Self-Love Club or Broken Hearts Club?
We all deal with broken hearts differently. We think someone is one way and turns out they are the complete opposite. Then we start to question everything. Were they real? Or were we just imagining what we wanted to think they were like? After every breakup it's important to give yourself self-love. Whether it's going to a spa, working, doing crafts or working out. Whatever it might be. It's important to remember to take time for yourself. Broken hearts are unavoidable and we have to deal with pain.

Alison remembered the night they had. His hands all over her. They had crossed new boundaries in their sex life as they did role-playing during their sex. Alison warned him though that she would never do a threesome or hardcore BDSM like in Fifty Shades of Grey. But she had to admit that she liked the role-play. After they declared their love for one another, it was steamy from then on, not getting much sleep the night before.
"Earth to Alison," Callie said as she snapped her fingers in front of the fellow's face making her snap out of it. "You there?"
"Sorry," Alison replied with a sheepish smile. "I was distracted."
"Apparently. You okay? You had your thinking face on."
"More than okay," Alison said as she let out a sigh. "What's up?"
"George cheated on me. With Izzie Stevens."
"Mark told me he loves me."
"George slept with Izzie?" Alison asked Callie.
"Mark said he loves you?" She asks equally shocked.
"What are you going to do about George?"
"Forgive him. What else can I do? What did you tell Mark?"
"I told him I loved him back," she says with a small smile. "You could always divorce George."
"We said in our vows until death do us part. I take those vows seriously."
"Well, just know that whatever you decide, Mark and I support you."
"Thanks," Callie smiled softly at her friend.

"Hey," Mark greeted Alison softly and rubbed her tense shoulders as they stood at the nurses desk. "You okay?" He asked pressing a kiss to her head as he peered over her shoulder to see what she was frowning at.
It was a newspaper and his eyes widened at the headline title.
ANTHONY DAVIS, FAMOUS LAWYER, SUED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT FUNDS FROM CLIENTS
"Holy shit," Mark exclaimed. "Is this true?"
"I don't know," she shrugged her shoulders and turned around to face him as his arms caged her in. "But for the sake of his kid - I hope not."
"If it is... will you have to testify?"
"Probably," she said meeting his eyes. "Not sure though."
"Well, whatever happens, I'm here for you alright? You and me."
"You and me," she said smiling a little brighter now as she scrunched her nose. "I love you."
"I love you too," he told her honestly as he bent down and kissed her as she pressed the palms of hands to his chest and released him.
Alison knew that a lot of the victim's families who either lost families that day with the ferry boat accident or if they had major surgeries had reached out to Anthony. She also knew that he was a lawyer for all of the families in the business that caught on fire before they dated. Most if not all of the victims winning millions of dollars. She wondered if the clients got the money if not all.

"Doctor Sloan," Meredith greeted the plastics surgeon. "Doctor Norman Shales."
"Oh, Doctor Shales, call me Mark," he shook the interns hand.
"Thank you," Norman said.
"I thought you were on my service," Mark said leaning in towards the blonde.
"I am. He's my intern," she said and Mark looked at her with a straight face.
"Right?" Norman said. "It's like seriously you're an intern?" He said in reference to himself. "But it's seriously true. Seriously."
"Glad to have you aboard," Mark said as he handed Norman some charts of his patients before he gave Meredith a look and left.
"So is he the one you call McDreamy or McSleazy or - wait."
"Norman, we have labs to deliver," Meredith told the older intern as they began walking.
"Yeah."
"Labs and discharges."
"This one is being discharged to a hospice?" He asked the blonde.
"When there's nothing else we can do."
"So we have to tell someone they're dying?"
"Don't worry," Meredith told him. "I'll teach you the protocol."
"McSteamy," Norman said with excitement as he remembered who Mark was. "He's the one you girls call McSteamy and he's dating the peds surgeon - Doctor Alison Anderson," he said laughing with excitement.

"You know what this stuff is, right?" Alison asked her six year old patient whose name was Stephanie.
"No, what?" She asked already a little sleepy and Alison could swear she felt her heart tear a little at the sight.
"It's enchanted fairy dust," Alison said with wonder. "It's going to make you feel all better that way you will get to go home soon. I'll be back in to check on you later, okay?"
"Okay," Stephanie said with a small smile as she cuddled with her unicorn pillow pet her mom had gotten her from Universal Studios in the Minions store.
"You're good with them, you know," Lexie said to Alison as she watched from the doorway when Alison made her way out.
"Thanks," she gave her a soft smile. "It's pretty hard not to when I have a patient like her."
"What's wrong with her?" Lexie asked curiously.
"Stage two Leukemia," Alison said sadly. "I try to make it as fun for them as possible because I know that the chemo is draining."
Lexie was about to say something but then Alison's pager started beeping and she went down to the ER.
"Talk to me. What's going on?" Alison asked whoever would answer her.
"Alison," Adele said a little more happy.
"Adele," Alison said shocked to see her again. "Camille?"
"Anderson, what are you doing here?" Richard asked.
"Well, I am in peds, sir and I was paged here. If it's alright with you I'd like to stay too."
"Of course it's alright," Adele said as she hugged the doctor. "Camille knows you and loves you. She trusts you. Isn't it alright, Richard?"
"Yeah, of course."
They are now in the OR as Richard and Alison are doing an endoscopy on Camille.
"The one thing that this child did not need is another surgery," Richard told the residents.
"She wasn't breathing, chief," Alex told Richard.
"We didn't know what else to do," Izzie added.
"You did the right thing," Richard said. "But Camille was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she was fourteen. She's had both ovaries removed. A hysterectomy."
"Damnit," Alison said as she looked at the screen. "There's the mass."
"No wonder she couldn't breathe," Izzie said.
"I can take it out," Richard said. "But we won't know how many more there are until we do further studies."
"I'm so sorry chief," Alison and Izzie sympathized with him.
"She beat it twice before. She'll beat it again."
*
"Hi Adele, what can I do for you?" Alison asked the chief's wife.
"Alison, you know I love and respect you. You are such a hard worker and care about your patients."
"Thank you Adele," she said with a soft smile.
"I was wondering if you could possibly talk to Camille? Richard-" she let out a sigh. "Well, he's letting out niece go home where she will die. She doesn't want anymore chemo treatments. She's not old enough to make those kinds of decisions."
"You know how much I love Camille and your family, Adele," Alison told the older woman getting choked up. "But-"
"But you won't talk her into getting the treatments?" Adele asked shocked and hurt.
"I'm so sorry, Adele," Alison said hurt as well. "She's eighteen, though, and that is the legal age where she can make those decisions. She's been a trooper and has fought so hard for so long. But if this is what Camille wants then she should at least be at home in her own bed, surrounded by her loved ones."
Ever since Alison had met Camille two years ago, the two of them grew close. It saddened her that the cancer had grown back and this time it will be the thing that kills her.
"Hey," Mark greeted her, upset about what happened earlier.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked as she put a hand on his back in comfort.
"Just pissed at Grey and Shales for telling the wrong patient they were going to be discharged because they were going to die."
"Shales?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows as he looked at her. "Oh you mean Norman the really old intern?"
"Yes," Mark whined. "Now if they do find the patient again we have to make it up to her. What's wrong with you?" He asked noticing she was down.
"I'm sure you'll figure something out," Alison said with a small smile. "Richard Webber's niece, Camille Travis, came in today and doesn't want to fight the cancer anymore."
"I'm sorry," he sympathized with her as he brought her in for a hug and she buried her head in his warm chest. "I know how fond you were of her."
"Well, I know something that might cheer you up," Mark said after he pressed multiple kisses to her head and she made a small noise. "I heard that Callie is going to fight Izzie at lunch today."
"Fight?" She asked as she looked up. "Who did you hear this from?"
"Annie, one of the scrub nurses," he shrugged his shoulders. "Why?"
"Because I don't think it's really true and I need to warn Callie about it before lunch. Love you," she kissed his lips briefly before running away.
"Love you too," he called back to her and shook his head in amusement.
*
"Alison where are you running off to?" Miranda yelled to the blonde peds surgeon.
"Have to find Callie," Alison stopped for a second. "Do you know where she is?"
"On her way to the cafeteria," Miranda said confused.
"Oh shit, oh no. Thanks Bailey," Alison yelled and began running again.
Unfortunately Alison didn't make it on time. She saw that Izzie still had her hands up slightly and her blonde hair was up in a pony tail and everyone was circled around like this was a high school fight. Alison couldn't see Callie but she was sure that she looked hurt and she was right when Callie turned around.
"Forfeit, Torres forfeited," an intern shouted after Callie left.
"Shut up," Alison strictly told them. "You don't know anything. Get back to lunch and forget this whole thing happened," Alison said as she then glanced at Izzie and made eye contact with her as she scoffed and shook her head and left as George was coming in too late.
*
It took a few minutes for Alison to find Callie when she went into the bathroom and put both hands on either side of the sink, leaning on it. Just when she was about to give up she heard sniffling coming from one of the stalls so Alison began to talk.
"You know, I dated this guy Anthony Davis. Addison actually hooked us up. Famous lawyer and he was known for winning cases for what is considered the little people. People who don't have a lot of money. He has a cute kid named Bentley. That's actually how Mark and I met was at an aquarium. Anyway, apparently he did a lot of illegal things. Like stealing clients money."
"I don't know much about lawyers but they're not supposed to do that, right?" Callie asked as she furrowed her eyebrows and came out of the stall.
"No," Alison shook her head. "It's really bad. It could also mean that if it gets uglier I could get called into court to testify."
"Testify?" Callie asked as her eyes widened. "Did you know about any of it?"
"None," Alison shook her head. "We only dated for six months but he never once gave me any of his money. I always wondered though how he was so rich. He practically flaunted that he had the newest Tesla and his house was like a mansion even though it was just him and his son."
"Oof," Callie said as she dried her tears and washed away the mascara tears that were stained on her cheeks. "Sorry."
"Don't apologize. I'm just glad that I ended things with him when I had the chance. Besides it's not about me. I feel bad for the victims and his son. I mean where the hell is his son going to live if he has to go to jail?"

Mark walked into the attending lounge as Derek was on the computer.
"Hey, what do you think is a better weekend getaway?" Derek asked his friend. "Napa or Sonoma?"
"I hope you don't mind if I kill your girlfriend," Mark said as he poured himself some coffee making Derek look up.
"Well, first of all she's not my girlfriend. Secondly, I do mind."
"Interns shouldn't be allowed to talk to patients," Mark said as he took a sip of the hot coffee.
"Well that's how they learn."
"Which means I have to teach and I have to deal with their problems when they screw up."
"Meredith rarely screws up and she's not an intern. So Napa or Sonoma? What do you think?"
"Sonoma," Mark said gloomily when he realized his friend wasn't taking his side. "I took Alison to Canada once."
"Really?" Derek asked surprised as he looked up. "When was this?"
"When I first came into town and both of us said we were going away."
"I thought she was going to her families home then?" Derek said and realization hit him. "You sneaky little bastards."
"Sonoma is a smaller town and fewer tourists. And Meredith - she's still an intern. Don't kid yourself, she's a baby. The only difference between her and that old guy is you're not sleeping with the old guy."
"What about Alison?" Derek tried to defend his actions. "She was a resident not too long ago too."
"The difference between Alison and Meredith is that there's no comparison. Alison knew what she wanted long before I even came into the picture. Another thing - don't try to use Alison against me when I'm trying to help you. Look whether you realize it or not, I'm trying to help you. I would hate to see you get hurt again over something that you can control."
*
"So, I got Alex to cover for me," Meredith told Derek as she caught up to him. "I can leave right after my round of my patients for the forty-eight uninterrupted hours."
"Yeah, um, you know maybe this isn't the weekend," Derek said as Mark's words hit him.
"What did Lexie say about me?"
"She didn't say anything. I did all the talking. Don't blame her."
"So what you're friends with my sister now? I mean you talked to the other Grey about me."
"You know what I talked about with the other Grey? All the things this Grey won't let me say."
"You can say anything to me," Meredith told him.
"I want to marry you. I want to have kids with you. I want to build this house and I want to settle down. Grow old with you. I want to die when I'm one-hundred and ten years old in your arms. I don't want forty-eight uninterrupted hours. I want a lifetime. Do you see what happens? I say things like that and you fight the urge to run the opposite direction. It's okay," Derek told her. "I understand. I didn't but now I do. You're just getting started and I've been doing this for a long time. Deep down you're still an intern," he said using Mark's words at the end. "And you're not ready."
"I'm not ready right now," Meredith tried to keep the guy she had fallen in love with. "But things could stay the way they are and I can get ready. I'll get ready."
"Things can't stay the way they are," Derek told her. "We can still meet in the elevator. The on-call room and maybe you'll be ready. And I'll wait. I'll wait until you're ready."
"Okay then," Meredith said.
"Yeah, but what if while I'm waiting I meet someone new whose ready to give me what I want from you?"
"What if you do?"
"I don't know," Derek said and walked into the elevator.
*
"What are you doing out here? You're going to catch a cold," Mark yelled through the pouring rain.
"Make out with me," she said and he didn't have to be told twice as he grabbed her the back of her head as she stood on her tip toes and they smashed their lips together, both of them smiling into the kiss.
Alison stared at the unopened letter from Burke that she held in her hands as she was now at her apartment. A letter that was his final goodbye. She wondered if Cristina got one. Or Derek.
Dear Alison or as I would call you Wendy Darling,
I'm sorry for my abrupt leaving. I hope one day that you understand I couldn't stay there anymore. Not after ending things with Cristina. You were always really important to me and will continue to be important to me.
The way you interacted with the kids was one that I will never forget. They always say that there are some memories that we just can't let go and that was one of them for me. The way you helped make those kids believe in fairy dust and magic. It was a pleasure to see.
Maybe some day I'll be able to talk to you and Shepherd again without the pain in my chest but right now it's too prominent.
Does it ever go away?
Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn't. Who knows. But I want to thank you for your friendship for the last five years. I know you will go far in Peds.
Your friend,
Preston Burke
"What's that?" Mark asked as he gestured to the letter his girlfriend was holding in her hands.
"Just a letter from an old friend," she said with a small smile.
What do you do when the person who you thought would never hurt you, ends up hurting you? When your heart is broken into a million pieces. The only thing you can do is focus on yourself for a while.

What episodes do you want me to write? Because I know I'm not going to write all of season 4 since I want to get to season 5.
Please let me know in the comments!
Also what do you think of these ship names for Mark and Alison? This is all I came up with so far: Mali, Marson, Mars, Malison. If there is any other ones let me know :). Which one is your favorite?
