Atlas had always liked the colour orange. It was warm but not to bright, and it reminded him of a sunset and sunrise. But today he did not like the colour orange, not at all.
"People will start to think your weird." Christina spoke suddenly.
"Your standing here too." Atlas deadpanned with a grin.
He and Christina had been standing outside of the hospital, watching as people fixed the signs — they weren't fixing them, they were replacing them. They had also been watching people with orange scrubs enter the hospital too.
Christina groaned as she pulled her coffee cup away from her lips. "Their invaders."
Atlas nodded, "They're here to take our jobs and run our home." He pouted.
Christina shook her head back and forth, "Nope, your a cardio surgeon, you are one of the best. There's only one Atlas. And not to mention you and Derek being engaged. You're not going anywhere."
Atlas sighed before he wrapped his arm gently around Christina's shoulder. "You'll be fine, wanna know why?"
"Why?" She questioned hesitantly.
"Because everyone can see that you'll be the next me. Your my cardio protégée!" Atlas grinned before he took a sip of his own coffee.
Everyone who ever worked at Seattle Grace, could see that Atlas enjoyed teaching. They all knew that he was a good teacher, and that he would make sure everyone took away some kind of medical lesson at the end of the day. They all also saw how well Christina worked with Atlas — well everyone worked well with Atlas — but Christina had a knack for cardio.
"If I get cut, you'll just find another one." Christina shrugged. "Probably one of the invaders."
Atlas hummed, "Hm. Sucks, you and Rosemarys baby's will always be my favourite."
Christina didn't reply to his words, she only stood beside the attending as they watched peoples lives move forward. Some were starting jobs, some were patients leaving the hospital, some were soon-to-be patients.
Someone wearing orange scrubs ran by, burning into Atlas and Christina. Both the attending and residents coffees splashed and spilt, resulting in a heated glare towards the man wearing orange scrubs that jogged into the hospital.
Like me, the writer said, Atlas really didn't like orange today.

Eliza had taken a week off, with Richard promising that her position as a resident would stay her own. Eliza was going down to Los Angeles to visit the one and only Addison Montgomery about finding a mentor for neonatal surgery, something Eliza had gathered a liking too in the past few months.
That meant it was only Oliver out of the Lee-Sunny twins. And oh how much Olly wanted to strangle his sister for leaving him.
Oliver sat comfortably beside Izzie, the short haired blond being back to work. His brown eyes widened every few seconds as another person wearing orange scrubs walked in. Too much orange, was being screamed in his head.
"Oh, hey. You can't put that there." Izzie turned around as she pointed to an empty cubby, her words catching Oliver's attention.
George O'Malleys empty cubby.
"Oh, they told us to grab a cubby." The orange scrubs woman said back as she continued to place her things in the cubby.
"Well, we keep it empty for a reason." Oliver snapped, standing up from his sitting position. "Can you just take your stuff out?"
Oliver didn't want to argue with anyone, not when his job was on the line. He could say something wrong and then boom! he's being fired for it.
Izzie nodded as she chimed into the conversation, "There's some empty ones over there you can use."
The new red haired resident tuned back towards the cubby, continuing to place her things in it. "I don't think so."
That caused Izzie to stand up too, "He said take it out."
Oliver could see it happening — shortly Izzie would throw a punch, swing and kick at the other woman, and that meant Oliver would have to hold her back considering Alex was no where to be found.
"Great. I got the two crazy ones next to me." She whispered loud enough that both Oliver and Izzie could hear.
The words seemed to have lit something inside Oliver chest, he was mad now. He understood before that the others didn't know what had happened to the previous cubby owner, but that didn't give anyone a right to be an ass like the red head was being. And she definitely didn't need to call himself and Izzie crazy.
No one really saw it coming. Oliver had quickly taken of his sunglasses, throwing them into his own cubby. He stocked forward with Izzie hot on his trail. I won't hit her! Oliver was face to face with the red head he didn't know, the two breathing the same air.
"Oh, you wanna fight? 'Cause I will." Izzie snarked over Oliver shoulder, the red head muttering something back to her friend beside her — whatever had been said must have angered Oliver and Izzie even more because Olivers quickly went to lunge forward ( and he would have definitely lots his job if he had gotten into a fight, ) at the red headed woman, not giving any shit about what would happen next.
( Now Olly here, is a sweet man who wears sunglasses and funky clothing when he's not at work. He's energetic and fun to be around. And not to mention the unneeded fact that his devoted heart belongs to Meredith Grey. ) Oliver wouldn't hit anyone — he's been in one fight and that was when he saw Eliza's first ever boy friend kiss Eliza on the lips — but he was real close to hitting the red headed invader.
Alex walked in just in time to run forward and wrap his arms around Oliver's waist, pulling his back and out of the residents lounge with Izzie following behind quickly.
Oliver whined. "I left my sunglasses."
The struggling of Oliver only lasted a minute or so before he went limp in his friends arm. Alex was basically carrying Oliver down the wall way where Christina and Lexie were standing together, leaning against the glass railing looking over the open waiting room.
"You'll get 'em back soon." Alex grunted as Oliver's foot and his own tangled together, Alex stumbled but managed to keep the uncooperative resident and himself from falling over.
"They took George's cubby." Izzie explained to Christina and Lexie once she noticed their curious eyes on Oliver and Alex.
"Yeah! They're so mean! Oh gosh, I was gonna burst." Oliver abruptly stood tall — well as tall as he was — and tried not to stumble anymore than he already was as he faced Alex. "And this man, phew, saved me. But also made me leave my glasses."
"How could you leave his glasses there! With the invaders!" Lexie spoke, but her words held a sarcastic joking tone unlike Oliver's very, very serious one.
Alex groaned and started to walk away, pulling Oliver along with him. "Let's go see Mer."
"Ooo," Oliver cheered. "Yay!"

"You can't pray away the gay!"
Atlas Peter Lee-Sunny had never heard anything quite like that. He had heard his fair share of things regarding the lgbtq plus, and many others.
But never once had he heard a fellow attending — or anyone for that matter — yell at their parent and another adult figure in their life, saying that they couldn't pray away the gay.
"Callie." Atlas sighed, unhappy with the situation already, he barley knew what was going on — assuming that Callie's father had shown up again with someone else this time, only there were specific motives to be revealed.
Callie didn't even look over her shoulder at the attending ( or the new chief of cardio ) as she continued down the hallway towards an empty room she could vent in.
"Cal." Atlas tried once more, but Callie didn't seem to acknowledge him, the words going in one ear and out the other.
Callie stepped into an empty conference room. She abruptly turned towards Atlas, just as he was closing the door being him. "How could he? He flew 3,00 miles to make me straight! With a priest!"
Atlas didn't speak yet, not wanting to interrupt Callie and her rant.
"I'm lucky they didn't March into the E.R, swinging incense, all — all hepped up for an exorcism." Callie continued on with her rant, Atlas only standing there leaning against one of the shelves. "He came here to disinfect Arizona from my life." Callie stated sadly. " Do you find that abhorrent?"
"I do, but..." Atlas trailed off, he understood both sides of the party the more he thought about it.
Callie's father had grown up with certain views, he only knew what he had been brought up with. And with Callie, she only saw the fact that her father wanted to change her — not the fact that this was all knew to him too.
"There is no "but," okay?" Callie snapped, Atlas didn't take her words to heart since he knew it was just heat of the moment. "Oh, oh — you're gonna... gonna tell me you get where he's coming from?"
Atlas stayed quiet and Callie continued with a scoff, "You out of all people should understand."
"Just try and talk to him." Atlas suggested as kind as he could.
"I have nothing to say. If he wants to throw away our relationship after 30 years, Then that's his decision." Callie scowled.
"You — you changed. They knew you as someone who loved men, your father thought he would see you get married to a man. He needs time to understand that your different from the little girl you once were." Atlas took a step forward, not in a threatening way, but more of a 'im now apart of this conversation' kinda way.
"Y-you didn't expect a little understanding when you came out to your parents?" Callie asked in reply.
Atlas grinned happily, "I had like two girlfriends, ever. And one was fake. My brother found out first, found a... magazine under my bed well he was looking for a pair of shoes. Told me he didn't care at all, then I told my parents and they were happy — they said: 'well at least you can't get anyone pregnant now!'"
Atlas paused before he continued, "But you, you dated men your whole life. You loved em, even married one.
Something years ago, you were probably telling him all about your boyfriends — a year or so ago you were telling him about George. And now, now your someone new. Your a whole new girl." Atlas sighed. "So give him a chance, and have a conversation with him. Even if it doesn't go the way you or him want, it doesn't hurt to try."

Derek Shepherd and Atlas Lee-Sunny were together, as in romantically involved. They were engaged and just before the merger between the two hospitals, they had gone and taken a weekend for themselves to work out any problems — like Derek hitting his engagement ring into the woods. There was a lot of talking involved, a lot of making up and making out.
But now the two were good, or as good as two engaged people could be. Their slightly boring arguments now consisted of what flowers they would have at the wedding and who would take Starlee into day care.
"Hiya," Atlas grinned as he leaned his head against Derek's shoulder. The two were outside of the daycare, just waiting a few more minutes before they had to go in and get Star.
"Hi, love." Derek leaned his head on top of Atlas's. "How was your day?"
"Good." Atlas hummed. "I meet a few of the invaders, not sure if I like them or not."
Derek laughed lightly as he turned his head and placed a kiss to Atlas's head. "You don't gotta like em, just teach them. And we all know your a great teacher."
Atlas placed a kiss on Derek's jaw, "I love you."
"I love you too." Derek replied as he took his fiancées hand in his own and walked into the day care.
Well this was happening, Oliver was laying down with his own wife. Meredith had given apart of her liver to her father and was now on bed rest in the hospital.
"How's your incision?" Oliver hummed as he looked down at Meredith.
"Good, don't hurt much right now." Meredith replied as Christina leaned her head further into her leg, the Korean woman sitting on a chair beside the bed.
Alex Karev walked into the hospital room holding a piece of paper. His eyes were swollen and he looked empty, like something had been taken away from him.
"Tell me everything. Did you beat them? Kick their asses?" Meredith asked eagerly. "Come on. I want a full report."
"Izzie left me." Alex whispered. "She wrote a note and she left me."
Oliver gently moved away from Meredith, ready to go hug his friend.
"I — I don't, I don't, I don't know if she's coming back." Alex continued brokenly.
And Oliver moved of the bed and towards Alex slowly. His arms were open, ready to engulf his friend in a hug.
Gently he wrapped his arms around Alex. Alex didn't make any moments, only letting his friend hold him. When Oliver pulled away though, that's when Alex wrapped his own arms around his friend ( one of his best, by the way ) and held on.
Addison Montgomery pulled away from her and Eliza's hug. "You're welcome here whenever, we'd be glad to have you."
