"Don't be like that. When I get angry I kill people.. see and I think I will kill that little twat that you think you're meant to be with. I'll leave him alone if you come with me.. I'll make sure he gets everything he wants, but only if you are by my side" Kol said. Angelica began thinking about it. She wanted Kai to get everything he wanted. If that meant giving up her freedom, she'd happily do it, but she also knew that Kai would be upset if she did that. She didn't want to upset Kai, because then he would hate her. Angelica couldn't live with herself if Kai hated her

"Hey dickwad, I can feel your magic from a mile away. I don't appreciate you swooping into my woman's dreams. I'm the only man she should be dreaming about. Also find better witches because they are not subtle.. bye bye" Kai said before Kol vanished

Angelica's body sat straight up as her eyes opened. She turned to see Kai staring at her. She then put her head in her hands

"Why won't he leave me alone?" Angelica asked

"Because he's a sick and twisted dick.. but I'm gonna protect you.. just like I fixed you.. as long as I'm around he's not gonna lay a hand on you.. you know that, right?" Kai asked as he removed her hands from her face. He then cupped her cheek as he stared in her eyes

"You're mine.. and I'm not gonna share you" He told her

"I'm always gonna be yours" She said to him

"Yes, you are" He said before kissing her softly

"Is my Angie home?! I'm coming in, if you're not wearing clothes.. keep it that way, kidding. Please wear clothes. I'll cry if you're not" Damon said as he entered the apartment

"You know we really need to invest in getting a lock because people just walk in.. and honestly I'm not feeling too safe" Kai told Angelica. Damon entered the bedroom

"Oh, God.. the little magic sucker is here" Damon said rolling his eyes. Kai gave him a sarcastic smile

"Oh, look.. the bloodsucker is here" Kai replied. Angelica raised an eyebrow

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked. Damon snickered at Kai. Kai slowly turned to Angelica

"I hate vampires.. I really do, but you? You're the exception.. you are so sexy when you're all fangs and shit.. the way you look with my blood on your lips.. oh my God.. you could suck me dry both ways" Kai said biting his lips. Damon was pretending to gag as Angelica laughed

"Ugh, you guys make me want to kill myself" Damon said

"Please, go ahead. No one is stopping you" Kai said. Damon's jaw dropped

"I'm gonna beat your little creepy ass!" Damon said

"If you beat him up, I will never talk to you again" Angelica said crossing her arms. Kai nodded as he crossed his arms

"Yeah, she'll never talk to you again" Kai sassed. Damon rolled his eyes

"Ugh.. anyway I came by to drop off your box" Damon said, pointing at a box he left on the coffee table in the living room

"Box?" Kai asked

"Oh! My box!" Angelica said with a smile as she practically jumped out of the bed and into the living room

"I haven't opened this in.. like a over a decade. We can go through it together! Kai, come here!" Angelica said

"Okay, I'm leaving because I'm sure by the end you two will be fucking like rabbits.. the place reeks by the way" Damon said

"Don't be mad I got game and you don't" Kai said with a smirk. Damon gave him a sarcastic smile before flipping Kai off. Kai returned the gesture. Damon left and Kai went into the living room where he saw Angelica opening the box. It was the same box that Kai had left on the Salvatore Boarding House porch back in the prison world

"Aww, we were so young" She said as Kai sat down next to her to look at the photos. She then spotted her old pager

"Look, I told you I still had it" She said. Kai smiled at her before he went through the photos. There was a photo of them at their engagement ceremony. They were 10. Another one was when they went to prom together when they were 17. There was another one of them kissing under a mistletoe. Another photo of them, getting high. He smiled recalling the memories. He couldn't wait to make more memories with them

"Oh, wait! Let's take a selfie!" Kai said as he pulled out his phone. He turned on the camera and held it out in front of them. Angelica smiled before she kissed his cheek as he took the photo. He looked at the photo and smiled

"I like this one.." He said

"I do too, but I think I like you even more" She said sending him a playful wink

"Well, I sure hope so.. if not, I think I'd cry" Kai said. Angelica dramatically gasped

"Kai Parker.. the Kai Parker crying?! Who would have ever thought?" Angelica teased

"Haha" Kai said sarcastically before smiling. Angelica's phone went off

"Oh, that was twins. I've got some business to take care of. I'll be back later" Kai said giving Angelica a kiss before he got up

"Magic. Yeah. Yeah. I recall. You stored it in this" Kai said as he pulled out the knife. He then stabbed Jo in the arm. She screamed in pain

"What the hell?" Luke asked as Kai took out the knife. Her magic wasn't there

"I'm trying to reunite Jo with her magic" Kai said as he stabbed her again

Angelica had strolled up to the cemetery. Angelica had gotten a text from Kai that said it was urgent. It also turned out that Caroline was canceling the party last minute due to something going on with her mom. Caroline said she'd reschedule it. When she got there, she saw Alaric holding a gun to Kai's head

"Let him go!" Angelica yelled. Damon turned and groaned

"Who invited you?! How did you ev- you sly bastard!" Damon said as he turned to Kai who had a smirk on his face

"I'm gonna kill him, sorry Angie" Alaric said. Angelica wanted to rush over and stop him but the Anti-Magic Border wouldn't let her. Caroline had informed her of it in one of their late night calls

"Please don't. I just got him back" Angelica begged with wide eyes

"I have to.. I hope you can forgive me one day" Alaric said

"Alaric, don't" A feminine voice said. Angelica turned to see a woman with black hair and blue eyes. She made eye contact with Angelica and her eyes went wide, only to then go back to looking at Alaric

"What?" He asked

"Let's not do this.. anymore" Damon said

"You're joking, right?" Alaric asked

"I can't watch her go through it again.. Ric" Damon said. Alaric clenched his jaw

"You are the fakest mother fucker I have ever met, because if she wasn't here. You'd have no problem with me putting a bullet in his head" Alaric spat out

"I'm sorry, Ric" Damon said

"Well, I'm sorry too" Alaric said as he cocked the gun

"No, you can't. If Kai dies, Liv and Luke have to do the merge. It's not fair to them" The woman said

"Jo, I can't lose you!" Alaric said. Angelica's eyes widened as she turned to the woman

"Josette?" She asked. Jo gave her a sad smile

"Hi.." She said

"Jo.. I'm sorry" Alaric said as his finger was moving towards the trigger. Angelica felt her anxiety spiking

"Ric, don't. I can win. I can beat Kai. I just need a little time to get stronger" Jo claimed

"I don't have a little time. I have an angry Original on my ass.. so" Kai said

"What?" Alaric asked

"Kol's back" Damon explained

"What?! No one was gonna tell me!" Alaric yelled

"Well, it slipped my mind" Damon said

"Look, I'll figure out a way to win. Please. You have to trust me. Keep him alive" Jo said. Angelica could see that Alaric was debating it

"Alaric, please.." Angelica begged. Alaric frowned before removing the barrel from Kai's head, but then smacked him over the head with the gun

"Kai!" Angelica yelled out as Kai fell to the ground unconscious. Angelica looked at Alaric angrily and was going to go attack him, regardless of the fact he was on the other side of the Anti Magic Border, but her neck was snapped before she could

"Some things.. never change" Damon said

"I can't believe they're together again.." Jo said stressed

"What's so bad about it?" Alaric asked

"They truly bring out the worst in each other" Jo said

"What do you mean?" Damon asked

"Kai's erratic behaviors and psychotic tendencies were spurred on by Angelica because of her need to prove that Kai needs her" Jo explained

"So, they're both crazy.. we got that" Damon said as Alaric began chaining up the unconscious Kai to a tree

"It's different.. They were both good kids at one point in their lives.. Something happened when they were 12 and it slowly started spiraling into something bad.. really bad.. I noticed some things.. but the really bad shit started when they were 15.. I mean, it was bad.. and the reality of it.. it was no one's fault. My father was so quick to blame Kai.. but it wasn't that simple.." Jo said as tears started to form in her eyes

"Why do you look like you're gonna cry?" Damon asked now uncomfortable

"Because I feel guilty! If I had done more, if I had been a better sister.. maybe things wouldn't have gone the way they did" Jo said with a broken voice. Alaric rushed to her side to hold her. He led her away just as Kai began to wake up. Angelica was still out

"I'm awake.. where's my Angel?" Kai asked. Damon picked up a rock and threw it at the tree

"She's resting" Damon said as he looked over to her dead body

"You killed her.. again?" Kai asked

"It was for her own good" Damon said

"You always say that, you know?" Kai asked

"It's because it's true" Damon replied

"So, this while anti-magic thing, is it like a dome or a bubble?" Kai asked as Damon threw another rock. "Say you were in a 747 flying over Mystic Falls.. would you die? That could be dangerous. Like, if you're headed to New York and your pilot rerouted for weather.."

"How's this? I kill you. And when you're in hell.. you can ask a bar full of dead travelers who cast the damn spell" Damon said

"Angel won't be happy if you kill me, and that's a lot of travelers. Must be a pretty big spell" Kai said before he had come to a realization

"Like a really big spell. So big. Covers every inch of an entire town" Kai said as he rested his pals onto the ground, feeling the magic. Damon threw another rock at the tree. Alaric came back with a car and got out

"What the hell are you doing?" Alaric asked

"I'm working on my knuckle ball" Damon said

"We are keeping him alive, Damon" Alaric said. Angelica's eyes snapped open

"I'm glad to hear that. I really didn't want to kill you Ric. I consider us sort of friends" Angelica said as she stood up

"You would've killed him for me? That is so hot" Kai said

"Oh, God" Damon cringed Kai continued to siphon the spell made by the Travelers, until it was all gone. Suddenly it got really windy

"He stopped talking. He never stops talking" Damon pointed out

"Kai, are you okay?" Angelica asked. Kai suddenly started chanting as his chains melted away

"What happened to his chain?" Damon asked

"Is he chanting?" Alaric asked. Angelica smiled

"He siphoned the Anti Magic border" Angelica muttered

"What?!" Damon yelled. Kai stood up and approached the group

"Come on, Angel" Kai said as he held out his hand with a smirk. Angelica ran over to him and grabbed his hand. Kai smiled at her before he used his other hand to lift up Alaric and then send him flying into a tree

"I've got a lot of magic" Kai said before he vanished with Angelica

Angelica and Kai were at her house. Kai was bummed about the no free food due to the party being canceled

"I got you a gift" Angelica said as she held a wrapped box. Kai took it and opened it up to see a chained necklace. Kai picked it up and held it in his hand. He smiled

"You and your necklaces.." Kai said

"You look good wearing them" Angelica said. Kai winked at her before putting the necklace back in the box

"I know. I also got you something" He said before leaving the room. He came out with a wrapped box and handed it to her. Angelica opened the box before a frown appeared on her face. Her eyes went wide as she dropped it and rushed behind Kai

"What the hell?" Kai asked offended. Snakes slithered out of the box. Angelica shoved him away before she glared at him. Kai was confused on how snakes ended up in his present

"You dick!" Angelica yelled

"What?!" Kai yelled

"You know I'm afraid of snakes! Do you think this is funny?!" Angelica yelled

"I didn't do that! I didn't do that!" Kai stated. Angelica scoffed

"I literally can't.. you dick.." She breathed out before walking off and out of the house. Kai felt a wave of anger hit him. He slammed his fist against the wall, leaving a hole

"Trouble in paradise?" A voice asked. Kai rolled his eyes as he exhaled loudly. He turned to see Kai

"Good job, fuckwad.. You enjoying this?" Kai asked

"I really thought she'd like the present. I thought it was better than ugly little plushie you were gonna give her" Kol said

"It's from her favorite anime, you dick" Kai said

"She didn't like it very much" Kol said which made Kai roll his eyes

"Is this your best attempt at trying to break us up? Because to be honest, it's a little lame. I mean, people have been trying to break us up for years.. you're gonna have to do a little better than that" Kai said

"Oh, this is just the beginning. By the time I get to Mystic Falls.. your relationship will be gone" Kol said

"You sure are cocky about this.. don't get mad when it doesn't work out, Kurt" Kai said with smile
