×4th day×

[edited]

Tae was woken up by the sun shining brightly outside his window.

He stretched his limbs lazily.

The melodious chirping of the birds attracted his so he found his way to the balcony, running his hand through his bed hair.

He smiled at the sight of birds playing with each other on lush green trees and stretched his arms above his tilted head, the chirping soothing his ears and mind.

He paused for a moment after he saw Eunbin in the balcony of her house, watering the small plants.

Taking notice of Taehyung, she smiled, and waved at him, balancing the jug in one hand.

Tae was actually surprised at first, expecting her cold, unfriendly avatar to greet him with a little contact of her eyes. But then, he smiled back and waved at her.

Both, then retiring back into their houses, did their morning routine, getting ready for the day.

Tae had his breakfast while remembering that Eunbin had gotten some days off from school, regarding something.

Tae had had this desire since he'd shifted to Seoul, that whenever he visited Daegu, he would visit his favourite amusement park, he used to visit in his childhood.

But Sooyan being busy with his family matters, unfortunately couldn't come.

Taehyung left the house, crossing the road to reach the other side.

He knocked on the door, knuckles hitting the surface softly, and was soon met by a smiley Eunbin.

"Hey Taehyung!" She said.

"I see you are opening up to me." He chuckled.

Eunbin could not help but blush, which didn't go unnoticed by him, but not wanting to make her uncomfortable, he decided not to bring it up.

"So...I was wondering, that—actually there is this amusement park I really wanted to go to, and my friend here, couldn't accompany me there because of some reason, so...would do you come with me ?" He asked.

Eunbin thought for moment.
Tae seemed like a good guy.
The thought of having a friend was actually good for the first time to her.
And because of the fact that she liked him, she said,
"Umm, yeah, sure, I can come with you. What time ?"

Tae's eyes widened and his smile widened.

"Uh, is 5 ok with you, in the evening ?" He asked.

"5 is good." Eunbin smiled.

A moment went by, with them gazing at each other in silence, birds chirping in the background.

Tae glanced at the wall clock behind the girl and stated that he would come at 5 to pick her up, smiling at her before he left.

Eunbin closed the door behind her.
She had never felt this way.

And Tae was the only person who took out time to know her better, and...to be her friend.

Thinking about him, her heart fluttered.

And she felt warm there.

It was already 5 in the evening, at Eunbin was ready.
She wore a navy blue A-line satin frock with small white polka dots and let her hair loose.

There was a knock on the door, and she immediatly knew who it was.

She opened the door with the greatest smile ever.

Tae, as soon as the door was opened, was left awestruck.

Eunbin looked beautiful.

Instead of her usual jeans and shirt, she decided to wear a dress.

Eunbin chuckled nervously at his reaction.

Tae then cleared his throat and spoke,
"Uhem, you are looking pretty, Eunbin-ah."

Eunbin blushed.

"Thank you." She said with a pretty smile.

"Ha ha, so...shall  we get going ?" Taehyung, to which she nodded.

They left her house locked, deciding to walk to the place.

Reaching the park, Tae bought the tickets, as they entered.

"So...ready for the roller coaster ?" Tae asked, expecting Eunbin to be afraid.

"Hell yeah!" she exclaimed.

And she ran towards the ride, unable to keep her excitement to herself.

After the ride, Tae and Eunbin were still laughing, still feeling a little dizzy even after 5 minutes.

Tae suggested,
"Should we go on the ferrous wheel?"

Eunbin nodded enthusiastically.

They got on the ride and the wheel started spinning in slow motion.

When they reached the top, the wheel came to a stop for a few minutes.

"You know, I've always wanted to come here with my childhood friend ever since I debuted. But...I am really grateful that you are here with me...I mean, I am really enjoying." Tae said smiling.

Eunbin thought for a while, then asked,
"Debuted? Where?"

Tae chuckled.
"So you really don't know me. I thought you didn't care. Actually...I am a member of a recently debuted boy called 'BTS' of kpop."

Eunbin's eyes widened.

"So you are an idol? But, what are doing here?" She asked.

"Uh, actually, being an idol, it looks all bright and shiny, but it is not the easiest job. I was under a lot of stress following the debut and after we debuted, like a year back, I ran away for a week, basically to relax." Tae explained.

Eunbin smiled, indicating she understands him.

They both say quietly, looking into each other's eyes, trying to decipher the visible emotions written in them.

Maintaining the eye contact, they were unaware to when they had started leaning in towards each other.

Both were sitting on opposite seats, but now their faces were inches away from each other, warm breaths fanning each other's faces, Downing into each other's eyes.

But before anything could happen, the ride started once again, snapping them out of it.

They looked away from each, smiling to themselves in the inside, blushing a heavy red, while a sense of awkwardness lingering in air.
After the ride, hand in hand, they went to see the fireworks.

After the fireworks, they went home together, hands intertwined.

Eunbin knew, and realised the fact, that he brought out an unexploded side of her. And she quite liked it to be honest.

After dropping Eunbin at her's and receiving a kiss on the cheek as a thank you from her, Tae layed down on his bed, thinking about the day's happenings and smiling to himself, imagining what Eunbin would be doing right now, and finally went to sleep after having dinner with his aunt and brother.
