It had been a while since Shu had gone back to normal after becoming Red Eye.

Though he still hadn't really forgiven himself for what he did back then. He was extremely guilty, and felt really said all the time. He hurt everybody, left them, didn't care for them. Shu always felt like he had let everybody down, He tried not to show it in front of everybody tho.

"I hate myself for what I did...how could I? How could I do that? I am so stupid stupid!" He always said to himself.

Lately he had been getting distracted a lot. He just couldn't get his mind of his past.

But y/n was very observant, and she had noticed that Shu has been distracted lately. She had felt that he also wasn't in the mood, and even though he had always said he's fine, y/n knew something was wrong.

Right now, it was just a normal day, and y/n had decided to finally ask Shu what had been keeping him distracted these days.

She went up to his office in knocked on the door, and when Shu said "come in" she opened the door and walked inside, closing the door behind her.

"Oh, it's you, y/n. Have a seat."

Shu said. Y/n sat down on a chair.

"What is it? Is something wrong?"

He asked.

There he goes again. Y/n thought. Acting like he's okay, when he's not. I know he's not.

"Yes, something is wrong in fact. Can I ask you something?"

"Of course. Go ahead y/n."

When y/n started to ask him the question, Shu had zoned off again.

It must be about me...something I did...I always let everybody down...

"Shu!!"

Y/n said, and Shu snapped out of his thoughts.

"Y-yeah?"

"Did you hear me?"

"No, sorry..what is it?"

Shu said, and y/n sighed.

"Shu..." she started. "Are you okay? I know you always say you are, but...I just know something has been distracting you lately. What is it Shu? You can tell me, you know."

"Y/n...look...I know I can trust you buts there's no need to worry. I'm perfectly normal."

And then y/n had decided she had had enough. She git up from her seat and stood up.

"Shu!! Please Shu, I'm serious! Why can't you let other people help you? If you would just...let me hear you out, I might not be able to fix your problem but atleast I'll help you get through it! So please Shu."

Shu was surprised by y/n's reaction. He took a deep breath then said "fine." He continued. "Alright. I'm sorry for worrying you tho y/n..anyway...I just cant seem to forget my past..and-"

"Shu, is this about the red eye thing?" Y/n cut him off, and Shu nodded. "Shu, why are you troubled by it? You didnt do it intensionally so.."

"But I hurt everybody. Ignored them. Left them behind. I let them down. See all That? I can't just forget it. I'll always hate myself for it."

"But none of it was you fault. None of it. And I believe that. Shu, I get it, you did that stuff, but the blame doesn't go on you. It wont, and never will. So please Shu, don't be depressed..."

Shu gently smiled. It had been a while since he actually meant it.

"Thanks y/n...I feel a bit better now.."

He said, and took y/n hands in his.

"I mean youre welcome but why are you holding m-my hands?"

"I've got to tell you something. Y/n...I love you. I always have. Will you please be my girlfriend? I-it's alright if you don-"

Y/n cut Shu off, and kissed him softly.

"I love you too."
