Despite Atlas being on bedrest before he returned to work, he was sitting in the airport — totally disobeying Dr. Bailey's strict orderers.
A hoodie was pulled over his t-shirt, the baggy hoodie covered the thick bandages he still had to wear. His sweatpants were grey and just as baggy as his hoodie — he really didn't care what he looked like today.
Outside of the big glass windows, a plane landed and Atlas shifted in his seat. He wasn't sure if the fact that he was doing this was a good thing. In his lap was a book he had been reading for the past hour — yes, he had been here for an hour, what else was he supposed to do?
A tall male walked closer to Atlas, in his hand was the handle for his expensive looking suitcase. Atlas wasn't paying attention when the male sunk down beside him. "Hey." The masculine voice said, snapping Atlas out of his gaze.
Atlas jumped lightly and groaned, the ache in his chest returning. The male beside him sent him a confused look — not having been told Atlas had been shot.
"You ready to go?" Atlas questioned as he pushed himself out of the uncomfortable airport chair with some struggle.
"Yeah, let's go." The two made their way outside of the airport and towards Atlas's car. The outside was clean, washed and looked brand new. But the inside had medical articles scattered over, there were plastic water bottles at the bottom of the car, there were even a few medical textbooks all around the inside of the car.
"Why so messy?" The salt and peppered haired man raised a eyebrow.
"I'm a attending, my siblings are interns. We don't clean." Atlas laughed.
The car started and Atlas pulled out of his parking spot and drove down the road, the the highway, and then back into the city streets. The soft music was turned up to cancel out the awkward silence.
Atlas pulled up to the entrance of the hotel and put the car in park. "We're here." Atlas turned the music down and looked at the man beside him.
"Have a good day, Atlas." He said getting out of the car.
"Have a good day too, Marky." Atlas smiled at Mark.

Atlas was being treated as an intern, since he had been shot and hospitalized, he had yet to be cleared for surgery — hence why he was shadowing Bailey. He didn't mind that much, Bailey was his bestfriend and made it fun for him to shadow her.
Atlas was standing beside Bailey as they and the interns walked through the halls.
"Yang you're late." Alex says loudly in hopes he gets Christina into trouble.
"Hey I got here before George." Christina shot back in an attempt for Bailey to focus on George being late.
"I'm here! I was here!" George clarified.
"Nice of you to join us Yang." Bailey deadpanned.
Christina caught the smile on Alex's face, "Oh what are you smiling about? Arent you supposed to be on the Gynie Brigade?"
"Yeah, whatever." Alex muttered.
Christina notices Meredith's pained expression and the hand on her stomach. That's when Atlas slows down so be can be closer to them — all well pushing his brother ahead, Eliza staying behind.
"Woman troubles?"
"Men troubles." Meredith corrects. "I think this dating two guys thing is getting to me. The stress of it. Finn, Oliver. Oliver, Finn. I think I'm getting an ulcer."
"Olly and the vet are making you sick?"
"My brothers making you sick?"
"I just need to make a choice and get it over with." Meredith walked forward.

Since Atlas was technically an intern until he was cleared, he was given the opportunity to present the patient. "Shawn Sullivan. 62. Had minimally invasive bypass surgery two days ago to remove a blockage from his LAD..."
"I'm all better now, thank you Atlas. So what do you think Miranda? Can I stop being a burden to you good people and go home?" The patient interrupted, Bailey smiled small.
"You need to stop interrupting the Doctors Shawn. You need to listen to what they say." Mrs. Sullivan told her husband as she pointed to the Doctors in the room.
"I need to get back to the dealership. They're going to can me if I'm gone to long." Shawn corrected his wife.
"They can't can you sweetie, you're the best salesman they've got."
"What do you sell?" The resident looked up from the patients chart.
"Cars." Mr. Sullivan smiled big and bright.
"My Shawnie could sell...anything." The wife chuckled.
"I believe he can. What he can't sell me on is going back to work before he gets his oxygen levels up." Bailey told the wife before she looked right at the patient and Atlas noticed she seemed to put on a scary face, "So put that oxygen back on Mr. Sullivan before I even think about letting you out of here. And if I do, I want your word: nothing fried, no alcohol and no cigarettes."
"Oh you're tough Miranda." Mr. Sullivan dismissed the request.
"I need your word Mr. Sullivan or I'm not going to sign those discharge paper."
The patient raised his hand in surrender. "I give you my word."
"Alright then. Mrs. Sullivan you need to go to the front desk to fill out some paper work. Maybe you can take your husband home."
"You alright Dr. Grey?" Bailey asked once she, Atlas and the interns had left the room.
"Yeah, Dr. Bailey, I just...need to make a choice is all." Meredith sat down in one of the chairs against the wall.
Atlas sees Derek approaching, his white coat swaying with every step. "Dr. Lee. I'm clipping a basilar tip aneurism. Any interest." Derek knew that as of right now Atlas was temporary an intern. Derek looks up and sees Addison walking towards Bailey, Derek pauses.
"Dr. Bailey can I get..." Addison stops.
That's when Atlas saw Mark. Atlas assumed that Mark was in Seattle to try and win Addison over once more, not get a job as head of plastics — oh how Atlas regrets picking him up from the airport now.
"Oh my God."
Derek follows Addison and Atlas view and also notices Mark. "Oh...my...God."
"Oh my God..." Meredith holds her hair back as she rocks slowly.
"Is that..." George trails off.
"McSteamy." Christina grins.
Meredith throws up on the floor, Atlas and Bailey run to her.
"Grey?" Bailey looks down at the vomiting intern.
"No Mr. Sullivan don't light that!" George tells as Mr. Sullivan lits a cigarette, which causes an explosion since he's on Oxygen.
"Somebody get a fire extinguisher!"
"Call a code red!"

"What kind of idiot lights a cigarette in a hospital." Atlas hears Richard say to Mark.
"Apparently people do idiotic things all the time." Derek says approaching Richard and Mark.
In Atlas's hand is a bag of popcorn that he's taking no time in devouring — Atlas loved popcorn.
Derek, the chief and Mark all exchange a glare. The chief walks away, going up the stairs. Derek follows in suit.
"Chief. Chief!" Derek yells climbing after him.

Meredith vomits once again. And Christina leans down close to Meredith, "Holy crap. Are you pregnant?"
Atlas drops his bag of popcorn and twirls around to see his younger brother with pointed eyes. Oliver's mouth is open and he stares down at Meredith instead of helping her, causing Atlas to move over towards him and shove him towards the vomiting girl.
Everyone takes a break from arguing to stare
"Oh this is just perfect. An adulterous love child." It wasn't a surprise when Addison said what she said, she was mad that Derek seemed to want Atlas and Atlas's family around him more than herself. And she also knew about the whole Oliver / Finn situation, hence the word adulterous: Meredith having been dating both men.
Yes, Oliver and Venus had broken up. Venus knew deep down that Oliver was in love with Meredith and she didn't blame him either, it was just the way life seemed to be working out.
The two were still good friends and Venus even grew closer to Christina.
Derek looks at Addison, "Goes along with an adulterous sociopath." He spits the words.
Mrs. Sullivan walks up to Doctor Bailey, "Oh Dr? I finished filling out the paper work. When do you think I can take Shawnie home?
Bailey looks at the wife, not knowing how to respond. "Uhhh..."

"So who's the father?" Atlas who's poking around Meredith's stomach asks.
"I'm not pregnant." Meredith denies.
"Yeah, and when I was sixteen and the girl I was dating, didn't think she was pregnant and then turned out pregnant didn't think so either. The fever, abdominal pain, non-stop vomiting?"
"I'm not pregnant." Meredith repeats, more as if she's trying to convince herself that she isn't.
Atlas gasped, "You don't know who the father is, do you?"
Meredith paused, her boyfriend — wasn't even her boyfriend but went on dates — was Atlas's younger sibling. "Uh. It would have to be Oliver's. There's no way it could be Finn's."
"You haven't had sex with the vet yet? You gotta leave him now, hun." Atlas told Meredith.
"I can't be pregnant, can I?" Meredith asked Atlas.
Atlas squealed, "With McBaby!"
"Nope, not with McBaby. Appendicitis." Bailey said as she walked into the hospital room.
Meredith peaked up, "In that case can I have some morphine?"
Atlas chuckled, semi glad that Meredith wasn't pregnant, he wasn't sure if his brother was ready to be a father yet. But even if Meredith was pregnant he would have supported them anyways.
