_______ CELESTE JEFFERSON was many things; unique, exotic, intelligent, courageous and some would say even an overachiever. Unique was a statement, with a name as hers no one ever forgot her over-arrogant attitude. Oftentimes finding herself being the starting point for brawls at the bars. Yet in her studies, she mainly kept to herself when needed as she did not care for much social interaction. Her friends often teased her of this, especially Arnie, Frankie and Jackson. Arnie had been a close friend as their fathers served together in WW1, even with the set dynamics in that time.

——-MAJOR JOHN EGAN, a man whom was everybody's idea of the devil-may-care wartime bomber pilot. Wearing his hat askew, often with a moustache, and a carefree attitude. He was the role model for the newly arrived air crews joining the 100th Bomber Group at Thorpe Abbots. He could turn on the charm and turn it off whenever he liked. He frequented the local pub in Dickleburgh sometimes rolling up in a jeep, then singing songs in the bar with the locals.
