🎼 - kaede had walked over to where (y/c) was in the courtyard, smiling brightly and waving a bit. " hey ! do you want to spend free time together today ? "

 🥞 - as (y/c) was leaving their dorm room for the morning, they spotted kaede, who seemed to be leaving hers at the same time. when she noticed them in return, she waved, smiling. " hey ! do you want to go to breakfast together ? "

🌊 - kaede took (y/c)'s hand in both of hers, starting to walk out into the hallway. " come on , come on ! the pool just opened up ! you should totally come check it out with me ! "

🎈 - kaede and (y/c) had met up for one of the first bits of free time since the killing game had started. somehow, their conversation had turned to the killing game, and kaede frowned at the topic. " lighten up , okay ? i know this is a hard situation , but let's make the best of it , okay ? "

🧧 - kaede and (y/c) had spent free time together a couple times, and were now meeting up again. when they asked what kaede was interested in doing, she smiled brightly. " i want to learn about your talent ! "

kaede had managed to get (y/c) alone, assuring them that it was safe, and she wasn't going to try to hurt them or anything. when they accepted, and were alone, kaede confessed her feelings towards (y/c). at seeing their expression, kaede quickly added on before they could. " i'm ... aware that a confession feels tone-deaf in a killing game . but i couldn't just ... not . " - 💌

kaede and (y/c) had ended up confessing their feelings to one another. when kaede asked what came next for them, and they suggested that they start dating, kaede visibly hesitated. " you're ... sure you want to start a relationship in a place like this ? " - 💓

kaede led (y/c) outside by the hand, into the courtyard. it was getting dark out, and you could see the stars through the dome keeping them inside. " yes , i figured out a date for us , even in a place like this . are you impressed ? " she laughed. - 💝

when (y/c) started to express doubt about their situation, and that they were worried that the both of them wouldn't make it out, kaede put her hand on theirs, squeezing it gently. " we'll get out of here together , okay ? i promise you we'll be a real couple . " - 💗

⏳ - the amount of time left on the deadline for a murder happening, or monokuma initiating a group execution, was ticking down, and everybody was on-edge. kaede and (y/c) were walking around the school together, and kaede seemed to have forgot her backpack— but (y/c) felt how abnormally heavy it was and got suspicious, opening it and finding a shotput ball. turning around to see what was going on, kaede tensed when she saw her weapon of choice in their hands. " listen ... (y/c) ... this isn't what it looks like . "

🧨 - in the middle of an increasingly stressful and confusing argument in a trial, kaede suddenly broke out in tears. " i ... i just can't do this anymore ... ! if we lose , we all die ... ! "

 🔪 - (y/c) had planned to kill kaede— they were going to try to make it quick, and barely let her know it was happening, before kaede turned around and noticed it, of course. " ... (y/c) ... ? what's going on ? why are you l - looking at me like that ? "

🕯️ - kaede had accidentally walked in on... what seriously appeared to be (y/c) setting up the room they were in for a murder. when they tried to explain, kaede quickly backed away, shaking her head.  " stay away from me ! "

🗡️ - (y/c) woke up in kaede's dorm room, with a searing headache, and no recollection of how they got there. the pianist had a few medical supplies by her side— bandages, hydrogen peroxide, and the like. when she noticed they were getting nervous, she quickly tried to calm them down. " hey . look at me , (y/c) . i'm not going to hurt you , i promise . i want to help . "
