i've always liked to play with fire
Chastity was infamous for absolutely despising sin and wanting all of them to die, Diligence right under her in that hatred.
She'd spent millenia tracking down sins and vaporizing millions of them in her long, neverending hunt for them.
The world will be pure one day, she had promised her juniors, Purity and Innocence.
Innocence is not a virtue, Chastity knew, but the virtue's real name is too monstrous to be talked about.
Purity had smiled up to her in their dove mini form, Innocence's white snake form curled up around Chastity's neck.

Wrath was notorious for his complete and total revulsion and ire towards virtues, especially his own rival, Patience. His disgust was rivaled only by Envy's disinterest (and of course envy) towards the virtues.
He had no reason to track virtues down and kill them, so he didn't, but that didn't hinder him from harming every virtue that happened to cross paths with him.
They'll all die, I promise you, Wrath had said to his juniors, I promise you I will kill all of them.
Chaos, Murder, Violence, and Rebel had cheered. They had cheered, for the promise of mayhem has been said, and they had known that Wrath isn't one to break his promises.

Chastity dropped on firm, solid earth, her senses immediately detecting a sin. A strong sin.
Yet another impurity to be cleaned.
She followed the strong fetor of the thick aura until she arrived in front of a house with plenty of rooms and a sign that said "For Rent: Rooms.
Even though the sin's aura was still sharp and annoying, Chastity felt a virtue's aura.
Slowly, curiously, Chastity knocked on the door.
A man with red hair walked out.
Immediately, she knew who the aura belonged to.
"Senior sin Wrath." Chastity said coldly.
"Senior virtue Chastity," Wrath said, equally cold.
Even though all of the atoms in their feeble mortal bodies yelled for them to move and attack, the pair froze in their places, eyeing each other.
Pink met red.
And they felt a pull, like the north pole and the south pole of a magnet being close but not close enough, the undeniable pull of revulsion and attraction.
Undeniable attraction.
