Ch 33: 'Other Side'

[This message below was written before a change of mindset in me writing on this book and all my books. And writing in general. Basically, I'm going to be blunt...I honestly don't care what anyone says about my books anymore, you guys owe me nothing, and I owe you nothing, I'm simply writing for myself now. I will release when I want to release, and there will be no warning of breaks or release dates. But what's written below was made two weeks ago before I had this change of mind. From this point on, I really don't intend to go out to make a chapter good for you guys, or aim to get it out at a particular time. May sound harsh, but it's the truth. Hope you can understand, but if not...Oh well.]

[IMPORTANT MESSAGE BEFORE WE GET INTO THE CHAPTER:

--Okay, so after the last chapter, and the developments made in it, one notion was constantly brought up... "The Reader Will Seemingly Not Be Killing People"; and that seemed to disappoint some because, well, the book is called ANTI-HERO, and Anti-Heroes normally kill. Now, I can understand why some are annoyed. But you have to remember a few things...

1.) - The word "ANTI" means "Opposite". So people who were bringing up that it automatically means killing in the sense of a hero, try to think a little deeper. Now, I'm not saying the reader won't kill (more on that below) but there's more to the "Opposite" nature of the reader. He's "Opposite" in the sense that he has an ideology different to other heroes. He doesn't believe in hero licences. He steps in when others stay back because rules say otherwise. So one of the main factors of the title being ANTI-HERO is that the main character is the opposite of a hero. And in the case of this book, he's opposite to heroes who follow the rules, or as in season 4 when Mirio was hesitant to save Eri because of rules. That's where the "ANTI" part plays a factor other than just killing.

2.) - I don't want the reader to be a boring Anti-Hero who just kills off the bat. Yes, his brother died, and that would be a good conviction to start doing it. But something I don't think people in the last chapter understood clearly was the reason he didn't want to kill is because he didn't want to be like killers like Stain. Cause, obviously, he wouldn't. He'd kill villains to end them once and for all. The reason he doesn't want to kill right now is because killing is such a sour taste for him. His brother died. Got killed. So whenever he kills someone, no matter how evil his opponent may be, it's still a terrible thing to do, and makes him feel like he stooped to the same weak level like the man who killed Izuku. Whether that is true or not is up to you. But remember, I like to try and make these books realistic, so imagine, could you easily kill anyone irl? Some maybe, but in this case, no...It's not an easy thing.

3.) - And finally...Who said he wouldn't kill? I want to bring up a notion I feel fits this perfectly. Just because the book is called ANTI-HERO, doesn't mean the reader will be the exact image of an ANTI-HERO straight up. Kinda like how One Piece is called One Piece, yet we haven't even seen the actual 'One Piece' yet. It's the thing the story is leading to, the same can be said for this story. It's leading to the Reader finally becoming the exact image of an ANTI-HERO. And as I've mentioned to a few people in the comments, there will be a moment in the future that makes the reader break completely and send him over that edge. When that happens, the wait and feeling of relief will most definitely be worth it. I don't like rushing my books and I hope you all can be patient on the story I want to tell.

As I've said before, I have an idea in mind for my stories and I want to keep them that way. If someone brings up something cool, I'll take it into consideration. But right now, the idea of just aimlessly making the reader kill is stupid to me. You also forget, he doesn't just let them go, he leaves his victims in a coma like state of nightmares haunting their minds over and over again. Like a living hell. That's nothing easy to deal with. So please remember that and everything else I've mentioned as the book continues. Because we'll reach the end eventually, and I assure you, the wait will be worth it.]

[Your POV]

...It all happened so fast.

...There I was, enjoying the peace after the turmoil.

...I had defeated Stain.

...I had saved the day. And now? I was finally on the other side of things. I got to spend these moments of recovery within the walls of a hospital with the two closest people in my life. It seemed perfect...And then the door got kicked down.

BLAM!!

I remember the jolt of shock that surged through my body when the sudden explosion went off. It reminded me of all I had been through recently, and the annoyance that came with believing I had yet to deserve a break. But I found some comfort when I caught the sight, out the corner of my eye, Bakugo and Uraraka also getting ready to fight. It gave me the strength to realize whoever did come against me now, well, they picked a bad time for sure.

However, little did I know that my urge to fight was not really warranted. For once the shock from the flying door finally settled, and the combined eyes of myself, Uraraka, and Bakugo turned in the direction of the entryway. We all soon came to face another round of shock when we saw walking through the now-opened space was not a villain...But a hero.

And not just any hero at that, it was one I was quite familiar with... It also happened to be one I had yet to text back after leaving her on read for multiple days now. So, yeah, I shouldn't have really been surprised by the narrowed gaze on the face of this aforementioned person when our eyes finally met. Of course, this was Mirko I was talking about, so I probably shouldn't have been too surprised when her first sentence came off rather...odd.

Mirko: "(Y/n) Midoriya... I'm coming for you."

Like, why? Why?! Why does she have to say it like that?! It doesn't even make sense! She's saying it like she's still on her way. She's right in front of me! It also doesn't help she's saying it like that right in front of my girlfriend!! But, surprisingly, that wasn't the worst person I wanted to hear Mirko say that in front of. The worst person was to my right, Bakugo. I didn't even have to look at him to tell he was now grinning. But maybe that's because he's literally seeing Mirko in front of him, and not for what she just sa--

Bakugo: "[Stares in Awe] "...Sweet mother of thighs..." [Jumps to his feet] "YES! I KNEW THE NEWS IN THE PAPER WOULD PAY OFF!!"

...Or, of course not! Things never go my way when it comes to stuff like this. Which meant I was just left to lower my head in embarrassment as Bakugo had the time of his life.

Bakugo: "Haha! I mean, I guess I didn't know, know! But still! I at least had some faith that people would realize who saved the day and then the hot ones would go searching for my boy! But who knew it'd be Mirko of all people?!" [Turns to Uraraka] "Like, I thought I heard boss music a minute ago. But I just thought it'd be wimpy Iida coming to say sorry to (Y/n) and potentially steal my spot as best friend-Ha!-as if he could even do that though!"

Uraraka: "Um..."

Bakugo: "But, no! I'm not the one who has to go through a boss battle and worry!" [Points at Uraraka] "You're the one that has to worry!"

Of course, that did not make matters better. In fact, it made things worse! Because as soon as Bakugo said those words with the joyest of smiles on his face, something he didn't shy away from as he looked Uraraka in the eyes, she almost immediately felt a wave of dread on her face. Something that only worsened when she turned to look at the 'boss' she'd have to face. In doing so, she was greeted by 5'3 full of prominent muscles, flowing white hair, deep, beautiful eyes, and every other aspect a guy could like...O-Of course I wasn't looking--Or noticing--them now on purpose. I-I like Uraraka! But, unfortunately, seeing the Pro Hero offer a confident smirk as she looked over her muscles before turning to face me with just as much confidence wasn't exactly a help for my brunette of a girlfriend.

Mirko: "What's up, (Y/n)? Who are these, your little friends?"

(Y/n): "Um, w-well--"

Uraraka: "Um, a-actually! Miss Mirko! I'm his--"

Mirko: [Turns to Uraraka] "Huh? What was that?"

Uraraka: "...Um..."

Immediately Uraraka seemed to lose all the energy to speak. I don't know whether it was from how Mirko showed no fear towards the young girl whatsoever, or the fact that now that Uraraka saw what she was going up against, she grew just that little less confident. Of course, none of that matters! But because Bakugo ran with his mouth, she thought so. I went to intervene, but before I could, out of nowhere Bakugo launched to Uraraka's side and quickly went to cover her mouth.

Bakugo: "You bet, uh, Miss Mirko! We are (Y/n)'s little friends!"

Uraraka: [Annoyingly Grumbles] "Grum Rish Rrilfrend!" (I'm his Girlfriend!)

Mirko: "Um...Okay?"

With a confused eyebrow raised, Mirko proceeds to sport a grin when she looks passed the pair to once more eye me out.

Mirko: "So this is the company you hang around, huh? Ha! No wonder you were a rookie when you first showed up as my--"

In that moment, I realized something. Something tragic. A mistake I had forgotten about completely. One that would spell certain doom if it were to get out. And unfortunately for me...Mirko was about to give it all away. I tried to cut her off, but when I went to...It was already too late.

Mirko: "...my intern for your stupid school class!"

(Y/n): "...N-N...No..."

The sound of defeat was ever prominent in my voice. My head quickly dropping, only to slowly lift once more as I turned to the person I now worried for, Bakugo. I had never told him I was interning under Mirko, for obvious reasons. I instead said I was interning under Death Arms, which he obviously didn't like. But the fact that he was now finding out that I not only was working under someone like Mirko, but that I didn't tell him--Well, I was worried he'd kinda...snap.

Bakugo: "...Intern, huh? (Y/n) was...Your intern...This whole time?"

Mirko: "Um, yeah? Why? Something wrong with that?"

Bakugo: "...No...No...Not at all." [Struggles to smile] "It's just...(Y/n) told me he was interning under someone else is all...Someone not like...you..."

Now, at first, things seemed to be okay. When my eyes landed on the back of his head, he was kinda just staying in the same position he was before. Arm wrapped around Uraraka's shoulder, hand on mouth, as he stared at Mirko. But I knew that he was slowly breaking inside. The extended smile on his face that was clearly struggling to stay together didn't help my fears. Mirko continuing to speak DEFINITELY didn't help.

Mirko: "Well, anyway! You guys should have seen (Y/n) when we first met!" [Eyeing you] "Just walking up to the entrance of the gym I was at, acting all cold and brooding. It was adorable to see for a rookie!"

Uraraka: [Grumbles] "Arroughable?" (Adorable?)

Bakugo: "...Adorable, you say..."

Mirko: "And don't get me started with the dumb look he made when he saw me in my workout gear. He was practically drooling!"

Bakugo/Uraraka: [Smiles Creepingly] "...Drooling, huh?/Grooginh, gruh?"

From that moment on, both Bakugo and Uraraka, in union, began to spin around to face me. As they did, Uraraka showcased unholy strength to rip the hand of Bakugo that was covering her mouth completely off her face. This allowed both her, and Bakugo, to offer me a pair of the creepiest smiles in history. I don't exactly know what they were thinking in this moment. But a good assumption was that they wanted to kill me! So, of course, I did my best to save my butt.

(Y/n): "I-I wasn't drooling!"

Mirko: [Grins] "No. But you were a mumbling mess. Haha! That's another thing I sought to get rid of during our internship!" [Suddenly Narrows eyes] "...But I see it didn't work."

In this moment, I now had three people to fear. It seemed to be a pretty even race of fear at this point. That was until Bakugo suddenly took the lead.

Bakugo: [Slowly turns to Mirko] "I'm sorry, Miss Mirko." [Creepily chuckles] "But I'm still not sure I heard you properly just before. But, um...Hehe...Did you say (Y/n)...My buddy ol' pal behind me...Interned under you?"

(Y/n): "U-Uh, um, no! I think--"

Mirko: [To Bakugo] "Yeah. Why?"

Bakugo: [Creepily Smiles] "Oh...No reason..." [Suddenly turns around] "(Y/N) MIDORIYA YOU ARE A DEAD MAN! YOU HEAR ME, YOU TRATORIOUS BASTARD?!"

Of course, in class Bakugo fashion, Bakugo didn't wait to put out his rage and distaste onto me. He also didn't wait to practically go launching off the ground to punch and/or kill me. I'm not entirely sure how far he was willing to go in this tragic tale of betrayal. Thankfully for me, I still had Uraraka on my side. It seemed that whatever strength she had earlier to rip Bakugo's hand off her face still remained somewhat. It was enough that she was able to grab one of Bakugo's arms and hold him back. At least to the point that his only free arm, which he tried to use to grab me, came up inches short of my face. That gap eventually grew when Uraraka used all her might to begin dragging Bakugo towards the entrance of the room.

Uraraka: [Struggling] "Oh! No! You're! Not! We! Are! Not! Having! Another! Incidient! In! This! Hospital!"

Uraraka's words came in stern forms held back by the struggle she was going through. Bakugo's were more so...caveman-like.

Bakugo: "RAH! URGH! GRAH! GRAH! (Y/N)! GRAGH! YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!"

Uraraka: "Yeah...Yeah! Enough! With! The! Dead! Man! ALREADY!"

With the final word roaring from her mouth, Uraraka had managed the impossible task of not only pulling Bakugo out of the room, but also somehow managing to get his hands from clawing off the edges of the doorframe. Either way, as soon as he was out of sight, I was given some peace.

(Y/n): [Chuckles Nervously] "Haha...Th-Thanks, Uraraka?"

Out of nowhere, the head of my girlfriend immediately poked back through the empty doorway. Her eyes narrowed and anger filled her eyes as she glared right into my soul.

Uraraka: "I am not done with you yet, Mister."

(Y/n): *Gulps*

Although her words were more silent than Bakugo's, the anger and scary nature of an annoyed girlfriend was quickly starting to set in on me. It now seemed whatever peace I had before was gone. Though, I did get some compilation in the form of a smiling Mirko picking up the door she had previously kicked off its hinges and returning it to the blank doorframe. Of course, it couldn't just stay in place.

So to make sure it would, Mirko grabbed a chair from the nearby table in the corner of the room and planted it next to the doorhandle. This seemed more than enough to keep the door in place and give us some safety from the raging Bakugo...And the bloodlust Uraraka? I don't know. All I knew is the scary people were outside, and the sane, normal people, were inside.

Mirko: [Wipes dust off hands] "Well, your little friends seemed nice. Though they did seem upset with you?"

(Y/n): "...Ha...Haha..." [Sighs] "Yeah, I'm screwed." [Shakes Head; Smiles] "Uh, th-thanks, uh, Miss Mirko."

Mirko: [Tilts Head; Smiles] "Huh? What for, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n): "Uh, for putting the door back up?" [Awkwardly Chuckles] "I mean, it'll keep me somewhat safe from the wrath of my friends, right?"

Mirko: "Oh, I didn't put the door back up so your little friends wouldn't get in. I put it back up so you wouldn't run away from me again."

(Y/n): "...I-I'm sorry...Run away from what now?"

Mirko: [Smiles Brightly] "Me, of course!" [Suddenly Narrows Eyes] "We have some talking to do."

There was hardly a second to even picture what was happening before it actually happened. All I could take in was the glaring gaze of Mirko, who clearly meant business right now, and the slow rise of her right fist. I mean, to me it was slow. But maybe that was just the fear seeping in? All I knew was Mirko was clearly getting ready for a punch. The troubling issue was I didn't have anywhere to go. With my body sitting up on the edge of my bed, I went to jump to my feet, but before I could do so, the fist I believed Mirko intended to punch me with simply went flying straight passed my face before coming to an abrupt stop once it hit the wall.

Yet, even with it managing to avoid my head, that side of the bed was still no longer a way to escape. So with my brain thinking as fast as it could, I quickly dropped my back onto the bed and went to spin my body over to the other side. There was opened space, it seemed like safety was finally in my future. Yet, of course, just like with the left side of the bed, Mirko quickly blocked off the right side with her other fist. What made this even more complicated and nerving was that to perform a task where both her muscular arms were pressed against the wall, it meant she had to push her own body onto the bed...A bed I was still on.

And to make extra sure that there was no chance of me making my escape, Mirko decided the best way to block me off was by swinging her hips over my waist so she was straddling my lap. This meant all I could do was lie as far into the mattress of my bed as I possibly could, whilst the powerful gaze of Mirko leaned over me from above. Now there was no way to get to safety. Both sides were blocked by her arms, her hands pressed into the wall, which only allowed her more support to lean over the top of my body. All the while, the scene was made even more terrifying by the fact that Mirko's tight, muscular...t-thighs were sealed on either side of my waist. Whilst her, um...lower parts pressed against my own lower parts.

But it's cool! I-I can get out of this! I-I've gone through worse...OH, WHO THE HELL AM I KIDDING?! ESCAPE WAS NO LONGER MY BIGGEST GOAL! IT WAS USING ALL MY MIGHT TO NOT POP A BONER IN THIS FUCKING POSITION!! But, um...That thought wasn't exactly made any easier when I gathered all my might to finally open my eyes after I had closed them from mere shock moments ago. But in doing so, I was instantly greeted by the glimmering rays of light that somehow made their way through the paintings of white hair that now dropped from her head and barely came to a halt from touching my face. In this moment, all I could do was gulp and pant loudly, as Mirko, the Rabbit Hero, gained complete control over my defeated body.

Mirko: [Panting] "Well then, that was fun?" [Panting] "...Right?"

I don't know how she was trying to act right now. She wasn't her normal self of clearly speaking something that had a double meaning whilst she acted as if she didn't know so. She seemed somewhat straightforward, despite the awkward situation and the fact I was now blushing red like an apple. But Mirko, she didn't seem to find any sense of a smile or charming grin. She just looked down at me, like she was disappointed or something. That fact alone almost got my mind off the matter that my groin was currently pressed against her own...Almost.

(Y/n): "Um...M-Miss Mirko? Uh, Wha--" [Gulps] "Uh...What's going o--"

Mirko: "I'm mad at you, (Y/n)!"

(Y/n): "I...I'm sorry?"

Mirko: [Childishly Whines] "Yeah, you really should be! What you did was mean!"

And if I wasn't already confused enough, Mirko had to throw another spanner into the works by...acting like a kid? I mean, complaining like a kid. You know? The pushed-out chubby cheeks, the lowered frown, the avoided eye contact to show she was annoyed at me. It's kinda like how Midnight acts when I don't pay attention to her. However, the difference with any situation involving Midnight was the fact that Mirko was, you know...straddling my lap. But even with something like THAT going on, she still acted like an angry child who didn't get her way. So no one could exactly blame me for the confusion that now rocked my face. Something that grew only more when she took her arms that were previously positioned on the wall and slammed them down onto my chest.

Mirko: "I just...I just can't believe it! I was being really cool and nice to you, and you just had to go and be stupid and screw up!"

(Y/n): "Um...S-Screw up? Screw up...H-How exac--"

Mirko: "--You ditched me, (Y/n)!"

(Y/n): "Um..."

Mirko: "You just...You just ditched me! Argh!" [Grumbles] "And after I let you help me with my itch...Hmph!"

...I have experienced a lot of out-there and odd moments in my life. I mean, I'm friends with Bakugo--AND...We both went to the premier of Episode 8 of the new Star Wars Trilogy, so what do you expect? But this...This was something else. I mean, I knew Mirko as being someone who was definitely...odd in her own way. Whether that be her tendency to say sentences that have double meanings; her urge to start fights with me; and basically being the embodiment of being a girlfriend without being your actual girlfriend. But I never expected her to be...Jealous? If that was the right term for this. Honestly, I had no clue. All I could do was look up at her, whilst forced onto a bed might I remind you, and contemplate how someone like Mirko could be pouting whilst also somehow being herself in the same timeframe.

(Y/n): [Shakes Head] "Uh, um...Wha-What exactly do you mean by 'ditching you'?"

Mirko: [Suddenly Looks down at You] "What do I mean?! Ugh, like the fact you never texted me back? Never called me! Rushed out of a hospital before I could even see if you were alright!"

Okay, okay, those are...actually pretty good points now that she mentions them.

(Y/n): [Sighs] "You're right, Mirko, I--"

Mirko: "--But the worst of it all is that you ditched me for some tiny old man!"

(Y/n): "Huh?"

Mirko: "Like, I mean...If it was some young girl, I suppose I'd understand--" [Grumbles to herself] "--Not that I'd really even understand that even. I mean, I'm young...I'm cool, and I have muscles, I bet no other girl you know has muscles like me..." [Looks down at you] "Right?"

(Y/n): "...Um..."

Mirko: [Shakes Head] "You're right! Stupid question right now! The real question is when I found out you ditched me for some tiny old man I was pissed! But...I couldn't do anything not because you were injured, but because you just had to go save the day! Argh! Why couldn't you just save the day later so I could punch you first for being an idiot?!"

Again, all I could really think of responding with was 'Um' but I didn't want to use that because, well, I feel the more I used it, the closer I was to getting punched. So I kept my urge to speak inside and just continued to look up at Mirko. But in doing so, I noticed something. The way she looked down at me now, she...she genuinely seemed hurt. Or, at least, she let on enough for me to presume that. And honestly, I couldn't believe it. I mean, sure, she liked fighting with me, and I thought that was as far as it went. But the way she was looking down at me right now it made me think that...maybe...She liked more than just the fighting.

(Y/n): "...Mirko, I, um...Rumi..."

Mirko: "Huh?"

The notion of her name seemed to catch Mirko--Uh, Rumi...Off guard. At least, enough, that the tight grip she once had on my shirt was now loosened.

Rumi (Mirko): "You...You used my name?"

(Y/n): "Um, yeah, well..." [Nervously Smiles] "I mean, you called me by my name when you texted me. So, um...I-I thought that meant I could call you by yours as well...?"

The wait for a response felt like a lifetime and not a good kind. But one filled with nervous expectations and hope. During this time, Mirko--Rumi--Just continued to look down at me. Clearly, she must have been quite stunned by me calling her name, or at least, that's what I originally thought. Until...

Rumi: "You...Read my texts...so that means...You didn't just not text me back...YOU WERE OUTRIGHT IGNORING ME! YOU BASTARD!"

(Y/n): "What? No! I--"

Before I could even start my sentence, I was suddenly cut off by wave after wave of half-beat punches directed at my chest. Now, the punches weren't that hard, but due to injuries sustained previously, and the angry look in Rumi's eyes, they still packed quite the hit. The words in that Rumi brought as she continued to repeatedly hit me didn't help either.

Rumi: "Here! I! Was! Thinking! You! Didn't! Text! Back! Because! You! Didn't! Even! See! My! Texts! But! Now! You're! Saying! You! Saw! My! Texts! And! Didn't! Text! Me! Back! Anyway! ARRGGHH!!"

It was with that final scream that Rumi's brought both her clenched fists up off my chest in union. She was preparing for a twin attack, but before she could bring them slamming down, I took the opportunity to strike myself. With One For All coursing through my veins, I launched my hands forward and quickly grabbed hold of Rumi's wrists. The action alone caught the renowned Rumi off-guard.

What caught her even more off guard was when I used this momentum to send our bodies rolling to the right side of the bed. There was enough room that Rumi's back was able to collide with my hospital bed. But just when she thought she was free, I pounced on top of her, creating a similar position to what she had before on me. This gave me the perfect opportunity to look her straight in the eyes as I allowed everything to come free.

(Y/n): "Listen, okay?! Just be quiet for a moment and let me speak!"

Rumi did nothing but allow her once-straightened rabbit ears to obediently flop backwards onto the pillow her head now rested on. Her eyes followed in a similar submissive action, though, I didn't really pay attention to this as I was too focused on getting her to be quiet so I could speak.

(Y/n): "Look...You're right, okay? I haven't been returning your texts or calls, so, yes, you could say I've been ignoring you. But I didn't intend for it to be that way, okay? It's just...Every time you happened to text or call, something else was going on. And I don't say that to make it seem like you're not important. You are! But...There's a lot in my life that you don't know about. A lot of things that...I struggle with, okay? And...With Stain, and my friend Iida being pulled into it. I...I needed to try and be the person who could stop it all and...save the day, you know?"

When all was said and done, it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. It was such a relief that once I was finished speaking, I couldn't help but sigh and smile slightly. But that smile soon took a pause when my focus returned to Rumi. All she did was look up at me, cascaded by all the words I had just said to her. I think in someways she didn't know what to say. However, we found some ground when she offered me a soft smile and signalled for me to get off her and allow her to sit up. It was this moment that I realized I was now the one on top of Mirko, practically holding her down even, whilst on the bed.

As soon as I realized such, I immediately jumped off her and sat on the furthest edge the bed had in order for Rumi to not see my blush. As I continued to look away, I felt movement by my side. Slowly gathering the courage to see what was going on, I was greeted by the sight of Rumi sitting next to me. But what really caught my attention was the gentle smile she still carried, the soft tint of red on her darkened cheeks, and the way she could barely keep eye contact with me.

I knew that look. It was the same Uraraka gave me when we finally confessed to each other. Now, some may call me dense for not picking up on it sooner but... COME ON! You see how Rumi acts! I don't know whether she's really horny, playing smart just to tease me, dumb at times, or all three rolled into one?! But...seeing this side of her now...I got a clearer picture. And whilst it was shocking to fully get a realization what was going on. I also found a sense of calmness coming from it. Something that only continued to blossom when the voice of the Rabbit Hero suddenly caught my attention once more.

Rumi: "I...I'm sorry, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): [Chuckles] "Was that just a stutter from Mirko? I never thought I would--"

SMACK!

The collision of a pillow colliding with my head was my first warning that I was treading a narrow line. The glare Rumi offered me once that pillow came away was my second. Afterwards, it took a few seconds for us to return to the position we were in moments ago. This time around Rumi wasn't exactly hesitant to keep her eyes off me, especially as her sentence built up.

Rumi: "Look, I'm not going to apologise for the way I am. I guess I'm so used to working with a bunch of preschoolers who know nothing about being a hero even if they wiped their asses with it...So talking normally to people isn't really my strong point."

(Y/n): "O-Oh, you don't say? I didn't notice..."

Rumi: "Yeah, well, it's true. It also doesn't help that you're really good at scratching my itch. I mean, I haven't fought so carefree like that in a long time! And trust me, when you have to work through all these rules and regulations that heroes have to follow, to be able to fight with you without a worry...It was nice..."

(Y/n): "Oh..."

I was honestly surprised how heartfelt that actually turned out being, especially with the way Rumi refers to it as her 'itch'. But here I was, being left surprised by the Rabbit Hero once more.

Rumi: "...I...I also haven't had many friends in life. I mean, I have a few gym bros, but even then, we really just do gym stuff together. So I can't really call them friends. But...It was so easy to talk to you and..." [Blushes more] "...And you listened." [Nervously Chuckles] "I-I guess so much to the point I couldn't stop thinking about you so I'd text you all the time! Haha! T-That must be weird to you...Huh?"

(Y/n): "I-I..." [Sighs & Smiles] "...I wouldn't call that weird. I would call it your way of showing interest and communication. It was actually pretty cool knowing a Pro Hero--Heck, it was cool knowing someone like you even wanted to talk to me! There's not really a lot of people outside of my class who can put up with my 'brooding' nature."

A chuckle immediately came from Rumi's lips as soon as I said that last part. Clearly, she noticed the callback to her earlier description of my persona, and thankfully it was enough to smooth the continuation of this conversation.

Rumi: "Ha, please! If people can't put up with you, they must be real pussies. I mean, you're the closest I've come to seeing someone who actually knows what they're doing when fighting villains."

(Y/n): [Grins] "Oh, yeah? Well, please make sure to tell Endeavor that. Because I don't think the old flame head likes me very much."

Rumi: "Ha! Please! The only thing that Walker Lighter likes is hearing his own name on TV."

I could believe that one very much. Now, by this point in the conversation we had reached a more quiet note. For a good few seconds, Rumi and I just sat where we were and allowed the world to go on by. Honestly, I was pretty happy in this moment. I don't know why. But I just found myself smiling more than I had lately. And then the moment happened...

Rumi: "...I like you, (Y/n)."

Those words hit me like a drunk girl on prom night. To the point, I began to question reality itself. But when I realized I was actually in this moment, all I could do was slowly turn to face Rumi, who just had to do the adorable action of sending a few strands of white hair behind her ear before looking right at me out the corner of her eyes. Those red orbs are more than enough to make me gulp. I was so thrown off by the suddenness that I didn't even prepare myself for what happened next.

(Y/n): "R-Rumi, I really like you too! You're great, b-but, um, I--"

...And that's when it the NEXT moment happened. It was in the moment of getting out the words needed to explain myself in this situation when the next thing I knew... A wave of white hair blocked my gaze. I could barely register it before I had something else completely steal my attention. And it came in the form of a warm, get incredibly soft sensation pressed up against my lips. It didn't take me long to realize what was going on, but even when I realized it, it was hard to comprehend that it was actually happening. I mean, who else wouldn't be thrown off by the fact that one of the most popular, and attractive female Pro Heroes in all of Japan...was kissing you!

Add in the fact that my mind was still kinda foggy from when Rumi was straddling me earlier, and well, there wasn't really much I could do in the moment. It took me at least half a minute to properly realize what was going on. And once I did, my mind flooded back to the idea that I had a girlfriend who I cared about very much. Now, whether Mirko sensed the hesitation in the air, or just needed air after kissing me for half a minute, that was unknown. But the nature in which she pulled away from my lips, a slow action that only remained connected due to a strand of saliva, soon became all that remained of the moment we just shared.

(Y/n): "Uh, um...Did we...Did you..."

Rumi: [Smiles to Herself] "Uh, yeah...?" [Chuckles Slightly] "Um, sorry that was so sudden! It's just, um...I kinda had a different itch this time around, huh?"

(Y/n): "...Oh...Um..."

Honestly, I really didn't know what to say. And that feeling only grew the more I stared into Rumi's eyes. Whether it was the sharp edges of her gaze that were brought on by the darkened skin that made it so alluring. Or the fact that I guess I always had the type of crush on her that all guys have on female heroes. Though, unlike a lot of other guys, they never believe they'd actually meet that person. As for Rumi, going off the way she was smiling kinda made it clear she liked it as much as me.

Which was odd because, well, she was Rumi! She didn't really seem like the person to kiss in passion if not for the heat of the moment. But as time continued, with the two of us continuing to look at one another, Rumi slowly began to move in once more. Unbeknownst, I began to do the same. However before our lips connected for the second time, I quickly pulled myself back and turned my head away. Something Rumi quickly picked up on. And going off her reaction, she wasn't a big fan of it.

(Y/n): "Rumi, I--I can't! I'm sorry!"

Rumi: "Huh? What? Why not? Did you not like it?"

(Y/n): "No! No, I did! I-I didn't NOT like! It's just I--"

Rumi: "Then why not? Is it because I'm older? But I'm not some 'old' person! I'm still young! You think I'm hot, right?"

Hot...Would be an understatement.

(Y/n): "No! I think you're very...hot, I just--"

Rumi: [Bouncing up and down] "Then why don't you wanna kiss me?!"

(Y/n): "Because I have a girlfriend!!"

The words came out quick and sudden, and once they were, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. As soon as I realized what I said, I turned back to Mirko to see her reaction. And surprisingly...She seemed okay.

Rumi: "Oh...Alright then. I didn't know. Sorry, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): "Huh? Oh, um...Th-That's okay?" [Thoughts] "That was too easy...Right?"

Rumi: "Yeah. So... Is it the girl that was in here before? She's pretty cute."

(Y/n): "Oh, um, yeah..." [Smiles Softly] "She's pretty great...Um, I'm sorry, Rumi? I didn't mean to be a buzzkill about all of this suddenly."

Rumi: "No. No. That's fine. I guess I kinda did jump the gun. Besides, a hot guy like you in a school with girls, shouldn't really be surprised you're taken."

(Y/n): "...Haha, uh...Yeah..."

Honestly, it was still a surprise to hear Rumi talk like this. Nevertheless, I'm glad that it didn't turn into a bare-knuckle fist fight after I told Rumi I had a girlfriend. In fact, things went rather great after this. A moment or two passed by before Rumi bounced off the edge of the bed and got to her feet where I began walking her over to the exit of my room. As we walked we spoke, I thought things were in the clear when we finally said our goodbyes. But just as Rumi was in the process of lifting the door from the doorframe, she suddenly paused and turned back to me.

Rumi: "Oh! One more thing! Tell your girlfriend to keep a good hold on you. Because I'm the type of girl that doesn't just sit around and let their itch just keep growing." [Grins] "Sooner or later I'll come for you~"

That final remark seemed to sum up Mirko as a person in the perfect way. It showed her charm, her confidence, her lack of defeat, and most notably...Her skills at making the most double-meaning sentences to life. I mean, as soon as her sentence came to an end all I could do was just stand in place with a massive blush crashing onto my cheek. All the while Rumi offered me a wink before she removed the door from the doorframe completely, turned around, and put it back in place as she left.

It was definitely the craziest of exits I had ever witnessed in my short life. And crazy enough, it wasn't the craziest thing to happen in all of the last five minutes. But honestly, in a way...I couldn't help but smile at it all. Mainly because despite how weird and crazy it seemed, it just went to show just how colorful my life had become after such a bleak start. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way, even if I got the chance to do so.

[3rd Person POV]

--A Few Days Later--

"You look really nice today!"

"Um...T-Thanks!?"

"Want me to hold your bag?"

"Um...You don't have to."

"I-I know! It's just...I want to!"

"Um, in that case, uh...Sure?"

"Alright, cool! Oh! And I got you a juice from the vending machine on my way here!"

"Thanks...? Um, you know you didn't have to, right?"

The confused words brought on by one, Uraraka Ochaco was swiftly followed by semi-anxious laughter. Though the one to bring such a noise was not Uraraka herself, but her boyfriend, (Y/n) Midoriya. Just a single look up at his face was all it took for the young girl to realize he was still incredibly unsure about everything that happened in the past two days.

(Y/n): "I know. Again...I just wanted to." [Nervously Chuckles] "I mean, it's not weird for a guy to want to get something for his girlfriend, right?"

Uraraka: "Well, I guess not. A-And don't get me wrong, (Y/n), it's nice you're offering to help! It's just..."

(Y/n): "Just what?"

Uraraka: "Oh...You know? Haha... It's just coming off in a, oh... How do I put it?"

"You're being a bitch, bro."

(Y/n): "What?!"

That one word was all (Y/n) could explode from his mouth before his gaze, along with his girlfriend's, suddenly turned around to land directly on the blank expression of the bundle of "joy" that was Katsuki Bakugo. The scruffy blonde tiredly blinked as he took a sip from a bottle of chocolate milk in his hands. Even as the cold liquid ran down his throat, Bakugo did not pull his gaze away from his best friend. Such left (Y/n) to take the matters of progressing this sudden conversation into a more precise direction.

(Y/n): "What the hell, Bakugo?"

Bakugo: "...What?"

(Y/n): "What?! What do you mean, 'what'?! Don't call me a bitch for being nice to my girlfriend, dude!"

Bakugo: "Oh..." [Slowly Drinks Milk] "...I'm not calling you a 'bitch' for being nice to your girlfriend."

Uraraka: "You're not?" [Mumbles to herself] "Huh, I guess I'm starting to lose my track record when it comes to understanding Bakugo..."

(Y/n): [To Bakugo] "Then why did you call me it?"

Bakugo: "Because, you offering to carry Uraraka's bag, buying her juice, and saying she looks nice isn't fooling anyone, dude. We know why you're doing it."

(Y/n): "U-Um...What?" [Nervously Chuckles] "I-I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just telling my girlfriend she looks nice..." [Turns to Uraraka] "Which you do, by the way! Better than any other girl I've met before!"

It seemed (Y/n) really wanted to get that point across, and whilst in any other situation Uraraka would have felt immense embarrassment and warmth from hearing it, right now, the young girl knew (Y/n) was saying it because he still felt he hadn't made up for the events that took place a few days ago. And honestly, if Uraraka was being serious, it was kinda getting a little over the top.

Uraraka: [Sighs & Smiles] "Look, (Y/n), it's really sweet that you want to do all these things for me, but you don't have to. I told you I forgive you!"

(Y/n): "Bu-But...Mirko kissed me? That's something you wouldn't like, right?"

Uraraka: "Well, no. Not really. But it's not your fault. You said she came onto you, and that as soon as you realized what happened, you stopped it, right?"

(Y/n): "...Yeah..."

Uraraka: "Then I don't really see a problem with it. Besides! You literally told me right after it happened, it's not like you were trying to keep it a secret from me. So please stop being upset about it, okay? You don't have to do things to make me happy. I already am happy...I get to be with you!"

It was clear by the soft smile and enthusiastic words on display that Uraraka was trying her best to make her boyfriend realize how truly fine she was with him, and not mad that some older woman who most teenage boys fantasized about happened to kiss him without her permission...She was fine. The only problem was, (Y/n) still felt guilty that such a thing even happened. So, in hopes to make it up to Uraraka, he had spent the last few free days he had to make it up to her in any way possible.

Whether that be taking her out shopping; going to the carnival or the movies; getting ice cream and other treats. Anything to make her feel special, because that's exactly how she was to (Y/n). And whilst Uraraka was shocked when she heard Mirko kissed him, to the point she was willing to confront the Pro Hero right away, never once did she feel any sort of anger towards her boyfriend. Because she knew (Y/n) wasn't the type of guy to do anything to hurt her. In the end, all the young boy could do was lower his head and smile to himself, comforted further when Uraraka gently took his hand into her own and returned to pulling him off in the direction of the train station which would take them to school.

It was as the pair walked along the sidewalk, decked in their U.A. uniforms, a prominent side eye could clearly be felt coming from (Y/n)'s left edge. And upon looking over his shoulder slightly, (Y/n) saw the cause. Bakugo, in the process of mid-skulling his chocolate milk, didn't dare to blink as he narrowed his gaze onto his best friend. It didn't take much more than the event of the past few days for (Y/n) to realize Bakugo wasn't himself. The prolonged staredown currently only confirmed it further.

(Y/n): [Sighs] "...What?"

Bakugo: [Removes bottle from mouth] "...I don't see you offering to carry my bag, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): "And why would I do that?"

Bakugo: "...Uraraka isn't the only one you betrayed, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): [Scoffs] "You're seriously not putting yourself on the same level as my girlfriend in this particular situation, Bakugo? Mirko kissing me doesn't hurt you--In fact, why aren't you overtly excited about this?"

Uraraka: "Actually, now that you mention it..." [Looks at Bakugo] "You've been surprisingly calm about that the last few days, Bakugo. In anything, you seemed more upset than me."

Bakugo: "Well, duh, O-chocco! Of course, I'm upset!"

Uraraka: [Mutters to herself] "Geez, sorry...Princess."

Bakugo: "Excuse me?! What the hell did you just say, air brains?!"

Immediately, Bakugo turned his sharp gaze down towards the brunette upon picking up on the last line. When Uraraka sensed this, she couldn't help but giggle silently to herself. This caused Bakugo to become even more annoyed, but before he could say anything to the girl, he was interrupted when the hand of (Y/n) came to a pause in front of his face.

(Y/n): "Look, dude, I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was interning under Mirko. But in my defence, I didn't tell you because I know you'd go over the top."

Bakugo: "I'm not over the top, (Y/n). If anything, I'm under the top."

Uraraka: *Cutely Giggles*

Bakugo: "SHUT UP, PINKIE PIE! I WILL COVER YOUR DESK WITH GORILLA GLUE!"

Uraraka: "Huh? What?"

Bakugo: [Narrows Gaze] "...You heard me."

All Uraraka could do was tilt her head in confusion, meanwhile, Bakugo never broke his narrowed case once. Not until he was forced to when (Y/n) slung an arm over his shoulder and began pulling him away from the busy sidewalk within the city surrounds to stand over near a trio of vending machines selling various items. It was in this spot that (Y/n) hoped to finally clear the air with his disgruntled best friend.

(Y/n): "Okay, this needs to stop."

Bakugo: "I agree. This does need to stop."

(Y/n): [Raises eyebrow] "...Okay, I'm going to go off the ledge here and presume you mean something completely different to what I mean when I say this needs to stop."

Bakugo: "Depends. What do you think needs to be stopped?"

(Y/n): "Well, obviously, it's you bei--"

Bakugo: "--That you should just give up on trying to control your love life and let me handle it."

(Y/n): "Hu...What?!"

Bakugo: "Face it, (Y/n), I love you, but your character changes every single week, and if you can't handle the fact that a smoking hot babe kissed you, then how are you going to handle it when countless girls come up to confess to you at once?"

(Y/n): "Wha...I...Tha...That's not going to happen, dude!"

Bakugo: "With a mindset like that, sure. But not if I have my way."

(Y/n): "Why do you even care about my love life so much, huh? Honestly, I should have asked that from the very beginning, but I just presumed you were bored or some shit."

Bakugo: "Trust me, (Y/n), I have my reasons. And I would share those reasons with you, but seeing as we're lying to each other now, then I don't see why I need to."

(Y/n): "Dude! I never lied to you!"

Bakugo: "Oh, really? Because last time I checked, you told me you were interning under Death Arms. And after yesterday, I can clearly see Death Arms didn't do shit to teach you anything, if anything, Death Thighs did!"

Nothing but repeatedly blinks came from (Y/n) in this moment. Obviously, he was confused. He was confused at how this conversation was even happening right now, and he was also confused as to why Bakugo went so over the top when it came to girls. Like, honestly! Sure, Bakugo was Bakugo, but even this was a little too much for (Y/n). A part of him kinda wanted to get serious for the moment to properly confront the blonde about all of this, but when he glanced back up at Bakugo to see nothing but an empty void in the shape of Bakugo's body, (Y/n) was forced to snap back to reality.

(Y/n): "Huh? What?" [Looking around] "Bakugo? Where did you go?"

"Look, (Y/n), I'm not mad! ...I'm just disappointed, okay?"

Immediately spinning around to face the direction the voice came from, (Y/n) was once more left confused when he saw Bakugo had just simply returned to walking off into the distance. He didn't even bother to look over his shoulder as he did so, Bakugo just kept walking, and that's all that was needed for (Y/n) to finally drop his head in dismay. Not out of sorrow...But annoyance. However, it was as (Y/n) kept his head low, that Bakugo proceeded to walk past the idle Uraraka. But whereas the young brunette was simply there to watch the blonde walk by, unsure whether to intervene or not, she was suddenly brought to a standstill when Bakugo spoke a sentence she was not expecting.

Bakugo: "...I know why you're really not mad..."

His words were direct and without hesitation, to the point, a subtle noise of concern was forced out from Uraraka's lips upon catching word of the sentence just said. But just like (Y/n) earlier, before she could comment on anything, Bakugo had already moved on without saying anything else. And even when Uraraka seemingly gathered herself, she was suddenly startled to life seconds later.

(Y/n): "I just sometimes can't understand that guy."

Uraraka: [Shock] "HUH?!"

(Y/n): [Casually turns to her] "Hmm? Oh, I was just saying I can't understand Bakugo sometimes. You know?"

Uraraka: [Nervous] "O-Oh, um...Haha...Yeah, right...Haha...Bakugo is really weird, huh? So weird. Weird guy...Hehe..."

(Y/n): "Um...Yeah...Weird? Hey, Uraraka, you're really not mad at me, right?"

Uraraka: "What? No! I'm not mad! And not for any particular reason or anything! I'm just not mad, (Y/n)! Haha! Relax, okay? Now, c-come on...We've got school to get to!"

(Y/n): "Oh, uh...Right."

Before he could say anything else, Uraraka quickly latched her hand into his own and proceeded to not only pull herself away from the spot on the sidewalk but her boyfriend as well. All (Y/n) could do was simply try his best to not fall over as his girlfriend showed strength like never before. And though he was still most certainly confused by the weird way she was acting, a part inside of him suggested that she wasn't this way because she was mad...But perhaps there was something else going on in the mind of the cute brunette that (Y/n) had no idea about. However, it wouldn't be for long before something else took (Y/n)'s attention.

******

"Yeah! There he is! The Hero who defeated Stain!!!"

It took no more than a few seconds of the front door to Class 1-A's homeroom to open, and (Y/n) stepping in, before a declaration of his events with the Hero Killer were brought up. It just so happened that the first person to start this wave of cheering and congratulations that followed was Kirishima, who quickly jumped to his feet upon noticing (Y/n). Following this, all the other members of the class also got to their feet and began offering their applause to (Y/n). Familiar faces all around smiled and cheered on their classmate, all the while (Y/n) could only nervously smile back as he leaned down and whispered toward his girlfriend.

(Y/n): [Whispers] "...Is it just me, or is it after every big event I'm involved in, the next day always involves this same scenario of the class cheering for me?"

Uraraka: "Well, I mean, all those moments you did something pretty big. This time you even defeated a Hero Killer, it'd be weird if they didn't cheer for you, right?"

(Y/n): "Huh...I guess you're right."

Quickly following this (Y/n) proceeded to return his gaze back toward his classmates, as he did, he found the strength to drop the hesitant smile and replace it with a fully pure one. It was with this smile that the young boy, along with his girlfriend and best friend, began their adventure toward their seats. Of course, the journey of such did not go without the countless pats on the back and cheerful fist bumps from the people that made up Class 1-A.

Eventually, the group did find their spots, with (Y/n) and Bakugo taking theirs at the front whilst Uraraka continued toward the back of the class where hers was located after saying her goodbyes to her boyfriend. For a moment longer, (Y/n) watched as Uraraka pressed further into the back of the class, more relief that she wasn't really mad at him filling his spirit. Enough that he was able to take his seat and get ready for class...of course, it wasn't long before his attention was pulled away.

"...There he is~ The man of the hour!"

(Y/n): "Huh?"

Lifting his head, (Y/n)'s field of vision was suddenly filled to the brim with the smiling faces of Kirishima, Sero, Mineta, Kaminari, and almost all the other boys of his classroom.

(Y/n): [Smiles] "Oh...Hey, guys. What's up?"

Kirishima: "What's up? That's it?! You seriously can only say that after everything you've been through?!"

Sero: "Yeah, dude, you beat Stain!"

Mineta: [Jumps onto Sero's Back] "Yeah, the Hero Killer! You defeated him, (Y/n)!"

Sato: "Not only defeated him, you crushed him, dude!"

Ojiro: "We saw the papers. Stain looked like he really got a taste of his own fear, huh?"

"YEAH!!"

The cheers combined from the boys gathered was enough to flood the room with ease. The voices were loud enough that (Y/n) had to blink a few times after the effects were over, but even before he had fully gathered himself, the others were already back to talking.

Sero: "I mean, I couldn't believe it when I heard it, dude! You actually defeated Stain!"

Mineta: "The Hero Killer!"

Kirishima: [To Sero] "Well, duh! Of course (Y/n) was the one to defeat him. He makes the most sense out of all of us to do it!"

Mineta: "Yeah! (Y/n)'s awesome, and not just because he gets all the attention of girls! He's like...Really good at fighting too!"

Sero: "Haha! I guess you've got that whole thing down now, huh, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n): "Wait. Wait. Wait. How...How do you guys know I did it? The papers said a vigilante di--"

Kirishima: "Pfft! Please! As if it could be anyone else but you!"

Mineta: "Yeah, we know you, (Y/n)!"

Sato: "This is what Sero meant by getting the 'whole thing down', right, Sero?"

Immediately, (Y/n) turned toward the aforementioned tape-slinger of Class 1-A to see Sero suddenly blush at the attention brought back to him. Leading the young boy to awkwardly speak out his next sentence.

Sero: "Well, I mean, this is, like, your second big moment in just the few months you've been at U.A. involving villains is all. Like, first, it was the attack on USJ, which you stopped, and now it was defeating Stain. It's like all the bad guys in this world are directed at you!"

Kaminari: "So, of course, it'd be you! Plus, you were, like, injured in the hospital."

Sato: "And there's no way the person you were interning under cause you all that pain, right?"

Sato and the others just laughed, but (Y/n) didn't laugh...He just got flashbacks. Flashbacks of everything that went down in that hospital room. How Mirko effortlessly held him down on that hospital bed and--

Kaminari: "Hey, speaking of you getting all the villains attentions, I just thought of something." [Turns to the others] "I guess we can say that you're not just a chick magnet, (Y/n), you're a villain magnet as well!"

Kirishima: "I just can't wait for the day the villain that (Y/n) comes across is a girl." [Grins] "It'll be funny to see how Bakugo reacts to that." [Turns around] "Huh, Bakug--"

Kirishima, equipped with a grin and the spark to tease his friend in the likelihood of (Y/n) coming across a female villain, was suddenly brought to a pause, however, when he was shocked to find that for the first time in the few months in which Kirishima had known Bakugo, the young blonde was not completely locked in on the topic of girls and (Y/n). The most shocking part of it all was when everyone turned around to follow Kirishima's gaze, only to see the aforementioned blonde with headphones over his ears whilst he flipped through the pages of a manga. It took a few seconds for everyone to adjust to the shocking discovery before them, but even when they realized they were not seeing things, they still found themselves unable to comprehend it.

Kirishima: "...What...Is going on...?"

Sato: "...That's not Bakugo...Right?"

Sero: "There's no way that's him. We're talking about (Y/n) and girls, that's like...His favourite subject at school..."

Mineta: "[Whispers in awe] "...And it's not even a real subject..."

In one motion, the gathered faces of all the shocked boys blinked in union at the unbelievable sight before them. All the while (Y/n) just rolled his eyes, whilst others in the room that weren't gathered around the table, like Todoroki, Iida, and Aoyama, just watched on in slight confusion or lack of interest. But for the boys that were present, the sight before them seemed to be the only thing that mattered right now.

Mineta: [Suddenly turns around] "Guys...I think this disproves the theory."

Sero: "What?! No way! This doesn't disprove anything!"

Mineta: "Oh, it totally does!"

Kaminari: "How does it disprove it, Mineta?!"

Mineta: "Isn't it obvious, Kaminari?!"

The two quickly fell into a fierce glare-off, as others such as Sato, Sero, and Ojiro just crossed their arms in disagreement with Mineta's statement. All the while, (Y/n) just casually looked up at the boys as he tried to clue himself in on what was going on.

(Y/n): "Um...Anyone want to tell me what we're talking about?"

Mineta: [To the others] "Here! Let's get (Y/n) to decide! He'll prove that I'm right!"

Kaminari: "Or he'll prove that you're wrong!"

Mineta: "How can I be wrong about this?!"

(Y/n): "GUYS! ...What's going on?"

Mineta: [Glares up at Kaminari; Mutters] "Great going, Kaminari...You made him angry."

Kaminari: "HOW DID I--"

Mineta: [Ignoring him; turns to you] "Okay, (Y/n), listen to this. For a while now, me and the others have come up with a theory. We believe that Bakugo isn't really Bakugo...But a girl with the quirk to shapeshift--"

Sero: "--And we believe that when you were a kid, you did something like save this girl, and she wanted to become your friend--"

Sato: "--But we believe she thought you wouldn't want to be a friend with a girl, so she used her quirk to change herself into the person we know as Bakugo--"

Kaminari: "--All so she could become your best friend and one day reveal herself and confess to you that she's been in love with you this entire time!"

In this one moment...for the first time...(Y/n) contemplated about joining his brother earlier than expect... He was willing to risk it all just so he never heard a sentence like that again.

(Y/n): "...What...In the hell...Was anything you just said?"

Kaminari: "Look, we know it may sound ridiculous to you straight up. But trust me, we've discussed this enough to the point we all believe it's plausible. At least a little."

A union of nods between Mineta, Sero, Sato, and Ojiro all confirmed such.

(Y/n): "What in the--Discussed this? You've talked about this before?"

Sero: "A few times, yeah."

(Y/n): "Where?!"

Mineta: [Casually speaks] "...On the group chat."

(Y/n): "You guys have a group chat for this?!"

Kirishima: [Mutters] "...You guys have a group chat?"

Mineta: [To you] "Well, the group chat isn't just about the idea that Bakugo is secretly a girl, that'd just be weird!"

Sero: "...It's just a very large part of the group chat."

Sato: "We also talk about TV shows and share baking recipes. Honestly, (Y/n), it's pretty fun. You should join."

Kirishima: [Mutters] "...You asked (Y/n) to join?"

Once more, everything seemed to ignore the muttered voice of Kirishima. Though it wasn't on purpose, but mainly because everyone was focused on (Y/n), who just looked up at the friends in front of him in complete disbelief that they have a group chat and discuss stuff like...THIS!!

Kaminari: "Anyway, we're getting off the important matter--"

Mineta: "--That Bakugo's clear disinterest in this moment PROVES that the theory isn't true! Look, guys, we've just gotta find another one. I know! How about the theory that--"

Sero: [Groans] "No, Mineta, you are not really unconscious and in the real world you're a 6'5 bodybuilder who has a harem of girls. It's just not true, dude."

Mineta: "It could be! You don't know that!"

Kaminari: "I'm pretty sure the whole world knows it, bro."

Sato: "Yeah, man."

Ojiro: "Yeah."

The complete acceptance of this by everyone else left Mineta shattered, but he would not back down from his dream. It was as this confrontation turned bitter, that (Y/n) decided to follow Bakugo's route out of this whole situation by placing some headphones into his ears and completely forgetting about explaining why Bakugo really was acting like this...despite how funny it would kinda be to tease him in the matter. But (Y/n) decided against that in the end and went about simply listening to music before class started. However, before he could select any one song to play, his attention was suddenly pulled back to the chaotic world around him when a soft, steady voice through the aforementioned chaos enters his ear.

"(Y/n)."

In the end, it was only his name spoken. But that was all that was needed for (Y/n) to lift his head, and upon doing so, he was greeted by the sight of Iida, gently looking down at him, standing before his desk. Honestly, (Y/n) had completely forgot about everything he and Iida had gone through with the whole Stain fight, mainly due to the fact a large majority of his mind space had now been corrupted by everything to do with his previous conversation with the boys. But all it really took was a simple reach of eye contact between both Iida and (Y/n) for the latter to remember it all, and in the end, that was a hook enough to lead (Y/n) to slowly remove the headphones from his ears.

(Y/n): "Um...Hey, Iida?"

Iida: "Hello. Um... Look, I...I know we never really got a proper moment to talk after everything that...happened. But, um..." [Sighs] "I'm sorry, (Y/n). I'm...I'm really sorry. I'm not very good at apologising in times like this, especially after everything that has happ--"

(Y/n): "Hey. Hey, Iida...It's cool. Really. You were under a lot of stuff, it made you the way you were out there. I get that. I've been there too. It's not a good place, but we can't help it. So you don't have to apologise, dude, really...It's cool."

(Y/n) tried to make that factor as known as possible, adding to the meaning by making sure he had his best genuine smile on display for the boy with glasses before him to see. Because what (Y/n) was saying...Was the truth! It was cool! He held nothing against Iida, and he knew exactly what Iida was going through right now. He went through a similar path when Izuku died. He felt angry, and without hope. He knew Iida was going through the same, and he knew it was a rough situation to be in.

The only factor that was different between Iidea and (Y/n)'s situation, was that (Y/n) was going to be there to help Iida, unlike how (Y/n) had no one who understood the situation to help him back then. (Y/n) wanted that to be known through the smile he offered Iida now, and for the most part, that smile was enough to give Iida reassurance that he could smile as well, and maybe...move on from it all.

But in this time that came where Iida and (Y/n) just looked up at one another, the boy with glasses couldn't help but be reminded of the words he had overheard from (Y/n)'s hospital room just a few days ago. He had intended to apologise to (Y/n) then, but when he realized Bakugo and Uraraka were already with him, he decided to hold it off. But before he could walk away, the topic of conversation that the group were already in caught his attention enough for him to ideally stand outside for a moment.

"...I don't do what I do to get praise. I do it because I know what it's like to lose. To feel helpless. To feel like no one is there to save you. I know that pain...and I know what it's like to be angry...I didn't put on the mask to receive praise. I put it on so I could honor my brother. He died because I couldn't save him. Because there wasn't a hero to save him. And for so long now, I tried, desperately, to be the hero Izuku would want me to be."

When Iida first heard this from outside (Y/n)'s hospital room, it felt as if his entire body had been struck by a hundred bricks. The pain he already felt from the words he barked at his classmate without knowing the full lengths of his conviction to honor his brother was now doubled, tripled, beyond that! It was made far worse because Iida did not only realized his situation with his own brother was nothing compared to (Y/n)'s; in the sense Iida still had Tensei, (Y/n) had no one... But there was also the fact that (Y/n) carried this goal with him. A goal to honour his brother in being a hero, it was a conviction that Iida could understand.

He always wanted to be like Tensei, and luckily, even if Tensei wasn't able to be a hero anymore, Iida still had the comfort of seeing his brother every day. But (Y/n) wasn't able to do that, and with more days passing by that Iida spent with his classmate, he came to understand just why (Y/n) was the person he was. He had so much sorrow, so much pain inside that he barely showed to the others. Just imagining what he must feel like inside broke Iida more than anything else, to the point yet another wave of sorrow entered his system in this very moment, to the point he could no longer keep his smile.

SMACK!

Iida: "(Y/N) MIDORIYA, I, TENYA IIDA, HUMBLY BEG FOR YOUR FORGIVINESS. I TRULY DO NOT DESERVE IT, BUT I AM ONCE AGAIN BEING SELFISH HERE, BUT I COULD NOT GO ON IN MY LIFE WITHOUT BEGGING YOU TO FORGIVE ME OF THE PAIN I HAVE CAUSED YOU. I WILL DO ANYTHING IT TAKES TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU, EVEN IF YOU WISH TO NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN! I WILL EVEN QUIT THE HERO COURSE IF YOU SO PLEASE...A DISGRACE LIKE ME SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO CALL MYSELF A HERO ANYWAY!!!"

The thunderous wave of Iida's voice came seconds after he had suddenly dropped his head in a bow, his forehead slamming right onto the centre of (Y/n)'s desk. But believing that the pain he felt now was nothing compared to the pain he brought (Y/n), Iida only proceeded to press his forehead into the wooden surface more and more as he screamed from the top of his lungs for forgiveness. Of course, a sight like this didn't go unnoticed. Only a few seconds after Iida first screamed a single word and everyone was already looking at him.

But what made it worse was the embarrassment (Y/n) felt from the moment. He could only awkwardly look around as Iida screamed and pressed his head further into his desk. Thankfully, in a sense, the misery of embarrassment seemed to reach an end when Iida finally lifted his head up from (Y/n)'s desk to look up at the aforementioned boy with tears threatening to fall from his eyes at any moment. It was definitely a sight (Y/n) never wanted to see again, but right now, he had no choice but to see it.

Iida: "PLEASE, (Y/N)! PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THE PAIN I HAVE CAUSED YOU!!"

(Y/n): [Hesitantly] "Uh...I-It's cool, dude, really, I..."

Iida: "FORGIVE ME, EVEN THOUGH I DON'T DESERVE IT, PLEASE! FORGIVE M--"

(Y/n): "I FORGIVE YOU! I forgive you...Now...S-Stop crying, okay?"

Taking his orders as if a soldier would, Iida, using all his might to stop crying as (Y/n) commanded, quickly stood back up and saluted toward the boy before him. Without another word, Iida turned around and returned to his desk in front of (Y/n), though the sound of silent tears could still be heard. Of course, this was not (Y/n)'s main focus now. Instead, his focus was directed on the countless sets of eyes that were looking at him from all over the classroom now. What made it worse was all he could do was awkwardly chuckle as he nudged his shoulders, knowing full well he wouldn't reveal anything that involved him and Iida. Both out of standards...and embarrassment.

Though, even with this embarrassment, inside, (Y/n) couldn't help but smile. Because despite how all of this may seem bad, it also went to show that for the first time since he was a kid, his life was finally seeming to come that...a life. A life he could enjoy as (Y/n) Midoriya, whilst also being able to take that life as a serious mission when he placed on the mask. The mask he used to honour his brother. Unbeknownst to (Y/n) at this point, he had finally reached the point of his life that he had been waiting for. A place where he was able to separate his desire to honour his brother, whilst also being able to enjoy life. For the longest time now, (Y/n) believed he couldn't do that.

That he wasn't worthy enough to enjoy life, and saw himself only as the mask of a hero willing to do anything to avenge his brother and save those who couldn't save themselves. But now, after everything with Iida and Stain,  (Y/n) realized maybe he could be both. He could enjoy life and still be willing to keep his promise to his brother. It was through that understanding that the young boy was able to find his happiness in a moment that seemed to be the exact opposite. And whilst it may not have seemed that way to others, near the back of the room, Uraraka couldn't help but smile toward her boyfriend, sensing the good mood rising from him. Though, before she could think on it anymore, she was abruptly interrupted by a familiar voice.

Hagakure: "Huh? I wonder what Iida is crying to (Y/n) about?"

Uraraka: [Startled] "Hmm? Oh! Uh! I-I'm sure it's nothing--Definitely not something we have to worry about! I'm sure they're fine! Haha!"

The brunette quickly turned towards the invisible girl next to her with her best attempt at a smile. Of course, Uraraka knew what was really going on with the boys, but with being unsure of whether or not she should bring it up with anyone else, this response was the best Uraraka could think up of in the moment. Thankfully, it seemed Hagakure wasn't too phased by it...Well, that's what Uraraka guessed, seeing as the girl before her was invisible, so she couldn't really tell. But another thing that brought about such an idea was the fact that Hagakure was already eagerly awaiting to say her very next sentence.

Hagakure: "So?! Did you tell him? What did he say?! Was he okay with it?!"

Uraraka: "H-Huh? Tell who, what?"

Hagakure: [Groans] "Aaahhh!!! Come on, girl! You know what I'm talking about! (Y/n)! Have you told him about if he'd be down to date Yaoyorozu and Me--"

Before the Invisible girl could finish speaking, out of nowhere her mouth was covered by Uraraka, who pounced off her seat to quickly wrap her hands around the girls invisible mouth before her sentence could finish.

Uraraka: "Hagakure! Don't be so loud with it, okay?" [Whispers] "We don't need the entire world knowing!"

Hagakure: "Um...Uraraka? You're holding my forehead...?"

Uraraka: "...Huh?"

Slowly dropping her eyes, Uraraka could be seen seemingly pressing her arms against empty space right in front of a pulled out chair across from her desk where a floating uniform could be seen. Uraraka originally thought Hagakure's face was level with her own, leading the brunette to confidently reach out to cover the mouth of the invisible girl. Unfortunately, Uraraka ended up missing the mark, as it turns out Hagakure had been shorter in this position than Uraraka had expected. So now, the cute brunette was now just awkwardly pressing her palms against the invisible girl's forehead, whilst her mouth remained free a few inches below...

Uraraka: "...O-Oh, um..." [Shakes Head] "...T-The point still stands! Y-You can't just say it out loud? What's if someone heard and told (Y/n) before I did?"

Hagakure: "Pfft! Please! No one's going to tell, Uraraka, and they're all busy focused on your boyfriend to do so."

(???): "Um...I'm still here?"

Uraraka/Hagakure: "Huh?"

In that moment, the two turned toward the voice, their eyes carrying them to the final row of chairs behind them. The chair behind Uraraka held Yaoyorozu, but currently, the rich girl had her face buried in her hands groaning about something in sorrow. She wasn't the one to talk. Instead, it was the chair behind Hagakure that had spoken. The person in that seat being none other than Todoroki...Who had just heard everything the girls had said. And as soon as Uraraka realized this, she grew worried. She still wasn't sure if (Y/n) and Todoroki were rivals still, or what, and the uncertainty of that was making the girl go crazy.

Uraraka: "UH! UM! T-Todoroki! Uh! You...You didn't hear anything, okay?"

Todoroki: [Blatantly] "...Are you asking me, or telling me?"

Uraraka: "Um...Telling...You?"

Todoroki: "The uncertainty in your voice doesn't show well for your relationship with (Y/n) if something like this happens again..." [Sighs] "...But don't worry, I don't really care about your relationship with him. I won't tell anyone."

Uraraka: "Ugh! Yes! Thank you, Todoroki! Thank you!"

Immediately, Uraraka got down on her knees, brought her hands together, and bowed her head to show Todoroki her gratitude for him not revealing anything. Unfortunately, this was seen as weird by absolutely everyone else...

Hagakure: "Um, Uraraka...?"

Uraraka: [Looks Over Her Shoulder] "Hmm? Yes?"

Hagakure: "You're being weird...Get up."

Uraraka: "...Huh?"

It didn't take Uraraka very long to realize what her friend was referring to. So, as soon as she did realize such, the small brunette quickly got back up to her feet and returned to her seat. There she sat with an embarrassed blush for some time, that was, until she heard a muffled groan come from Yaoyorozu behind her.

Yaoyorozu: [Muffled] "Why does my life suck so much right now?!"

Upon turning to look at the girl, nothing but the top of Yaoyorozu's black-haired head could be seen, the young girl still pressing her face into her arms that were positioned on her desk.

Uraraka: "Um...Yaoyorozu? Is everything okay?"

Nonchalantly, Yaoyorozu began to lift her head.

Yaoyorozu: "Hmm? Oh...Yes, I'm alright..."

Of course, a few seconds after this Yaoyorozu immediately dropped her head right back down into her open arms. Seconds later a muffled groan came from the enclosed mouth of the wealthy female.

Uraraka: "Um...Yaoyorozu? Are you sure you're okay? Because it doesn't seem--"

Hagakure: "Don't worry about her, Uraraka, Yao-Momo is just upset because she feels she's blown every single chance she has to get (Y/n) to like her--"

Yaoyorozu: [Suddenly lifts head] "--It also doesn't help that I spent so much time in my internship expecting to learn something, but all I did was stupid modelling work! Argh!" [Drops head; Muffled] "Why is nothing going my way?!"

Uraraka could only awkwardly chuckle to herself, struggling to comprehend everything that just went on, as more muffled groans escaped Yaoyorozu's concealed lips.

Uraraka: "Um...What exactly made things bad with (Y/n), exactly?"

Hagakure: "Oh, you know, Yao-Momo tried texting him like a literal hundred times asking if he wanted to hang out, but every time she got close to sending it, she'd just delete everything and start again--"

Yaoyorozu: [Suddenly Lifts Head] "--Everything needed to be perfect! Because I didn't want to just rely on you, Uraraka, to make this happen for me. I wanted to play some part in it!"

Uraraka: "...Oh...Um...I see..."

Another wave of awkward laughter escaped her mouth as Yaoyorozu dealt with her inner struggles.

Uraraka: "L-Look, Yaoyorozu...I wouldn't fuss about not being able to text (Y/n), okay? It's not a big deal..."

Yaoyorozu: [Slowly Lifts Head] "...It's not?"

Uraraka: "Nope. (Y/n) isn't really the type of guy that judges a person off whether they text him or not. Basically, if you're cool with him when you're around him, and he likes talking to you, then you're higher up on the ladder of friendship than you think."

Yaoyorozu: [Smiles Brightly] "Really?! So I've been worrying about nothing?!"

Uraraka: "Uh, huh. Pretty much!"

These words alone seemed to bring quite the amount of relief to the rich girl, who now refrained from dropping her head in misery and was now smiling joyously like she normally would. Something that was enough to make Uraraka happily smile herself.

Hagakure: "Wow, Uraraka, that was a really good way to put it."

Uraraka: "Oh! Thanks, Hagakure--" [Chuckles] "--Unfortunately I can't take the credit for it. Most of that came from Bakugo."

Yaoyorozu: "Bakugo? Really?"

Uraraka: "Yep. He's pretty insightful like that. Though...Instead of 'friendship' and a few other things, they were pretty much replaced with 'future girlfriend status, as he liked to put it..."

Yaoyorozu: "Oh..."

Hagakure: [Blankly] "Yeah...That sounds more like him."

Uraraka: "Hehe...Yeah..."

Hagakure: [Shakes Head] "Anyway! Back to the matter at hand, Uraraka..." [Turns to the girl] "--So?! Did you tell him? What did he say?! Was he okay with it?!"

Uraraka: "...Huh? Oh! Um...N-No, I haven't told him yet..."

Hagakure: "WHAT?! YOU HAVEN'T TOLD HIM YET?!"

Yaoyorozu: "Great! My grief is coming back!"

Uraraka: No! Yaoyorozu! It's okay! Really!" [Turns to Hagakure] "Hagakure! Not so loud, okay?!"

Eventually, the pressure of it all that came from the freaking out Yaoyorozu and the loud Hagakure left Uraraka unable to function. This led her to need a reboot desperately, and that reboot came with the simple task of releasing as big of a sigh as she could. Only once that puff of air had escaped her lungs did the young girl continue.

Uraraka: "Okay, look! I know you guys have been waiting on this for awhile, but it's not easy to tell MY boyfriend that I'd be cool with him dating other girls!"

Yaoyorozu: "I...I suppose you're right."

Hagakure: "No, it's not! Really! Just tell him! He's a boy! He'll be okay with it! Trust me!"

That remark got a whack to the back of the head by Yaoyorozu, something that stunned the invisible girl abruptly.

Hagakure: "Hey, what was that for?"

Yaoyorozu: "Stop putting stress on her, Hagakure. Uraraka is right. (Y/n) is her boyfriend. The only reason we have a chance with him is because she's kind enough to let us confess."

Hagakure: "So let us confess already, okay?! I'm getting impatient!!"

Uraraka: "Look, guys, I would, a-and I planned to...I mean...Now's better than ever before."

Hagakure: "Huh?"

Yaoyorozu: "What do you mean, Uraraka?"

Immediately a blush found the brunette's face as a nervous smile followed shortly after.

Uraraka: "O-Oh, um, well...You guys know how (Y/n) was interning under Mirko? The Rabbit Hero?"

Yaoyorozu: "Oh, yes. She has quite lovely hair."

Hagakure: "And her thighs are to die for!"

That remark was all it took for both Uraraka and Yaoyorozu to turn towards the invisible girl and just look at her in confusion.

Hagakure: "...What? She does!"

Uraraka: [Shakes Head] "Whatever. The point is...Um...It seems her and (Y/n) may have made quite the, um...connection...and, uh...well...when he was in the hospital after I left...She may have, um...Kissed him?"

"...WHAT?!"

The loud explosion of shock that erupted from the mouths of Yaoyorozu and Hagakure was most definitely heard by everyone in the classroom, to the point almost everyone turned to look back at them. Thankfully, the girls were prepared and played this off by girlishly giggling and putting it up to 'girl talk' when asked by Kirishima if they were okay. Now, you see, the topic of 'girl talk' is one of the most frightening aspects to a boy. Because whereas boys will chat about nearly anything and not get uncomfortable when it comes to girls and their talks...yeah...that thing...it scares them. Enough to the point everyone immediately dropped off the trio of girls and went back to their own thing. Meanwhile, so did the girls.

Hagakure: [Loudly Whispers] "What?! Mirko kissed (Y/n)?! Are you serious?!"

Yaoyorozu: "Are you okay, Uraraka? Why would (Y/n) do such a thing?"

Uraraka: "No. No. Guy's, it's okay, it wasn't (Y/n)'s fault. Mirko started it, and ended it as soon as she found out he had a girlfriend. Besides, he also told me right away after it happened, so it's fine."

Yaoyorozu: "Oh...Okay."

Hagakure: [Sighs] "Thank goodness. I had already put so much effort into liking (Y/n), I didn't want to go about putting so much more on another boy later on."

Uraraka: "Um...Okay?" [Shakes Head Again] "Look! The point is, when I heard this, I thought...Whilst I'm not mad with (Y/n)--and especially after how sweat he has been since it happened--I thought it'd be the best way to kinda get you guys and him together. Like, if he felt sorry...he could do this for me. A-And it's not like he isn't getting anything out of it. And as we already agreed, if he didn't end up feeling the same for you guys, then that's alright. We'd go on like nothing happened."

Yaoyorozu: "I see. So...There's no problem then?"

Uraraka: "No. Well, uh, actually...Maybe one. You see, when we were walking to school earlier today, Bakugo said he knew why I wasn't mad at (Y/n). So I'm worried that he knows about all of this."

Hagakure: "Well, that's okay, right? I mean, this is Bakugo--His hero dream is to get (Y/n) with a bunch of girls, right?"

Yaoyorozu: "Actually, that reminds me...Why is Bakugo so set on getting (Y/n) with so many girls?"

Hagakure: "Yeah, like, I like the guy, but doesn't it come off as a little...much? Especially for (Y/n)?"

Uraraka: "Now that you mention it...I actually don't know myself. Neither does (Y/n). I think Bakugo just does it because he's Bakugo? I don't know, but, uh--Argh! We're getting distracted! Look! I'm worried that Bakugo is going to tell (Y/n) and that's going to ruin everything!"

Hagakure: "So what are you going to do then?"

Uraraka: "I'm going to confront him...At the start of our first class. I'll ask him what he knows, and to not tell (Y/n)."

Yaoyorozu: "And that'll work?"

Uraraka: "I hope so!? I hope so..."

But right now, that hope seemed to be the only thing that Uraraka and the other girls had. Funnily enough, it was as they came to this conclusion that the bell sounded for the first class of the day. This caused a wave of nerves to spread through Uraraka's body as she shifted her gaze to Bakugo a few seats ahead of her, who was still listening to music as he read his manga. The thing was, however, whilst Uraraka saw this as her only worry, unbeknownst to her, there was another. And that worry came from a few seats to Uraraka's right, where it was revealed that Todoroki wasn't the only person who had accidentally be dealt the hand of listening to every word spoken by the three girls. Unfortunately, the problem that was now laid bare was that the person who heard all of this was none other than Akiko...

Akiko was, of course, the girl (Y/n) had a crush on when he was young. But after the entire situation with her and Kaito, leading her to say such terrible things to the young boy, Akiko, the niece of Eraserhead, was most definitely the last person you'd want to know the secret you wanted kept from your boyfriend. All the girl could do was look on at the three girls not far from her current position and look around confused as the shock of what she just heard entered her system.

--Later--

But for everyone else, the day was just like any other. And by the time the bell sounded for their first class, the group of students from Class 1-A left their homeroom and took off for the Training Grounds just on the outskirts of the school area. The particular training ground they were asked to meet at today was Ground Gamma, which was a landscape that consisted of an industrial site compiled by many factories that formed a labyrinth.

The labyrinth contains tons of heavy machinery including cranes and pipelines which make up the majority of the surrounding area. It was at the entrance of this ground, that the students of Class 1-A now found themselves. All of which decked in their hero outfits, of course, amongst them was the familiar green and yellow of (Y/n)'s costume, which had since fully been fixed after his fight with Stain.

Ashido: "Wow, (Y/n), your suit looks as good as new!"

Kaminari: "Which is a little surprising after what you've been through?"

(Y/n): "Huh? Oh..." [Looks down at his suit] "I guess. I mean, the old one was pretty torn up. Thankfully for me, Mei was more than willing to fix it up for me whilst I was in the hospital."

That one mention of a name not everyone was familiar with was all it took to cause a new topic to fill the air. Out of everyone's reactions though, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu's were the best, as they knew Mei from teaming up with the girl during the Sports Festival, but to everyone else it was simply a name they didn't know.

Sero: "Mei? Who's that, (Y/n)?"

Ashido: [Sinisterly chuckles] "Is that your new girlfriend, (Y/n)~"

(Y/n): [Blushes Quickly] "Wha-What? No! Really! She just wanted to fix my suit is all!"

Ashido: [Grin Intensifies] "I'm sure that's not the only thing she wanted to fix~"

(Y/n): [Sighs] "...You're starting to sound like Tsu, Ashido..." [Realizes] "Speaking of which, I'm surprised she actually hasn't--"

Tsuyu: "...Hello, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): [Thoughts] "I am my life's greatest enemy."

That was the final thought to enter (Y/n)'s mind before he turned around, upon doing so, he was greeted by the still face of Tsuyu Asui looking up at him.

(Y/n): [Tries to Smile; Mutters] "...You didn't hear what I just said, right?"

Tsuyu: "No." [Tilts Head] "What did you say?"

(Y/n): [Thoughts] "Great, she didn't hear anything." [Out Loud] "Oh, not much. What's up?"

Tsuyu: [Thoughts] "Unfortunately, whilst I did not hear what you said (Y/n), I already know what you were saying. I can tell by your stuttering, your nervous blush, that it's a dead giveaway. You...Were confessing your feelings for me, but yet you are too afraid to say them to my face. I can only be as forward as I can, but you must take that final step. Do you not know that I already feel the same...?" [Out Loud] "...Nothing much, just saying hi."

Though that was not what (Y/n) was expecting Tsu to say; more so thinking she would say something perverted, the boy was left surprised by this but didn't go any further with it. Shortly after, Tsu began to walk away, seconds later though, (Y/n) was joined by a grinning Kirishima who didn't waste a second to launch an arm around his friend's shoulder.

Kirishima: [Grins] "So, (Y/n)...You and Mei, huh~"

(Y/n): "Dude, come on, I--"

Kirishima: [Turns to his left] "Hey, Bakugo, you hear this? Another girl likes (Y/n)!"

Instantly, (Y/n)'s gaze followed that of Kirishima's voice to see Bakugo standing to the side next to Mineta. He wasn't doing much. Just standing there, arms crossed, clearly not wanting to be there. But when he heard Kirishima call out to him, he reluctantly turned in the direction of the redhead and (Y/n) who stood behind him. The eye contact was enough for (Y/n) to hope things could smooth out between himself and his best friend, but all Bakugo did was just narrow his gaze before shifting his head in the opposite direction.

Kirishima: "...Uh! Silent treatment, huh?" [Turns to you] "Sorry man, thought that could help fix things between you guys."

(Y/n): "Don't worry about it, Kirishima." [Calls out] "Bakugo is just being a Princess!"

Bakugo: "Ugh!"

The nickname was enough to make Bakugo's already spikey hair double down, but still, the blonde kept his back turned, though it was obvious on the other side that Bakugo was annoyed beyond belief. Something only Mineta could get a view of.

Kaminari: "Um...Guys? We were asked to meet here, right?"

Ashido: "What do you mean?"

Kaminari: "Well...Where's our teacher?"

"I am here!"

The confusion in the crowd of students was suddenly brought to an end when out of nowhere their designated teacher for the class entered out with quick speeds from the side. That teacher, dressed in blue, white, red, and yellow, was, of course, none other than the Number One Hero himself... All Might!

All Might: [Strikes a Pose] "Ha! Ha! Sorry, I am late, class! But I am here now, okay!"

Everyone: "All Might!!"

All Might: "Yes. Yes. It is I. Now then, getting straight into today's class of hero basic training! And today we have a special class! Because seeing as you've just come from your internships, we'll have some fun today with a rescue training race!"

The prospect of having something fun for class was enough to get a lot of the students excited. It was as this excitement began to build, that an unknown figure began approaching the scene from behind.

Iida: [Raises Hand] "If we are rescue training, then shouldn't we be doing it at USJ?"

All Might: "That place is for training during disasters. Besides, did you not hear what I said?"

Iida: [Still Holding Hand Up] "Hmm?"

At that very moment, a proud grin found All Might's lips. In the same moment, the unknown figure approaching from behind, the one clouded by shadows, began to send their gaze through the crowd of themed students before them. Their eyes shifting past one after the other, until the familiar green ears of a particular hero caught their attention...and their focus.

All Might: [Grins] "Remember students, I said today's class was going to be a 'race', and this labyrinth behind me is the perfect testing ground to see how all of you can maneuver when surrounded by tight places."

Hearing this started to make a few of the students question just how this could be fun, that's when All Might kicked in again...

All Might: "But ducking and weaving through narrow spaces isn't difficult enough for you great lot. You've already gone through so much that you easily show your improvement over other classes. That's why today we are blessed with the arrival of U.A.'s brand new 'Intensive Training' Teacher!"

It was fair to say that at the mention of a new teacher at U.A. most definitely built up the intrigue amongst the students. Of course, it led plenty to begin thinking who exactly could have applied to be a teacher at U.A. out of nowhere, and who exactly would they choose to be a teacher for 'Intensive Training'? Well, (Y/n) had an idea, and honestly, it made him chuckle just thinking about it. But there was no way that could happen. She wouldn't show up here...

All Might: [Looks Past The Students] "Oh! And it looks like they're here!"

Everyone: "Huh?"

All Might: "Well then, instead of me introducing this particular person, I feel they are ready to introduce themselves."

A sharp grin quickly cut across the lips of the shadowy figure, one that did not hold back as they launched high into the air towards the gathered students in the not-so-far distance.

All Might: So, in that case, students of Class 1-A, put your hands together, and make your voices loud, for your new Intensive Training Teacher..."

BOOM!

Out of nowhere, this unknown figure came down hard on the ground right beside All Might. The cloud of smoke from their entrance enough to cover their body.
