SUMMARY

Ushijima Wakatoshi's mind has never wavered from volleyball.

However, being the ace of the powerhouse school Shiratorizawa and having to live up to his own standards gives him burdens that he never discloses to anyone else. No doubt, volleyball still gives him that thrill, but a growing sense of emptiness forces him to wonder if he lost something along the way.

Something changes when he gets a dream in which a girl with a sunny smile meets him in a field of lavender. She asks for help, and although he doesn't know what for, he gives a curious affirmation, marking the beginning of nightly conversations.

In conversing with her, Ushijima Wakatoshi begins to discover more about himself.
