𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝘀𝗸
the selected have started to arrive. yet without a moment of rest, they are whisked away by a man under the name of 𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀 who says a party awaits. all the selected are brought to a lantern-lit clearing. tables of tea and blood have been laid out. cards have been set with each of the selected's name in perfect calligraphy. the moon, at it's peak, illuminates over them with a soft glow. the perfect midnight tea party.

yet, as the selected look at each table-clothed table, they see there are two extra names. there were supposed to be sixteen names, yet here, there were eighteen. they were entitled "𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗶 𝗵. 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗮-𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶" and "𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗮. 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗮-𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶." they were from the kingdom. as the crowd of vampires and werewolves looked amongst themselves, they found the two, vampire and werewolf, among the crowd. before they could question it, however, the man behind such an event stood from his seat.

" my esteemed guests, welcome. i apologize for such a sudden event, but i have brought you here not for a challenge, but for a small get-together. as you have seen, on each table, there are seats for five with the exception of one six. please find your place. you are welcome to take this time to meet people from differing cultures. as there will be no show of either prince or princess, tonight, there is no competition, only friends. help yourself to some of the food provided. only the highest quality. "

with that, the man bowed shortly with a wide smile, allowing the selected to find their places.  the two new names were left on the back burner to instead find spots. so a night of tense chatter, sipping beverages, and connections begin.

welcome! like pierre said, this is a beginning event for those that have put in forms and checked-in already while everyone else starts to do so. this is technically optional, but would be much more helpful towards you if you participated.

and surprise! the admins have two selected from the kingdom. do not worry, we will not be able to win. their existence is merely to stir the pot of drama as well as drive plot. so, though they won't win, we highly highly recommend interacting with them in a separate chain.

in the comments, we will have a tea chain, table chains where you can communicate with those at your table, then you will be able to make separate chains with anyone.

also as pierre has said, none of the royals besides him will show, so this is just about making friends or maybe even enemies. have fun!
