Ch 37: 'Natives'
[After a break, we're back, and with it I'm trying a different approach in the start of writing this chapter. More fast pace and doing a lot whilst still the same amount of words...]

[Your POV]
...Peace...
It's a concept we all hope for. Long for. One we feel we can't live without. For without peace, how else can we go about our lives? The idea of peace has been one I've chased for years now. When I was a kid, my Mom take me shopping with her. I never really liked doing it, it felt boring. But Mom refused to leave me home alone. It didn't take much for me to understand why though. Ever since Izuku died, her whole life had been protecting me. Keeping me from the possible dangers that awaited my every move. Now, sure, that's something every mother does. But my Mom decided to take that level of parenting and turn it up to a twelve on the dial. So there was no being out of her sight for at least a few good years until I reached double digits in age.
Until then, however, the only time alone I got was when I'd go to school and be in my room. Back to the point, when I was young, my Mom would take me shopping. I wouldn't say I liked it, but Mom didn't care. So I was forced to spend the time simply looking around at the world beyond my own life as a simple six-year-old. I watched as adults smiled and fellow kids laughed in delight. That's what brings me back to the idea of peace. Those adults and children, they were so intuned with peace at that time in life, that they managed this incredible skill that I have yet to truly master... Ignorance. Now, you could probably look pass the kids to realise they had no idea what the world truly was like.
But those adults, those grown people who have already been through so much, somehow managed to find the strength to smile as they go about their day in a world like the one we live in. If the ongoing war of heroes and villains wasn't enough to bring about concern; then the outright evil that this world brews for us to take in most certainly should have. It annoyed me, how easily they could look pass it all. I was just a little kid, yet I had already faced the evil of this world head-on. I knew it wasn't a fun place. I knew there was no peace to be had, at least not without knowing that just around the corner, a worse fate then you could even imagine could be waiting for you. So what was the point of peace? For the longest time, I didn't know.
I instead chose to rest my thoughts on keeping my promise to Izuku. But in the time that has followed since those dark days, I feel my ability to grasp such ignorance and false pretext has grown stronger, to the point I can now crack a smile and feel genuine happiness, if not just for a while. One such moment was right now, as I stood right outside the campsite of the training grounds my fellow classmates and I would be participating in for the next two weeks. Speaking of my classmates, they were the very reason I managed to smile right now. Their tired, dust-covered faces, as they wearily stumble to the finish line of the treacherous race they had just completed, all spawned the same look.
Yet, despite seeing so much of the same expression, I couldn't help but smile. I guess it didn't help that I had no trouble with the Earth Beasts we had just fought during our trip to arrive at the campsite. My uniform only carried small specks of dirt; whereas everyone else appeared to have crawled along the ground to avoid being defeated. Some actually did do that. But the point stood that seeing people like Bakugo be enraged by what just happened was still one of the funniest things I have seen in a while now. Enough to definitely bring on a form of ignorance in a moment like this...
Bakugo: [Aggrivated] "This is total bullshit! I mean, I like punching piles of dirt as much as the next guy. But that was total bullshit! I didn't come here to punch dirt! I came here to set (Y/n) up with women and punch weak pieces of life like Mineta!"
Mineta: "Ah! Come on, man!"
Bakugo: "Quiet, worm!"
One by one more students arrived from both Classes 1-A and 1-B. As they did, they eventually came to join me in front of building the campsite grounds were located on. In front of that, Aizawa, Mandalay, and Pixie Bob could be seen. Surprisingly, there was no sign of Mirko and Midnight at the moment. Which was odd, mainly because I thought they'd be here to greet me. Oh, well, I'm not complaining. Finishing the track from the cliffside to the campsite first had its rewards...I got to be away from Bakugo for a while. Something I probably needed now more than ever as of late. It seems ever since I got with Yaoyorozu and Hagakure, he's really been pushing the idea of me--
Bakugo: "(Y/n), there you are, pal! I was wondering where you got off too. You didn't let me finish at the cliffside about my master plan to set you up with all the Class 1-B girls in one go!"
(Y/n): [Tiredly looks at the ground] "Hey, Bakugo..."
Bakugo: "Haha! What's good, good buddy? But, hey, seriously. I'm going to need you to work with me if you want to get with all those Class 1-B girls, alright?"
(Y/n): "And what's it going to be if I, oh...I don't know..." [Turns to Bakugo] "...Don't want to get with any of them?"
Bakugo just blankly stared at me for a moment, all before instantly ignoring what I said and tossing an arm over my shoulder. He then went on some shit about setting me up with girls, I tended to block out his words, as I normally would do in a moment like this. It was in doing so that I cast my gaze to the opposite end of the group, where my first girlfriend stood by with my others. Yaoyorozu and Hagakure seemed focused on catching their breath after all that running. But Uraraka seemed to have been able to spare the time to glance my way. Upon doing so, she saw the predicament I was in and offered me an encouraging smile. It was a small piece of acknowledgement, but it was enough to get me through the moments that followed.
Unfortunately, the shared moment between Uraraka and I was quickly upended when the two members of the Wild Wild Pussycats began talking. I tried my best to listen, but with Bakugo constantly mumbling in my ear, it was hard to do much listening. So, in the end, I just tried my best to focus in on what was being said and go along with the flow. Luckily for me, and everyone else honestly, the flow soon led us to the dining hall of the campsite's main building. It was in this dining hall that two large, elongated tables with equally as elongated chairs, filled the room with ease.
It was at these two tables that the students from both classes could be seen. It wasn't really stated that we had to sit with our classes, but going off a quick glance around the room whilst eating, I found only members of each designated class' to be at the same table. I kinda wonder if the Class 1-B members were still pissed off about the whole Sports Festival thing, with not being able to win any medals at the end of it all. I decided not to focus on that as much as I instead chose to focus one eating food. And I'll say, I've never had such good rice before in my life. However, despite it being really good, I feel Kaminari and Kirishima were taking it a little TOO far with the applauses.
Kaminari: [Whilst Eating] "So good! Rice is so good!"
Kirishima: [Whilst Eating] "It's soaking into my eternal organs!"
Kaminari: "It's a match for Lunch Rush's cooking!"
Kirishima: "I can keep chewing forever! My compliments to the chief!"
Kaminari: "Forget compliments! I could kiss the chief with how good this food is dude!"
Kirishima: "I'm right with ya on that one, brother!"
Honestly...I don't know if I should be concerned with how much I managed to understand through the whole constant eating. However, I managed to keep my inner demons to myself as I continued to just watch the horror show. I wasn't alone in such, as those around me also managed to offer their thoughts on what was going on.
Sero: "They're...eating so much?"
Uraraka: "Should we tell them to slow down?"
Yaoyorozu: "They're so full of themselves. It's disgusting to watch..."
Bakugo: "Tell me about it, Princess."
Yaoyorozu: [Turns to Bakugo] "Hmm?"
Bakugo: "I mean, we all know one of the Wild Wild StreetCats made this shit--Like, Aizawa couldn't cook this, that's for sure--and yet, here those two are saying they'll kiss the chief. If anyone is going to kiss the chief, it's gonna be my boy!" [Turns to you] "Ain't that right, dude?!"
(Y/n): "Bakugo, please, just...Eat your own food."
Bakugo: "Huh? Oh! You're right. I need to keep my strength up if I'm going to put all my attention onto setting you up with more girls. Thanks, (Y/n)!"
Immediately following his statement, Bakugo began digging into his own food. As for me, I contemplated on the idea of telling Bakugo I didn't mean a single word he had just spoken from his mouth. But then I realized something...This was Bakugo I was talking to, there was no way he'd even given a flying fuck I said otherwise. So I remained silent, I was about to return to my own food when an interesting statement was brought up amongst the normal people of our group.
Sato: "Hey, has anyone else noticed that little kid standing over near the front of the room?"
Uraraka: "Oh, yeah. I've been wondering that for a while now. I wonder who he is?"
Sero: "You think he's lost?"
Iida: "I find it unlikely that he is lost. This room is full of heroes, they would help him in such a predicament."
Ashido: "Oh! Oh! What if he's secretly a hero pretending to be a kid to see if we'd go help him?"
Jiro: "Help him from what? That he's standing next to a box of vegetables?"
Ashido: "Um...Maybe?"
With my attention piqued by the conversation, I couldn't help but lift my gaze as I followed everyone else's line of sight. In doing so, sure enough, my eyes soon landed on a small kid wearing a large red hat with yellow spikey horns standing at the front of the room. Immediately I recognised him as the same kid who had been standing on the cliffside when the Pussycats arrived.
Yaoyorozu: "I'm sure everything is fine. He's probably just a child of one of the Pussycats?"
Bakugo: "That's a no go. I checked. They don't have kids."
Immediately, everyone did the exact same action. And that was instantly turning to Bakugo, to see the scruffy blonde still focused on eating his food. Honestly, it appeared like he had unconsciously spoken the words that had just came from his mouth. But all it took was a simple glance around at the table to see we all definitely heard him speak, such eventually leading me back into the conversation.
(Y/n): "Um...Hey, Bakugo?"
Bakugo: [Lifts Head] "Yeah? What's up?"
(Y/n): "Just then...You mentioned something about the Pussycats not having kids."
Bakugo: "Yeah, so?"
Uraraka: "Look, we're not mad. We just...Want to know--"
Ashido: [Stand up abruptly] "--Are you stalking those poor women?!"
Bakugo: "Stalking?! What? No! I'm not stalking anyone."
Again, everyone formed the same action. Again, it was turning to Bakugo, this time around, our combined gazes had a sense of disbelief.
Bakugo: "Oh, come on! Guys, I know I'm me. But that's too far!"
Hagakure: "Then how'd you know about it?"
Tsuyu: "Yes, are you that jealous of (Y/n) getting with so many girls that you are forced to stalk poor and unfortunate women?"
Bakugo: "What? No! Fuck off, Horny Frog!" [Groans] "Look, I just checked their social media pages. And what I saw, I'd guess they didn't have kids. They don't even have any photos with guys their age."
Uraraka: "And you did so, why?"
Bakugo did nothing but tilt his head and blink a few times.
Everyone: "...To set them up with (Y/n)."
Bakugo: "Yes, exactly."
Uraraka: [To you] "You know, I think we need to think about taking Bakugo's phone off of him. It might get him off this...strange path of constantly talking about setting you up with other girls."
Yaoyorozu: "Yes, I'm not so sure I like him doing that very much."
Bakugo: [In the background] "You know I can hear you, right?"
(Y/n): [To Uraraka] "Oh, come on. You don't think I haven't thought of that?"
Uraraka: "Well, it might help."
(Y/n): "Trust me, if it'd help. I would have done so years ago. Believe me, take his phone away, he'll just get another one. I don't even know how."
Bakugo: "Can you both stop acting like you're my parents? I'm right here."
(Y/n): [Turns to Bakugo] "Yes, Bakugo, we know you're there."
Uraraka: [Turns to Bakugo] "And we appreciate your time. But you have to understand that doing something like that can come off as creepy--"
(Y/n): "--And not needed. I'm very happy with the people I am with."
Bakugo: "...What the fuck is going on right now?!"
We simply decided to leave Bakugo in this confused state, all the while, the conversation returned to the kid standing alone at the front. But whereas the conversation went on, I couldn't help but caste my gaze his way and think of myself in a similar position. I mean, for the longest time, I always found myself standing alone in a crowd full of joyous people. So seeing this kid act the same, it made me question what got him to end up in such a similar position.
--Later That Night--
As the night went on, I ended up loosing focus on that train of thought, and instead placed it onto something else that needed to be tended to. You see, in the coming days, it'd be Yaoyorozu's Birthday. And with birthday's come a whole lot of shit I don't normally have to deal with. It doesn't help that I wasn't really thinking of something like this until I actually got together with her. But now that I was her boyfriend, I couldn't really disregard it.
So I decided to bring my topic to the guys from my class, knowing full well if I just asked Bakugo, he'd end up saying something that would probably get me in trouble. Though with not much time to get everyone together in one place, the hot springs that were positioned around the side of the campsites main building tended to be the best bet. So it was as we all soaked in the hot water, I looked up to the starry night sky above and allowed my thoughts to enter the open air.
(Y/n): "I just...Don't know what to do, you know? I mean, I really like Yaoyorozu, and I want to get her something. But we've only been dating for a few days now, and--"
Kaminari: "--She's rich--"
(Y/n): "--And I'm not sure if she'd even want me to get anything for her because--"
Kaminari: "--She's rich--"
(Y/n): "--She doesn't seem like the person who'd want something you could just tell--"
Kaminari: "--Because she's rich--"
(Y/n): "--So what do you guys think I should get her?"
Kaminari: "Nothing. Because she's--"
"RICH! WE GET IT ALREADY!"
Myself, along with everyone else for that matter, screamed in annoyance at Kaminari. The once calmly smiling blonde slowly proceeding to dunk his head under the warm water. As for myself, once I managed to calm down, I returned my focus to the others, who also sat in the warm water, and asked my question yet again.
(Y/n): "...So what should I get her?"
Iida: "A book on being a good hero?"
(Y/n): "Um..."
Bakugo: "NERD!"
Iida: "What? How is getting someone a book being a nerd?" [Laughs in nerd] "I think you're on the outer on this one, Bakugo...Haha...Right, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): "Uh...Yeah, sorry, Iida, I don't think Yaoyorozu would want a book."
Iida: "What? You think so?"
Bakugo: "Pfft! No one would want a book for their birthday. That's like getting clothes."
Iida: "But...I'd want a book?"
Bakugo: "Yeah! Because you're a nerd!"
Kirishima: "Oh! What about a boxing bag?"
Aoyama: "A sparkling dress?"
Tokoyami: "A corrupted soul?"
Sato: "A cake?"
Sero: "Comics?"
Shoji: "Shoes?"
Iida: "Oh! I know! How about school suppli--"
Bakugo: "NERD! Just, Iida, be quiet, okay?"
Iida just dropped his head, and honestly, I kinda felt like doing the same. Those were alright pieces of advice, but I couldn't help that it wasn't enough. I wanted to get something really special for Yaoyorozu, yet, whatever I thought of didn't seem to be enough. I guess that's the problem with dating a rich girl, she probably already has everything you can think of.
Bakugo: "Dude. Why don't you just ask me?"
(Y/n): [Turns to Bakugo] "Hmm? Oh, uh, sorry, Bakugo...But I think you might not be the best bet for something like this."
Bakugo: "What? Why not?"
(Y/n): "Dude...You got your Mom a stick for Mother's day. A stick."
Bakugo: "Whoa, man. That stick was awesome. It looked both like a really cool sword, and a gun! And a gun, (Y/n)! You know how rare those things are?!"
(Y/n): "Okay? And, I know that sounds awesome to us guys. But I don't think your Mom would like it very much. Let alone girls our age."
Bakugo: "Uh, well, there you're wrong. My Mom loves that stick!"
(Y/n): "Yeah?"
Bakugo: "Yep. She uses it every time she beats the shit out of me for misbehaving."
I couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing that. Mostly because I could picture that very sight. Nevertheless, I still felt like any idea Bakugo would offer just wouldn't be the right thing to choose for Yaoyorozu.
Kirishima: "Look, (Y/n), I wouldn't stress about it much, bro."
Ojiro: "Yeah, Yaoyorozu really seems to like you. Whatever you get her, I'm sure she'll be happy with."
Kaminari: [Lifts head out of water] "Yeah, dude. No sweat. You've already got the attention of every girl in the school, so seeing that tells me they don't really care for gifts that much. Ain't that right, Mineta? ...Mineta? Huh, I guess he went somewhere..."
As soon as no response came from the resident pervert of our class, I knew something was up. Though we didn't really worry about it for long. For before I could even begin to look around for Mineta, my focus was pulled back to the conversation at hand. Though, somehow, it ended up taking a turn I wasn't fully prepared for...or wanted.
Sero: "Speaking of girls your with, how does it feel, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): "Feel...?" [Thoughts] "Please don't let this conversation take a perverted turn. I already deal enough of that with Bakugo..."
Sero: "You know, having three girlfriends?"
(Y/n): [Thoughts] "Well, that's not the worst outcome I guess."
Kirishima: "Yeah, it must be pretty sick, right? I mean, you're basically living every guy's dream."
Todoroki: "Not every guys dream."
Kirishima: "Oh, calm down there, Todoroki. You may be you. But your still a boy."
Todoroki: "What's that supposed to mean?"
Tokoyami: "What he's trying to say is that because your a boy, you immediately have some part of your brain thinking about dating a bunch of girls."
Kirishima: "Yeah! I mean, you can't you haven't at least thought about what it'd be like to date so many hot girls, right?"
Todoroki: "No. I don't waste my time on things like that."
Kirishima: "Pfft! Yeah, right." [Turns back to you] "Can you get a load of this guy, (Y/n)? What a joke. Anyway, keep going about how you're living every guys dream right now?"
(Y/n): "Um--"
Bakugo: [Smirks] "--I think before you answer anything further, (Y/n), a round of applause should go my way. It's because of me that you're so happy right now. So you can thank me for that."
(Y/n): "Oh, yeah? So I can also thank you for the fact I'm going to have to pay three times as much for when I go on dates with them?"
Bakugo: "Uh, um...Well..."
(Y/n): "Actually, you know, seeing as you're so happy about all of this, after all, it's basically your dream I get with a bunch of girls--So I guess you wouldn't mind paying me back for all the money I've already spent on the girls?"
Bakugo: "...Uh...Um...Well..." [Coughs; Hesitantly looks around] "H-How much have yo--"
(Y/n): "--About $342."
Bakugo: "Wha--"
(Y/n): [Smiles brightly] "--And that's just for Uraraka! Imagine what it'll be like when I actually start going on dates with Yaoyorozu and Hagakure as well. There'll be even more to pay!"
Bakugo: "W-Well, hold on a minute. Yaoyorozu is rich, right? So why can't she just pay you back for it?"
(Y/n): "Ask my girlfriend to do such a thing? Of course not! That's not the gentlemen's thing to do, right?"
Bakugo: "Pfft! Fuck being a gentleman if it means getting me out of paying you."
(Y/n): "But...Wouldn't it go great on my girlfriend's resume if it was known I paid for things, just so any girl who is blessed with my company gets to enjoy themselves without worrying about having to pay for their meal? You want me to get with more girls, right?"
Bakugo: [Sighs; Drops head] "...Ye--"
(Y/n): "--Great! So I'll take the $342 now if that's cool!"
Bakugo: [Stares at you] "..."
(Y/n): [Stares back] "..."
Bakugo: "..."
(Y/n): "..."
Bakugo: "...You know what? Fuck this shit I'm out! I ain't paying girlfriend support! I already work too hard on getting you with the girls!"
(Y/n): "But you--"
Before I could even finish my sentence, out of nowhere Bakugo launched out of the warm water and pounced onto the firm surface behind him. In the blink of an eye he grabbed the towel that was placed on the ground, wrapped it around his lower body, and dashed out of the hot spring area. All the while we all watched with smiles as he almost ran into the door when exiting. Almost accidentally hitting that kid from the cafeteria earlier when he was walking by.
That caused a few of the boys to laugh. As for me, I went to join them. However, before I could begin doing so, my focus was pulled elsewhere when I noticed Mineta standing right in front of the large wooden wall that separated our side of the hot springs from the side the girls were on. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in curiosity. Both at why Mineta was staring at the wall. It was as if he was hoping to magically poke a hole through it or something. But that wasn't the only thing that came to mind as I looked in the same direction at Mineta.
For as I looked in the direction of the wall, I began thinking of the girls. As I did that, I began to question what exactly they could be talking about right about now. Because, I mean, when you think of guys talking, you'll go to the 'Big 3' of topics. 'Boobs; Ass; and Thighs'; at least, that's what girls, and those who are uneducated guys think we talk about all the time. But as I thought over that, the thought of what topic rested beyond this large wooden wall got me thinking...
[3rd Person POV]
"Does he not want any of this?! I mean, he's a guy, right? Guys like girls who have a body like mine! I just don't understand why he's gotta be so hard about all of this."
"That's the thing. I don't think he's like other guys in that regard."
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just say, he's not as 'hard' about this as he probably could be."
On the women's side of the Hot Spring, Mirko could be seen offering Midnight a confused look that made the Rabbit Hero's figure even more noticeable. The rabbit Hero, whose large white ears noticeably prodded from the top of her head, made even more noticeable by the fact her flowing white hair had now been positioned into a bun, currently found herself and an equally naked Midnight talking about a certain boy as they bathed themselves from a long day. A long day of chasing after a boy who didn't seem to notice them.
Midnight seemed pretty fed up by it all, going by the fact the older woman currently had her back facing Mirko, with Midnight's stomach pressed against the edge of the hot spring, whilst her breasts pushed down against the top. Further cleavage was sealed away by the crossed around that came to also rest atop the edge of the hot spring, allowing the R-rated superhero to rest her head on them. As for Mirko, she sat normally in the Hot water.
Nothing but the top of her breasts and above being seen, the rest concealed by the hot water. The scenery perfectly allowing for their conversation to have some prominent options to take up other parts of their brain, as to not make anything else any more awkward. However, even with all of this, it wasn't enough to take away from the knowing fact of others, that the two women were currently talking about a boy who had been eighteen for only a couple of months now. Yet, neither one seemed focused on that, more so on the fact that he wasn't interested in them.
Midnight: "Look, I've been chasing after that boy long enough to realize if you want to get his attention, you've gotta be one of those 'innocent' and 'cute' school girls."
Mirko: "So...What? I gotta wear a school uniform or something to get his attention? I mean, I haven't in a while. But I'm sure I could find one that still fits."
That particular notion was enough to make Midnight pick up her head from the relaxed position atop her crossed arms, and turn to Mirko with a slightly confused look.
Midnight: "No, that's not what I...You know what? Forget it." [Sighs and turns back around] "You can try that, but I'm not sure if it'll work... (Y/n) is one tough cookie to crack."
Mirko: "Tell me about it. I mean, I literally pounced on him in the hospital he was staying at, and he still didn't do anything! Even after I kissed him!"
Midnight: "Oh, please. I've been offering to give him 'private' lessons forever now. He still won't accept them. Not that'd I'd actually go there...Well, maybe..."
Mirko: "I thought you said you didn't like (Y/n)?"
Midnight: "Huh?"
That one sentence from Mirko was more than enough to regain Midnight's attention. Upon doing so, the female teacher of U.A. quickly turned her head around to meet the gaze of her opposite.
Mirko: "Yeah, remember earlier today, before we got on the bus from the school? You profusely declared you didn't like (Y/n)."
Midnight: "O-Oh, um..."
Mirko: "I mean, when I first heard it, I thought for sure you were lying. But then I remembered something. I don't want you to like him. So when I thought of that, I started hating you less!"
Surprisingly Mirko even smiled at Midnight as her sentence came to an end. Yet another thing that confused the R-rated teacher. In the end, she didn't say anything after that part. After all, if she went to defend herself, that'd showcase she CLEARLY had a thing for (Y/n)...which she didn't...she just wanted him to admit that she was attractive...That's all it ever was since the beginning...all of it...that was it. As for Mirko, she just returned to enjoying the warm water of the Hot Spring; knowing full well, sooner or later, (Y/n) would admit his love for her.
The only problem was the girls he was already dating. Not that Mirko needed their permission to make (Y/n) her lover. He was so compatible for her! And after years of being in the city, Mirko knew no one else would come close to him. So much so that Mirko would do whatever it took to make him hers and save her the time wasted by searching for another. (Y/n) was there, she might as well just take him. The only reason she was trying to get them to 'allow' her to also date (Y/n) was because that'd leave things far less messy and without bloodshed.
But hey! If things did go that way, there was no way three high school girls could beat her! So Mirko was basically going to win either way! That thought process alone was enough to make the Rabbit Hero surprisingly very friendly for the remainder of the night, something she rarely was to people. However, whereas Mirko and Midnight found themselves in their own little scene amongst the steam of the Hot Springs; not far away, the more younger females of U.A. Academy also could be seen enjoying the water. And just like their teachers, they had one particular boy on their mind.
Ashido: "So, Yao-momo, are you excited for your birthday coming up?"
Uraraka: [Smiles] "Oh, that's right! It's your birthday soon, huh?"
Jiro: "Eighteen now, huh? Things can really start to get wild now."
Yaoyorozu: [Giggles] "Yes, I am very excited, thank you. Turning Eighteen is a big deal for my family."
Uraraka: "How come?"
Yaoyorozu: "Normally turning such an age in the Yaoyorozu family means you get more responsibility, such as handling your own finances and other things like that."
Uraraka: "Oh..."
She said with a simple smile...a simple smile that completely covered the fact she didn't fully know what further responsibilities Yaoyorozu was talking about. Luckily for Uraraka, (Y/n)'s other girlfriend was more than ready to handle the conversation going forward.
Hagakure: "Sounds kind of stressful. Though, what else do you expect from being in a rich family?"
Yaoyorozu: "I suppose. But I find it a little easier having such nice friends like you all. The support I get is very appreciated."
Hagakure: "Aww! That's so sweet."
Ashido: [Chuckles] "I bet it's not the only support she gets~ Huh, Yao-Momo? Huh?"
Yaoyorozu: "I'm sorry?"
Ashido: "Oh, I'm just saying...You're going places in the world now. I mean, not only are you rich, but you have a boyfriend as well?" [Grins] "How is (Y/n) been treating you~"
Upon hearing the name of her boyfriend, Yaoyorozu was quick to blush as her gaze lowered down at the hot water she currently sat in. After all, she had only been dating (Y/n) for a few days now, and still she found herself getting excited every time she recalled it being a reality. Though, since that has happened, she had begun to receive rather teasing remarks from a few of her classmates. Such as now, with Ashido, like normal, being one of the main accusers.
Yaoyorozu: [Smiles to herself] "(Y/n) has been very nice, thank you for asking. He is kind and funny. And I am thankful Uraraka has given me the opportunity to get closer to him."
Ashido: "Yeah, I bet you wanna get closer to him~ Maybe you should have invited him to come sit with us, could have gotten a real good look at that body of his~"
Yaoyorozu: [Blushes] "Ashido, I-I do not think we need to talk about--"
Ashido: [Getting excited] "--Come on, sister! We're all big girls here, I'm sure you know that when girls together we talk about things like--" [Suddenly leans forward] "--Have you guys kissed yet or what?!"
Yaoyorozu: [Startled] "Wh-What?!"
Ashido: "Ah, ha! I'll take that as a yes!"
Yaoyorozu: "No, I--"
Tsuyu: "Have you touched each other's butts?"
Yaoyorozu: "I don--"
Ashido: [Turns to Tsuyu] "Tsu, what is it with you and butts?"
Tsuyu: [Nudges shoulder; Ribbits] "Eh. I like what I like."
That ended up being a statement Ashido could come to agree with. One person who couldn't come to agree with this entire topic, however, was Uraraka. The short brunette how carrying her own blush across her face, similar to that of Yaoyorozu, who struggled to properly think straight with how their friends were acting. Not that it really stopped Ashido or Tsuyu that is.
Ashido: "Fair. I mean, (Y/n) is hot. I'm sure all his qualities are great~"
Uraraka: [Blushing] "O-Okay, guys...come on, we really shouldn't be talking about (Y/n) like this. It's no--"
Ashido: "And why not, Ochaco? Afraid we'll all find out your boyfriend is a stud?"
Uraraka: "N...No. I just...Find it weird that we're speaking about him behind his back is all." [Turns to Yaoyorozu] "R-Right, Momo?"
Yaoyorozu: [Also blushing] "H-Huh? Oh, uh, yes. I agree. We should stop talking. It isn't fair doing so behind (Y/n)'s b-back."
Ashido: "Hmm...I guess you guys are right..." [Suddenly Smiles] "So I'll go invite (Y/n) to come get clean with us!" [Grins wickedly] "I'm sure we all wouldn't complain~"
Uraraka: "N-No! Don't!"
Ashido: "Huh?"
The sound came from Ashido's mouth just as the pink-skinned girl was getting out of the water to go fetch the aforementioned male on topic. As she did so, Uraraka found herself unable to hold back from reaching out for her friend. She didn't touch her, but the sudden action was more than enough to pause Ashido in her current position and turn around to face Uraraka. The young girl now blushing further, even as all the eyes of her friends turned to her.
Uraraka: "Don't...Um...D-Don't bother about getting (Y/n)...Yeah!" [Tries acting normal] "H-He's hanging out with his friends, and you know how boys get--" [Chuckles] "--Boys are weird."
Ashido: "I guess." [Smiles Brightly] "But (Y/n)'s hot! And hot beats out weird any day!"
Immediately following her words, Ashido goes to exit the water once more. This time around, her entire top half manages to become free from the liquid, thus revealing her chest to the majority of her friends. Such an action caused Uraraka to blush and slightly turn her head away. However, with the prospect of Ashido actually leaving to fetch her boyfriend, therefore bringing him into this wave of embarrassment she really didn't want him in, Uraraka found herself at a crossroads. There was only one thing she could do now to take control of the situation once again.
Uraraka: "I love (Y/n)!"
Ashido: [Turns head around] "Hmm?"
Slowly opening her eyes, Uraraka found everyone looking at her once more. This was her chance.
Uraraka: "Um...I...I-I just wanted to say that...lately...I've realized I love...(Y/n). Yeah. I love him. And I, uh...Wanted to share that with you all."
A moment of silence followed Uraraka's words, leaving the young girl to nervously await the outcome of her last resort. Fortunately enough, Uraraka seemed to know the language of girls quite well. For in the few seconds of silence that followed after she spoke, it was abruptly broken when out of nowhere Ashido, and everyone else, immediately gathered around the young brunette in excitement, beyond thrilled to hear Uraraka's revelation about her relationship with (Y/n). In an instant, the voices of girls squealing with glee flooded the air, all joyful and excited, offering Uraraka an abundance of smiles. However, that wave of happiness was suddenly interrupted by a sound bang sound. The cause of which, well... It wouldn't take much to guess.
--A Few Minutes Earlier--
"Pfft. This is ridiculous. The others are chilling in the water talking about birthdays and having a bunch of girlfriends. That's child's play. I don't need a girlfriend. I don't want a girlfriend. And I'm not just saying that because Bakugo said I'd have more chance of hooking up with an unappreciated old sock than getting with a girl, which isn't true at all... I'm just saying. Girlfriends aren't everything. That recalls getting into a relationship. And those are hard work. I'm not about work. I'm about having fun."
The voice speaking to themselves was, by no surprise, Mineta. The short sprout of Class 1-A could be seen standing in front of the wooden wall that separated both sides of the Hot Spring.
Mineta: "...And beyond this wall, fun awaits. That's what I'm here for."
An excited giggle in silence escaped the young boy's mouth as he pressed his hands against the cold wooden surface before him. Not long after, the side of his face joined in as well.
Mineta: "This feels great! I love that there are hot springs here."
Kaminari: "Uh...Mineta, what's up, dude?"
Mineta: "Don't you all get it? Now is the time..."
Kirishima: "Um...The time for what exactly?"
Mineta: "Hehe~ Don't play coy, Kirishima."
Turning his head around, Mineta found a confident grin spread across his face. All the while every male member of Class 1-A looked on in confusion. But before long, a few of them started to smile themselves whilst others just simply blushed as they realized what Mineta was getting on about.
Mineta: "Beyond this wall is the holy grail of all things 'teenage boy'. It's a sight no one has ever seen before."
Kaminari: [Realizing] "Dude, don't tell me you're..."
Mineta: "Nowadays, for them to not stagger bathing times for men and women is an accident."
(Y/n): "Mineta, come on. That's a little too far, don't you think?"
Mineta: "Well, of course, you're saying that, (Y/n)! You get to look at girls whenever you want, you stupid boy with good looks who can get any girl he wants!"
(Y/n): "Ugh, yeah. But, you forget. What you're about to do involves three girls I'm dating. And we're friends, but I'm not exactly down with you checking them out with their clothes off."
Mineta: "Oh, please. I already check them out when their clothes are on. There's no real difference." [Thoughts] "Hehe~ There's a massive difference~"
Iida: [Suddenly jumps to his feet] "Mineta, stop it! What you're doing is demeaning to both yourself and women around the world! It is shameful behaviour!"
Without a moment of hesitation, Iida instantly began charging through the body of water to take Mineta down. Speaking of the resident pervert. He simply shut his eyes and took in the realization of what he was about to do.
Mineta: "...Bakugo's right, you are a nerd, Iida. But one day you shall realise...WALLS ARE MEANT TO BE CLIMBED! PLUS ULTRA!!"
Immediately following his words, Mineta quickly started plucking the purple balls from atop his head. Taking hold of them one by one, the boy quickly used the sticky substance of his Quirk's ability to begin climbing the wooden wall at great speeds. Not only that, at great hunger. Seriously, Mineta was so focused on what he was doing that he began foaming from the mouth the closer he got to the top of the wall.
Closer and closer he neared the edge. Closer and closer he neared his dream. The further he climbed, the more the white light above grew in size. By this point in time, Iida had reached the wooden wall. But being able to reach Mineta, all the class rep could do was yell at for him to come down. But Mineta wouldn't listen. At this stage, there was only one man who could stop the pervert. After all, it was his responsibility.
(Y/n): [Sighs] "Can't enjoy a simple soak, can I?"
(Y/n) groaned silently as he lifted his body out of the water. In doing so, he drew the gaze of the boys still seated in the hot springs. However, all they witnessed was (Y/n) finishing up placing the towel around his lower half. Not long after that, his body disappeared in the blink of an eye. One moment he was standing in the water, the next he was dashing through the air, towards the wooden wall, and towards a pervert who was about to get punched in the face.
(Y/n): [Thoughts] "You know, when I finally learned how to rely on One For All's speed, I planned to use it in fights. Never once did I expect I'd use it to save the honour of my girlfriends from being perved on by the weird kid..."
Yet that was the reality (Y/n) faced. Nevertheless, he couldn't turn away from it now. So as his body grew within meters of reaching Mineta, (Y/n) prepared his oncoming attacking by pulling his left fist backwards and charging it up with Nightmare fuel.
Mineta: [Mumbles] "Huh? Why do I sense certain death over my shoulder? Midnight isn't even on this side of the--"
(Y/n): "Mineta!"
Mineta: [Gulps] "...Oh shit."
Slowly Mineta began to turn his head around. As he did, a frail, weak, miserable smile not even a mother could love found his face. He did so in hopes of getting (Y/n) to not hit him. But when that boy saw the green glow in (Y/n)'s eyes, he realized he was screwed. So instead of reaching the holy grail just a little further ahead, Mineta decided to end things on his own terms. Without a second thought, he instantly let go of the purple balls he'd previously intended to use to climb higher up. Letting go of them, his body immediately got taken over by gravity, pulling him to the ground.
As he fell, the wind blew a powerful gust, one strong enough to remove the towel that had been placed around Mineta's lower half, allowing the aforementioned lower half to be seen by the entire side that made up the boys section of the hot springs. Unfortunately, it was on the ground where Iida currently stood, as well as looking upward. Upward at Mineta...who was now naked. And with him still yelling at him as the boy suddenly dropped towards the ground, there was nothing Iida could do as his face was abruptly swallowed by the two small buttcheeks, and what lay between them, of U.A.'s number one pervert.
It was a day that would haunt Iida for the rest of his life. However, that wasn't to say that he'd be alone in such a regard. For unbeknownst to him in this current moment, (Y/n) too was destined to face a reality he'd never forget. Just one not as bad as Iida's. You see, when Mineta suddenly dropped to the ground, it was enough of a shock to cause (Y/n)'s eyes to follow after him as he spiralled downward. But with his eyes falling, (Y/n) failed to recollect that his body was still moving forward, and at fast speeds. He was only reminded of such when a loud thud roared through the air.
THUD!
The sound was caused by (Y/n)'s body slamming into the very top of the wall. His chest and everything below slammed into the wooden surface, whilst (Y/n)'s chin and arms hung over the top. It was in quick repetition that (Y/n) took in what had just happened, and the pain that had come along with such a thing happening. He was in the process of silently cursing out how his body felt at this moment. Feeling twice as bad due to the fact he currently only was wearing a towel.
Thankfully, the reason behind (Y/n) never forgetting this moment wasn't due to a similar situation like what happened to Mineta. (Y/n)'s towel remained firm around his waist. It's what (Y/n) saw whilst being perched up on the tip of the wooden wall that made him do so. You see, it was in his daze of taking in the pain that the young boy opened his eyes unconsciously. He did so in order to properly take in what just happened. However, upon his eyes opening to look at where he was, his gaze was suddenly pulled elsewhere when a familiar voice entered the air.
Ashido: "Well, what do we have here? Just hanging about, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): [Dazed] "Huh...?"
Ashido: "You really are a hero, huh, (Y/n)? Saving us from that pervert~"
Slightly lifting his head, (Y/n)'s eyes soon landed on the cause of the voice, Ashido. However, what really made this moment 'memorable' was when his eyes looked away from Ashido's own, to her surroundings. Surroundings such as her, along with the other girls of Class 1-A, including (Y/n)'s own girlfriends, all sitting in the water of their hot spring...naked...and all were looking right at him. Now, he couldn't see any 'bits', as the water did a good enough job to cover that much. However, just the fact he was making eye contact with the likes of Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and kinda Hagakure was embarrassing enough. Not just for him even! Every girl in that moment, but most promptly his girlfriends, were blushing madly at the realization of what this scene currently was.
(Y/n): [Blushes] "...U-Uh...Um..."
But, surely, seeing this, you'd think it couldn't get any worse, right? Well, that's when you remembered that Ashido, someone who wasn't exactly shameful right now, was currently present. And seeing (Y/n) struggling on what to do next, she took the perfect opportunity to play with the boy's mental state just a bit more. Though, that 'bit more' ended up being far more than expected.
Ashido: "You know, us girls always have to worry about having Mineta perv on us that we can't properly relax. But now that we now we have a hero to protect us, we can rest in peace and enjoy this time properly. So thanks (Y/n)!"
(Y/n): [Blushing] "...U-Uh...Um..."
Ashido: "You know what? You're right. A simple thank you isn't enough. So..." [Smiles brightly] "...How's this?!"
Out of nowhere, Ashido jumped to her feet in the water. In doing so, she sent the aforementioned clear liquid flying everywhere! But once that wall of water faded, the real cause of the commotion that would suddenly follow became clear. That cause being none other than the fact that Ashido now stood up in the water of the hot spring, with nothing covering her chest, as such was placed on full display for the boy unwillingly watching from above. Ashido didn't even bother to cover up. She just stood there with a proud smile and a look of complete confidence. By the time the other girls noticed, they could barely believe it. They were shocked! Not just because she was doing this to them, but (Y/n) as well!
Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Hagakure bewildered most of all. By the time they regained focus, they didn't waste a second as they instantly jumped to their own feet to cover up Ashido. The noise of splashing water was enough to eventually garner the attention of Mirko and Midnight who were in a hot spring a little further back from the one the students were in. But when they saw what was going on, they struggled to process it all. Remaining in silence. Meanwhile, the girlfriends of (Y/n) were just focused on trying to cover up Ashido's body. But whilst they managed to succeed in that regard, they failed to realise now that they had covered Ashido, their own bodies were on display. When they did manage to realise such, however, in the shock of it all, they turned around to look at their boyfriend, only for their systems to now be flooded with embarrassment.
As for (Y/n), his systems were flooded with blood. As was clearly shown by the fact that when the eyes of his girlfriends landed on their boyfriend, they instantly saw a trickle of blood slowly running down his nose. This ended up being too much for (Y/n), who could barely handle seeing one girl naked, let alone his girlfriends as well. So with all these images taking up his mindspace, eventually it took over so much that his entire body shut down. He couldn't even remember how to hold onto the edge of the wall his body currently hung from. This eventually led his grip on the wall to fade, and before long, his body began to take the fall. The fall backwards, that is. And before long, just as it had done to Mineta, gravity took over (Y/n)'s body and began pulling him towards the ground at great speeds.
At first, it felt slow. But when in an instant, another loud thud flooded the air, (Y/n) and everyone else came to realise just how quickly it all had happened. So now, (Y/n)'s unconscious body lay on the ground of the boy's side of the hot springs, his male counterparts left to look at him in confusion at what just happened, though they did have a faint idea already. Whilst the girls on the other hand were left all carrying different emotions. Ashido was proud, still smiling as her body remained on display; whilst Uraraka; Yaoyorozu; and Hagakure immediately covered their own bodies up out of embarrassment. It was fair to say, this was a moment (Y/n), and his girlfriends for that matter, would never let down.
[Your POV]
...It all happened so fast. One moment I was falling, unable to control my body as I headed towards the ground below, and the next thing everything went black. But even when the world did lose all shape, I was still haunted by the sight. The wet skin...the lewd figuration of the feminine body...their curves and the thoughts they brought along with it. All boggled together as I wandered through the void of my own mind. At first, I couldn't exactly picture anything in particular, just simple blurs of colours. Yet, even through my dazed subconsciousness, I knew what was being shown to me.
Something that would haunt my most embarrassing day for the rest of my life. I don't think I could even look at a girl without feeling the shame that was placed on my shoulders between the time of 8:15 to 8:45 P.M. on that night. However, before long, those blurs of colour began taking shape, like they were being moulded together by a figure unseen. Soon blobs of tan and orange came together. Pushing and enveloping together.
After a while, it kinda looked like a mountain was being formed; one with a cavern in between going down to a beautiful valley. It was weird, I never really had an active imagination. Then again, it's not often that I am knocked out by a wave of unusual lust flooding through my body. Even so, unable to control a single thing of my surroundings, my consciousness just continued to hover through this void of my mind, watching the colours grow closer and closer. Before long, it actually kinda looked like the colours that I once believed to be resembling mountains, began looking like something else. Kinda like...
(Y/n): "Bo-Boobs...?"
Just saying the word made a cold sensation spring through my body. Unbeknownst to me, these colours I had started to see were not configurations of my mind trying to regain control. Instead, it was my eyes slowly beginning to flicker open. The colours was the world waiting just beyond this door of darkness. In particular, they were colours of a certain feline superhero uniform. And these mountains that looked like boobs...were actual boobs. Wait...Boobs?
(Y/n): "WHA!!"
Jumping up from my previous lying position, my now awake consciousness was flooded with a wave of information in one go. I was no longer out near the hot springs, I was inside, on a couch in some office area of the campsite building. A blanket spread over my body. As for the boobs I thought were mountains that ended up being boobs, they belonged to Mandalay, one of the Wild Wild Pussycats. How did I know that? Because when my body launched upward, she was the first proper thing I saw. It was due to the sudden incline of my body that my face ended up coming just short of her own.
The older short-haired brunette woman left to just stare silently into my eyes as I did the same to her. The brown circles mimicking my own (E/c) ones left us in a state of flux for a moment. That was until I started feeling another nosebleed coming on. By that point, my brain had managed to gather enough of my bodily functions back that I was able to almost instantly retreat as far back on the couch as I could possibly go. The repetitive kicking from my feet against the cushions allowing a further boost to give me all the room I needed to curl up in a nervous wrecking ball of teenage angst. All the while Mandalay just continued to stare at me...Before she laughed.
Mandalay: "Ahahaha!! Wow, kid! You're really quick on your feet, huh?"
(Y/n): "Um...What?"
Mandalay: "The way you were moving just then. It was like you weren't even unconscious a moment ago. I can see why Aizawa ranks you high up the food chain for your class."
(Y/n): "Uh..."
Mandalay: "Oh, right. Better not work your brain too hard now, huh? I bet its still running pretty heavily after the events you've gone through tonight. Speaking of which... You remember any of it?"
It didn't take a single second for me to register what she was referring to. I already knew what she was talking about. Perhaps it was due to the fact even in my subconscious I was haunted by the events; or maybe it was down to just genuine confirmation that a woman of all people would ask if I happened to remember seeing a bunch of girls naked. I slowly began to worry that Mandalay may think I'm a pervert or something.
Something I hoped wasn't true, as I really didn't want to be placed in the same group as Mineta. Thankfully, there seemed to be a playfulness to the way Mandalay spoke. Now, she didn't smile or grin as she said those final words, but there was just something about it that gave off the vibe of a mother not so secretly questioning if her son had been searching for Christmas presents when he knew he shouldn't have. It was that playfulness that I was beginning to pick up on.
Mandalay: "Well...Do you remember anything? Anything at al--"
(Y/n): "--Nope."
Mandalay: [Raises eyebrow] "You sure?"
(Y/n): "Hundred per cent. I remember absolutely nothing."
Mandalay: "So you don't know how you got here?"
(Y/n): "Nope."
Mandalay: "Then why are you naked?"
(Y/n): "...What?"
I didn't need any more words spoken to me following my own. Not that I even gave Mandalay the chance though. Because as soon as I finally took in what her final sentence had just said, out of nowhere, I instantly grabbed the edges of the blanket that I was curled up in and looked down in desperation. By the time I poked my head under, however, I was greeted by the same towel that had been wrapped around my body ever since I hit the ground, and hit puberty for a second time. When I began to question why Mandalay would say I was naked, the sound of silent giggles could be heard coming from beyond the other side of the blanket now positioned over my head. Slowly pulling it off, I found the cause to be the aforementioned feline hero. It seems Mirko and Midnight aren't the only ones who like fucking with me...Ah, not like that.
Mandalay: [Giggles] "I see young boys really are easy to tease, aren't they?"
(Y/n): [Narrows Gaze] "And I see the Pussycats have two members who clearly enjoy getting their kicks out of messing with students."
Mandalay: "Oh, calm down, (Y/n). It's just a little joke. Besides... I'm far more serious about it than Pixie Bob is."
(Y/n): "Of course, you--Wait. What?"
Mandalay did nothing but giggle yet again as she got up from the couch and began walking over to a table behind her, one she proceeded to lean on as she smiled at me from across the short distance. As for myself, I did nothing but keep my eyes narrowed. All the while I was left to once again slowly cover my body in my protective blanket, not trusting my chances being in a towel only whilst being in the same room as yet another older woman possibly trying to bed me. Never before had I been happier to have a blanket by my side.
Mandalay: "So how are you feeling? You know, after the fall from grace?"
(Y/n): "Oh. Ha. Ha. Real funny. I know what you did there."
Mandalay: "You do? I thought you couldn't remember what happened, so how would you--"
(Y/n): "--I don't! I mean...I don't remember what happens. I can...just tell by your tone that you're teasing me."
Mandalay: "That so...? Well, sorry to disappoint you, but that line didn't come from me."
(Y/n): "What do you mean?"
I asked with slight confusion, enough that I was able to ease up on how tight I held onto the blanket, and turned to face Mandalay who still leaned against the table.
Mandalay: "Well, after Aizawa brought you in here and I started looking after you, another student tried to come in here. I don't know him, that blonde hothead. The one who's always yelling."
(Y/n): "You mean Bakugo?"
Mandalay: "Yeah, him. Well, anyway, he tried charging in here asking to see you. I said he couldn't, because, well, this is my office and I don't want him touching my stuff. But he just went on and on about how he needed to make sure you got a proper view of 'grace' before you fell. He then started asking me if I was single."
(Y/n): [Sighs] "Yeah...That sounds like Bakugo. Sorry that he annoyed you."
Mandalay: "It's alright, no big deal. He did genuinely seem concerned for you though. I mean, behind all the weird stuff he said. Seems like a good kid."
(Y/n): "Ha, yeah, just wait until you see him when we're out in the city. He takes all of that up to, like, an eleven."
A stray giggle came from Mandalay's lips as I said that. Probably finding some amusement in what I said. Not that there was really any amusement to be had when you have to deal with a guy who constantly tries to set you up with almost every stranger you see. And if he doesn't actually try to, he definitely thinks about it.
(Y/n): "So...you actually got a reason for being here, or you just like watching guys sleep?"
Mandalay: "Well now, I do have a reason for being here, thank you. You see, after your little tumble, your friends out there got pretty worried. When Aizawa and the others heard about what happened, they carried you in here to keep you monitored."
(Y/n): "...And they chose you because?"
Mandalay: "Because out of everyone here, I'm the only one with proper medical training. That, and I knew if any of the other girls stayed in here, they'd probably end up doing more than just watch you sleep. I hear you're a pretty popular guy at your school?"
(Y/n): "Pfft! Don't make it sound out to be anything less than stressful. I'd much rather--"
Mandalay: "--Be alone and do your own thing? Yeah, you look like that type of guy."
I was quick to send Mandalay a questioning look after hearing that. Wondering what she meant when I was 'that type of guy'. Then I quickly remembered I am that type of guy she was talking about and let it go. Beyond that point, I decided to just take my eyes off the only other person in this room and instead take in my surroundings. It honestly did look like an office, something Mandalay confirmed when the silence got too much for her. But as she kept talking, I kept looking. On a nearby wall, I saw all the achievements the Wild Wild Pussycats had accomplished over their career.
Such as beating various villains and saving countless lives. The team of four truly seemed to work well together. Though going off the personalities of the two I've already met, it made me wonder what the others were like. Unfortunately, I never got the time to ask that question, as before I could the door to the room suddenly opened. At first, I thought it was one of the teachers coming to yell at me for being stupid. Or one of the girls, coming to yell at me for being stupid and a perv.
Or Bakugo, who was coming to congratulate me for being stupid and a perv. All my guesses were soon shown to be wrong, however, when upon turning my head to see who had entered the room, I was surprised to see it was the kid with the red hat. The one who was in the cafeteria earlier helping out, and the one who Bakugo almost bumped into after rushing out of the hot springs earlier. He had a small packet of something in hand, I couldn't really make it out before he finally reached Mandalay, where he handed off the packet to her.
Mandalay: "Oh, thank you, Kota. Was it easy to find for you?"
Kota: "I guess."
Mandalay: "Well, I'm sure (Y/n) here will be very thankful for your help." [Turns to you] "I got Kota to be my little assistant and fetch some tablets for you to help with the headache you have."
(Y/n): "Wait. How'd you know I had a--"
Mandalay: "--Headache? You feel ten feet onto the ground. I'd hope you'd at least have some kind of discomfort, otherwise, I'd question just how much of a super--hero you were."
I honestly didn't really understand much of what Mandalay had just said. But going off her reaction, the small chuckle and smile now plastered across her lips, it seemed pretty funny. Well, it seemed like I wasn't alone in looking for the humour in the moment, because right next to Mandalay, the boy I now knew as Kota just looked up at her with a straight expression.
Mandalay: "Hahaha! Aren't I just funny, Kota?"
Kota: "Auntie, you're not funny."
Mandalay: "Wha--Not funny? I am so funny! I am a fun aunt! Don't you think so, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): "Ooooh, don't bring me into your family drama, please. I have enough of that in my history."
Mandalay: "Yeah? Like what?"
I could tell Mandalay meant that sentence with good intentions when she turned to look at me. Clearly she wasn't expecting that sentence to take a dark turn. I didn't intend to tell her, of course, simply going to wash it to the side. But my struggle to say so began when my eyes landed on Kota. The boy standing next to Mandalay was now looking at me. His expression was blank whilst also being somewhat cold. This was enough to draw in more of my attention. It felt like he had a hatred for me or something, blocking my processed words to come out clearly.
(Y/n): "U-Uh, um...Uh...Don't worry about it." [Turns to Mandalay] "It's nothing. Really."
Mandalay: "Oh...Um, okay? No problem." [Smiles and turns to Kota] "Thank you for your help, Kota. Now, why don't you go brush your teeth and get ready for bed, okay?"
Kota didn't respond. He just looked towards his aunt before taking his leave. However, as he exited the room, he gave a single look back. But instead of it being directed at Mandalay, he looked at me. Again, I felt an aura of anger came from his gaze. Like daggers sent for the kill. Once more I became unnerved by it all. Not because I found it weird that I was getting stared down by a kid, but because I felt as if I had seen that look before from somewhere. My focus on such took the time in which followed as Kota left the room, leaving me and Mandalay alone. Though, the silence between us didn't wait for long before it was broken, as a sigh quickly fell from the slouched head of the feline hero nearby.
Mandalay: [Sighs] "I'm sorry about him, (Y/n)..."
(Y/n): "What for?"
Mandalay: "Kota. I'm sure you noticed the stare he gave you. Poor kid, that's the first thing he does to every hero he meets. I just wish he'd be able to move past it."
(Y/n): "Let me guess...He doesn't like heroes very much?"
Mandalay: [Lifts Head] "Huh? How'd you know that?"
(Y/n): "Let's just say I've had my own distaste for heroes in the past."
I could tell that left Mandalay confused by the way she kept looking at me after I finished. She probably wanted to ask more, but held herself back from doing so, knowing full well that words like what I had just said clearly had some meaning behind them. However, what I didn't know was just how much Mandalay understood that herself. For as silence once again built up in the small office space of the campsite building, Mandalay began to make her way back over to the black leather couch I currently sat on.
Gone was any concern about my mostly naked figure underneath. Instead, I now took more focus on the sad look Mandalay now relayed through her face. A part of me wanted to find out what was concerning her, but with the understanding that moments like this could be far more serious than I could even first imagine, I held myself back. Though, it proved not too long before I got some answers, as Mandalay herself started off the next wave of conversations with a sentence that struck close to home for me.
Mandalay: "...My cousins, Kota's parents, we were heroes. But they were killed in the line of duty. Two years ago... protecting citizens from a villain...for a hero, it was a respectable way to die. An honourable death. But a child barely aware of his surroundings could never fully understand that. His whole world revolved around his parents. But that's the thing, to Kota, they were his parents. But to everyone else, they were heroes. And dying comes with the risk of being a hero."
I'd seen a lot in my life. Heard, witnessed, vile things happen to good people. When Izuku died, I fell. Not only to my knees in tears, but my entire life fell apart. Slowly over time I got back up, but I was never fully fixed. I was broken on the inside. To the point, most sorrowful stories never really got to me in a way of emotions. They just pumped me up further in anticipation for being able to keep my promise to Izuku. But hearing this now, after witnessing that look of anger in his eyes, it was probably the closest thing to have broken me in the years since my brother's death. To think, I had fallen so far just from the loss of Izuku.
Yet here was a little boy, probably younger than I was during the time, who had lost his entire world. Both parents are taken from him by cruel evil that stains this world. But the saddest I felt quickly turned to anger, and with that anger came a clenched fist. In that moment, that's all I could do. Clench my fist and make a silent vow that the day evil next comes my way, I'll make sure I remember Kota when I do it. For even though that will do nothing to erase the pain Kota feels, I'll make sure to most certainly erase something...and it'll be that villain's name from the record books.
Mandalay: "I mean--" [Chuckles in pain] "--I'm his closest relative and he doesn't even like me or the others very much since we're also heroes. But it's like he's just here because there's nowhere else to go..."
(Y/n): [Silently mutters] "...I know what he means..."
Mandalay: "To Kota, he finds heroes as a kind of human who doesn't make sense, and is unpleasant. I just... I just fear that if this hatred for heroes continues, then what could possibly come of him in the future?" [Turns to you] "I don't want Kota to fall down the wrong path."
The merciful voice of Mandalay continued to haunt me for the rest of the night as I returned to my bed in the sleeping quarters, though, I never really did fall asleep. I was too focused on the fear in her voice, and the angry eyes of Kota. I don't know why I was so caught up on it suddenly. Was it because I felt for Kota and saw myself in both his traumatic past and anger? Or was it a more sympathetic take on it all? I wasn't sure. But the more I dwelled on it, the more my thoughts became clouded, slowly causing myself to retreat back into the silent self I had been when I first joined U.A. Academy. So much so that when dawn finally did break, and we all got up for breakfast, not a single tint of embarrassment found my cheeks as the boys of my classroom began teasing me for the view I got a sight of last night.
Along with them came the constant flirty remarks from Midnight and the authoritative remarks from Mirko; Bakugo's rambling about how he was disappointed to have missed the show, and that now I finally saw a girl naked, did I feel more inclined to go after more of that in a relationship sense. I didn't respond to him, nor anyone else for that matter. I just sat at the table and looked down at my food, continuously haunted by Kota's story. Even the girls, who had been flooded with their own nerves and embarrassment after yesterday, soon became free of the emotion when they saw how little I was focused on it myself. That eventually caused their embarrassment to shift to confusion, as they all looked my way and questioned why I was so silent.
Of course, when breakfast was over, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Hagakure had asked if everything was alright. Not wanting to completely ignore them, I said I was fine and that I just didn't get much sleep the night before, which wasn't really a lie, but still didn't seem enough for their inquisitive thoughts to be quenched. So things remained that way, all the way up until around '5:45 A.M.'; where myself, my class, and class 1-B could be seen standing in a far open plain of grass behind the campsite's main building. There, Aizawa, along with Mirko, Midnight, and Class 1-B's homeroom teacher, Blood Hero: Vlad King, had us all gathered into one large group. A pool of majority blue, along with white and red made up from the matching U.A. Physical Uniforms in which we wore.
But I didn't care what I was wearing. Suit or uniform, it didn't matter. I just needed to hit something. I know it sounds bad, but I needed to get this pent-up energy out of my system before it was too late. Honestly, I was somewhat tempted to ask Mirko to go for a spar afterwards. Knowing full well I could get all my stress off in a matchup with her. However I refrained from that after realizing if Midnight caught wind that I hung out with Mirko over her, I'd be left with an endless amount of complaining from her. Something I really didn't need right now. So Instead I just left it up to Aizawa and the teachers to see who the unlucky person to face off against me would be.
Aizawa: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Today, we will begin your training camp to increase your strength in earnest."
Midnight: "The goal of this training camp is to increase everyone's strength, and with that, for everyone to obtain their provisional licences."
Vlad King: "It is to prepare you all to face the realities that are becoming more real by the minute."
Mirko: [Grins] "Proceed carefully, runts! Today's where the fun really begins! And what better way to start the fun day, than a fight with me!"
As soon as everyone heard Mirko state that, more than a dozen faces amongst the two classes ducked their heads in fear. As for Mirko, she just scanned the crowd for her first victim. Though I knew fully she was looking for me.
Aizawa: "Before any of you think you may get out of fighting. Mirko has been hired by the school for intense training, and in the real world, intense situations arrive at any moment."
Vlad King: "Even early in the day."
Midnight: "That's why before we move on to anything else, you ALL will be going up against Mirko."
Mirko: "Haha! You're all about to be broken in half!"
Mineta: "I-In half?"
Kaminari: "She's joking right? Right? T-There's no way she'd actually hurt us."
Ojiro: "She's Mirko. Of course, she would."
Kirishima: [Gulps loudly] "Shit. You're right."
Bakugo: "Pfft! You're all being babies. Suck it up and man up whilst you're at it." [Turns to Mirko; Grins] "If it's a fight you want, Easter Bunny, then--"
"I'll do it."
Bakugo/Mirko: "Huh?"
I didn't hesitate to cut Bakugo and Mirko off before they could say anything else. I mean, I came out here expecting I'd fight someone from Class 1-B. But seeing as my worries about asking Mirko myself for a fight had now been solved, I saw no problem with jumping to the opportunity a little earlier than the others. Such seemed to bring about a wave of peace to the crowd of students though, with many silently thanking me for going up against Mirko first and hopefully causing her to be a little slower when she went up against them.
Speaking of the Rabbit Hero, when her eyes finally met mine, there was not a single hint of hesitation behind them. She was more than willing to go up against me in a fight. For her, it was to get an early morning scratch off her itch. But for me, today, I had my own itch to scratch. The clawing pain deep inside of me that wouldn't go away until I punched something. And sure enough, Mirko would be the best for that. So after working it out with Aizawa and Bakugo, the latter seeming more than infused to let me go at the girl first. As he liked to put it.
Mirko and I got into positions a short distance away from where the group of students and teachers now stood. A green plain of grass wasn't the normal location one would go for fight training, but right now, I didn't care. Being in a place like this meant there was no distractions to get in my way as I tried to clear my mind. Nothing but grass, the cold morning air, and the glint of pure adrenaline hidden behind my opponent's eyes. Even with the distance between us, Mirko did very little to hide her excitement, even going as far to expression such through her words.
Aizawa: "I will now begin the countdown, once it reaches its conclusion, the fight may begin."
Mirko: [Grins] "You know, (Y/n), I gotta say. I'm a little surprised you jumped at the opportunity to fight me first..."
Aizawa: "Three..."
Mirko: "I was starting to think you had no interest in me, even after you admitted you found me hot."
Aizawa: "Two..."
Mirko: "But now here you are, being so eager to fight me. What's the matter? Are you starting to enjoy this little one-on-one time we have together?"
Aizawa: "One..."
Mirko: "Well, I'll be sure to enjoy this as much as I can. But I've been working on a lot since we last fought. So don't think for a second I'll go easy on you."
Aizawa: "GO!"
Mirko: "Ha! Here we go, rookie. Time to show me what you--"
BOOM!
Mirko's words were silenced, just like that. One moment, she was speaking, and the next...she had a fist pressed so far into her head that it caused her entire body to bend back with the fist, the pressure being applied through it all enough to rival gravity itself. Such caused the onlooking students, and even a few teachers, to watch on with fallen jaws. All because what they saw they couldn't believe. One moment, I was standing ten feet away from her, and the next, I was right in front of Mirko, a fist pressed into her face, time slowed enough so everyone could witness what had just happened.
In the moment, I didn't process how much anger I released through this one attack. Once the fight was over not long after this single strike, I made sure to apologise to Mirko. Thankfully, she didn't seem too busted up, just some blood falling from her nose. Seeing it reminded me of how own incident from yesterday and how that caused me to bleed from the nose. However, I was quick to mark off that this was different. Yesterday was due to my hormones getting the best of me, this was from Mirko being punched in the face. At least, that's what I thought at first. But once I started apologising to Mirko, I realized that maybe the punch set off Mirko's own hormones.
(Y/n): "Um...Sorry about all that, Mirko. I didn't mean to go so hard in the punch."
Mirko: [Stares blankly] "No. No. That's...That's fine. I'm fine. Yeah...I'm fine."
(Y/n): "Oh, uh...Okay? You sure? I mean, you were bleeding from your nose is all."
Mirko: "No. No. I'm fine...so fine. I-I think I just need to go lie down for a bit is all."
(Y/n): "Um, okay. Uh, I'll...I'll let you get to it then?"
Mirko: "Yeah. I'll, um...I'll see you later. Yeah. Later..."
I'll be honest, I still wasn't one hundred per cent sure Mirko didn't have any brain damage. But with her lack of actual communication skills at the moment, and the growing thought in the back of my head that punching her so hard only ended up getting her more hooked on me, I decided it was probably best to give her some time to herself. So that's what I did. I turned away and returned to my fellow students.
Where I was greeted by looks of complete disbelief and excitement from Bakugo and Kirishima. Whilst I felt slight fear coming from those in Class 1-B. Meanwhile, Vlad King took over the fighting in place of Mirko, who returned to the group of teachers. I saw Midnight looking at her with a grin before saying something. But I wasn't entirely sure what she was saying. Though, knowing Midnight, it was probably something that fit her title as an R-rated hero.
Midnight: [Grins] "Look at you. You're soaking right now, aren't you~"
Mirko: [Shakes Head; Turns to Midnight] "What?"
Midnight: "You heard me. Everyone else around here may be too innocent to see what that look of yours really means. But I can tell when someone had their world rocked~ Though, I never thought it'd be by getting punched in the head, however."
Mirko: "Would you shut up?! That's ridiculous. I don't know what you're talking about."
Midnight: "Oh, really? So you didn't just get an awakening of sorts after your little fight with (Y/n) then? Because I knew that's your little thing you like. Getting rough with the boytoy~"
Mirko: "Sh-Shut up! So what if I like how (Y/n) fights...and so what if the way he just punched me was able to scratch my itch just like that. I'm not weird! I was...I was just surprised he could move and hit so quickly is all."
Midnight: "Yeah? Hehe~ I bet you like the way he moves. Hmm? Maybe that's the way I can get (Y/n) to admit he finds me attractive, but getting into a fight with hi--"
Mirko: "No! He only fights me!"
Midnight: "Whoa. Whoa. Calm down, bunny rabbit. I was only joking...Kind of."
All I knew was that when Midnight had finished speaking to Mirko, she simply turned her focus back to the fight Vlad King was currently in against one of the Class 1-B students. As for Mirko, she seemed pissed. But that wasn't really anything new, as she was almost always pissed whenever I saw her. So I decided to leave it like that and focus on the lesson at hand. However, even that I struggled to do, with the majority of my attention still being pulled towards Kota. Luckily it seemed as the day went along, there were more chances that my mind would find new subjects to focus on. And as the training continued, it was fair to say before long, all I could think about was what they had planned for next.
I kept thinking about such because I don't know what was discussed at the meeting before this training camp was made official, but whatever was brought up must have been right out of left field. Because as the training continued, the other students and I came to realise the teachers were going to have us use our Quirks to the extreme. Like they were using methods I didn't even think U.A. teachers would go to for us to get stronger; like having Bakugo put his hands into boiling water to expand his sweat glands and creating repeated explosions to increase the scale of attack. For Todoroki, they got him to alternate between Ice and Fire whilst in a barrel full of water.
All so his body could get used to freezing and have him try controlling the temperatures of his flames to return it to normal. Then there was Kaminari, who they had hooked up to multiple car batteries. That one wasn't really that shocking, as a lot of classmates already have him use his Quirk to charge their phones. But overall most of the attempts at getting us stronger was something I didn't think they would do. So when it finally came to me, I questioned just what they had in mind for making a guy with a Nightmare Quirk stronger. I didn't really know, I just hoped they wouldn't 'Batman' me and make me relive my brother's death. That didn't end up being the case, fortunately.
Aizawa: "(Y/n), your nightmare Quirk is a very unique case when it comes to powers coming out in the last few years. I've never once seen something so like it. That's why it was a struggle to come up with a method to help you improve in such aspects."
(Y/n): "So...What? That means I can just hang about or something?"
Vlad King: "Haha! Of course not, kid! Just because your Quirk is unique doesn't mean we didn't find a way to crack it."
(Y/n): "Oh, yeah? What is it this time, do I fight four teachers instead of one? Because last time I checked, one wasn't enough."
Midnight: [Grins] "Well that's because you haven't gone one-on-one with me yet, (Y/n). Maybe we can meet up later and see just how fast you are in other circumstances~"
(Y/n): "Um...?"
Aizawa: [Sighs] "I think what Midnight was trying to state is, no fights against teachers will help your quirk get stronger. That's why we've decided to take a different method. Now then, your quirk is nightmare-based, correct? And going off your statement after the attack with the Hero Killer, you mentioned how your 'second formation' for the Quirk allowed you to put you into a nightmare state; where you're able to make your body and reflexes twice as quick and strong compared to your normal state. Is all of this right?"
(Y/n): "Pretty much, yeah."
Aizawa: "Good. Because we believe that if your Quirk is able to do such faint aspects of a Nightmare, you may be able to conjure up actual nightmare figments."
Vlad King: "Like your own personal foot soldiers or something. Can you do anything like that?"
(Y/n): "I mean, I've been able to make nightmare creatures that I was scared of in the past to attack others when I'm outnumbered. You mean something like that?"
Aizawa: "Not exactly. We believe that if you try hard enough, you will be able to make the nightmares of other people you go up against and make their nightmares not only real to them in their mind, but in reality as well."
Midnight: "I know it might sound like a lot. But I'm sure a gifted kid like you could muster something like that up, right?"
Honestly, I wasn't sure. The limit I had reached with my Nightmare Quirk up to this point was being able to enter the subconscious of those I'm fighting and make them feel like their nightmares are real. But that's all inside of their heads. I've never once tried to make such a thing a reality, where the victims don't only see the nightmares, but everyone else as well. To think I could actually do something like that sounded a bit far-fetched. Then again, with how I not only have such an OP quirk like Nightmare, as well as One For All, I guess I can't really expect my life to be normal. Nevertheless, it was with this information that the teachers left me with in the end.
They didn't exactly know what way to enlist such a skill, so instead of placing me into a tough exterior, or putting me through something to push my limits, they just gave me the space to try and think of ways I could expand my Quirk beyond what was already capable of it. I kinda started to wish Gran Torino was here. Maybe he would be able to help me figure out something. Either way, as the day went along, and nightfall eventually came to meet us once more, I still had no answers to the question of how to push my powers further. That, along with the thoughts of Kota still in the back of my head, made most of the day seem rather sluggish in the sense of it all.
By the time we returned back to the campsite, I was far too eager to get some food and go to sleep. Hoping a good night's rest would be able to get me prepared for what the next day held. However, of course, my life wouldn't be that easy. For once we all returned to the campsite by dusk, we were greeted by quite the sight. Out the front of the camp's main building, eight wooden tables could be seen set out apart from each other. Pots, pans, and various uncooked foods spread out across them. Not far away from the tables, two cooking areas were the food could be prepared were located. But the main draw of attention was in front of those cooking areas, where Poxie Bob now stood.
However, she wasn't alone. For beside her was another one of the Wild Wild Pussycat members. This one was "Ragdoll"; an older woman of medium height with long, emerald green hair and big round yellow eyes that are almost seemed like they were being forced open all the way. Around the eyes three small eyelashes were present as well as drawn on pink marks on her cheeks that resemble whiskers and a pink circle around her right eye. Like Pixie Bob and Mandalay, Ragdoll sported a similar feline hero costume. Though hers was more so a yellow version of what the others wore. However, whereas the uniform was different, the energetic nature of the other pussycat members seemed to be right at home with their members as well.
Ragdoll: "Oh, good! You guys are back! It's so good to finally meet you all! Sorry, I couldn't be there on the day you guys got here!"
Uraraka: "Um...Hi--"
Ragdoll: "It's good you guys got here now, and just in time, because we have some news!"
Kaminari: "How come there are tables outside?"
Sero: "Yeah, shouldn't they be in the dining hall?"
Pixie Bob: [Clawing the air] "Well, normally, yes! But as you all should recall what I said yesterday, 'Today's the only day we'll be doing stuff for you'!"
Ragdoll: [Clawing the air] "So at least make your own food! On the menu for you all tonight...Curry!"
Pixie Bob/Ragdoll: "Yay!!"
[3rd Person POV]
The excitement and enthusiasm of the Pussycat members seemed unable to reach that of the students. All tired and exhausted from a long day, the kids were left to lower their heads and grovel at the prospect of having to make their own food, even if they were hungry.
Bakugo: "Arrgh...Fuck making food." [Yawns] "I'm too tired to cook."
(Y/n): "Amen to that brother."
Both (Y/n) and Bakugo proceeded to tiredly fist bump as their bodies remained slumped.
Ragdoll: "Hey, now! Even if you all are tired, that doesn't mean you can just make any old sloppy cat food! You never know when you'll need to know how to cook."
Bakugo: "I DO KNOW HOW TO COOK, SIMBA! But look, I've been exploding all day and I'm exhausted!"
Ragdoll: [Tilts head] "...Exploding?"
Bakugo: "NOT LIKE THAT!"
Ragdoll's expression still remained the same as Bakugo huffed and puffed in annoyance. As for everyone else, they couldn't find any energy to even bring forth a single response to what was being said. That was until out of nowhere, Iida's fatigued appearance sparked back to life.
Iida: "Wait...That's actually true. As heroes, it's also a part of our responsibility to fill the stomachs of those that are hungry. Even when they're exhausted through diasters, it's a hero's job to help them no matter what. That's U.A. for you! No opportunity wasted!"
Kirishima: "I'm about to be wasted if I don't eat something soon." [Groans loudly] "ARGH! Let's just do this already!"
Mineta: "...Mrgh..."
Ashido: [Yawns] "Alright then!"
Kaminari: "Mmm...Whatever..."
Sero: "At least, someone has energy still..."
Following this, one by one the students sparked to life to begin preparing the food. Each member from both classes taking up different responsibilities to make sure they made the best curry they had ever tasted. People like Todoroki and Bakugo managing to be rather useful in the process of making dinner, with the former being able to use his Quirk to ignite the fires at the bottom of the cooking stations so the food could be boiled. As for the latter, well, tonight was the night that everyone was shocked to learn that Bakugo was a rather good cook. The likes of Uraraka, Kirishima, Mineta, and a few others were bamboozled by the expertise the walking bombshell used to slice and dice the carrots and other vegetables intended for the curry.
Bakugo: "Ah! Honestly, O-Choco, can you be any slower with these? We had needed these carrots cut ten minutes ago! Now you've left me to do it! Gah! I should be cleaning the potatoes right now! Did you really need me to show you how to do this?"
Uraraka: [Shocked] "Wow, Bakugo, you're really passionate about cooking huh? It's unexpected..."
Kaminari: "Yeah. I thought if anything, Bakugo would use a knife to kill someone..."
Kirishima: [Chuckles] "...Or threaten a girl to date (Y/n)."
Kaminari: "Haha. True that."
Bakugo: "HEY! Would you all shut up and help! Besides, I don't need to do anything to threaten girls with a good time~" [Chuckles] "Ain't that right, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): [Shakes head; Smiles at Uraraka] "You should have seen Bakugo when we were kids. My family and his went camping and he spent the whole afternoon yelling at his mom for setting the water at the wrong temperature for boiling the food."
Uraraka: "Really?"
Bakugo: "Well, duh! Of course, I did, (Y/n)! I mean, what? You want the food to taste like shit?"
(Y/n): "Sure. Sure. You do you, buddy."
Again, another shake of the head came from (Y/n) as he finished cleaning the potatoes and placed them into a pot ready to be cooked any second now. Once done, he turned back towards the direction of his girlfriend and best friend, however, his gaze didn't remain on them for long. For just past their heads, in the distance, (Y/n) caught sight of a familiar-looking red hat and the boy it was attached to heading into the woods.
(Y/n): "Kota...?"
The strange oddity of it all left (Y/n) confused. Though, what (Y/n) didn't know was that this would be the least of his problems. For as the students of U.A. High prepared the final touches on the long awaited meal, elsewhere in the surrounding area atop a mountain front, a group of familiar-looking characters could be seen watching.
Toga: "Do I really have to wear this mask, Dabi? I mean, I don't like it. It's not cute at all. Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It was designed by the person who orchestrated all of this, right? He didn't seem very cute either."
Dabi: "Appearances matter little in a situation like this."
Toga: [Cutely waves arms around] "I'm. Not. Talking. About. That. I just don't want to wear this!"
(???) #1: "Oh. You guys are here already, huh? Sorry for the wait."
Toga: "Hmm?"
Turning to her left, looking past the villain Toga was already talking to, a man with a helmet covering his face, another unknown individual could be seen. Though, this person didn't wear a mask. All they had on were a normal set of clothes, white glasses that covered their eyes, and a set of brown wavey hair that seemed to have been recently combed. In their hand, something large wrapped in white fabric could also be seen. They weren't alone, however. Along with the new arrival, four others could be seen. The first was a human-like lizard person who wore clothes that resembled that of the Hero Killer: Stain. A sleeveless shirt and dark, baggy pants with brown holsters around his thighs, black boots and pale, metallic knee guards.
As well as a mask made of a long, white tattered strip of cloth, similar to Stain's, with goggles on his forehead, a red scarf and bandages wrapped around both his arms, partially covered by black wristbands. He also wears two belts, with one that carry a second blade, a blue and white polka chest armor, and also carried an enormous sword on his back that was made out of many smaller blades bound together. The next person in line ended up looking even more odd. This figure, one surprisingly tall compared to the rest, wore a black straitjacket that only leaves his mouth exposed. The suit is held together by black restraints decorated with red spikes.
These same restraints connect to metal clamps that cover Moonfish's head and keep his lips open, often causing him to drool. Other straps cross Moonfish's torso, waist, and the top of his boots. The final two members were a bit more mysterious; with one wearing a plastic mask over his face, whilst his body was covered in a black cloak. The final member wore green and black clothing appearing like a uniform of some sort. All brought together by the gas mask in which they wore to seal the rest of their identity. Whoever these people were, though, mattered not. Just the fact they were present in the same area as heroes in training was enough warning that whatever they had in mind, it wouldn't be good. And spoiler alert...It wasn't.
[Done. Gonna try and get the next chapter out in two weeks or less depending on how I feel after I release this one. Hope to get back into a more consistent approach with this book overall though.]
