kaede was honestly surprised that this didn't happen sooner, since she'd been dating the ultimate astronaut for a few months. but here they finally were, sitting on the highest natural point of the hope's peak campus, stargazing while kaede listened to kaito ramble about the stars and the constellations and the planets.

if kaede was being honest, she didn't understand a lot of what he was saying; she wasn't familiar with astronomical terminology. but she loved what she did understand, and she loved hearing his voice anyways.

while he was explaining the orion constellation, kaede turned from her back to her side, facing kaito as he spoke. god, he was so cute when he talked about the things he loved. she propped her head up on her hand, watching him as he continued to ramble on.
