Miranda Bailey and Atlas Lee-Sunny could be anyones worse nightmare. The odd time they drank together, they thought the ice cream police would take them away because they forgot their wallets. The few times they had surgeries together, they often found themselves gossiping like teenage high school girls. But together, when someone messed with the other, they were unstoppable.
And this is why Atlas was boycotting his husband.
Okay, the truth was that Derek was bring back the hospital lectures, the ones doctors would have to do on patients of theirs. Luckily, Teddy Altman had offered to do a case of hers, that meant that Atlas wouldn't have to do one. Only his person had to, and Miranda Bailey did not want to, so that meant Atlas had to be by her side and hype her up.
"Bails! You got this!" Atlas jumped as he stepped into the room Bailey was in. "You're gonna do great!"
Miranda glared at Atlas through the mirror, "No."
A metaphorical lightbulb went of above Atlas's head. "Let's dance it out!" Atlas has excitedly exclaimed as he hurriedly pulled his phone from his pocket and turned some music on. As he slid his phone back into his pocket, Atlas started to dance around.
Miranda only stood there as she watched the man dance around like a child. "You know, this is what those interns and siblings of yours did."
"Yep. I loved dancing with them." Atlas reached forward and grabbed ahold of Bailey's hands, making her dance with him. "Just dance, Bails."

"This is a, uh, teaching hospital. We learn a lot by doing." Derek Shepherd started as he stood on the stage, a screen behind him lit up with the words 'Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital'. "We can also learn — we should learn from other people experiences. Their losses will save you losses. Their mistakes will save you mistakes. Their victories will inspire yours." Derek locked eyes with Atlas, the two sharing a loving smile. "Let's pay close attention. This is gonna be good... Doctor Miranda Bailey."
Atlas was the loudest to cheer. His hands went together as he clapped loudly, his smile was so wide as he yelled the words 'go Bails' over and over until she whirled around to glare at him.
"Good morning, everyone." Miranda called out to the audience, everyone had returned the good morning.
Atlas who was sitting in the front row watched as Bailey threw a piece of what looked like chocolate towards Christina, the Korean woman having her head down and not paying attention. Even from where Atlas was sitting he could still hear Christina mutter an "ow".
Bailey chuckled, "Morning, Doctor Yang. If I have to stand here, you have to listen. Eyes forward. Answer a question right, you get a chocolate. Doze off, you get beaned in the face. Ask doctor Yang and one of the Lee-Sunny's, my aim is exceptional." The crowd chuckled. "2003..."

It had been a few days since the lectures, but since that day, Atlas hadn't stopped calling Miranda 'Mandy' because she had mentioned the nickname in her speech.
Miranda was definitely not very happy that Atlas was calling her that, and Atlas knew that.
"Mandy!"
"Stop it Atlas!" Miranda groaned as she faced Atlas.
Atlas chuckled, "Fine, fine. You paged, Doctor Avery?" He looked to Jackson Avery.
"I did. Thank you for coming." Atlas shook Jackson's outreached hand with furrowed eyebrows. "This is my grandfather."
Without even realizing who the man was, Atlas stuck his hand out and shook the older man's hand. "Hello, I'm Doctor Lee-Sunny."
The older man nodded, "I know who you are. Chief of Cardio, known all over. Some pretty impressive research as well."
Atlas couldn't help but grin. "Thank you, Sir."
"Oh no, call me Harper. Harper Avery." Harper Avery smiled.
Atlas's eyes widened briefly before he looked to Jackson then back to Harper. "You had paged? How can I help you today?"
"My grandfather here wants awake abdominal surgery. The only way he's allowed is if you scrub in." Jackson explained as he sent his grandfather a quick glare, as if Jackson was saying he was in charge.
"That's no problem. I'd be happy to help." Atlas told the room.
"Great, we're off to surgery now." Richard Webber announced as he stepped into the room, his hand reaching to pull the railing of the hospital bed up.
"Let's get this show on the road." Atlas grinned as he shared a smile with Jackson.
"Not a bad-looking bowel, is it, Webber?" Harper Avery asked as Richard Webber operated on him, Atlas standing off to the side.
"No, Sir. If I had to guess, I would stay it was the bowel of a fifty-year-old. Suction, Doctor. Grey." Richard talked.
"Doctor. Grey. I've got a question for you. It's of a personal nature." Harper looked to Meredith.
Meredith looked to Atlas quickly, as if she was saying help. "Yes, Sir?"
"If your mother was still working here, would you have chosen to, uh, study at a-a different, lesser quality hospital in order to avoid the advantages of her legacy? And Miss Lee-Sunny, your older brother goes here, if you had the chance would you leave?"
Eliza looked up at her brother, knowing that he left huge footprints for her to follow in. "I would still go here, no matter what." Eliza told the man.
"I'm waiting here, Doctor. Grey."
"Uh..." Meredith was saved by the bell when Harper Avery's stats started to drop. "B.P's dropping!"

Atlas and Oliver stood side by side as they walked into an empty operating room. "Christina paged you too?" Oliver asked.
Christina had paged Atlas a 9-2-1 to the operating room, and Atlas was quick to leave once Jackson and Harper Avery had okayed it. "Yeah."
"You paged, Yang?" Oliver and Atlas spoke in sync.
"Yes! Okay, so here's the plan." Christina started, only she didn't get to far because Teddy Altman stepped into the room.
"What are you doing!"
"An ex-vivo." Christina was quick to answer.
"Ive never done one!" Teddy argued.
"That's why Atly is here. He's done research, he can help."
Atlas did end up helping with the surgery.
