"You can help, Atlas!" Alex Karev stepped forward, his hands holding into scans that he had stolen from Arizona.
"I can't help, Karev. I get it, I do, but I can't just fly to Africa." Atlas stopped walking and turned towards Alex, his hands on his hips.
Alex nodded, "But you can bring them here. You - you're practically famous in the surgeon community, they'd bow down if they asked you." I mean, on some levels, Alex was right. "You know I'm right."
"Karev, I have a patient. A man with a hole in his heart. Now, if you'd like to scrub in, than maybe we can talk more." Atlas started to walk away, Alex Karev following behind like a little puppy. "Eliza asked when you'd go and see her."
Eliza's awake now, on bed rest. She'll be discharged from the hospital soon, the doctors ( more so Mark ) having requested that she stays a little longer. Alex has been avoiding her, he believes that if he saw her, he'd feel bad because he suggested to Callie and Eliza that they should go on a b&b babymoon.
"Soon." Alex nodded, lying through his teeth. "I'll go soon."
"You go see her today, I'll go and talk to Arizona about the African kids." Atlas gave Alex the option, and Alex didn't say anything but speed off towards the room where Eliza was. Atlas followed behind for a minute, just to see Alex step into Eliza's room. Atlas signed happily. "I feel like a proud mom."

Atlas was sitting in a conference room, Alex sitting across from him. "I have eight patients lined up. From three African countries. All through the namboze clinic." Alex started to inform Atlas of what he had started planning. "There's ah, uh, cardiac defect, brain tumour, idiopathic gangrene case — when do we ever get to see that, right?"
Atlas smiled at Alex. "Not very often."
"Oh! And Hunt got me in touch with a military guy about ground transport. He also offered to operate pro-bono. So that means I have you, Robbins, Hunt, Bailey, Sloan, Shepherd, the residents." Alex rambled on, skimming through the papers in front of him.
"And how are you gonna pay for it all?" Atlas leaned back in his chair.
"Well, either from the chief of peds surgery — which would mean I would have to go talk to him, or you could — or you." Alex stopped skimming through papers as he brought all his attention towards Atlas.
"Who's budget?" Altas squinted his eyes.
"Peds. They are children." Alex was quick to answer before he went quiet and thought. "But, the chief of peds will probably say no... so yours? There's cardio patients, and - and you could get funding."
"What if the chief of peds says this is a bad idea? What if they don't sign off?" Atlas pressed, leaning forward now to seem intimidating. "And the cost? Something to start it?"
"100 grand to get things started." Alex deadpanned.
"See what the chief of peds says, and then let me know. I'll see what I can do, okay?" Atlas stood up, smiling proudly at Alex.
"Thank you, thank you." Alex shook Atlas's hand.
"Of course... you know, Karev out of everyone, you'd be the one to pull this off." Atlas walked off, leaving Alex to grin to himself.

Christina and Atlas were standing together as they waited for the bus to arrive. The kids that Atlas had helped Alex bring from Africa were on their way, now.
"Derek and me were approved to adopt. We have a meeting tomorrow. Atlas told Christina as he turned towards her.
"Baby's have small features and oversized eyes, triggering a hormonal response in humans. It's autonomic. It what keeps us from eating them." Christina went straight into it, telling Atlas what she had told Owen earlier.
"My gosh, you have a fascinating mind." Atlas muttered, star struck eyes.
Christina hummed, nodded her head as the two watched the bus pull up. Each person was assigned a case — Atlas being given supervision over the couple cardio cases that were coming. Christina had been given a little boy who Alex was hesitant to give her, could you blame him, Christina can be pretty mean.
Atlas stepped forward when Alex handed him a little girl, not much older than two. She couldn't walk yet, but the little girl smiled and clutched onto Atlas. "Hi, little one."
Atlas was so proud of Alex Karev, and the things he's done. He knows that Karev will go far, and do great things for the world.

Atlas liked being at weddings. He liked the way he was able to put a pause of everything that was happening in the hospital: his patients and surgeries. Now in the moment, he was able to gaze around at the decorations and gathering of people for the wedding.
"Atlas." Oliver whispered, stepping closer to his older brother.
"Yeah?" Atlas whispered back, not wanting to interrupt the people who were gathering around. The wedding hadn't started yet, but it would soon.
"Derek and I have a patient, Zola. She's from Africa." The corner of Oliver's lips turned upwards. "I want to adopt her... Derek said it was a good idea since she needs a family."
"My husband said what?" Atlas said, his voice slightly louder than a whisper.
"That me and Meredith should adopt Zola. I see her in my future, Atly. She's my kid." Oliver gushed, lovingly smiling at the thought of Zola.
Atlas turned towards his brother, bringing him in for a quick hug. "If that's what you wanna do, then congratulations, Olly. You'll be a great dad."
"Thanks big brother."
"Atlas..." Mark tapped Atlas on the shoulder, removing him from where he was standing. Mark pulled him towards the back of the area where they we're slightly hidden.
"Bailey said you'd marry Arizona and Callie." Mark got straight to the point, smiling sweetly.
"Bails did what?!" Atlas whisper yelled, shocked laced on his face.
"Callie was upset, and - and there was no one to marry the two. Bailey said that you would do it. It was the only way to get the wedding back on." Mark pushed all the words out. He had approximately three minutes before the music would start and people would walk down the isle.
"Where is she?" Atlas asked, whirling around trying to spot where his person was.
"Sitting in your spot."
Atlas sighed at Marks words. And at the sight of Miranda Bailey, his person, sitting in his spot waving back at him. "I have no choice, do I?"
"Nope." Mark shook his head, pushing Atlas down the side. "You got this."
Arizona had her arm linked with her fathers. Her white dress snug against her with some of it trailing behind her, mixing with the flower scattered on the ground. She held a small bouquet of flowers, calm white and pink coloured flowers. She stopped at the end of the line, placing a kiss on her fathers cheek before she turned and watched Callie walk down the isle.
Mark was walking Callie down the isle, whispering to Callie that she wouldn't trip as she walked. She was smiling, grinning from ear to ear. Her hair was fluffed, framing her face. Her flower bouquet was much larger than Arizonas, not that it mattered at all.
"Okay, hi." Atlas laughed causing the two brides to smile. "Who gives this bride to this bride?"
Callie turned towards Mark, who stepped forward. "That'd be me."
"We're here to celebrate, love and happiness. A union. Loyalty and magic..." Atlas let the words flow. "To bring together two exceptional, brilliant and beautiful human beings..."
The crowd awed and smiled, laughed and giggled at the words. He was working his magic.
"Repeat after me. I, Calliope Torres, take you, Arizona Robbins to be my wife."
"I Calliope Torres, take you, Arizona Robbins to be my wife."
"For better or for worse, in good times and bad. I chose you to be the one which whom I spend my life with."
"For better or for worse, in good times and bad. I chose you to be the one which whom I spend my life with, Calliope."
Atlas raised his hands when Arizona spoke. "That was all her. I didn't said Calliope!"
"I hear by pronounce you, wife and wife!"

Mark wheeled Eliza into a hospital room. Eliza's water had broken a few hours after the wedding of Callie Torres and Arizona Robbins. She's having contractions, almost fully dilated, and is now being wheeled into a delivery room.
"Hey soon to be mom and dad." The on-call delivery doctor, the one that would deliver Eliza and Marks baby smiled as they stepped into the room.
"Doctor Cappel, hi." Eliza gritted through her teeth, pain ripping through her. "How much longer?"
Doctor Cappel checked, happily smiling towards Eliza. "Fully dilated, you can push on your next contraction."
Eliza did as told, crying and squeezing onto Marks hand. By the time she had pushed twice, he was crying even harder, leaning back against the pillow exhaustedly. "I can't."
Mark nodded, pressing a kiss to Eliza's forehead. "You can, sweetheart."
Eliza shook her head, now leaning against Mark. "I can't Mark."
"You can, one more push, then you're done." Mark whispered, holding her hand and letting her squeeze it tell it turned white.
A cry filled the room. A cry that came from a little baby, the one that you often hear when they're brought into the new world.
"Mom and dad, meet your son." The one who delivered the baby said, handing the baby to Eliza.
"It's Brian." Mark said, eyes watering at the sight of his son.
The two now parents had discussed that if it was a boy, they'd name it after Eliza's father, Brian. And if it was a girl, they would name it after Marks mother or Marks practically adoptive mother, Mrs Shepherd.
"Brian Étoile Everett Sloan."
But on the birth certificate, it was Brian Étoile Everett Lee-Sunny Sloan. That's a tongue twister though, so maybe they'll stick with Brian, or Brian Étoile Everett Sloan. Who knows?
