•Y/n's POV•

I flipped and turned in my empty bed, finally laying on it and embracing the fact that I can't sleep. I got up and whipped a jacket around me as the air was cold. I looked at the clock to see it was 2:00 am. I needed water bad, along with something to eat. I haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. I quietly open the door and looked around to see nobody in sight.

A couple of minutes later I get my food from the pantry and take some also for Daryl. I cautiously make my way to Daryl's door and slid down bread and meat with a plate of water since the opening under the door was not as revealing for a cup. "Who are you?" I hear an unfamiliar voice say behind me say; having me flinch as I turned around.

I saw a girl around my age holding a gun at me but lowered it slightly. "Aren't you the new girl?" I nod, trying to figure out what I should say about this situation. "What are you doing here? You better not be trying to do something stupid." "I wasn't." I mean it wasn't really a lie. "What were you doing then?" I tried to keep my cool as I responded with another lie: "I was just looking for pads..."

While she walked closer, she eyed me: looking into my eyes for the slightest lie. "...Look, I know you are lying, I am not an idiot, but I won't say anything about this just this once. But don't do it again." Dang, why is everyone so tight up around here. I nod, not knowing what else to say. She then walks away and down one of the hallways, leaving me in confusion about who she was.

•Rylee's POV•

I didn't know who to talk to about what I just saw about Enid. I don't know what to do about this. As I splash cold water on my face I got an idea. The only person I know that could help and be sneaky with this is Carol. I quickly get dressed and rush out the door to visit her. I knock on her door and wait anxiously, looking around me - I see from a distance Carl and Enid walking together. I felt a slight inch of anger inside me but it was all thrown away once Carol opened the door. "Hey Rylee-" "I need to talk to you, asap," I cut her off as I step into her house. "Is anyone here?"

"No." "Good." I step into the kitchen and sat down on one of the counter chairs. "You can't tell nobody about this, but I need help." "Go on." she said while grabbing something she baked out of the oven and then placing it on the counter. "I saw Enid talking to something, a walkie-talkie I think, but it wasn't one of ours though." Carol looked intrigued by the subject and stopped whatever she was doing to give her full attention to me. "Do you recognize the voice she was talking to?" "No, it sounded like a man but I feel like I heard that voice before but I just don't know who."

Carol sighed before responding, "I always knew something was up with that girl, I always thought it was just me though. Good thing you feel this way too." I nodded my head and said, "Yeah me too, and..." "..And what Rylee? Is it about Carl?" I shot my head up at her. "H-How did you-" "It's kinda obvious when you look at him with Enid - well to me it is, I think."

I chuckled before responding: "Well yes it is about Carl. She is so clingy with him and is always coming up to him when we are hanging out and dragging him away from me like she wants him to be alone or something." "Hmmm," Carol thought for a moment before speaking, "I got a plan, but first - let's eat and talk about this." "Oh good, I was getting ready to eat all that up." We both laughed before getting arraigned to eat.

•Y/n's POV•

Negan wanted me to meet him at the pantry, so I made my way over once I put on an outfit I was given.

In the middle of me making my way over there, I stopped when I saw a door open and a blonde woman crying. The brunette that was sitting next to her was trying to get her to stop crying. "Are you ok?" I stepped into their sight inside the nice angelic room. They looked up at me with confusion and concern. "Who are you?" "Y/n, who are you-" I now realized there were other women in the room wearing black dresses. "guys?" I finished off by looking around confused. I saw a redhead eyeing me, from what seemed like to be...jealousy I think?

"You must be new," My attention turned back to the brunette. "we are Negan's wives." My heart sank as the word wives kept replaying in my head. "W-Wives?" My voice cracked. The brunette nodded as she looked ashamed of that word. "We didn't want to be but we had no choice." I was now concerned. "What happened?" I asked. "He-" she was cut off by Negan's whistles coming near the door entrance. Damn it - I forgot to meet up with him! "Y/n, I see you met my wives. Aren't they," he came close to my ear, making sure I heard him well. "gorgeous?" I wanted to gag.

Don't get me wrong, they were all beautiful, but why? I didn't answer him, I only glared at him. He didn't even look back at me to know that I was glaring at him, which he chuckled with that toothy grin. "Sherry," Negan spoke, getting the attention of the brunette that was sitting next to the blonde woman. "I need to speak with you." She obeyed and walked over to him at the bar. I look behind me and saw Daryl holding grapes and staring at the floor.

I wanted to hug him so badly, he looked like he hasn't showered in so long along with not eating a thing. Dwight glared at me, signaling that I should look away - which I did. I looked at the blonde woman who was now having another dark haired brunette sit in silence with her. I wanted to hug her but it seemed like they didn't want Negan to know that she was crying, so I didn't do anything.

"We're done here, so you ladies can go back to chit-chatting shit," Negan pronounced as he walked up to me and places a hand on my back gently for me to walk. "c'mon darling, you got some work to do." I took one last glance at the women in the room but my eyes met the redhead who seemed to be staring me down with a flaming look in her eyes. I looked away once the door closed and tried to ignore what just happened in there.
