Atlas Peter Lee-Sunny knew something would happen today. Just liked when he had found out the Derek Shepherd ( his at the time boyfriend ) had a wife — who, if Atlas wasn't gay, then he would probably be drooling over her at how stunning she looked. The feeling wouldn't go away, no matter how much hot tea he had drank — it just wouldn't go away.

Little did he know, that Meredith Grey had the same feeling.

Before Atlas had to go into surgery with Burke, he made his way towards a patients room, after having heard some news.

"Pretty amazing right? The miracle of life." George smiles happily.

"Our Bailey. Becoming a mother. Feels good. Having Bailey back at the hospital. The balance is being restored." Richard leans against the hallway wall as he looks towards George but his eyes catch ahold of a running figure.

"Hey! No running in the halls!" Richard yells only to be ignored.

Atlas hears the comment, the shout, but does nothing as he comes to a skid right in front of Baileys hospital room.

"Bailsss! Mandy! Bailey is in there right? Don't tell me Oliver was lying." Atlas places his hands on his knees as he tries to catch his breath.

Derek walks by and up to the nurses station nearby. He sees the three standing there, "Hey guys." He says catching their attention. "What's going on?"

George gestures to the hospital room, "Bailey's in there."

"Oh Bailey's back? Derek grins excitedly, "That's excellent."

Derek makes his way to the door to peer in and quickly loses his smile, as he sees his wife examining Bailey. "And her cervix is being examined by my wife which is ah, which is a visual image I'll never get out of my head. Thanks for the warning."

George and Richard only smile innocently.

"Right." George mutters.

Derek's pager goes off. He looks to Atlas who gives him a friendly lopsided smile in return.

The door opens and Addison walks out, "Well...Hmm the gathering of men outside the delivery room. How mid-century of you." She moves to Derek who gives her a kiss on the cheek, Atlas avoids looking at them.

"Say hi to Bailey for me." Derek mutters to his wife before leaving.

"Mmm." She hums.

Addison walks up to the nursing station. George and Richard walk up to her, Atlas behind the two.

"How's she doing?" Richard looked to Addison.

"Taking it like a woman. 6 centimeters dilated. 50% effaced and refusing all pain meds which I think is stupid but I'm not in labor so..." she trails off before walking away, leaving the three men alone.

The doors open suddenly — scaring Atlas and making him jump back — Bailey walks out, "What are you people doing out here?"

"Are you alright? Can I get you anything?" Richard rushes out.

"A boy the size of a 10 pound bowling ball is working his way out of my body. Can you get me something for that? Can you get me a new vagina?!" The resident looks at everyone, her eyes landing on Atlas, "don't say it."

"Oh, well..."

"How about drugs? Huh, those I can get you. Maybe some nice epidural? Huh? Or cake and ice cream? You know what, I'll go get you ice cream, Bailss!" Atlas turns on his heel and rushes off.

Atlas returned around half an hour later banging on Miranda Baileys hospital room door.

"What!" The resident asks harshly as she opens the door, only for her eyes to soften when she sees Atlas.

"Here!" He practically shoves the ice cream into her arms before waving widely as he runs off.

Atlas so desperately wanted to cry, to leave Seattle Grace and not come back, and that was all because a patient had a bomb inside of his chest. And Atlas being Atlas had decided that it was his job along with a few others to wait for the bomb squad and help with the surgery.

The bomb squad is coming off the elevator onto the O.R floor, the person who Atlas assumes is the leader, turns towards himself and Meredith. "You're the surgical team?"

"Yes."
"Yeah."

"Dylan Young, bomb squad." Dylan introduces himself before turning to his team. "All right spread out and check the area and then we'll secure the patient."

He turns back to Meredith and Atlas, "Where are they?" He asks referring to the bomb and the patient.

Meredith points to the OR down the hall, "Dr. Burke has them in there."

"Right, the rest of this floor has been evacuated?"

"It has. Yes." Meredith nods.

"Okay, you stay here. Nobody moves unless I say so."

A bomb squad member calls out, "We've got people over here,"

Meredith looks confused, so does Atlas.

Dylan turns to Meredith and Atlas, "I thought you said the floor had been evacuated."

"I thought it had. I'm not in charge or anything."

"What about him? He in charge?" Dylan points to Atlas.

"Nope." Atlas says popping the 'p'.

Atlas turns his head as he hears Cristina yelling at a bomb squad member and sees her blocking him from entering the O.R. Meredith sees this too.

"Cristina!" Meredith and Atlas shout in sync.

Cristina puffs her chest and stares right at to the bomb squad guy, "Back Up!"

"Oh no she will hurt him!"

"Get em' Yang! Put those hands to use!" Atlas cheers.

Cristina looks to Meredith and Atlas, "What's going on?"

"Bomb in a body cavity." Meredith answers before Atlas can.

"Man. All I got is Bailey's husband's open brain."

"Bailey's husbands open brain?!"

The two interns ignore Atlas.

"What procedure?"

"Craniotomy with Shepherd."

"With Shepherd?!" Atlas's eyes widen a great amount, anyone would be scared that they'd fall out of his head.

"Shepherd's got Bailey's husband on the table?"

"Excuse me." Dylan the bomb guys interrupts only for the three to ignore him.

"Bailey's having a baby!" Atlas smiles happily as he mentions his best friend.

"Excuse me! Stop talking!" Dylan the bomb squad guys exclaims loudly.

Cristina, Meredith and Atlas all give each other looks and move away from each other.

Derek is still operating on Tucker with his O.R team. Dylan stands at the doorway. "Dr. Shepherd there's an explosive device in the OR next door. I need you to evacuate now."

"Yeah and I've got a guy who's brain is exposed on this table. I'm not going to walk away and leave him to die." Derek says to Dylan before looking at his OR team, "The rest of you can go."

Majority of the OR team leaves but a few stay. Dylan doesn't look very happy that some people stayed and that Derek is still operating.

"You close him up. You do whatever you have to do. The Chief of Surgery has authorized to tell me you cannot stay here." Dylan orders.

"The Chief of Surgery doesn't scare me. Dr. Bailey scares me. Her best friend scares me. I'm not going to be the one to let her husband die. And that's what would happen if I put his skull flap on in this condition. Bomb or no bomb. Now get out of my OR."

Dylan closes the door behind him.

Atlas felt bad for Hannah, who had barely even lived. She was holding a bomb in one hand and at one point she was holding ambu bag. Now Christina held the ambu bag as Meredith and Atlas tried to calm a freaking out Hannah down.

"Hannah. You can do this."

"No. It has to come out." Hannah cried.

Burke who stood closer to the door shook his head, "No, you keep it there. Just a little while longer."

"I have to! I have to!" Hannah yells, her voice strained from crying and hyperventilating.

Hannah pulls her hand fast. Burke, Dylan and Cristina all fall to the ground with the arms above there heads as they try to protect themselves.

Meredith and Atlas are still standing. Hannah runs to the door. Hannah opens it and leaves a bloody handprint on the wall as she runs out of the room. Meredith just stares after Hannah. The door closes slowly.

Cristina stands up slowly and sees that Meredith and Atlas now have their hands inside James Carlson. Burke stands up as well.

Cristina looks shocked and whispers, "Meredith. Atlas."

Atlas can feel part of the bomb in his hands and on his fingertips.

"What did I do. Oh, god." Meredith whispers to herself.

Dylan is standing up as well. Burke moves to go up to Meredith and Atlas.

Atlas can feel the side of Meredith's hand beside his own. His thoughts are racing as he looks down at the patients chest. Oh, oh. Im gonna die.

"Just stay right where you are. Nobody move. Stay exactly where you are." Dylan says, it comes out harshly.

Meredith takes in a slow deep breath just as Atlas lets out a deep breath.

Atlas looks over to Meredith who's muttering and whispering "what did I do?" over and over.

"I guess we both had the same idea." The cardio attending that holds the bomb says quietly.

Atlas really didn't think that his no-good-horrible feeling would be true — but it was. And now Atlas held a bomb in his hand with Meredith Grey, his younger brothers ex-girlfriend.
