"Oh! You're awake!" and again, the first thing I heard after my deep sleep was his particular voice ringing through my ears.

I squinted my eyes to see a clearer view of an object laying on his lap.

"Remember this?" He soon realized that I was staring at that certain object that happens to be a regular laptop.

The laptop went to my lap.

"It's just a laptop" I was puzzled, meanwhile his face dropped instantly.

"I bought you that laptop approximately two years ago, for no apparent reason" he chuckled. "Both of us enjoy watching Netflix on our couch every night"

"Oh..."

"Cmon, let's watch your all-time favorite drama" his exclamation was followed with his body moving closer to the edge of my bed to get a better view of the laptop on my lap.

He gave a final press on a button and a movie started to play.

....

Halfway through, my head started to throb in pain and I had a difficult time focusing on the movie as I drifted away.

I sipped my boiling hot cup of coffee, leaving a sting on my upper lip. I brought my body to lean back, his arms circling my shoulders, being my pillow.

and I was watching the exact same film along with him.
