Y/n Te Tskaha Mo'at'ite is the daughter of Mo'at and Eytukan, and youngest sister of Sylwanin and Neytiri. Ever since being born without the ability to speak, her entire family has been incredibly protective of their youngest heir.

With her family believing that her voice would return and Eywa would gift it back to her when she's older and that the absence of her voice was an act from the deity herself, she was set to be the next Tsahik. The first mute Tsahik of the Omaticaya with the most connection to Eywa in the clan. She is also set to be betrothed and mated with Tsu'tey, the next Olo'eyktan, her closest friend.

Even if you and Tsu'tey weren't attracted to one another, given Tsu'tey's love for Sylwanin, the future Olo'eyktan happens to be very protective of y/n. You're his best friend after all, and cares deeply for you, doing anything to keep you safe.

When y/n was born, her cries as a baby were silent. Mo'at cried over the well-being over her newborn daughter, while Neytiri and Sylwanin worried about their little sister not letting out a single sound as she tried to cry, but there was only silence.

Even if she was incapable of speaking, y/n had a very kind heart and melted the ones of others. Being sheltered by her family for so long because of how protective they are of her, y/n was very curious in nature and clever.

Constantly wanting to know the truth about the world. But, it was a shame that you immediately regretted wanting to know more about the outside world when your sister was murdered by the Sky People, keeping away from any sort of trails of humans in sight.

When Y/n was in Grace's school, while she was taught English vocabulary if she ever happened to get her voice back, Grace arranged a special way to communicate in particular classes so you wouldn't feel alone and like an outcast to your own people. She also had all students, Na'vi's who you've grown up with, learn it as well.

Grace helped you reinforce and practice it, had separate classes with you, and you ended up growing a strong bond with the scientist. It's a way of communicating that you used with your family and everyone that you grew up with and that was dear to you, especially a marine who had yet to come into your life.

Since she's been voiceless most of her life, her thoughts have come out as a call of silence, left unexpressed. Never spoke a word, yet, you had so much to say.

When Jake Sully, a discharged Marine because of his immobility in his legs after a military deployment, travels to Pandora to take over his brothers contract, the last thing he expects is to meet you.

A Na'vi who could not communicate with him even if she wanted to. Somehow along the way, Jake fell in love, forgot his mission, and put everything on the line for you.
