The thing about anger is, it's short-lived, but destructive. Without hate to fuel it, it's meaningless - just passing by as if it's a storm cloud on a hot summer day, lightning striking the ground, then evaporating like water in the desert.

But that's not what Wrath does. Most of the time, he doesn't unreasonably get angry. Beneath his flaming outward appearance is a wit as sharp as and as cold as ice itself.

Most of the time, he thinks, and that's what makes him Wrath itself, not just blind rage.

Perhaps he thinks a little too much.

Every move he does in this relationship is calculated - it feels too fragile. He doesn't want a repeat of what happened in New Zealand. Even though he looks nonchalant about it, deep down he's scared.

But Kiana is patient. She knows, and she understands. Every slip-up and every failure, she forgives, and Wrath knows that he doesn't deserve the forgiveness, not really, not at all.

And yet Kiana is there, willing to destroy herself to help Wrath become a better person, willing to jump into hell if it means that he will be able to get out of hell.

She thinks Wrath is worth saving.

Wrath knows he isn't.

It had been dangerous, downright deadly, even, but she'd endured everything, having fallen for a sin itself.

Always willing. She is willing to destroy herself for Wrath, if it means he grows from the experience. She's willing to jump into hell for him if needed.

She'll be strong. She is strong.

She'd always been strong, even when subject to racism and general hardship. In the face of danger, when Wrath got carried away, she didn't cry.

Instead, she fondly remembers the short memories they'd made in the short time that they've been together, and clenches her fists.

Wrath is worth saving.

She'll save him herself.
