Angelica was in a club dancing her ass off. She had just turned 21 and was extremely drunk. She clumsily danced as she bumped into other people. A hand was touching her waist and then her ass, but she didn't recognize it. She turned around confused, staring at some random older guy. He looked to be in his mid 30s. He bit his lip at her which made Angelica cringe

"I'm just gonna.. go" She slurred before trying to love away. His other hand moved to her waist and kept her where she was. Angelica glared at the man

"I thought.. I was.. pretty clear.." Angelica slurred out

"What was that pretty girl? You're slurring pretty bad.." The guy chuckled. She grabbed his hands and shoved them off, but he reattached them quickly after. Angelica lifted up her hand to send him flying but someone had beat her to it. A fist hit the man's face, forcing him to the ground. The hands of the random guy were replaced by the hands of someone she knew well. A drunk smile on her face as she turned to see Kai, the man she was in love with

"I thought you were away at college?! You're here! You came for me!" Angelica said as she stumbled into his chest, hugging. The older guy got up

"Hey?! What the fuck?! We were dancing!" The man yelled. Kai siphoned some magic from Angelica which made her lightly moan. Kai then lifted up his hand and sent the man flying across the club. Angelica was nuzzling her head into Kai's chest

"I missed you so much. I don't get to see you much anymore.. I was worried you'd forget about me.. you'd find someone better.." Angelica began crying. Kai almost felt bad for her, almost. He smirked as he looked down at his girl. He grabbed her jaw and forced her to look at him

"No one could ever replace you, honey" Kai said with his signature mischievous grin. It made Angelica's heart swell. She had missed him so much. Part of their therapy was spending time apart and it was so hard because all she wanted to do was be around him. She was genuinely happy he was here. That was the best birthday present she could've gotten-

Suddenly a sharp pain hit her chest. She was confused as she looked down. A knife in her chest. She began coughing up blood as her dress was becoming soaked. She looked at the hand, holding the knife. Her eyes traveled up their arm before she got to their face. It was Kai? She was confused as he smiled at her

"Baby, did you think I was telling you the truth? How naive are you? I don't need you and I certainly don't love you.. you were just another means to an end" Kai cooed as he cupped her cheek

Angelica opened her eyes to see Kai ontop of her. That's when she felt that pain in her chest. The blood dripping down her mouth. Her eyes went wide as she saw Kai stabbing her in the chest with a knife. She couldn't understand what was happening. His eyes were closed and his face was clearly frustrated. Angelica could tell that he wasn't trying to kill her, because he would've used wood if he wanted to

"Dad.. I've finally done it.. How does it feel?" Kai muttered with a grin. Angelica weakly grabbed his wrist trying to snap him out of his dream but it didn't work. Her consciousness faded and she closed her eyes. Kai's opened and he was confused on why he was ontop of Angelica. He saw the blood coming from her mouth. Kai raised his eyebrow confused

"Angel?" He asked softly as his hand went to wipe the blood away. That's when he noticed the blood on his hands

"What the fuck?" Kai asked confused until his eyes trailed to the knife in her chest. Her blood soaking into the sheets and bed. Kai felt his heart stop as his hands shook. He had killed Angelica. That wasn't right. He wasn't stabbing her, it was his father. It was a dream. How did this- Why? Kai yanked the knife out of her and looked around worriedly before he remembered that she would heal if she had human blood

He used the knife and cut into his skin on his arm. Blood immediately began to drip down. He put it up to her mouth and almost as if it was instinct, she began sucking on it. She was taking a lot blood, a lot. Kai's eyes rolled back at the sensation. He dropped the knife on the bed. Angelica's eyes snapped open before she realized what was happening. Kai's was ontop of her, extremely lightheaded. She shoved his arm away and bit into her wrist. She forced him to drink it

"Kai, what the fuck were you thinking?! I could've killed you!" Angelica yelled upset. Kai drank the liquid before pushing her wrist away. The wound on his arm closing

"I did kill you!" Kai yelled, upset with himself. How could he do that to her?

"I would've come back" She replied

"It doesn't matter.. I hurt you.." Kai said

"You didn't mean to.." She said as she stared at him. His facial features covered in worried. Sweat dropping down his face

"How do you know that?! I fucking stabbed you! Oh my God, I stabbed you! Why would I do that?! How did I eve-" Kai cut himself off as the answer hit him. He clenched his jaw harshly as his hands should. He hopped off the bed to grab his phone. He turned it on and dialed someone

"Malachai? It's 4 in the morning" A voice said. It was a female. Angelica raised an eyebrow in jealousy. He was talking to other women?

"Miranda! I don't give a shit. I want every fucking Gemini witch looking for my father" Kai spat out

"Malachai, you know we can't do that" She replied

"Let me be very clear. You get the Council together and you tell them that my father just fucked with me. He made me kill my fiance while I was asleep. You guys are very lucky she's a vampire, because if she wasn't, she'd still be dead. And here's the thing if she's dead, I'm not gonna wanna live anymore.. you can see how that poses a problem to the Coven. So let me tell you again. I want every fucking Gemini witch looking for his ass" Kai commanded. Angelica bit her lip. He was so hot when he was angry

"I'll have a meeting set up today. Will we be expecting you?" Miranda asked

"Just.. fucking call me" Kai spoke before hanging up. Kai threw the phone onto the bed before he exhaled loudly. He put his head in his hands. This was not something he needed to deal with right now

"Hey, so Caroline went no humanity.. and she's gone" Stefan's voice rang out. Angelica groaned

"You're joking, right?" Angelica asked

"I wish.. look, we could use some help looking for her if you and Kai are up to it" Stefan said. Angelica looked at Kai who was staring at her, waiting for her to tell him what's going on

"Yeah, we'll be there" Angelica said before Stefan hung up

"We'll be where?" Kai asked

"Caroline went no humanity" Angelica explained

"Is that a bad a thing?" Kai asked

"Very" Angelica replied. Kai grabbed his jacket

"Okay, let's go" He said. Angelica and Kai drove to Caroline's house. They met up with Stefan who was on the phone with Elena. The entire house was empty

"It's like she never lived here. How's her house?" Elena asked. Stefan gave the engaged couple a wave

"Empty. Caroline took everything but the doors off their hinges" Stefan stated as Kai looked around the bare living room

"So what, she just flips her humanity switch.. came back to the dorm, took all of her clothes.. and thank-you notes and just left town? That makes no sense" Elena said who was now on speaker phone

"Didn't you burn down your house?" Angelica asked

"Oh, yeah. I remember you guys talking about that" Kai said

"Oh.. hi Angie.. hi Kai" Elena said

"Hi" The two replied

"Do you think she's trying to cut off ties to her past?" Elena asked

"Well, if she didn't want to flip it back on, then it'd be better to get rid of anything sentimental" Angelica stated

"And I certainly don't think she having a yard sale, Elena" Stefan scoffed

"Okay, damn. That was harsh" Kai stated

"Kai's right. Why are you getting mad at me? I'm not the one who did this" Elena said

"I know. I'm sorry" Stefan apologized

"Okay. I'm just gonna look around campus. Maybe someone's seen her. Let me know if you guys find anything" Elena said

"All right. We will" Stefan said before hanging up

"I still can't believe I'm out of the prison world. God those prison worlds suck" Kai said. Stefan's ears perked up

"Did you say.. prison worlds?" Stefan asked. Kai smiled

"Did you not know? Yeah, there's more than one. Like there's this one with a group of heretics.. they're vampire witches.. and their little leader Lily.. oh my God.. Salvatore! Is she your mom?!" Kai asked. Stefan's eyes were shocked

"What? My mother's dead" Stefan said

"Oh, maybe not.. it's just funny you guys have the same last name. She was a ripper. Her and her little cult terrorized the UK back in 1903. The Coven got her ass" Kai teased as he stuck out his tongue. Kai was only recalling what he remembered.  Not really remembering the whole story. Angelica pulled out her phone

Angelica:
Hey, wya?

Damon:
At home, why?

Angelica:
Stay there
I think your mom might still be alive

Damon:
Bitch tf??
My mom is dead

Angelica:
Bare with me

So, here they were. Damon was currently opening his mom's casket while Angelica and Kai watched. He was using a crowbar to remove the locks

"I can't believe I never told you guys. I have control over the prison worlds now that I'm like the leader and shit. Hey, do you need help? Before you answer that, I'd rather not. I just keep experiencing these pangs of guilt watching you. Feelings are hard" Kai said. Angelica leaned into his chest

"So is the end of this crowbar" Damon replied

"I'm just saying, digging up Mommy's grave? It's dark, even for me. And totally unnecessary. I already told you she was in the 1903 prison world" Kai explained

"My mother died of consumption in 1858. We didn't move this to the family crypt only to find out she's not even in here" Damon said

"Then why am I here?" Kai asked

"Because I asked you to be. It's his mom" Angelica explained

"Look, it's the truth Damon. You're gonna open that casket and find it empty" Kai explained

"Whoever you think is in that prison world- it's not her" Damon denied

"Damon.." Angelica trailed off

"Then who is it?" Kai asked

"I don't know. A ghost? Maybe she has an evil Gemini twin" Damon said sarcastically which made Kai smile

"Nice" Kai said

"If she was imprisoned in 1903, she'd be in her 70s" Damon said

"Not if she were like you" Kai said

"I know my mother. She's not a vampire. She is not in a prison world. She died of consumption in 1858" Damon said as he removed the last lock. He was hesitating on opening the casket

"If you're so sure of that, why haven't you opened the coffin yet?" Kai asked. Damon threw off the top and his eyes widened as he stumbled back in shock. Angelica stared at the empty coffin

"Congratulations. Everything you know about your mom is wrong" Kai said, patting Damon's back before he grabbed Angelica's hand and led her out. Angelica's phone went off

Elena:

Angelica:
Mommy Salvatore is in a prison world

Elena:
What??
You mean like Stefan and Damon's mom??

Angelica:
Yup
Damon just opened her coffin to find that it was empty
He's a little out of it now

Elena:
Oh my God..

That's a lot

Angelica:
I wouldn't even begin to know how to react

Kai was going through Damon's things as Stefan had called Damon. He was talking to him about Caroline. Angelica was laying down on the pool table

"So Saint Caroline keeps her halo even with no humanity?" Damon asked

"Until she strangles someone with it" Stefan replied which made Angelica laugh. Kai raised an eyebrow and she pointed to Damon on the phone

"Even if she does.." Damon trailed off as Kai made a bunch of noise. Damon turned to Kai who waved at him. "It could be good for her. You know, blow off some steam. Thin the herd. It's getting crowded around here"

"If she kills somebody-" Stefan was cut off. Kai walked over to the pool table and smirked at Angelica. He put a finger to his lips telling her to be quiet as he got ontop of the pool table, straddling her. She covered her mouth as Kai's hands wandered her body. His lips pressed against her jaw before moving down to her neck, sucking the skin. Angelica covered any noises she made with her hands

"It's not your fault, Stefan. Once you figured out how you felt about her, it was too late. She made her choice" Damon said as Kai's hands were currently groping Angelica's chest. He turned back to Damon who hadn't a clue what was going on. Angelica arched her back towards Kai

"Do me a favor. Check Mystic Falls. See if anybody's missing" Stefan stated as Kai took one of his hands off of Angelica's breasts and then used it to remove the hand covering her mouth. He leaned down and kissed her softly before he stuck his tongue in her mouth. She moaned softly against his mouth

"Will do- what the fuck are you two doing on the pool table?! Stop that!" Damon yelled out. Kai started laughing as he turned to stare at Damon. Angelica looked away embarrassed

"Get off of her! God, if I wanted to watch a porno, I would've looked one up.. God.. I'm gonna have to disinfect that table" Damon groaned as Kai hopped off the table

"You're acting like I fucked her on it.." Kai said rolling his eyes

"You were getting ready to!" Damon yelled

"But I didn't. Hey, I noticed you didn't confirm that your mother was still alive in the prison world. But I get it. Mom's an evil psychopath. Don't wanna ruin little bro's perfect mommy memory" Kai said with a baby voice as he teased Damon

"I'll tell him soon as I know the truth" Damon said. Kai sat down on the couch with a glass of bourbon. Angelica hopped off the pool table and just stood there, awkwardly

"Truth" Kai said

"Which is why you're still here. You can send me to 1903, can't you?" Damon asked

"Technically, yes. I am able to do that. But I'll need the ascendant for the 1903 prison world" Kai explained

"As the newly elected president of the Gemini freaks, I assume you know where to get it. So get it" Damon said

"It's my pleasure" Kai said before he sipped his bourbon

"You want something. Shocker. All right" Damon said as he took a seat. Angelica also took a seat. She was biting her nail as she was currently now extremely horny but could not act on it due to Damon. Kai smirked at Angelica, almost as if he was torturing her

"Well, you guys know that I obviously have issues with Kol. However as far as I know, he's still daggered by his older brother Klaus so he's out of commission.. however I have a new problem. See my raging prick of a father is making moves towards me and you know I'm not really a fan of that. He's going to use my Angel against me and I really don't need that. So, who better than to help protect Angel from my father than a Bennett witch. Now, don't get me wrong I'm not saying I'm incapable of protecting Angel. I can absolutely do it myself, but I would feel better if I had other people looking out for her. My father likes to play games, and unfortunately he can get into my head.. which means I could hurt her with my hands.. I clearly don't want that. So if you want me to bail out your mommy, I want Bonnie's help" Kai explained

"Bonnie hates your guts" Damon replied

"No Bonnie, no mommy. Simple as that. Better figure out how to make her get over it" Kai said. Damon groaned before he called Bonnie. He stood up and looked into the fireplace. Kai put his hand on Angelica's thigh, softly rubbing his thumb across her skin. It sent chills down her spine

"I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm glad you called" Bonnie said

"Uh-oh. Caroline go off the rails? If so, I called it" Damon said

"Gloating in one of my best friend's times of need? It's weird that I miss you" Bonnie said

"Bonnie, I thought I was clear.. our relationship only exists within the confines of 1994" Damon teased

"You think one phone call makes us friends?" She asked. Kai groaned, getting bored of their conversation. Kai leaned over and began kissing Angelica's neck. Sucking on that one sweet spot that made her crazy. She let out a rather loud moan which made Kai smile. Damon snapped his head in his direction

"Stop that. Right now" Damon mouthed as he sent dirty glares. Kai flipped him off

"Did I just hear someone moan? Are you with someone right now?" Bonnie asked

"No, I- I was watching porn" Damon lied

"And.. you called me?" Bonnie asked

"Okay, wait! When you say it like that- that's not- hey, you okay?" Damon asked now concerned

"Well, if scorching some douchebag with my magic is okay, then yeah. Probably. Why did you call me?" Bonnie asked

"So, teensy favor. When Kai merged with Luke, he went through a metamorphosis. He went from a sociopathic caterpillar to a slightly less evil butterfly" Damon began. Kai groaned out a finally

"Yeah, I remember and anyone who believes that is an idiot. Especially Angie. Please don't ever repeat that name to me again. Okay?" Bonnie asked harshly. Damon pursed his lips

"Yeah. Okay. Already forgot about it" Damon lied

"What was the favor?" Bonnie asked

"Don't worry about it. I'll figure it out on my own. Happy raving" Damon said before hanging up

"That was not our agreement" Kai replied, not happy

"Well, she doesn't want to do it. Doesn't believe there's a new you" Damon said

"But there is a new me, and it's about Angel's safety" Kai stated now upset. Damon scoffed and waved his arms around

"You didn't explain it to her correctly. Like, you didn't even tell her about how my father is trying to kill Angel to get back at me. Call again, and tell her" Kai said

"Not gonna happen. End of story" Damon said. Angelica was hurt by this

"Shame. Because Momma Salvatore's story is pretty fantastic" Kai said

"What are you talking about?" Damon asked

"I have a strong lead on the ascendant. I had one of the Council members check the Gemini archives. Lily was captured on a dock in New York City in 1903. I wonder if she was on her way here for you. I mean, it makes sense. She just landed from Europe, where.." Kai trailed off completely catching Damon's attention. Damon had taken the bait

"Where what?" Damon asked. Kai stayed silent

"Spit it out" Damon said. Kai grabbed at his throat

"Sorry" Kai said with a fake cough

"You're not gonna tell me, are you?" Damon asked. Kai let out another fake cough

"Sorry, my throat just got really sore. I'm gonna go find a lozenge. Maybe Bonnie will change her mind by the time I find one" Kai said with a grainy voice as he smiled

Angelica, Damon and Kai had arrived at Caroline's rave. Angelica smiled, loving parties. Parties like this were a place where Angelica felt like she could be free to do whatever she wanted. It was just place full of fun. Kai watched as Angelica disappeared into the crowd

"Shit, I don't want her al-" Kai was cut off

"One or the other.. I don't know how much longer Bonnie's gonna be here" Damon said. Kai grit his teeth. He had to see Bonnie. It was for Angelica, but leaving her alone would also put her at risk. However, there were plenty of people here. He spotted Elena approaching Angelica. Elena would help keep her safe, right?

"Fine, let's go" Kai said. Damon walked down a hallway, telling Kai to stay back for a moment. Damon spotted Bonnie

"Hey" Damon said

"Hey. What are you doing here?" Bonnie asked confused. Kai hid around the corner

"Don't freak out, but-" Damon cut himself off as he motioned for Kai to come over. Kai did as told and showed himself. Bonnie stared at him in horror before looking at Damon

"Hi" Kai said awkwardly

"Let's just get this over with" Damon said

"Yeah" Kai breathed out. Bonnie looked at him with such hatred and Kai couldn't help but feel guilty. He had stabbed her and tried to kill her. He hadn't forgotten. He believed he would never get used to feeling guilty

"Um.." Kai said now beginning to get anxious. His hands started shaking

"Spit it out" Damon said impatiently. It made Kai want to punch the shit out of Damon. Couldn't he see that he was struggling? Did he not care? Of course he didn't care, he was Damon

"I wanted.. to ask for your help.. my father he's.. he's targeting Angel to get back at me.. I can't trust myself.. he can get into my head.. I need your help to protect her.. and I'm sorry for what I did to you" Kai apologized. Bonnie just stared at him. Kai wondered if she couldn't hear him

"Bonnie? Did you hear what I said?" Kai asked confused. Damon squinted his eyes at her odd behavior

"If I see your face again.. I will melt it off" Bonnie said before using her magic to slam a door open. She then stomped out angrily. Kai pursed his lips

"I imagined that going a little differently" Kai admitted

Angelica was dancing with Elena who was trying to figure out where Bonnie went, when all of a sudden a piercing pain hit both of the girls heads. They both fell to their knees, gripping at their heads as whoever was causing this made their blood vessels burst. Angelica cried out as did Elena. Suddenly Angelica felt a hand on her arm

"Angie.." Elena breathed out as she watched Angelica get yanked to her feet and dragged away. It was then, Stefan appeared and saw what was going on. He rushed over and threw the man away from Angelica. He couldn't get a good look at his face, but he quickly grabbed Angelica, holding her protectively. The pain vanished just as the man did

"Who the hell was that?!" Stefan asked as Elena got up to her feet

"I don't know" Elena said. Stefan looked at Angelica and she shook her head. Angelica's phone went off. It was Kai. She quickly answered

"Hello?" She asked

"Oh, thank God. Where are you? I sensed my father's magic. Are you hurt? Tell me where you are" Kai said

"I'm fine. I'm fine. Stefan helped me out. I'm over by the ba-" Angelica couldn't even finish her sentence as Kai suddenly appeared. He hung up and noticed how Stefan was holding her. He didn't like that. Stefan had no ill intent and Kai was aware of that, but it didn't mean he wasn't jealous. Kai quickly grabbed Angelica and pulled her into his arms instead, just as Stefan got a phone call from Enzo

"We should go. Things didn't work out with Bonnie" Kai said. Angelica nodded

"Are you guys good with Caroline?" Angelica asked

"Yeah, head home. If Joshua was bold enough to make a move here, it isn't safe for you two. Kai will be able to protect you better at the house, right?" Elena asked. Kai nodded

"I'll spell the house" He said

"Stay safe. Leave Caroline to us. We'll update you, Angie" Stefan said. Angelica nodded before Kai led her out of the party

"I shouldn't have let you go off by yourself. He wouldn't have done that had I been there" Kai said, upset at himself

"Everything's okay. I'm okay. It's not your fault that your father is a lunatic. Okay?" Angelica tried to make him feel better

"Things didn't even go well with Bonnie.. so I left you alone for no reason. Fuck!" Kai yelled. Angelica got in front of Kai and stopped him. She put her hands on his cheeks, cupping them. She could feel his facial hair, rubbing against her skin

"Baby.. I'm fine. Okay? We're okay. Joshua won't get me" Angelica comforted him

"What if he gets me?" Kai asked worriedly. Angelica shook her head

"He's only done it while you were sleeping. He's had plenty of chances to use you to kill me today, and he hasn't. Which leads me to believe he can only do it while you're sleeping. He's not as powerful as he used to be. So, we're gonna go home. You're gonna spell the house so no one can get in. You're gonna go to sleep and get some rest. I'm gonna stay up all night binging Everybody Hates Chris. It's gonna be okay" Angelica said

"If I go to sleep, I might hurt yo-" Kai was cut off

"That's why I'm gonna be awake. I know this is hard for you to believe, but I'm physically stronger than you. I could snap you in half if I really wanted to" Angelica told him. Kai's mind went elsewhere as he bit his lip. "Kai, no"

"Sorry.." He admitted shamefully knowing he was thinking of dirty things

There was a knock at the front door. Kai was asleep. Angelica paused her show and pulled Nugget off of her lap. She then went to the front door and saw Damon standing there through the peep hole. She opened the door and Damon went to walk in but couldn't

"Sorry. The house is in his name and it's spelled" Angelica said. Fast footsteps ran through the house and towards the front door

"Who's there?!" Kai asked panting in his underwear. Damon pursed his lips as he just stared awkwardly. Kai let out a sigh of relief

"Oh, it's just you.. come in" Kai said as he used his hands to undo the spell for a second. Damon walked in and Kai put the spell back up

"What are you doing here?" Angelica asked as Kai grabbed a coat off the coat hanger and put it on

"I want to know why my mom's stuck in 1903" Damon said. Kai sighed

"You're not bringing your mom back" Kai said. Angelica turned to look at Kai

"If it's about the Bonnie th-" Angelica was cut off

"It's not about that. Miranda got back to me.." Kai admitted

"That's odd. Sounds like you just asked me to kill you" Damon said

"You requested a truncated version, so I respectfully jumped to the end" Kai replied

"Why aren't we bringing her back?" Damon asked

"There are only two prison worlds. Mine, created in 1994. And the one created in 1903 for the sole purpose of locking up your mom.. and her closet full of crazy pants" Kai explained. Damon went to rush at Kai but Angelica slammed Damon against the wall. Of course, Damon had over 100 years on Angelica, so he easily threw her off. She landed on the ground, snapping her ankle

"Fuck!" She cried out as it began to heal. Kai used his magic to give Damon an aneurysm. Damon dropped to his knees

"You.. said we'd get her back" Damon groaned out

"I'm telling you, as a semi-sand person, you really don't want that" Kai said as he released Damon

"And I'm telling you, as a vampire who eats people, you really don't want to piss me off" Damon threatened

"I can kill you with the snap of my fingers! I'm saving your life" Kai replied

"How do I get her back?!" Damon yelled

"Your mom's a Ripper, okay? She's a Ripper" Kai said which made Damon stand there in shock. Kai walked over to Angelica and helped her up, her ankle fully healed. "She turned in 1858. Faked her death. Went to Europe, where she went a little nuts"

"No" Damon said in disbelief

"Bodies piled up. She moved. Killed some more until she had to move again. They think 3000 in total" Kai explained

"That's enough" Damon said utterly heartbroken

"My Coven made it their duty to stop her. They cut her off at the harbor before she could tear through Manhattan. Granted, once they got to the ship everybody was dead. Was so gruesome they burned it there" Kai said

"I said that's enough!" Damon yelled out clearly upset

"You can show yourself out" Kai told Damon
