——— hyerin doesn't really consider herself to be a 'hopeless romantic,' but when it does come to finding someone or being in a relationship, she does her best to make sure that it's worth something. of course, she still takes safety measures as to make sure that she doesn't get hurt if things don't work out the way she hopes or imagines, but with effort from both her and the other person, she's open to giving it her all.

has she felt true love with the people she's been with or talked to? not with her first two relationships, really. although she has felt as if she probably would have if her past relationships had worked out. she's not really rushing to do so, though; she knows that she's busier now than ever, and she's fine continuing to perform and pursue her career.

it's not that she's lonely, she knows she has her friends and family by her side. but besides them, she's spent most of her career — her stages, performances, career — by herself. she sees girl groups and boy groups be close with their members and sometimes she wishes she would have debuted in a group. she likes to tell everyone that she'd be content with either ending up with someone or by herself. yet, a slither of hope still remains inside her where she'll find someone to whom share everything with. an epic love, something and someone that she can consider a soulmate: her other half.

hyerin knows that that day will definitely come soon; she knows that she's a good person with good intentions and a good heart. and when that day comes, she hopes that it'll be a true love where she can pour her whole heart out without a care in the world.

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: since hyerin and got7 both debuted in january of the same year, they came across each other from time to time when they were doing their debut promotions. mark thought that her stage presence and dance break for 'already' were really cool, so he striked up a conversation with her backstage. he got her number and from then on, they began talking frequently and went on a couple of dates before making it official.

hyerin wouldn't say that she was completely whipped or in love with him, but she definitely felt some sort of way for him and she thought that her feelings would grow stronger the more time they spent together as a couple.

but since they were rookies and scandals are especially easy to get when freshly debuted, they met in secret and were really only able to hang out and go on dates a couple of times. at first, that was understandable and it seemed fine between them. after a couple of months passed by, mark slowly began to lose interest and didn't put in as much effort into the relationship as he used to.

it disappointed hyerin, of course, but she knew it was bound to happen as something so secretive wasn't meant to go on or last for so long.

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: these two met when inyeop was auditioning at true colors when they were holding modeling auditions. inyeop got lost and walked into the wrong room, which turned out to be a dance practice room right when hyerin was using it to practice her choreography for her comeback at that time. inyeop quickly apologized and hyerin walked him to the right direction.

after his audition went over, inyeop went out to look for her in the building to thank her for her kindness and helping him find the right room. he was a bit shy, but he gave her his number so that they could talk again and they became a couple after a couple of dates and rendezvous.

inyeop hadn't passed his audition with true colors but signed with another company shortly after and was soon to make his debut as an actor. his schedule got busy after and as hyerin was gaining popularity in the states, their schedules didn't really work. though that wasn't a problem for hyerin, inyeop slowly fell out of interest as acting and modeling took up his time.

after breaking up, hyerin was a bit more heartbroken with the end of their relationship as they had really sweet moments and inyeop practically treated her like a princess when they did have a chance to be together, along with the fact that he was also her first time. they decided on leaving things on friendly terms, though, but they haven't really talked or come across together since then.

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: hyerin and namjoon met when they were temporary mc's for music bank in late 2017. they were quite shy around each other when they first met to rehearse their scripts because they both found each other attractive and were both big artists in both korea and the rest of the world. throughout one of the last times that they privately met to rehearse their last show, namjoon asked for hyerin's number, to which she gladly handed over.

after swapping information, they stayed up late talking or texting on the phone or sneaking out to go on very late night walks throughout parks or streets that would usually be super busy in the day. when they went on their first official date, it all felt right to both of them, and after a couple more they became official. they felt things that neither one of them had felt before, and their relationship was quickly filled with sweet moments and memories.

when they both began gaining more and more popularity outside of korea and worldwide, their perspective schedules got busy but yet they still made an effort to talk to each other, because their feeling for each other were far too strong. but after a while they became too busy and couldn't really make that same effort, so they decided that it was for the best to take a break to focus on their careers.

even though they would miss each other, pondering thoughts and questions would fill up their brains and make them hesitant to rekindle things between them. questions such as 'would it ever really work out for us at the end?' seeing as they were both some — if not the — of the biggest artists in the world, and were sometimes even pitted against each other.

there was a part of them where they thought that maybe their feelings for each other would die out after being apart and busy, but, to their surprise, they didn't. each time they heard one another's name, their heart would begin to race super fast and their brain was immediately flooded with memories of each other, ranging from sweet to intimate to even sad ones.

they would make moves to go over to one another's perspective homes to talk about things, but most of the time the tension or longing between them was too thick that they'd just spend the night together but never really work things out, even though they were both big on putting in effort and communicating. then when they would actually attempt to settle things it would end up in asking for more space, all due to the insecurities and questions.

even throughout all it, their love for each other is still too strong, and the one thing that was for sure, no matter what, was that they were going to end up together in the end.
