!" Maverick clapped his hands with a smile and the game commenced. Theo and Ivy were sat on the bleachers with a bottle of beer in their hands and the song Playing With The Boys By Kenny Loggins was playing in the background on a speaker that one of the pilots had brought with them.

Chaos watched as Iceman served the ball towards Maverick who hit it to Goose who hit it back to Maverick before Pete then spiked the ball over the net. But Tom had managed to stop them from scoring and hit the ball to Slider who sets it up for Ice. Maverick dove and hit the ball before hitting it to Goose who hit it back to Maverick. Pete then spiked the ball over the net and Ice went and dived for it but missed so Goose and Maverick won the first point.

Chaos smiled and leant back on her elbows slightly as she took another sip of her beer "So how did your date go last night?" Bullet asked causing her to nearly choke on her drink.

"It wasn't a date Theo, it was just two friends going out for drinks. But seen as you really wanna know, yeah it was fine" She shrugged.

Theo smirked "Just fine, huh? Have you seen the way he's looking at you"

Ivy turned her head and slightly and to her surprise, Tom was looking directly at her as he sent her a small smile. Ivy turned back to look at Theo who had a 'I told you' look on his face "I'm not even talking about this with you anymore"

Bullet chuckled and took a sip of his beer "It's okay to admit that you're in denial" Ivy didn't even reply and just gave him the middle finger making him laugh even more.

The game continued for a little while when Slider hit the ball over the net and Maverick dove to hit but missed meaning they were now even.

"Wooo!" Slider cheered as Ivy and Theo chuckled. The game then continued and Iceman started by the hitting the ball over the net. In the end, Maverick and Goose had won as she watched the two boys cheer and do their handshake the four had made up back in high-school. Chaos smiled when that memory popped into her head but it soon turned into frown when she saw Maverick checking his watch before jogging over to where her and Theo was sat. He then grabbed his t-shirt and slid it over his head.

"Hey, what's up man?" Theo beat her to it as Mav grabbed his jacket.

"Just got some plans to take care off" Mav said like it was no big deal.

"And would them plans be with a certain instructor called Charlie Blackwood?" Ivy whispered with a smirk and by the look on his face, she was right like always "You can't lie to me Mav, I'm your older sister. I know when something's up"

Maverick sighed "Okay then maybe I am going to see Charlie but you're acting like it's illegal or something"

"Well she is one of our instructors but ya know what, go for it man" Theo patted Maverick on the shoulder "You only live once"

"Exactly" Pete smiled before moving over to Ivy and kissed her on the forehead "I'll see you soon, all right?" She looked up at him and nodded. He patted Goose on the shoulder before making his way to his bike "I'm sorry again Goose, I'll make it up to ya!"

"Yeah you better!" Goose shouted back as Maverick got on his bike and waved to the three before driving off.

"Okay, so how about us three against Slider, Ice, and Sundown" Ivy suggested and the two boys nodded.

"Let's do this shit!" Goose exclaimed making Ivy chuckle as them two went over to Ice and Slider while Ivy took another swig of her drink before taking off her shirt. Pilots looked her way as she stood in a black bikini top, her low waisted jeans that showed off her hot, toned body and her dog tags hung from around her neck. She then put her aviators on her head to keep the hair from getting in her face.

What made her turn around was the voice of Theo shouting and a groan "Hey man, stop staring at her like that!" Ivy couldn't contain her laugh since Theo had thrown the ball directly into his chest.

"You see something you like Ice?" Chaos asked with a smirk, walking over to them.

Iceman couldn't reply for a second because he was hypnotised by the girl in front of him "Maybe" He shrugged, trying to play it off cool but Ivy could see right through him.

"You're a really shitty liar Kazansky" Ivy smirked and went and stood in between Goose and Theo "You guys ready?" She looked at the three boys who all had the same cocky grin on their faces.

"Hell yeah we are!" They said as Ice, Slider and Sundown all lined up on the other side of the net.

"All right, let's go!" Chaos clapped her hands as the next song came through the speaker By Bryan Adams; Summer Of '69.

Tom had to admit that he was struggling to focus on the game because the second Ivy took her shirt off, he just couldn't look away. She was beautiful. And it wasn't just Ice that was having trouble on watching the game, Ivy had a lot of eyes looking her up and down or just sending her a smile when she looked their way.

"Great balls of fire!" Goose cheered when he got the last point for his team making them the winners "Now that's how you do it baby!" They were all now drenched in sweat from the sun beaming down on them the whole time.

Ivy smiled and thanked Theo went he passed her and Goose a beer so they could cool down before downing his own "Not bad Chaos, not bad" Iceman said after ducking under the net and walking over to her.

"The Mitchell's just do it better" She joked and the blonde chuckled in response "You want a beer?" She asked, holding up her own.

Ice nodded because that also meant getting to spend more time with her so he took the chance "Yeah sure"

Ivy smiled and walked over to the cooler to grab another beer before sitting down on the sand next to the blonde pilot "Thanks Ivy" The pilot paused at hearing her first name come out of Tom's mouth because he only ever called her by her call sign. It made her smile.

She didn't say anything and instead leant back on her shoulders, and placed her aviators back on her face to shield her eyes from the sun as another group of pilots got ready for the next game.
