Lukas was born creative, always having to do things a different way. As an adult, he's still just as sporadic, if not even more so. Every bit an artist, he's always looking to start a new project or capture a different view, and delights in getting to ramble about his latest works. While he prides in his own creations, he seems to have even more pride over his students. Working as an art professor, Lukas strives to inspire and guide new artists as they develop their skills, making sure to keep them working but helping out whenever they get stuck. His care for his classes is immediately apparent to anyone simply striking up small talk, as he will take any opportunity to talk about the latest thing he has them working on. Outside of work, Lukas is more quiet but still enjoys going out with colleagues and friends, but prefers atmospheres like cafes and museums. Loud and boisterous places can overwhelm him, so trips to a bar are very rare and typically only when he's begged to go.

Lukas has had a few serious relationships before, and is on good terms with most of his exes. Most relationships ended because they were on too different paths, or the spark just faded over time.

When he isnt teaching his regular classes, he likes doing smaller summer classes for kids summer activities. He does prefer his more mature and aged students, but he adores the kids he meets as well, and always keeps any paintings or drawings they give him.

Has two cats: an orange tabby named Ginger and a Siamese named Nutmeg. He would love a dog as well, but he doesn't have enough room in his studio apartment for another animal.

He wears glasses, but he finds he does his best work when he keeps them off. He has them on when he isn't painting or drawing, but going too long without them can give him a headache.

Has countless sketchbooks and canvases filled to the brim with half-finished sketches and paintings. Due to his sporadic nature, Lukas starts and abandons projects rather quickly, inspiration pulling him one way then the next. He tends to be more focused on his commissioned works.

Lukas's preferred mediums are oil paints, graphite pencils, and charcoal. He's often seen with smudges on his hands or face from the dust residue. He's pretty used to the mess that can come from different mediums, but hates dealing with water colors and oil pastels the most.

Though he lives in the U.S. now, Lukas was born and raised in France, and is thus fluent in French. He doesn't have much of an accent anymore after speaking English for so long, but it comes out in certain "r" sounds or when he's extremely tired.

Lukas and his twin sister were born to a healthy and standard home in Montpelier, France. From a young age, Lukas had a special interest in art, even if all he made were nonsensical smears of paint on paper from his fingers. When he grew up, he went to college for a degree in fine arts, and mostly did commission work. He enjoyed it, but felt there was something more he could be doing with his talent. He went back to school for a degree in education, and taught elementary classes first. He adored the drawings they made and the kids loved him, but he felt as if he wasn't teaching so much as he was watching kids smear paint on paper. After a year, he switched to teaching high school. He was met with more skill there, but attentive students were few and far between. Most were only there for the required credit, and their minimal effort showed clearly in their work. There was the occasional student that seemed genuinely interested in art, paying attention and following along with his feedback. He found that what he loved most was cultivating that creativity and encouraging them to develop their techniques so they could be more confident in their work. He stayed there for longer, building up enough experience to eventually land himself as a college professor.
