Overall fairies of darkness are extremely powerful, though their power hard to control. Most have been killed over the years, either by other fairies of darkness or by burned ones.
↳Shadow manipulation. Calypso is able to manipulate shadows. This can not only darken a whole room but also hide her from the eyes of others.
↳ Darkness manipulation. Through her dark fairy side, Callie has the power to produce pure negative energy that resembles a black, viscous liquid or mist from her body and manipulates the element for a multitude of purposes.
↳Telepathic linking. Callie is able to envelop two separate targets with her negative energy to link their minds together.

↳Telekinesis: Callie has demonstrated the ability to telekinetically move objects or other individuals without physically touching them. Her telekinetic powers have been able to throw people across rooms and lock doors into place, keeping strong individuals from entering. Callie is a rather quiet individual. She does not often talks in groups, actually, she prefers not to talk with strangers at all. In class, she will only talk when she's asked a question and never volunteers to answer. At the first sight, she seems to be shy. But as soon you get her to talk, you will notice she has a rather strong opinion and her reason not to talk isn't because she's shy, it's because she honestly doesn't think anyone is interesting enough to talk with. She is dismissive of most people. She is not interested in teen drama, she has to much going on to be sucked in any kind of drama. Try it and she will walk away. Some would say she's arrogant, thinking she's better than anyone. The truth is, she doesn't. Not at all. She is just too tired for everyone's shít. If people are going around, purposely creating drama, she will act dismissive towards them. They are not worth the drama or the trouble.

Edgy is a word used to describe Callie more than she would like. She's rather sarcastic. Often rolling her eyes, sarcasm is like a second langue to her. She is not one to react with brute force, instead she will destroy you with her sarcasm. Intimidated? Who? Not her for sure. Callie isn't easily intimidated, she would rather laugh things off or stare at you until you back down. Callie often uses her intelligence as weapon. She has a mix of book and street smarts. Her mind in sharp and she makes sure to keep it that way. Physical fighting is a lot more barbaric, she would prefer to keep it to a debate. People often underestimate the mind, while it's one of the most powerful weapons a human, or fairy in this case, can posses. Callie has a rather dry sense of humor. She seems like she doesn't laugh easily, but when you make jokes that fit her kind of humor, you will get her giggling in seconds. She doesn't talk about it a lot and it can come as quiet a shock to some people to see her laugh. It's almost like people expect her to not feel human emotions. Callie is also very honest. She doesn't like to lie, feeling like it makes her loose her grip on control. Something she wants to keep at any cost. Callie wants to be in control at all moments

Callie is actually rather insecure. No, she isn't insecure about how she looks, or at least not in the way many teenage girls aren't. Neither is she insecure out what people think and say about her. Her insecurely is about something much more sinister. Rather than being afraid about what people think of her, she's afraid what she will do to those people. She's afraid to loose control. Power is linked to emotion. Everyone knows that. Unfortunately the main emotion they Callie feels is fear. She's afraid to tap on her power, she's afraid of the dark origins and this often causes her to hold back. This fear and uncertainty are the reason why her control is lackey and her magic dangerous. It's like a never ending circle. The fear of hurting someone close to her is the reason why she's so quiet and judgemental. She pushes people away as soon they come too close to her. Her fear of letting people on, that is her real weakness. Her walls that never get down, are what is really breaking. If she's honest, there is nothing she would want more than to belong.

If one would posses the incredibly talented to get past her walls, they would feel see the love that is burning in her heart. She is loyal to the fault. She will always stand by her friends. She will be their shoulder to cry on. She is someone you can share your secrets with. Snitching is a word that isn't in her vocabulary. Callie cares a lot. She might not show it, she might not admit it, but she cares. It would be a lie to say it takes a lot to win her heart. Her walls are not easy to take down, but that doesn't mean she doesn't cares about people. She will do what she can to protect people, but she will never admit it's because she cares. It's easier to pretend not to care. Callie can be caring and even sweet when she's around her friends. She has a surprising soft side that she doesn't mind showing around people who have won her trust. People are often surprised at this side of her. It's, like was mentioned before, as it people expect she doesn't feel emotions. They just see her as some freak who studies a lot and can kill with her gaze. Nothing is further from the truth. Callie feels a lot, and she doesn't know what to do with those emotions. They confuse her, scare her. Which is a reason why she never lets people in, which is why she doesn't like showing how much she cares.

Callie is a changeling, that much she knows. Her exact birthday is unknown, but she was born around the 25th of December, the day she was found by her adoptive parents. They were returning from a Christmas dinner when their car started to act up. The lost control over the wheel, no matter what they did, they couldn't get control back. Their car drove from the road, right into the empty fields that surrounded their town. Just when they thought they were going to die, the car stopped. Unsure of what to do, they slowly opened the door, still in shock about what happened. That was when they heard the crying. Both of they ran towards the sound. Right in front of the car she laid. A new born babygirl. She was wrapped in blankets, crying and all alone. The couple didn't know what to do. They searched for family, but when they could it find them, they took the baby and brought her to the police office. The asked if any children got missing that week, but no one came to collect the child. After a week the police called them back. No one was coming for the child, they asked of the couple would like to adopt her. They accepted, both full of pity for the abandoned child. They named her Calypso as that was the name sewed in the blanket she was wrapped in. The first years of her life, she didn't know about the other world. She didn't know about being a fairy or about anything magic. However, she never fit in. She always was the one that didn't fit in, the one that was different. It was like everyone understood that she was different, but didn't quite grasp why. Children would avoid her and call her name. They would be afraid of her, though not knowing why. She was never bullied, but only because no one dared to came close enough to bully her. She was on the outside always looking it. When she was little, she would get upset, never understanding why she couldn't have friends like the other kids. That was when the accidents started. Every time she got sad, something bad would happen. When she was upset, the lights while flicker and eventually dim, when she cried the walls started to shake and when she screamed things started to fall of the walls. Callie's parents had always known she was not their biological, but it was at those moments they understood she was might not even their species.

Calypso was 12 when they told her the truth about her birth, that she was not their biological child but an abandoned baby they found in an open field. It caused a huge fight, Calypso was a teenager who had a lot to deal with. She simply couldn't handle it. Her mental health started to go down hill, her emotions became uncontrollable. The accident happened not much later. She was having a fight with a girl from her school, the girl had somehow figured out that she was adopted and was taunting her about it. She felt immense powerful, she was the first to ever taunt Callie like this. The more words she said, the less control Callie had. Her views started to flicker, so did the lights in the empty classroom she was dragged in. She lost control. She doesn't remember that day clearly, only darkness. Darkness and screams. She blacked out. When she woke again, she was still in the classroom, the girls taunting her laying around her. In pieces. She remembers how police was there when she woke up, someone had tried to wake her up, which was why she woke up. They didn't know what had happened, she told them she didn't know. She wasn't lying. She didn't know what happened, she only knew she lost control and that she killed them. After that things started to get worse. She knew something was wrong with her. Fear and confusion where breaking her apart. It was at that time that Farah found her, and brought her to Alfea. There she learned about her powers. She is still seeking for answers. Who are her real parents? Why did they leave her. And, most importantly, how can she control the darkness inside her?

The two of them have this rivalry going on where they always want to be better than the other, they try to get in line before the other, cutting each other off and more.

↳Callie would get him to quit smoking. The first time she met him, she grabbed his cigarette and threw it away. Of course he was less than pleased. It was on it when they started dating, that he would eventually quit smoking. Mainly because she refused to hold him, or kiss him, when he smelled like smoke.

↳He's the only one who calls her Calypso. She only allows him to call her by her full name. If anyone else, with exception the teachers, calls her by her full name they can expect to get cursed at.  

↳They would eventually get paired up to train together, and that when the sparks start to fly.

↳Calypso is constantly complaining about him to her friends, who share one look and come to the conclusion that she might has a little crush.

↳Calypso has liked him longer than he liked her, but she refused to admit it. She believes he is in love with Beatrix, plus she would rather die than admitting she has a crush. In the end, he's the one to admit he likes her, though grumbly and not very romantic.

↳Riven would be rather protective, making sure that she's save in every battle. He knows she can take care of herself, but he also knows her powers scare her and that physically she's not strong enough to protect herself. In return, she has his back when people talk trash about him.

↳Sky is the one who brings out the softer side of Calypso. At the first, she couldn't stand him. She despised him, even more than Riven. To her, he was the most annoying person on the planet. Oh, so perfect. The golden boy, always exactly like he should be. According to her, he was nothing but fake, and she hated him for it.  But over time the two of them bonded and he would be the one to bring out the softer and sweeter side of her.

↳The other girls can see through her act. She can't stop talking about him, always glares at him and gets a red blush on her cheeks when she talks with him. She says it's because he gets so angry, they think it's because she likes him.

↳He would definitely love to tease and annoy her, watching how the always clever girl searches for words and gets furious with both him and herself when she can't find any.

↳He was ordered to watch her by Silva. The headmistress believed Calypso not to be at threat , but Silva disagreed. He wanted Sky to watch her, win her trust, and make sure she wasn't going to kill everyone on the school.

↳When Calypso finds out, she's both furious and heartbroken. She refused to talk with him, going as far as using her powers to get away from him. However, when she got time to calm down, she started to understand why he did it. In the end she forgave him, but only after he apologised repeatedly.

↳Sky likes to tease her about her hight. Considering he's one of the tallest, and she's one of the shortest. He often calls her Tiny, something that she secretly loves.

↳Sky knows she can handle herself just fine, especially when she starts to embrace her powers instead of being afraid of her. If anyone pisses her off, he would lean back and cheer while she kicks ass.
