What's a palace without it's many helping hands? There are many positions that fill up the ranks of the Royal Staff, but the three most important jobs are the Waitstaff, the Knights, and the Scouts.

The Waitstaff has a majority of Merrill involved, and they do virtually anything that the Royal Family asks for. They are in charge of keeping every inch of the palace sparkling clean, and their work can range from bringing the princes their breakfast to trimming the coral gardens to even helping the princes and princesses with their studies. The Knights are known from ocean to ocean as the toughest, strongest, and smartest Merfolk who keep the oceans safe. They are often found in full armor, patrolling around the city of Atlantis or simply standing guard at the palace gates. The Knights are some of the most honored and respected Merfolk in the land. The Scouts are an extremely small division of Merfolk who have been trained as Knights, and have been specially selected by the King and Queen themselves. These Merfolk are quick, calm, silent, and daring, and often have dark colored tails to keep them hidden. They are the Kingdom's first defense, and they patrol just below the surface to make sure that there isn't any dangerous activity from the Humans, and give daily reports back to the King. (1/5)
