"I'll help you with everything I got to help you retrieve back your memories, I promise" Jin offered me his small pinky finger to intertwine mine with.

I didn't move an inch. I only stared deep into his light brown eyes, he chuckled and let his pinky finger down.

"Here, I'll show you some pictures" I examined his movements as he took his phone that was laid on a small table beside my bed.

I had some courage to scoot a little over to his direction to get a better view of his screen.

"Here's your picture with your family I took on our trip to the Hanok village" he zoomed the picture so I could get a better view of my family's face.

A middle-aged woman first caught my sight. In the picture, she was standing on the left side of my skinny figure. Her body was lean, a little bit shorter than me. Her dimples are very much visible, her smile spreading wide. A middle-aged man was seen on the opposite side, dark-haired with a few white-colored hairs popping out.

"Remember them?" his voice asked. I shook my head.

He scrolled, revealing a photo of me carrying a toddler in my arms. Her rosy cheeks puffed, her short hair braided in tiny. A wide smile was plastered in both of our faces.

"Who is this?" I was afraid to ask since it made me feel horrible in the inside for forgetting every important person in my life.

"Your sister, Byeol" his soft chuckle washes away my empty feeling. "She's breathtakingly adorable".

An immense amount of guilt rushed through me as my mind couldn't find even a little memory of my family.

"This photo was just a few years ago when you graduated college" he explained, index finger pointing at his screen.

His thumb made a scroll.

Our picture showed up.

The landscape behind us was a beach, with a few other humans captured in a picture. His elbow resting on my right shoulder. A happy smile was smeared on his face while mine was pouting.

"And yeah, there's us at the beach where we visit every Saturday for a morning jog" he shut off his phone afterward. "I'll bring you there when you're good enough to go out of this hospital"
