Oliver and Eliza were twins, everyone knew that. They were each others best friends most days and even when they weren't, they were each other's family. But it was the last day of a contest Bailey and Atlas had organized and now they were enemies.

The two had been competing side by side the whole time, both would switch off half way through sutures so the other had a change, or switch during a surgery — that's not even all. The attendings were confused at first ( not atlas, he'd been through this many times. ) but after the two explained that this was their system and it worked all the time, they just shrugged and went on with their lives, and silently cursed them out some days.

But today was the last day of the contest and neither even looked at each other. And if they did even send a glance to each other, neither would wave or smile like usually, they would glare and scowl.

Now, Atlas was trying his best to avoid his siblings. He had seen them outside of the hospital whenever the two decided to actually decided, or were forced, to leave the hospital. The older sibling of the three would often let each of the interns onto his surgery well another could watch — but that was a whole different story with Eliza and Oliver. Atlas wouldn't offer them a change to scrub in, they had to beat the other interns to get in. He wasn't going to give it to them for free.

Beep. Beep. Buzz.

Oliver looked down to his own pager, the sight of some code for ER was labeled across it in a bright vibrant neon green. The young resident leaped up from the chair he had been lounging in and took of into a sprint, the magazine he had been holding was thrown carelessly onto the nurses station.

Eliza, who had been up on daycare with her niece, looked down to her hip at the sudden buzz and beep. Her pager was going off. With a sigh the resident stood up and kissed her niece on the forehead before she took off and headed down to the ER where she had been paged.

Eliza and Oliver both rounded the corner at the same time — the two weren't ready for it. Oliver's hands shot out to catch his sister and Eliza's own hands shot out too. Both siblings gripped into each others outreached hands, but it didn't help either and they both went tumbling to the floor.

"Ouch." They both muttered at the same time. Both their eyes widened at the fact that it was their siblings, the enemy, and they scrambled away from each other and towards the ambulance bay where they had been paged.

Both siblings were standing in the ambulance bay when the other four resident they had grown so close to came rushing out. Alex, Christina, Izzie and Meredith.

Oliver and Meredith were rocky and refused to talk about it. Meredith had explained that she wanted to be the only person Oliver could date, kiss and be with romantically. First, Oliver was head over heals for the Grey woman, but he knew she wasn't ready for a long therm relationship that ended in marriage and a family, not yet at least. So that's why he had told her no, but ended up going out on a date with a woman names Rose.

"Who's winning?" Meredith asked as Alex walked in front of his friends, a clip board in hand.

"Yang." He muttered out an answer.

"What?" Izzie let out and peaked over Alex's shoulder to look at the chart.

"Surprised?" He didn't even bother to look at the woman as she practically pushed him around to see the chart.

"What? Let me see." The blond reads the chart. "I'm 26 points behind? That's not possible."

Alex walks away from her and she only stands there dumbfounded, "Count again. What about all the surgeries?"

"Only 3 points for watching. You gotta do." Christina snarked as an ambulance sirens in the distance.

Izzie bounced back and forth on her feat. "I do do. I can't make them let me do procedures."

"You gotta ask." Meredith piped up.

"You gotta take charge of your own destiny, make it happen, like this." Christina ran forward, right up to the ambulance that has pulled in and throws open the door. "What do you got?"

The EMT steps out, chart in hand. "Otis Sharon, 61-year-old male, found unconscious on the street corner with a swollen ankle."

Christina moves away disappointed, "Not it."

"I don't even know what happened." Otis muttered looking at the doctors.

"Initial B. P. Was 90 over palp. Vitals stable after a bolus of N. S." The EMT announced.

Izzie stepped forward, "Okay, he's mine. All of you back off." The woman shouted to her friends and started to follow the EMT inside.

"It's a swollen ankle, Iz." Meredith told her sadly.

"Yeah, he passed out, he's pale, altered, hypotensive, and he's got a rash. You see a sprained ankle. I see a medical mystery. 80 points." Izzie firmly told them in reply before moving away.

Bailey walked out into the ambulance bay where everyone else but Izzie was standing, "Oh, Stevens is the only one working today?"

"Uh, no. We're all working. We got paged."

"No!" Oliver waved around to motion to them all standing. "See we're here Bailey."

Bailey only rolled her eyes at the young man, she turned to Christina. "For the ankle. It's gone. Now you're trolling for traumas?"

"Somebody could come in any minute with a critical injury. We're being proactive." Meredith piped up.

Alex nodded, "We're helping people." He added.

"You're trolling. You're trolling, and I've got no one on post-op and pre-op. Now move." The woman in charge pointed to ER.

Just as everyone turned around to go back inside, a SUV skids into the ambulance bay.

"Help us! Please help!" A woman calls out in panic.

"Help my brother!" Someone else yells out.

Christina and Oliver opens one of the door where there is a man who's slumped in the back seat against a woman.

Christina runs off. "I'm gonna get a gurney."

"Help my brother." Someone pleads in the mix of panic.

Once Christina comes back with a gurney she and Oliver go to help the man, Scott, out of the car.

"Sir, let's try and get you on this gurney." Oliver speaks calmly as he helps support the weight of the man.

"Careful." The woman Scott had been slumped against called out.

"Step down right here."

Oliver and Christina support him, the man loses the coat that was on his lap and his intestines start to fall to the ground. Oliver jumps in surprise and fumbles to catch them before they can hit the ground.

"Oh shit. Intestines in the hands. Intestines in the hands." Oliver loudly tells the people around him.

"Did you just say — "

"Intestine in the hands!" Oliver freaks out.

After today, Oliver can proudly say that he played "don't let it touch the ground" with human organs.

Eliza had been dragged onto a case Meredith had. Eliza had been on neuro for awhile now, her having a natural knack for the brain. Since she was on neuro that day, Meredith figured that it would been a good idea that she brought the other woman onto her case. Apparently the patient had a brain tumour.

"Something tells me you're not just worried about the damage to my hand." The patient, Phillip spoke after Eliza had mentioned she wanted to do a simple test.

"Phillip, earlier today, you were squinting at your paperwork."  Meredith pointed out.

"I keep telling him he needs glasses." Mrs. Robinson, Phillips wife chuckled.

"And your handwriting was very tiny and wasn't all that legible. Is that normal for you?" Eliza asked as she showed him and his wife the paperwork he had filled out.

"Well, uh, never been a straight-a student, if that's what you mean." The man joked lightly.

"Is he d — or are we done here? We could both use some rest." Mrs. Robinson snapped

Eliza sat on the edge of the bed, "Humor me for one more second. Okay, look straight ahead. Tell me when you see my fingers."

Eliza started to move her fingers back, "I see them." Philip announced.

Eliza and Meredith jumped up, "Tumour!" They both pumped their fists into the air. "Sorry."

The patient didn't look to happy, "This is nice of you, really. Dreaming up some brain tumor to make me feel better about the fact that I made a bear mad. Ever cross your mind I may be just the type of guy who's dumb enough to pet a bear?"

Meredith turned to the patients wife. "Jennifer, is he that type of guy?"

Jennifer shrugged, "Well, don't ask me. I've only known him a few months."

"Phillip, you knew better. You touched the cub anyway. That, along with your other symptoms — "

"What symptoms? My vision's going bad. So I get glasses, right?" Phillip interrupted Meredith.

"But it's not just your vision." Meredith started and looked to Eliza for her to continue.

"Brain tumors have been known to impede judgment, prompt spontaneity, impulsivity." Eliza finished.

"He married a trashy waitress, right? I mean, that's what you mean, that he married a girl like me, a rebound girl." Jennifer looked to the two doctors sadly.

"I'm just saying, I would like him to have an M.R.I Just to be sure."

Phillip looked at Jennifer and took her hand in his, "Well, the answer's no."

"Do the M.R.I." The patients wife insisted.

"Honey, I don't need..."

"Phillip, do the damn M.R.I, because you're wrong." Jennifer turned to the two residents, "He loves me. He loves me."

The residents rushed over to Bailey as the woman exited a conference room with Tuck on her hip.

"Who won?" Christina was the first to ask.

"Congratulaaaations..." Bailey drawled out.

"Who won?!" Oliver bounced on his feet.

"Grey and Eliza. The guy from the bear attack had a brain tumor, Grey and Eliza caught it. 80 points for solving a medical mystery. That's what put 'em over the top. They both tied." Bailey announced, a slight smile tugging at her lips.

"I could've found a tumor." Christina muttered in disbelief.

"But you didn't. You chose to scrub in with Hahn and watch for 3 little points. Now congratulate Grey and El."

"Congratulations." Everyone else but Oliver said.

Oliver looked between his sister and the woman of his dreams. "Congratulations you two." He pulled them both in for a hug.

Once the two woman had received their hugs, they both turned to leave. Smiles on their lips.

"Hey, don't you want your prize?" Bailey held out a very sparkley, red and white striped object. A sparkle pager.

"A shiny pager." Izzies eyes latched into the bright object.

"A sparkle pager." Bailey corrected.

"What's so great about a glitter pager?" Christina asked, not knowing the meaning behind the pager.

"A sparkle pager. It is special. It is surgery's holy grail. It's been passed down from resident to resident, and now it belongs to Dr. Grey and Dr. E. Lee-Sunny. For the next three months, whenever you all get a surgery, you have to page this pager, and if Grey or El wants your surgery, they has the right to take it from you." Bailey told them with a smirk.

Alex groaned, "Come on."

"What?"

"Enjoy the power, you two." Bailey told the winners of her contest before turning to the rest. "Now may I recommend you all go home? You smell, you greasy, you need to bathe, and I'm sick of looking at you. Even my one year old here is sick of looking at you. Isn't that right, bug? Sick of looking at your little, ugly faces."

Eliza passed the pager to Meredith who held it with her hand lazily. They both shared a smile — a winning smile. They are going to use this to their advantage. Or Eliza was, that's for sure.
