"Ready?" Arbitrous asked, grinning like crazy, holding a red balloon by the tail with his left hand.

Kindness glanced hesitantly at her pink balloon, then looked back at Arbitrous. "Ready," she said nervously.

At once, they released their grip on the untied balloons and inhaled the helium in it.

The one that started speaking first was Arbitrous. His voice had been dramatically altered—it was high-pitched and ridiculous.

Envy, who was watching the two people he called his partners and who he was considering to disown from the sidelines, silently took out his phone and recorded it. Kindness didn't look tense anymore—instead, she was laughing every few words she managed to say.

Arbitrous took another balloon, inhaled the helium, then looked at Kindness and said, in the squeaky voice he had due to the gas, "You have something in your hair."

Then the two doubled over with laughter wile Envy sighed from the side and pumped more helium balloons while recording.

He had refused to participate in the ridiculous challenge, not wanting to be blackmailed.

But, times like this are times when he realized, no matter how idiotic his partners are, he loved them.

(Their idiocy is probably why Envy loved them in the first place.)
