"Fate is something one usually believes in when things are not going well, but as soon as things improve or get better, you forget it..."

Seonghwa POV:
After going through multiple stages of sadness, anger, and appreciation, the three males decided to leave me for the night to truly absorb the reality of my newfound place. The entirety of it all was overwhelming to say the least, but I found myself feeling extremely grateful for the fact that I had people who truly cared for me without judgement.
Making my way around the apartment to take it all in, I found myself in awe of the detail they made sure to pay attention to. Everything about the place was my style, and I could only grow more appreciative of the fact that they had this set up for me. A smile grew on my face as a newfound sense of determination swelled inside me, choosing to quickly unpack the rest of my belongings and take a well deserved shower. There wasn't much let to unpack, but the mere act of finalizing everything made accepting the gift a little easier.
With the small boxes left in the corner of my now bedroom, I began opening each one with ease, finding all of my beloved possessions such as my Lego sets in the first box in an instant. San and I shared a common interest in building things together, so I knew he would've been the one to carefully pack these for me.
I continued to go through each box, finding my clothes, shoes, and other miscellaneous items within the contents. Overall, the entire process didn't take long, as I knew there wasn't much stuff to begin with. My lifestyle was the definition of living light, as I couldn't afford much and couldn't take for granted having anything permanent in my life. Therefore, I was able to find places for all of my stuff without any difficulty.
Well, not anymore...
Choosing a pair of sleeping clothes out my dresser, I strolled over to the bathroom and was faced with a room that completely had me stunned. There was a separate shower and bathtub, a two-sink counter with vanity mirror, and a closed off toilet in the corner. Everything was black and white marble flooring with accompanying grey decor. The space itself was bigger than my previous bedroom.
"Is this seriously all mine...?" I whispered, glancing at my reflection in the mirror. Part of me wanted to believe that it was only temporary, a once-in-a-lifetime moment whereas soon as I close my eyes, I'd be back in my old apartment. However, another part of me wanted to learn to accept the truth of the matter, that for once in my life, something good was happening to me.
Not wanting to waste another second, I stripped off my clothes and began to shower off the day, mentally telling myself to clean my slate and embrace my new life. This was a gift, and I intended to show my appreciation to the best of my ability.

The sunlight cascading inside the room made my eyes flutter open as the rays shined on my face. Slowly waking up a full night's rest, I felt the softness of silk underneath my fingertips as I sat up in bed. Glancing around the room, a grin grew on my face as warmth bloomed in my chest. "It really wasn't a dream..."
Getting up to head to the bathroom, I breezed through my usual hygiene before making my way out into the living area. With the day off given by Mrs. Kim, I decided to take the day and finally relax for once. All I knew was work and stress, and one of the biggest stresses I had in my life was finding money to pay rent. Since that one major factor is no longer a concern, I could take a break and enjoy time for myself.
Strolling over to the kitchen, I first opened the fridge to see it completely full of options that could be used to make actual dishes. However, due to my body being adjusted to rationed meals, the sight of it all brought a wave of sudden nausea as the idea of eating more than the average portion of instant noodles seemed too overwhelming. With a soft sigh of appreciation nonetheless, I closed the door and searched through the cabinets for anything that could settle my stomach, quickly noticing my favorite brand of noodles in one of them.
"San can scold me later, I want this for breakfast."
Finding a pot and filling it with water, I turned on the stove to boil while opening the pack to prepare for cooking. A smile grew on my face as I stared at the bubbling water, my mind still reeling over the course of events. Although, the sight of the water brought me back to last night, me running in the rain after a shitty encounter. Deep in thought, I remembered bumping into that mysteriously good-looking male in the process. There were two things that stood out to me about the male: his bright white smile and striking blue hair, two contrasting colors in midst of a dark storm.
Who was he..? And why did it seem like he was heading to the coffee shop..?
The sound of water attempting to boil over quickly caught my attention, a clear sign for me to turn down the flame and place the noodles inside to cook. Part of me was curious as to who he was, but another part of me brushed off the thought. With a sad laugh, I shook my head. "Get it together, Hwa. With my luck, I'll never even see him again, so why bother thinking of him..."
Finishing up cooking, I poured the noodles into a bowl and carried it to the dining table to eat. The smell of spices made me excited to indulge without hesitation, but not without giving thanks for another chance to eat. It was a habit I learned after having times without anything to satisfy my hunger, so I grew to never take for granted the small mercies placed on me. With the close of my eyes and clasp of hands, I silently graced the bowl before finally enjoying my first meal in my new home.
With my stomach satisfied, I made my way over to the couch to rest. Having a day off felt awkwardly good, something I wasn't use to having due to always needed to make money to survive. My body was constantly on go, bouncing from job to job just to earn a paycheck to scarcely get me through the month. Now that I have time to relax, I could feel the built-up fatigue finally catching up to me. Despite how hard I tried to fight it, the weight of exhaustion was taking its toll, my eyes slowly fluttering closed for determination sleep.
Not bothering to combat the urge, I allowed myself to succumb to the much needed slumber once again.
Thank you guys for this...I truly appreciate it...
